Hi! I love the way you write Itto :). Could you please write a fluff scenario of Itto x gn!reader spending Christmas together? 🎄

As soon as December hits, something just overcomes Itto.
The man is gonna deck the halls so hard that even Santa will shed a single manly tear. There's no escaping the festivities, especially since you're his partner in crime this year.
It's like a damn speedrun. Cozy sweaters, CHECK. Decorations, CHECK. Egg, NOGGED. Hot Chocolate, GUZZLED. Carols, BELTED. Gingerbread house, DESTROYED.
By the time Christmas rolls around you are beat. At this point the holiday spirit is running through your veins. But at the end of the day, seeing the joy that it brings to the goofy oaf next to you makes it almost worth it.... almost.
"Alright! Next up is the ultimate snowball battle for the ages! Then we gotta- " Your hand quickly covered the oni's mouth, preventing him from saying another word.
"Hold up, I thought we did those things already?" You questioned while raising an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Yeah, but today's Christmas." Itto explained. "It's the big day so we gotta go out with a bang! All the greatest hits in one epic marathon!" He looked so rearing to go that you could almost get swept up in his boundless determination. Your aching muscles reminded you that you COULD NOT take another day running around Inazuma yelling out Christmas carols and double fisting hot coco.
"You want a finale? Alright then, how about a new exciting experience?" You stepped up, hoping Itto would take the bait. He looked at you as though he was mulling it over, gears cranking in his head.
"Oh yeah? Then whats this grand finale of yours? It's a pretty big order to top my masterfully crafted Christmas extravaganza." Itto challenged meanwhile looking quite proud of himself.
"Well you're just going to have to trust me and see." You taunted, knowing full well that the oni's curiosity would get the better of him. So when you grabbed your coat and headed out, it wasn't a question whether the other was following.
Itto tried his best to remain aloof but you could feel anticipation radiating off the boy. You had to make sure not to skimp him on all the experiences that the holidays had to offer. But before you arrived, you instructed the tall man cover his eyes and led him to stand exactly where you wanted him.
"Alight, open!" You smiled as the hand covering Itto's eyes swung away in excitement. He eagerly looked around and took in the beautiful surroundings. The bustling city really was a sight to behold. From the top tier of stairs you could see the lights that twinkled on every store front and white fluffy snow blanket every surface. Intricate decorations were strung across the main road while last minute shoppers scurried on below it. Laughter, music, and wishes of good faith fill the air.
"I gotta give you, this is a great view, buuuuut....." Itto wore a victorious smile. "I can't say it's a new mind blowing experience. I know it's hard to believe that the great leader of the Arataki gang has done it all but-"
"Ah ah ah, the view wasn't the finale." You interrupted, taking an extra step so you were almost eye level with the large man. You pointed upward to guide Itto's gaze. Affixed to the red arch above you was a dainty mistletoe. The oni's crimson eyes locked onto the small plant while his jaw hung slightly jar. The light pink on his cheeks from the nipping cold quickly began to spread and deepen.
"I - ahhhh HAHAH. I mean I CaN- Do you uh?" Itto's words fumbled from his mouth in half formed thoughts. His wide eyes darted back and forth from you to the mistletoe. You chuckled and although you enjoyed the antics of the flustered boy, you were merciful enough to not let him flounder for too long. It was the holidays after all.
"Merry Christmas Itto." You whisper to him while using your newly gained height to lessen the distance. Your hands gripped onto the front of his ugly sweater to pull him closer until lips met. Itto's arms were quick to envelope you into a warm embrace which was nice in contrast to the chilling temperature.
It wasn't long before you were overtaken, Itto held you even closer and his lips lingered on yours. You broke, leaning back in his arms to breath and then giggle when the oni simply opted to start peppering kisses all over your face. Itto pulled back to look at you, his dopey grin held so much affection that you could practically feel your heart melting away in your chest. Okay, maybe putting up with the oni's crazy agenda was worth it..... sometimes.
Tumblr media
<A/N: I am sorry if this seems a little rushed. (please excuse any mistakes) I thought I'd have more time and wanted to get this out before Christmas lol. I LOVE ITTO SO MUCH OK.>

EAH Dorm Headcanons pt 20
Gus & Northwind
One’s a lost traveler with a taste for candy and the other’s a snow for brains ex- criminal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gus and Northwind have a lot in common: both are bad boys (not in the traditional way) and lackeys to their female relatives. I honestly think they would get along pretty well as roommates and vent about how they are sidekicks and how they don't get much respect. The only time they argue is when sweets are involved but get over it very quickly.
Gus's side of the dorm:
Tumblr media
Gus is the future Gretal, and he has a rep around the school for his sweet tooths and lies. The Crumb cousins are Headmaster Grimm’s lackeys and will worship him to levels even Apple White won’t cross. When, the cousins aren’t following the headmaster you can find them antagonizing students with evil destinies (Raven & Ginger) or stuffing their faces with sweets.
Tumblr media
I can see the decor on Gus’s side of the dorm similar to gingerbread house (heck, might even be made of gingerbread), with candy and pastry themed furniture that lean heavily on the pastel color scheme.
Tumblr media
Gus has a wall of canisters filled with candy. Helga makes it clear that no one is allowed to h candy except for Helga and Northwind. Helga mainly takes most of it while Northwind will trade for use of his hot chocolate maker.
Tumblr media
With how much Gus pulls on his eyes I can see him having a collection of mud masks on his vanity to avoid wrinkles.
Tumblr media
Gus has a mini fridge store his candy and other sweets.
He uses the floorboards to hide snacks and has many hiding places on his side of the dorm.
In the books Helga and Gus had green in their color scheme and hiking boots before they appeared in the show. So, there are hints of green in the furniture and a huge hiking boot collection.
