I watched for the first time perks of a wallflower earlier and now that I read the shoko fic I just kept picturing this scenario where Shoko and Yaga are talking and yaga topic changes to reader and conversation goes something like

Shoko: why do good people choose the wrong people to love

Yaga: we accept the love we think we deserve

Shoko: can we make them know that they deserve more?

Yaga: we can try

i cried writing the part where shoko cries because when i think abt how i could develop r, it dawned on me that shoko is literally soooo important to reader.

and readers processing her words, “well..i just know i’d take you over anyone. no one has made, and continues to make, my life change into something better.. into something i can accept and live with. but now i have you. and i just hope for as long we’re together, that i show you how grateful i am.”

and shoko’s eyes well up, fingers shakily as she swears to herself to give you ever single thing you could possibly want in the world, material or emotion. she feels like it’s cruel the world turned enough for you to somehow end up with someone like her. you could do something much better she thinks.

way better than the bouquets she gives you every month, that you take care of daily, better than the extra kisses that you’re never afraid to wipe away. maybe even better than the stressed atitudes she gives you, better than the whispers of apologies that she’ll give nearly an hour later. why couldn’t you just go after something— someone, better?

but perhaps, when those thoughts become apparent to you, you can convince her that she does enough. more than enough. that she doesn’t realize just how much she’s affected you. no one will ever compare to her.

YOU ALWAYS TOOK CARE OF YOURSELF. AND THAT meant in mostly the form of working out. You loved doing that. It mostly helped your mental health, and because of it, you grew to be more buff, which you were most definitely proud of. But there were times that even you lost self confidence sometimes. And it was becoming a little more evident than you hoped.

They always got weird looks, got called weird names. Usually, that did not bother them. But there was one particular group of females that called you some really mean name and it just broke your heart into pieces. It definitely crushed some of the self esteem that you had.

You had stayed in your apartment that day due to it, not wanting to go out into the world. Usually, you would've left the apartment by now. So when Ray noticed that you were still in bed, he got a little worried because you looked so sad at the moment.

He walks over to you before sitting on the edge of your bed. "Hey, what's wrong?"

You didn't know if you wanted to talk about it right now. But you manage to look up at Ray's face to see that he was genuinely concerned. You then look away, feeling a bit ashamed.

"I know something's bothering you," Ray tells you, before kissing your cheek.

A sigh escapes your lips. "People look at me funny," you start, "for the past week, i've been called names."

"What? By who?" Ray questioned.

"Just by people. Every time I step outside they give me weird looks. All because my arms look so much different than theirs," you explain to them, "These group of girls ... They made fun of me the whole time I was at the gym yesterday. It really hurt a little bit of my pride."

Ray's eyes soften. He moves a little bit closer so that he can face you. "Well, if it makes you feel any better, I like that you're buff," he says.

You look up at Ray. "You're supposed to say that. You're my partner," you told him.

"I'm not saying that only because you're my partner. I'm saying that because I love you. And I actually do like your muscles," Ray told you with a chuckle, "It shows that you take pride in your appearance. You work out because it makes you feel happy, right?"

You look at him, giving him a slight nod. Working out always made you feel much better. But those girls ... You couldn't really stop thinking about it.

"Right," you say quietly.

"So, I don't think they should take that happiness from you," Ray told you, "Besides. It shows that you're strong. Embrace that."

You couldn't help but to smile at those words. "You think I'm strong."

"I don't just think it," he answers, "I know it."

You finally sit up from the bed. You give Ray a kiss to his cheek. It almost makes him blush. "You're too sweet," you say, "and you're right. I shouldn't let a couple girls ruin working out for me."

"See? That's the spirit," Ray says back with a chuckle," So is that a deciding factor? You're gonna go back."

wait guys can i be a little hater about totk i haven’t done that on here. and like for the record i’ve been having lots of fun with it even if i haven’t been able to play for a while. but also

anyways NUMBER ONE. sticking with the nonlinear storytelling. i think it worked for botw, felt immersive with link uncovering things about his past on his own, etc. i don’t understand the point of it here and i think it takes away from the story lol. especially with the dragons tears where they like try to foreshadow and they try to show u characters and a storyline but succeed in actually letting us know the characters hardly at all and all foreshadowing fails because you can get them in any order which also brings me to the end cutscene of minerus temple which for some reason is just 70% recapping what the dragons tears said? then the temples didnt feel very rewarding to finish just because you didnt learn anything new unlike the divine beasts you just got nearly identical scenes for all the dead sages changed only by speech patterns and approximately 3 lines from the new sage. id rather just have a scene with the new sage then the sameee cutscene with zelda every time. and i truly believe the scene after the last geoglyph dragons tear wouldve been way more impactful for me if id gotten the last few in order. i felt a drive to advance the plot for about three days and then nothing. because there is SO LITTLE plot it feels like. you get these fragments here and there and while ive been loving to explore this changed hyrule its like. i was so excited for new plot especially bringing back ganon back into the mix after so long and all we got were crumbs. come on now.

SECOND speaking of plot what was with all that emphasis on the sky islands in trailers when its the DEPTHS that r so much bigger. and there is like NOTHING about them in the plot of the games — they’re just an extension of the sky islands and overworld, really, in everything but aesthetic appearance, and they’re never relevant in the story despite how huge it should seem that there is clear evidence of zonai civilization there which is for some reason identical to whats in the sky? everyones like omg look in the sky and only josha cares about the underground in a sidequest that means very little.

