Chapter 2

Chapter 1: A New Nanny

James Potter was a widower. His wife, Lily, had died in childbirth, and he was left to raise their young son, Harry, on his own.

James was struggling. He was working long hours at his job, and he didn't have much time to spend with Harry. He was also struggling to cope with his grief, and he felt like he was failing as a father.

One day, James decided to hire a nanny to help him with Harry. He interviewed several candidates, but he wasn't sure who to choose.

Then, he met Mika. She was young, but she was kind, patient, and experienced with children. She also had a way of making Harry feel comfortable and safe.

James hired Mika, and she quickly became an important part of their lives. She helped James to take care of Harry, and she also helped him to cope with his grief.

James was starting to feel like he was finally getting his life back on track. He had a good job, a loving son, and a supportive nanny. He was starting to feel like he could be a good father after all.

Here I am just popping up out of nowhere lol. Honestly just really proud of actually achieving a goal I set for myself. Even if it did take 3 years to achieve. Life has been rough and I don't nearly play WoW as much as I'd like. (Which sucks because I genuinely did really like Dragonflight. Just was not in a place to play it.) So I've been writing my book here.

I have no words. I finished it a couple of weeks ago and I’m still riding that high. I showed my husband and broke down in tears. I’ve never worked so hard on a goal, and actually achieved it. Through the depression, financial problems, life’s hurdles and the loneliness. I did it.

Proof reading and editing is done and I'm in the process of hiring a cover designer. I'm now looking for writer/author forums and people who I can give a free copy to in exchange for a review on their blog or social media account.

But in the end, I don’t care if it doesn’t make me rich. The fact that I will have a physical copy of something I wrote is enough. The opportunity to share this story is enough. Already planning the second book!!

The synopsis:

Set in a high medical fantasy world full of magic, dangerous beasts, and conflicting nations. The story follows a little mage girl named Micha. She lives at the prestigious magi academy and seat of power for the Mage’s Guild, E’rithar, found as an orphan with rare magical abilities. But since she can remember she’s had visions or dreams. The Mage’ Guild wants her to forget these visions but she’s driven to find what they mean, who she is and where she came from. When a necromancer attacks the academy she and her friends take the chance to escape their gilded cage. On her travels she meets the broken barbarian warrior, Zack, who vows to protect her as she runs from the bloodthirsty templar Nymoria who is sent to bring her back. The templar seeks her death, the Guild seeks to bring her back alive all while the necromancer seemingly is on the same path, sowing chaos and death as he builds his army. Can she escape with her and her friends alive and find who she is?

The Basic Blog Introduction

Hey Everyone,

For those who don’t know, my name is Nathan. I grew up in Massachusetts for 20+ Years, Spent Three Summers in Neptune City, NJ, Then moved to Georgia. I am currently working in West Yellowstone, Montana, for the summer, and this is where I will start this blog.

So I tend to bounce around and travel to many different places. I love spending time on greyhounds, trains, and the occasional flight while planning my next move. When I travel, I like to find the hidden places that may be overlooked but are filled with life and excitement. They were notorious for it—for not finishing games.

Whether it was fn.af or new mine.craft mods, it normally took some begging and Twitter tags to set them in motion.

This time, though—this time was different.

For one thing, it was their first game together with George in Florida. Even though they were in separate rooms, there was something familiar in it. They could both sit down and listen to voices almost like they had first begun. And, and—the best part: they could leave their rooms and meet in the middle with a hi and a kiss pressed to blushing cheeks.

For another, they were married in it. George had spoken enough about marriage in the past couple years that he secretly rooted for his blue-haired character. (He blindly ignored that they were in the middle of the divorce, because then again, sometimes he also wanted to smother Dream when he snored too loud.)

So, after California and things had settled, George was the one to prompt Dream to continue playing. While it was Dream who kept him uploading and editing his last couple months in London, it was George who kept Dream streaming.

“Come on,” George said, laughing as Dream’s arms tightened around him. “We promised.”

Dream was a deadweight. “I didn’t promise.”

George snorted and tried once more to break out of Dream’s grasp. “Too bad. We promised.”

Dream’s face softened, but he hid it by burying it in George’s chest. “Shut up.”

“No,” he said. “I don’t think I will.”

George finally wiggled his way out. “See you in ten,” he called out behind him, leaving Dream watching him with a smile and messy bedhead.

Within thirty minutes they were live, and within three hours more, they were back in each other’s arms once again.