Northwind's side of the dorm:
Tumblr media
Northwind is a snow elf who spent his days along with his sister, Jackie, working at a snowflake factory that was extremely boring for the two. The two tried to take over the kingdom in 'Epic Winter' only to fail. Sometime later the two were given a second chance (like Courtly) to either continue being prisoners at The Top of the World or attend Ever After High School and do community service there (they picked the latter). At first, Northwind was hesitant to attend Ever After High School and being separated from his sister. Overtime, Northwind embraced his new school and decided to complete his community service at school. Northwind was the Jackie decided to stay at Ever After High School.
Tumblr media
Northwind has great pride in his culture, so he wears traditional 'The Top of the World' clothing and brings trinkets to remind him of home.
Northwind's room is a mix of furniture from home and throne furnishing as a way to experiment with his new surroundings.
Tumblr media
With how chill Northwind is I can see him with a hammock instead of a bed.
Tumblr media
Northwind is very clumsy, so Jackie put a bunch of babyproof things in his room to both protect him and because she gets a kick out of it! When Jackie found out Northwind got a hammock instead of a regular bed she made sure the bottom of it was lined with mats and pillows.
Tumblr media
Seeing how sporty his outfit is, I can see Northwind being into Winter sports like snowboarding, skiing, bobsledding, and etc. so he keeps sports equipment in his dorm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Due to their ability to transform into animals the twins don’t have pets, but if they did it would be penguins (because they look like tiny butlers).
Tumblr media
Northwind owns a coffee/ hot chocolate machine that he keeps in his dorm, he'll let Gus use it in exchange for some candy.

It was time for some presents! For Striker; Fizz had send him two letters. One had card which was shaped like a cowboy hat, on the other side was somewhat heart waming thank you letter for him to kidnap the jester, and still bringing him and Blitz back together. The other letter was bit more thicker. It did contain a gift. If you opened it, it turned out to be a glitter bomb mixed up with itching powder. For Chaz; Fizz had never seen the guy, but had some random gifts at his house he decided to deliver in a random address just for fun. There was a letter that said this was from 'Secret Santa'. There was a box which had a small plastic bag with battery inside and a note that said 'Gift not included'. There were also a water bottle and the etiquette said "Melted Snowman". There were also small box of home made gingerbread hearts in the gift box. Too bad those were made by Fizz so they didn't taste as good as they looked. For Robo Fizz; For his robot counterpart Fizz had bought a custom made jester outfit to wear. Not only the outfit but few new pairs of heart shaped shades and a card that said "Merry Sinsmas, hope your next year will be as epic as this one" For Ozzie; This was a gift he had to give him face to face. Fizz was holding a self wrapped package in his hands, with a wide grin on his face. "Merry Sinsmas Ozzie! Hope you like it, if not I'll throw myself out of this building" he was joking tho.. maybe. The gift included custom made bathrobe that were purpleish-blue colored. Ozzie's name was embroided on the back of the bathrobe. There were also some different sented fizzy bathbombs in there.
Striker
The cowboy was quite surprised he got anything from someone who he pointed a gun to last time they saw eachother, and while the cowboy hat shape was a bit on the nose, he supposed it was a thank you either way, which he appreciated despite the odd circumstances of it. With the other letter he felt it over and the powdery contents made him suspicious so the moment he pulled the letter open he covered it with his hat, thankfully saving most of him from the blast, but also covering his favorite hat in glitter and itching powder "SATAN DAMNITT HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WASH THIS NOW!? THIS ISN'T FUNNY!!!"Everyone around him heavily disagreed.
Tumblr media
Chaz
Chaz was pleasantly surprised at the random package, chuckling a bit at the battery one, getting the joke and the battery itself came in handy for the TV remote, so he didn't need to stop posing sexily on the couch to change stuff. The water he downed quickly due to his constant need for fluids, not even noticing the label, and same with the Gingerbread cookies, which he quickly regretted not having water right there to wash them down, so he did get up after all.
Tumblr media
Robofizz
The moment he was alone he happily twirled with the outfit held to their chest, giggling, smiling at the letter, quickly trying the outfit to his further pleasure, adjusting them to his likes before putting some of the shades on, doing a selfie with the letter with a grin and posting it with the caption "Right back at you Handsome!" Making sure to at Fizz. Overall a present he really liked., Totally something he will wear a lot.
Tumblr media
Ozzie
"I really do wish you wouldn't joke like that Fizzy, but I'll see it, I'm sure I'll love it anyway". The sin opens the package and unfurls the robe, jaw dropping before he giggles in happiness, slinging it on over his clothes with a smile "Oh this is beautiful Fizzy! You really do spoil me"Ozzie says, spinning around to see how it twirls, chuckling cause he loves it so much, before noticing the Fizzy bath bombs in the package, chuckling before he smirks, tossing one up and grabbing it mid air "Fizzy Bathbombs, cute~ But there's one kind of Fizz I'd want in the bath with me even more, I think you know him~"The sin said, bending down to cup Fizz's face with a warm smile, though with a bit of lewdness to it to. Sin of Lust and all.

Excitement About 30 Best Gluten
Gluten free pudding dishes are my favored kind to create. I've adored my Biscuit Dough for thus long, and I assume the time I devoted trying out on this biscuit money additionally created it much easier to whip up one more dessert that I enjoy to whip up. So, at least I understood I really wanted to help make it once. These biscuits are definitely the excellent mix to whip up your next treat, either at house or as part of a larger foodie excursion to the shops. Making wanton reward with better for you substances is one of my beloved previous times. It takes just five moments and is a perfect area to finish one of your lunch or dinner in the early morning. The first I made was pasta, which is like, a perfect dessert that will definitely truly happen with each other after you have completed creating it. I was thus amazed with how I discovered myself producing pasta a few weeks earlier, then attempted performing it again when I started producing it in the summer season. Today, I rounded up some of my preferences! My new preferred food items is salmon, a extremely new, gorgeous eco-friendly tossed salad that's produced coming from new salmon. My most recent preferred meal is this impressive food from Sweet Spot Kitchen, the new proprietor of the Supernova House in Denver's Lakeview community. The cooking area is complete of impressive meals and fantastic neighborhood food items and cocktails. Take a instant to stop in and get a bite! Desk of Contents: Sweet Gluten Free Breads Fun Gluten Free Bars Appetizing Gluten Free Cookies The Best Gluten Free Brownies Gluten Free Cakes and Cupcakes It’s no trick I have a Significant delightful pearly white. My GF's are impressive and everyone coming from kids to moms are therefore good to me. I believe I'm perfect for these cookies and pie because the sweet taste of chocolate, cream and sugar-cinnamon creates them thus really good to me to sample.