THREE everyones already said something about the disappearance of guardian tech and its already been countered with a “well they must have dismantled it all to avoid it being used against them again” and thats all well and good but the complete lack of mention despite working closely with the sheikah tech researchers is INSANEE whered the massive divine beasts go?! its like the events of botw never happened no one talks about it ingame!!!!! no ones ever like well ever since we cleared all those broken down guardians from the field by fort hateno, or we’ve been using the old tech to learn from to create this new slate that is nearly identical in function to ur old one but we’re gonna for some reason always act like this camera or sheikah sensor r totally new and exciting. ???

Being favored by Ahin Grace publically was a great feat, everyone knew how much he cared for you. Sending you luxury goods, having guards to protect you- caring for you himself when you were sick. Only a blind fool wouldn’t know how he held his dear sister closely.

So when people heard you had a crush, an abundance of variety of theories on how Ahin was gonna react arose and somewhat dominated the newspaper, theories about his reaction almost always rose up to the gossip talks of the ladies.

Everyone's freaking out on twt over the bts photo showing Alexander and Wille (and seriously, sameee). Since we're a fandom so deprived of content that we basically over analyze every bit of crumb thrown our way, I decided to theorize what this might mean and all my brain came up with is that:

1. I agree it has something to do with a revenge plot against August. Think about it. The Queen has known it was August who leaked the tape and told Wille that they would "gain nothing by going public", meaning she has no intention of punishing him, and I bet my left toenail that she will continue to provide for August if only for the sole reason of buying his silence. After all, the press would have a field day if they find out that it's an actual member (distant, but still) of the royal family who filmed and outed the prince.

2. Wille is obviously furious about this. However, I think he'll go along with his mother in order to maintain what little agency he has. This would explain the more "princely" haircut. The PR team and Queen probably thinks it would be good to change his image, literally and metaphorically. Haircuts are pretty symbolic in shows/movies too, as it's often related to someone moving on or changing. Whether this is for better or for worse with regards to Wilhelm, well, we'll have to wait and see. (I do believe it'll be a turning point for him. Watch as our boy starts hatching plans with every snip oh-ho)

3. In relation to number 2, Wille is probably going to use his crown prince card. If he can't punish August for the tape, then he can do the next best thing: take away Hillerska from him. We all know how important Hillerska is to August—it's basically his whole world—and I'm assuming that after the whole Society fiasco there's a certain power imbalance at school, or at least at its higher ranks. We saw a photo of Nils and Wille, and although we're not sure yet if that's an actual scene or not, I'll still wager that they'll have a lot of scenes together in S2. This is significant as we don't really see them interact at all in S1. I know Nils isn't part of the Society, but he is one of August's best friends (along with Vincent) and as a third year wields some sort of authority over the boys at school. He'll probably feel left out of August's nobles-only-bs soon enough. Vincent will probably leave August in the dust as well, as he is the one supplying him meds early on and he wouldn't want his name to be associated with August if things get out of hand. So Wille will be having them in his hold one by one. They all want to be close to him if only to get favors in the future, but that's fine. You gotta use what you have, right?

4. Obviously this will create a divide among the students, especially those in the upper ranks, but the deciding factor will be Alexander. I suppose Wille got a hold of him by asking the other boys and I think he'll offer him a proposition that's both beneficial to Alexander and detrimental to August. I doubt Alexander will help them out of the goodness of his heart because, after all, Wille is a huge reason why he was the one that got blamed in the first place. Drug related offences in Sweden vary in severity and punishment, but suffice to say that it won't be good for August's record for him to be involved in a drug case, and in extension, this will put the Queen in a tight spot as she's basically sponsoring him. Let's see just how much she means family first.

5. Depending on whatever offer Wille can give Alexander, it'll be imperative that it's Alexander who implicates August, as Wille can be removed from the situation and no one—not August or his mother—can outright accuse him of having anything to do with bringing August down. He can even have Simon's involvement in the whole thing erased as part of the bargain. Like Wille mentioned back in S1, it doesn't matter when it's their word against one guy. No one will believe whatever story August comes up with, however true, since no one will back him up. Like I mentioned earlier, even Vincent will leave him. Sara will, too, after she inevitably admits to Simon the truth.

6. My call? Wille will take over Hillerska, bring August to heel, then push the Queen to a corner by basically forcing them to choose between the two: either to let him have the life he wants or at least move in a limited capacity that allows him to be with Simon, or air out all the family's dirty laundry. They'd have to settle for what they think is the lesser evil here. If Wille plays his cards right, we'll get to see him in his gaslight gatekeep girlboss era.

The sooner Wille realizes that being Crown Prince has its advantages, the better he'll be able to move things according to his will. What's the worse they can do? Remove him from the line of succession? Doubt the Queen will want to announce to the world the reasons why. People's distaste and disapproval for the monarchy will just skyrocket. And if there's one thing the Queen loves more than her son—scratch that, she loves everything more than her son. So yeah, she won't risk it.

I mean yes z has helped Tom in many ways but I wouldn’t say he spiraled without her, I think he got through just fine compared to other people considering he was going through a breakup, spiderman being taken out of the mcu and being called a cheater and having someone get a lot of hate because they were seen with him all at the same time I think he handled all of that quite well to be honest. Anyway, as far as Tom "spiraling", that doesn't mean he hit rock bottom or turned into a crazy maniac. It just means that he was definitively NOT himself after his breakup with Zendaya. I don't think I need to go over the things we saw when they broke up. Even he himself mentioned ina recent interview last year that he didn't want to go into all of the details of what he did in order to "cope with heartbreak" (his own words). 🤨

He definitely handled things very well considering all of the things he was going through at the time, but he definitely was not himself for a lot of 2019 and part of 2020, and anyone who just looks at his old footage and pictures from that time period will be able to easily see what I mean.
