still thinking abt the fact that like. they haven’t been playing Any songs for the 8 ball from post-hiatus Except a stardust song, they haven’t been playing any songs that haven’t been played in like less than a decade. and at MY show, they played the first post-hiatus song that was last played Only 5 years ago and it was. MY song. the kids aren’t alright. out of dozens and dozens of songs they could’ve done… they did Mine. stuff with me and fob has always felt indescribably fateful and This just. took That and how i feel abt them and their music to a whole other level Somehow. i have never felt more seen and heard, i Always go back to the hanif abdurraqib quote, “No matter how obsessed you've been with your own vanishing, there will always be someone who wants you whole” and i like. have never felt more loved and wanted and seen and heard than i did with them playing that, especially after ive struggled so much recently with wanting to vanish seeing my favorite song of All Time live, a song about life being worth living because of who you live it with, is absolutely everything to me. which might be soooooo parasocial or whatever the fuck but i dont care i am still so so happy and i love fall out boy so fucking much <3