Tumblr media
Every full week I’m brainstorming what my latest dessert creation will definitely be. What I'd like to hear and what individuals claim… I'm sure there are actually numerous recipes, but who would have assumed that an fascination with a brand new type of pudding could be therefore essential and crucial. And thus I made a decision to go all out (at minimum I wished therefore). I started through creating a collection of recipes located around a lot of different styles of cheesecake. Blessed for you, I made this epic 50+ roundup of all my favorite gluten free dessert dishes for you to look through and enjoy! Listed here's the hyperlink to my spectacular dish and check out it out by filling your day! We possess an additional roundup every full week in the happening months, so perhaps this year will certainly be simpler! If you're looking ahead to attempting, please reached me up on Twitter @papadoodle for everyday updates and updates! Am I going to cease developing pleasant delight anytime quickly? I will take these biscuits coming from you and provide them to you! I have tried so numerous cheesecake tastes over the years (I really love cheesecake, dark chocolate, milk delicious chocolate tastes). Why can easilyn't I continue that? I'm a cheesecake lover and only can easilyn't feel some of you made an effort a preferred one. No one is worthy of to be in a place where cheesecake is enabled in the treat aisle. I’ll possibly incorporate to this list overtime and continue this comprehensive checklist of gluten free of charge pudding dishes. I've never ever once attempted to take my other half to a vegan or gluten totally free restaurant or spot because once it was certainly there, I'd leave behind because the owner of the food items had to rest at it and was the only person included. I was the only one who would attempt to point out my name once I was in the kitchen space. Whether you’re producing a wonderful breadstuff like banana bread or gingerbread or you need to have some birthday cupcakes, you’ll locate a dish listed here for all your gluten complimentary baking requirements! When chatting about how quick and easy it would be to make gluten free of charge bread, I’m chatting regarding gluten free baking! It's a very basic process and I strongly encourage that you’t create it as easy as feasible so that you can easily cook up something you don't consume! To be sincere, I could possibly probably add 50 additional pudding dishes to this listing but I hit 50 recipes and it experienced….like…my soul was competing. Therefore I decided to publish as lots of as I can on my Instagram because I'm just not that in to meals. I was presuming concerning doing something that would definitely transform the tables on you individuals; food items blogging, therefore I specified out to help make meals blogging my means. So, I really hope you discover a brand new favorite dish! My brand new favorite recipe is phoned a "Budger" which means "budgie" in German. It's kind of like a bougèvre, but a lot stronger (and much healthier) due to the fungus/oil in it. The budger, is a routine component of Dutch food. I’m cracking this list of gluten complimentary treat into breadstuffs, bars, biscuits, brownies and cakes. It's like my grandmother's dish! Source soooo effortless! All we need is butter and a handful of glucose (or two tbsps) if we require it and butter if the sauce needs a little bit of bit extra. You may incorporate a handful of sugar (or a bit of dairy or apple cider white vinegar) or just a dash of salt. If you’ve made any of these recipes leave me a review under along with your favored dessert coming from the list and what dishes you can’t wait to create! Thus, if you presume these are worth duplicating, take a appeal at our previous posts and look how these pointers all operated for us. If you've produced many of these styles of pudding before I wrote about them, allow's include some more facts on those dishes.

Ho ho HAHAHAHAHA!
It’s Christmastime, whump community! And Saint Whumpolas, patron saint of whump, is looking forward to the fun! If you’re sighing at how un-whumpy the presents under your tree seem to be, if your gingerbread dungeon dreams became a plain old gingerbread house, if your stocking isn’t stuffed with hurt and maybe some comfort…then this is the event for you!
This is Saint Whumpolas’ Whumpy Secret Santa, a whump community event where whump creators anonymously gift writing/art to each other and try to guess who’s got who!
How It Works:
Step 1. Sign up for the event by December 5th
Step 2. Get assigned a fellow whump blog to make something for
Step 3. Send in your whump creation to Saint Whumpolas
Step 4. Saint Whumpolas will deliver all the presents on Christmas Eve! Try to guess which whump blog created a gift for you, and see your gift blog’s reaction to the present you made for them!
The Rules
• I’m cutting sign-ups off at midnight Mountain Time on December 5th. If we end up with an odd number of blogs, I’ll jump in to make sure everyone gets a gift- if you’d like to also volunteer to be on emergency standby instead of/in addition to signing up to make and receive a gift, let me know!
• Please don’t sign up if you can’t make something- we want everyone to get a gift!
• From December 5th on, you’ll get an ask in your inbox from this blog, letting you know who you’re making a gift for, their favorite tropes, and their dislikes/squicks- PLEASE MIND THEIR DISLIKES/SQUICKS. It will not be fun to get a triggering gift on Christmas. You don’t necessarily have to adhere to their favorite tropes, but keep them in mind as you write/draw/whatever.
• The deadline for gifts is at midnight Mountain Time on Christmas Eve. PLEASE HAVE YOUR GIFTS SENT IN BY THEN.
• Since part of the fun is going to be guessing who made each gift, please don’t post your gifts publicly! I’ll provide an email for you to send them to, and I’ll post them on this blog- the gift in your inbox will be the link to your present! (After the event is over and you’ve been guessed/revealed yourself, feel free to post your creation- gift blogs, you can absolutely reblog your gift once you’ve gotten it!)
• I’m gonna say that since this is a Christmas event, gifts must be SFW.
• I’m also gonna say that since this is my first go-round hosting an event, we’re gonna keep it to OC whumpees only for this year. It could get tricky if someone gets asked to write a fanfiction for a fandom they know nothing about, so for this year, OCs only.
