When I saw the Elf Wizard, Anthanelle miniature from Reaper Miniatures, I immediately knew I wanted to paint her in the style of Aredhel, the White Lady of the Noldor, and I really like the headcanon that Fingolfin's kids have darker skin, so this was born.
I really like the white and pale blue, though I'm slightly less sure about the silver. Oh well, it works alright...

For something a little different, here's what I made for my dad for Christmas. He took me to see the LotR movies when I was a wee lass in the 2000s cause he knew I loved the books, and in doing so fell in love with the story too. It's a story I will forever associate with him.
Model is by Gambody. A lot of reviews complained about assembling the cloak and the massive gaps left due to shrinkage, and they weren't kidding. The cloak was an absolute nightmare and took a lot of manual sculpting with modelling putty to bridge the gaps and reintroduce the texture on the cloak. But it was worth the struggle, because the model looks so much better with the cloak than without.
Initially I was going to paint the skulls and helmets on the base to be realistically coloured. But Sauron's colours are so muted I felt it would have drawn attention away from him. So in the end the only spot of vibrant colour is the One Ring, which felt right.
He was thrilled to say the least!

‘Star Dreams’ windstone pyo gryphon. This piece is based on the Australian female red tailed black cockatoo. Only the females of this bird species have this beautiful yellow to red gradient & the dusting of yellow spots/stripes on their feathers.
This one is staying with me. But I will always consider commission requests for windstone pyos based off birds.

Finally finished painting this 1/8th scale Vash model!! This is not my model, I found it on Cults3d at the link below.
I haven’t painted something this big before, it’s usually just miniatures, so this was a fun challenge! I am addicted now unfortunately. Will be needing a display shelf for all the little men I’m about to create.

a break from my usual content cuz i got commissioned to paint some tabletop miniatures and i want to show off lol
i do a lot of cosplay crafting so painting small elements in particular is not new, but it was my first time painting minis specifically. it was pretty intimidating but im so happy with how they turned out, and the client is even happier, win-win.
those were the 3 biggest tho, now onto the next 8 more smaller ones.......

3d modeled, printed, and painted myself some mini-figs for board games. They aren't perfect but I love how they came out. Normally there would be spots on the hat, but I went with pips to indicate player number.

Ready for a layer of clear coat! I’ve never done washes with acrylic paint, but I’ve been lead to believe that it is something that can be done. But I guess I’ll find out either way because that’s what’s next!
ID: two pictures of a seated figurine of Bruno from Encanto on a piece of green construction paper. He has a base layer of paint, but no shading or gradients yet. Also visible are paint brushes and bottles of acrylic paint in the background.

Say hi to pirate lady! She was a lot of fun to paint, especially with Army Painter’s Speedpaints.
It took me a long while to figure out where I'd gotten this miniature, but I eventually found it originated here on DynamicPrints (though I'm still pretty sure I got it somewhere else...).

After being neglected due to work, I’m determined to finish this gryphon off. Completed the antiquing and drybrushing aspect of the shading & feather details. Eyes are sitting in there so I could get a feel of how it’s coming along.