• Minimum word count for writers is 500. You can go over as far as you want- I’m sure people would love to get a Lord Of The Rings-length epic in their inbox- but please have at least 500 words for your gift. I don’t know enough about art to put anything specific down for artists, but if you participate please make sure to put a little effort into your gift! (A meme you spent two minutes photoshopping, for example, does not count as a gift. Drawings, doodles, moodboards, comics- all acceptable.)
• For the first…hmm…fifty people to sign up, I will try to match you with a blog who shares your interests (that’s twenty-five pairs.) After that, it’ll be randomly assigned, just so I don’t get overwhelmed.
• Clearing up a few things: your gift is supposed to be a thing you make, be it art or writing or whatever, using your gift blog’s OCs. You’re basically gifting them fanfiction/fanart, and receiving fanfiction/fanart in return. Also, the blog you gift to will not be the same blog you receive a gift from. That way we keep the mystery bit.
• One more thing: I’ve gotten a couple asks and messages now from whump blogs who don’t use OCs. I’m not trying to exclude you guys. If I repeat this event next year I’ll make sure to come up with a way for y’all to join in. This year, though, I just can’t make that work- I have a lot going on, and I think keeping it to OCs only for this year will help me not get overloaded- the last thing I want is to have five hundred or more blogs sign up, get overwhelmed, and shut the whole thing down because I can’t handle that much this year. That being said, I have no problem if someone wants to set up a version of this for fandom whump creators this year. Y’all deserve Christmas fun too, and I’m sorry that I can’t be the one making that happen this Christmas. Next year if I repeat this, I’ll fix it so that it’s all one big event!
• Use this Google form to sign up!
Merry Christmas and happy whumping!

5x10 thoughts and meta
So @wanderingwomanwondering wrote a great 4 part post about 5x10 and then asked me about my thoughts on the pooling blood references and the gingerbread house and gingerbread man and I had a lot so its ended up as its own post!! hopefully it sparks some more thoughts!
So pooling blood first! The two references to pooling blood are interesting because of the accidents they’re mentioned in - Arthurs and Melias - but the thing is there no sign of blood pooling in either incident. I feel like that’s an important point - the lack of blood pooling - the absence of both a physical representation and symptoms - notably Eddie doesn’t have any panic attacks during these incidents.
One of the things that occurred to me while i was mulling it over was that actually the Arthur story ties in pretty well with the Shannon of it all - both of them are hit by motor vehicles (the one that hit Shannon was red interestingly enough!!) and actually they’re lying on the ground in similar positions as well. While Shannon doesn’t have two families - when she dies she’s made a choice between two lives - the one with a family and the one without - she chose the one without because ultimately she loved that more and ended up loosing her life. Arthur doesn’t get to chose between his two families because they both leave him and create a new defect family of their own because they choose to put the children first and place the blame where it should be - with Arthur instead of with each other. while I’ve been typing this its occurred to me that this mirrors Eddie as well - he thinks he has to make a choice between his two families but ultimately (an he’s not there yet - but I have a feeling he’ll realise it in 5b) he’s going to find that a new family which is a blend of the original two minus the baggage (read his PTSD etc) which is weighing him down is actually what’s best for both him and for Christopher. (I know I could’ve written this far more eloquently, but it is 1am so that’s my excuse!
The Melia one s a little less clear for me, but the absence of Eddie is intriguing - its like the intention was to point out the Buck side of pooling blood - he experienced it too - in his own way and ended up with Eddies blood on him. its making me thing that because they were both present at the Arthur incident, but only But was present at the Melia one, what we should be thinking about is that the Arthur incident (with its theme of two) represents the shooting itself - both Buck and Eddie were present and an active part of it. Eddie in being the one who got shot and Buck as the one rescuing him - while the Melia incident is the representation of the immediate aftermath. Eddie played no role in this because he was in surgery and his survival wasn’t guaranteed - but Buck was an active participant - he was the one who still had eddies blood on him and he was the one who had to tell Christopher. I could go into more depth on this but like I said above - its 1am and my brain can’t manage more at this moment!
Gingerbread houses - first an aside to say Christopher my man you are an epic decorator of a gingerbread house - because it looked amazing! For some reason, gingerbread houses always make me think of Hansel and Gretal and this amused me because the ice skaters from 3x08 were playing Hansel and Gretal and they were fighting because the’d split up and one of them was leaving - remind you of anyone? Yes me to - Eddie and Shannon! Anyway back to the gingerbread house itself - wanderingwomanwondering I agree with everything you put about the house and the flood of hot coco they’re fragile and brittle and easy to break down - the perfect description for the house that Eddie and Shannon built - looked pretty (read; conforming to societal expectations of the nuclear family!) but ultimately made of little substance.
when Eddie build his new house, it will be on his terms and therefore stronger, because he won’t be conforming to the ideals of others!
Melia and Marco and the gingerbread man air freshener - I see so many parallels with Buck and Eddie in this story - beyond the super obvious ones that have already been pointed out. wanderingwomanwondering is of the opinion that the air freshener, could be representative of Buck and her take makes total sense - I can see exactly where she’s coming from and I would probably draw the same conclusions, if, I hadn’t already come up with a slightly different theory! The reason my theory is different - costuming (and a little bit of camera work, the script and the music!!).
Ok so let’s do the camera stuff first - think back to 2x03 and Buck driving Eddie to pick Christopher up after the earthquake - which side of the car was the camera? yes the same one as the 5x10 scene of Marco getting into the car - on Bucks side - its like an uno reverso if you will - so in 2x03 Eddie gets out of the car on the camera side and runs into the school to get Chris, while Buck looks on. in 5x10 we have the opposite - Marco (Buck) is the one getting into the car on the opposite side to where the camera is positioned while Melia (Eddie) is sat there waiting. When the camera angle changes so the little winking gingerbread man - why is he winking unless its meant to be a cheeky aside to the audience (and I’m thinking specifically us in the Buddie fandom but that could just be me doing some A+ level clowning!!) - is front and centre with the camera pulling him into focus at the end of the scene.
Music wise the fact that the line ‘I made my baby cry’ is being sung as the camera pulls focus onto the gingerbread man is interesting to me and another reason why I think the gingerbread man is not buck! and then there is the script - takeout and a movie - something the Buckley-Diaz family unit likes to do!
Onto the costumes now. I’ve spoken at length about the use of blue tops in relation to Eddie and Buck and fulfilling a parental/fatherly role and here we have two characters both dressed in blue - one in dark blue and one in light blue. Some of the other meaning associated with the colour blue - especially light blue is trust responsibility and loyalty - all things I would say are representative of Eddies personality. Light blue is also a colour used to reduce stress and that’s what Eddies leaving the 118 is supposed to achieve for both him and Christopher.
Marco is in dark blue and also has a spotted blue shirt on under his jumper - who have we seen recently sporting a blue shirt with a pattern similar to dots? Well both Eddie and Buck actually - Buck in the ily scene from 5x09 and then Eddie when Chris has his nightmare earlier in this episode. Melia is in light blue, but the most important thing - her right arm is in a sling - mirroring Eddies right arm being in a sling post the shooting. What all this means to me is that the strong connections to Buck as Marco and Melia as Eddie means the gingerbread man cannot be either of them. The gingerbread man is also located between them - he is front and centre and what is the one thing front and centre for both Buck and Eddie - Christopher - He is the most important thing to both of them - he both connects them, and at this moment, is the catalyst that is going to divide them.
let me know if you think I’ve lost the plot and if the wheels have come off my clown car - my inbox is always open and I love hearing from you!

Homebruin - College of Confectionery
Tumblr media
Hullo, Gentle Readers! It’s time for another Homebruin article, where I create anything from the ridiculous to the sublime to add to your D&D game. This week, I’m choosing one from one of our contest entries, inspired a bit by the sweets we’ll soon be eating for the holidays. This suggestion came from catching-fire-in-the-wind, who suggested the idea of a bard subclass devoted to being a chef. Specifically, they suggested, “ A bard subclass entirely devoted to being a chef—their spells are candy themed and their inspiration is giving someone a cake or a gingerbread house. I feel like that's about as feywild as you can get.”
The more I thought about this, the more I found myself influenced by Willy Wonka, so don’t be surprised if that sneaks into what I’ve created here in some subtle and not-so-subtle ways. After all, if anyone can be a bard in D&D, the Candyman can!
As usual, be aware that this material is totally untested, and I have no idea of game balance issues. I’m pretty experienced, so I think it’s fairly well-balanced, but some tweaking may be necessary. Unfortunately, I was again unable to upload this to D&D Beyond, but here it is in its entirety. If you chose to use it, it should be easy enough to add.
For some bards, art doesn't have to be an epic performance in front of a crowd or a song that sings down through the ages. To the bards of the College of Confectionery, the ephemeral art of making something sweet and the joy of giving it to someone and having them enjoy it is every bit as magical. Often sought after by nobles, wizards, and warlords alike for their talents, these sweet-toothed and sweet-talking individuals spread pleasure through the land by distributing their sugared creations.
These bards often have a keen sense of justice, knowing that naughty people who can't follow rules don't necessarily deserve the treats they offer. Some of them wander the land in disguise, doling out their treats to astonished folk to enjoy. Others shut themselves in reclusive haunts, forcing those who want their sweetmeats to seek them out and prove themselves worthy.
Occasionally, a handful of these bards gather to swap stories and recipes. When they take to the adventuring life, it's often in search of new experiences and new ingredients to inform their candy-making. They might visit festivals, adding their bit of enchantment to even the most mundane candy apples.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Confectionery at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with some of the tools of the trade (Brewer's Supplies and Cook's Utensils) and pick up the ability to forage for ingredients, represented by the Survival skill. Brewer's Supplies? you ask. Of course! Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker!
Candymaker
At third level, you have the ability to literally make magic with your cooking and drinks. As an action, you can expend a spell slot to store a spell that you know with a casting time of no more than one action in a baked good, drink, candy, or other non-magical consumable. You can then offer this to someone else to keep and use as a bonus action on their turn. Because you can't help but savor your own creation, if you consume your own confection, the casting time for the spell is as it normally would be.
If you take a long rest, the confection becomes non-magical and any spells that you have stored in this manner are lost, and you regain your spell slots normally. After all, treats are best when they're fresh!
Sweeten a Sour Moment
Sometimes a spoonful of sugar can really help a bad moment improve. When a creature adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to its ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll fails, the creature can keep the Bardic Inspiration die.
Sugared Tongue
It's hard to disagree when you're enjoying a sweet. When you make a Charisma (Persuasion) or Charisma (Deception) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
Spread the Joy
The nicest thing about sweets and candy is how much fun it is to share them. Starting at 14th level, when a creature within 60 feet of you adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to its ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll succeeds, you can use your reaction to encourage a different creature (other than yourself) that can hear you within 60 feet of you, giving it a Bardic Inspiration die without expending any of your Bardic Inspiration uses.
You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Steggy + Old Guard AU? Also hi! So happy you're back! Hope you're good!
The sun won’t come up over the snowy mountains for almost another hour, and the rooftop is drenched in chilly violet shadows, the narrow cobbled street below still almost entirely black. Streetlamps burn in amber orbs that cast eerie halos, and Steve’s breath gusts in clouds of silver whenever he exhales. He’s been sitting up here for hours, keeping a sharp eye on the plaza below, and even the twin blessings of super-soldier serum and functional immortality don’t make it any less damn cold. He might break off little bits when he stands up.
Steve blows on his hands and shifts his position. This isn’t any worse than some of his more rugged escapades with the Howling Commandos, and at least a hot drink isn’t too far away. They’ve been in Sokovia for almost three weeks, tracking the elusive Baron Strucker and his rumored Hydra base, and the inland Balkans in January are not exactly a summer vacation. Indeed, far from it. Sokovia is a tiny ex-Soviet breakaway republic that sits in the shadow of the forbidding Rila Mountains, roughly equidistant from Bulgaria, Serbia, and Macedonia. Nobody informed Steve beforehand that the lowest temperature recorded here at this time of year was twenty-three below zero Fahrenheit.
He’s properly shivering by the time there’s a sound behind him, he turns, and sees Peggy, clad in fatigues, parka, beret, and boots, an AK-47 slung over her shoulder. She crosses the rooftop and sits down next to him, and Steve immediately scoots in, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. He presses his cold face to the back of her warm neck, and Peggy bites a yelp. “So that’s why you’re so pleased to see me,” she whispers, pulling the rifle off her back and holding it ready in her lap. Even a large and (self-servingly, but still) amorous lover cannot distract Margaret Carter from the mission. “Arse.”
Steve can’t deny it, so he shrugs. Then again, it’s been like this for almost seventy-five years, since his first death in 1945, when he crashed the plane into the ice and for some reason, entirely aside from the effects of Erskine’s serum, he didn’t die. Or rather he did, but then he woke up, and it’s happened several times since. Then there was Peggy’s first death-not-a-death in 1947, when the Zero Matter should have killed her – did kill her, actually, and then –
Just as Steve is about to enquire whether there are any other methods of keeping warm while they wait, there’s a sound on the street below. Sokovia’s old town is a picture-perfect Eastern European chocolate box, with red steeples and gingerbread houses, but it’s broken by shouting, dark sprinting figures, and a ruckus that shatters the predawn stillness. Steve leaps to his feet, ready to plunge off the roof and join the fray, but even with his enhanced reflexes, Peggy manages to be faster. She goes to one knee, slams the rifle against her shoulder, closes one eyes, sights down the barrel, and fires.
One of the dark figures turns a boneless somersault and hits the deck, as Peggy jacks out the spent cartridge and prepares to fire again. By that time Steve is already leaping, cold air whistling past his ears as he plunges past an elegant iron-work balcony and lands on the icy stones. A few frenzied minutes later, it’s all over, and as they both breathe hard and turn to each other, Steve and Bucky quickly assess that the other is still in one piece. Then another shadow swoops out of the chilly sky, lands, folds in his metal wings, and says, sounding a little miffed, “You guys know I had that covered, right?”
“Morning to you too.” Steve raises an eyebrow at Sam Wilson. He’s the youngest immortal of the team; he joined them in 1995, which means that Steve has now had to endure a full twenty-three years of his bickering foreplay with Bucky and arguments about whether to move the goddamn seat up. But at last they seem to be getting somewhere, because if they don’t sneak off and hook up in the dingy hotel bathroom after this, Steve will eat his entire Captain America uniform. Hilariously, Sam and Bucky steadfastly believe a) that they are being discreet and still totally acting like they hate each other, and b) that Steve and Peggy have no idea what is going on between them. Steve loves them both dearly, but no one ever said they were geniuses.
“You know,” Bucky shoots back at Sam. “If Zemo’s still looking for us, maybe you shouldn’t fly around in the open like a – ”
Sam rolls his eyes. “It’s called tactics. If we can draw him out, then – ”
Steve waits patiently for them to proceed through this stage. They’ve been after Helmut Zemo, the dangerous Sokovian leader of the Echo Scorpion paramilitary squad, who might have intel that can lead them to Strucker, and by the sounds of things, they argued the whole way. Then Peggy joins the party, not-so-clandestinely rolling her eyes. Living with three large immortal men who like to blow things up and repress their feelings like champions can be a call for a lot of that. “Good morning, gentlemen,” she barks, making Steve, Bucky, and Sam snap reflexively to attention. “Are we ready to go?”
“Yes, ma’am,” Bucky says meekly. “Yes, we’re ready.”
With that, the team hurries up the street, staying low and keeping to the shadows. As they climb, Steve whispers pointedly to Bucky, “So how are things between you and Sam?”
“Fine.” Bucky determinedly keeps his eyes forward. It’s still sometimes miraculous that they have him back – after his first death in 1944 and the years he spent as the terrifying Winter Soldier, everything that Steve and Peggy went through to rescue and deprogram him, the fact that Steve can do anything so simple as tease him about a crush. “Why?”
“Mm. No reason.”
Steve must say this a little too angelically, because Bucky gives him some epic side-eye. “You’re a jerk,” he says, offering Steve a hand up the steep embankment. “Know that?”
“Punk.” Steve grips hold and lets Bucky lift him. He’s trying to say that it’s fine, that Bucky and Sam don’t have to hide, that he’s nothing but happy for them, and he hopes they feel safe enough to be together, whatever and however that may be. The four of them love each other in a way that literally transcends time and death, that will exist far beyond whatever they leave behind, whenever they finally do so. Their little immortal family out here in the world, doing their best to make it a better place, one day, one battle at a time. Always.
They reach the top of the street and look for a new route back to their safe house, where they can change clothes and get some strong coffee and continue the search for Strucker and Hydra. As Bucky marches ahead, clearly to save himself from any more probing questions about his relationship status, Peggy comes up next to Steve and slips her arm through his, with a look suggesting that she too has no objections to burning off post-battle adrenaline in a more intimate way. “They still think we’ve got no clue,” she says knowingly. “Don’t they?”
“Yeah.” Steve smiles at her, and she smiles back. “Let’s get going.”

EAH Dorm Headcanons pt 19
Helga & Jackie
One's a lost traveler with a sweet tooth and the other's a cold-hearted ex- criminal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both these girls have mean streaks in them! While Helga will lie and act all innocent, Jackie will be straight forward and take anything from you by force or trickery.
I honestly believe Helga & Jackie would not get along due to both are the leaders of their duos and would butt heads with one another.
Helga's side of the dorm:
Tumblr media
Helga is the future Hansel, and she has a rep around the school for her sweet tooths and lies. The Crumb cousins are Headmaster Grimm's lackeys and will worship him to levels even Apple White won't cross. When, the cousins aren't following the headmaster you can find them antagonizing students with evil destinies (Raven & Ginger) or stuffing their faces with sweets.
Tumblr media
I can see the decor on Helga's side of the dorm similar to gingerbread house (heck, might even be made of gingerbread), with candy and pastry themed furniture that lean heavily on the pastel color scheme.
Helga has many antique gumball machines and canisters filled with candy. Helga makes it clear that no one is allowed to her candy except for Gus, even then she is stingy with her treats.
Tumblr media
With all the yelling she does, Helga has cough drops in her dorm. On hand for when she feels her throat going raw.
Tumblr media
Helga totally has a mini fridge -No! A full-size fridge in her dorm to store her candy and other sweets.
She uses the floorboards to hide snacks and has many hiding places on her side of the dorm.
In the books Helga and Gus had green in their color scheme and hiking boots before they appeared in the show. So, there are hints of green in the furniture and a huge hiking boot collection.
Jackie's side of the dorm:
Tumblr media
Jackie is a snow elf who spent her days along with her brother Northwind working at a snowflake factory that was extremely boring for the two. The two tried to take over the kingdom in 'Epic Winter' only to fail. Sometime later the two were given a second chance (like Courtly) to either continue being prisoners at The Top of the World or attend Ever After High School and do community service there (they picked the latter). Jackie only accepted to get away from manual labor (and because Northwind wanted to go).
Tumblr media
Jackie takes great pride and her culture, so she wears traditional 'The Top of the World' clothing and brings trinkets to remind her of home.
Jackie is one of the few students who brought furniture from home to the dorms.
Tumblr media
In her free time see likes to make snow people and other arts and crafts as a hobby she picked up at school.
Tumblr media
Seeing how sporty her outfit is I can see Jackie being into Winter sports like snowboarding, skiing, bobsledding, and etc so she keeps sports equipment in her dorm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Due to their ability to transform into animals the twins don't have pets, but if they did it would be penguins (because they look like tiny butlers).
Tumblr media
Jackie owns a coffee/ hot chocolate machine that she keeps in her dorm (Helga is forbidden to use it).

Thomastair headcanons
These were requested by @aceofjesper I hope you’ll like them!
Christmas is almost over but I’m still in the mood so here are some modern Thomastair Christmas headcanons 🎄
Shadowhunters aren’t really supposed to get involved in mundane festivities, but both Thomas and Alastair just love the mundane Christmas atmosphere. They like to decorate the whole house with Christmas lights, candles, wrapped gifts and mistletoe because of course Thomas needs an excuse to kiss alastair every five minutes
They have this huge Christmas tree that they decorate with hundreds of lights, little fake snowflakes and decorations that their families and friends gifted them over the years
They also love to bake gingerbread cookies while dancing to Christmas playlists. They get lost in each other’s smiles and kisses while dancing around to “All I want for Christmas is you” so the kitchen always gets turned into a mess and the cookies get burnt most of the times
On the evening of Christmas Eve they make two cups of hot chocolate with tons of mini marshmallows and candy canes and they watch “Love Actually”. They’ve watched the movie so may times they could act it out themselves, but they still cry every time they get to the end
On the morning of the 25th Alastair wakes Thomas up with a kiss, a present and a cup of coffee topped with caramel and whipped cream, his favorite
Thomas always buys those ugly matching christmas sweaters with reindeers that sing or elves that lighten up. Needless to say Alastair hates them and pouts every time he finds himself stuck in them. Their hedgehog also ends up with a tiny Santa hat
They also have matching socks with Santa on one foot and Rudolph on the other
They have Christmas dinner with their families and friends which somehow always end up in epic snowball fights in the yard and bets on who can build the biggest snowman

Once Upon A Time Rewatch: 5x12 Souls of the Departed
Tumblr media
Currently reading (well, listening) to The School for Good and Evil Series. It’s so good! It’s basically Wicked the Musical and has a fairy tale element like OUAT. Can’t recommend enough!
I had the weirdest dream last night that Ouat’s Gothel was hiding behind my bed at my old house trying to scare me. She stayed up all night with some blankets, waiting to pounce. Also, she was naked. Jesus Christ, wtf is wrong with my dreams?! I do not see Gothel in that way at all!! I was so freaking disturbed! @fairytalepsuedonym this is all your fault for putting that dirty hippie witch bitch on my mind lol xD! /jk
Also guys, we’re getting Disney+ today. I’m so excited! Let me know if anyone has any recommendations.
And you know what I just thought of? It looked like they were implying that Merida and Lord Macintosh were gonna be a thing (possibly? I think it’s up for interpretation) but he outright shot an arrow at one of her brothers and wanted the others dead too. Merida would never! Her brothers mean too much to her to forgive such a thing. Also, she gives me gay vibes. I don’t make the rules. Alistair makes all the rules.
Back to the rewatch.
Oh yeah! This is the 100th episode! The compilation for 100 episodes was so freaking epic!
Neal! Is that really him though?
She’s staring at his lips lol!
Omg! Emma would have come back for Neal if she could. That means she believes they were true love, and she could have split her heart with him, right?
So, he appeared to her?
Omg! The way Emma is stroking his face and is staring at him, you’d never know she was working on saving her boyfriend lol.
You know what would have been so much better? If the underworld was perpetually dark and foggy (within reason) like the sims 4 Forgotten Hollow. That would have looked so much cooler!
Here comes the red filter. As a gifmaker and even as a viewer I wanna scream every time I see it but at least it’s not the Dark Swan arc.
I said it before and I’ll say it again: they should have let Regina’s and maybe even Rumple’s victims confront them! That would have been interesting to watch play out. I know we got Regina’s dad and Peter Pan but give me a family of Regina’s slaughtered villagers. What would their reaction be to seeing her?
Eww. I hate the way she dips her finger in that pie.
Guys. It doesn’t matter that you have Regina surrounded, she has pyrokinesis and telekinesis! Y’all are screwed! She blew the flames out? She had the advantage! I’m glad she didn’t hurt them of course, but as someone writing a book that consists of characters with magic abilities, you’ve gotta know when a powerful character has the advantage and when to use it. Where was Snow dodging a fireball as one of her arrows flies at Regina and it pauses in mid air only to sore back at Snowing and their friends, but they manage to outsmart her somehow?
Woah. This is the boldest Henry Sr. has ever been. He’s really trying to help Regina out here.
Cora!! My love!! I missed you!!
I love the Blind Witch. Does she have a name? I enjoyed her in ‘Regina Rising.’ I remember she’s quite a bit older than Regina
The Blind Witch: “What can I get you? Do you like gingerbread or children?” Omg Snow’s like “what the actual f**k??”
James, why are you like this?? Get off her, dude.
Those key rings are cool.
Why the hell didn’t Emma just tell Henry she saw his dad? I can think of absolutely no reason why she would keep that from him.
Lately all Robin has done is make random comments pointing out the obvious. “It’s uncanny. It’s so similar yet so off.” Yes, Robin we established that 9 minutes ago. His next line will be, “Goodness, is that a tree over there?” or “Regina, you were the Evil Queen”, mark my words. Where has his personality gone? I was never a big fan but at least he was kinda arrogant and cheeky before, at least in season 2 and 3. Now he’s just a dude that points on the ground and tells you there’s a stone. And they have the chemistry of a banana and a cheese cracker.
“Her puny army of sweaty little child beasts.”
Are those black roses?
I may be wrong but wasn’t Cora trying to get Regina to stop hunting Snow White and find true love instead in 4x20 or am I making things up? And I wonder if this is before or after she appeared in 4x20.
I just love Cora so much.
Is that how she got to the EF in 4x20? Through a looking glass?
The fact that she could so easily cross realms suggests that she willingly gave Regina her space. Which is something! But it feels like she’d have ulterior motives for that. Also Jefferson and Rumple would be screaming if they knew it was that easy to cross realms.
Regina: “are you threatening me?” Cora: “No. Of course not, never.” But you literally are though.
Peter Pan! He was under-utilised this season. Come on! They could have done so much with him! I’m glad at least Cora and Cruella got decent screen time.
Imagine watching OUAT for the first time with this episode and you see this full-grown man refer to a teenage boy as is father. I would be so confused lol.
I wonder if Rumple / Rumple’s father hail from Dunbroch originally. You know, with the Scottish accent. I’m kinda thinking about headcanoning that now. At least, I think Malcolm had a Scottish accent?
That got me! I forgot Cora had glamoured into Henry Sr.! I thought Cora had shapeshifted into Snow to trick Henry.
Oh, so Henry Sr. contacting her was the reason Cora could walk through the looking glass. If only someone had contacted Jefferson. And I’ve just remembered that in 4x20, she said a white rabbit brought her to the EF.
Killian looks creepy as hell here!
Lol Cora, you let Henry wrap the heart? What did you expect to happen!
Why did Regina need Snow’s heart to kill her? She could have easily killed her without even touching her.
What the hell does Snow think is in there? She looks terrified.
Archie, wtf were you doing between Snow’s titties?! And what were you doing with a match? Gonna set some titties on fire xD? I bet she could never look at him the same again.
He doesn’t want Regina to kill Snow because he thinks it will make her dark forever? What about all the other people she’s killed?! That makes no sense!
Okay, given that Grace didn’t seem to physically age much between the flashbacks in 1x17 and the present day in 1x17, this probably happened after the flashback’s events in 4x20.
According to wiki, Regina’s birthday is February 1st. I’m only learning this now.
I’ve never seen Henry Sr. so bold and Adam end to help Regina.
Okay, so Regina shrunk Henry with her magic but she needed a mushroom to return him to his normal size?
Don’t lock him in that box omg!!
Cora: “when are you gonna get it in that thick head...” she’s so casually abusive.
Random thought but why is Henry’s surname Mills? It just seems like it’d be Cora’s surname. Maybe he took hers on but that seems strange for a Prince to do.
Cora, don’t!
Henry’s alright!
Aww. Henry got to meet his 3rd Grandpa! He’s so happy she named him after him.
I’m tearing up.
“Remember who you are, Regina.”
Henry, honey, you need to go home.
Is that Persephone?
Oh my God! I’m so excited for the Cora and Zelena stuff!! By far my favourite thing of the season! To hear Cora say Zelena’s name- the fact she knows her name- I’d waited for so long for this! It left open so many questions!
And Hades infuriated with Cora on the love of his life Zelena’s behalf!! He loved her so much and would do anything for her. I don’t ship it as much as I initially did because of how it ended but that man freaking loved and cherished Zelena. He wanted everything for her. She desperately needed that and it was an emotional experience to see her get it.
That’s like her worst nightmare, being a peasant again.
I can’t with the flame hair.
I forgot this episode was pretty good. I didn’t remember liking it but Cora saved it for me. I forgot she was in it because I have probably watch season 5 the least as I try to avoid it lol.

Does heric do anything special for the holidays?
Mostly just a lot of coziness
they hang out in big comfy sweaters and sit by the fire, sometimes they go out and build snowforts.
even though Eric has a winter coat, he still likes to wear Hosts trenchcoat to keep warm.
they tried to have a snowball fight once but they were both so scared of accidentally hurting the other that they stopped after like 2 minutes
Eric goes into Epic Baking Overdrive Mode™️ when the holidays roll around.
he’s got christmas cookies, he’s got gingerbread houses, he’s got fruitcake, he’s got cinnamon buns, he’s got pies, he-
Host is his taste tester and he l o v e s it.
although eric has to keep reminding him to “stOP EATING THE RAW DOUGH YOURE GONNA GET SALMONELLA”
“salmonella isn’t real. just like gender, time, and the state of missouri.”
“i’m pretty sure at least two of those things are real, honey-“
Eric makes enough stuff during the holidays that the egos could build a second manor out of baked goods if they really wanted to
all the sweets are gone in no time flat but Eric is just glad to make his family happy
every night, Eric and Host curl up on the couch and watch a holiday movie or smth while enjoying some cookies and hot cocoa/cider
they mostly watch the old rankin-bass ones to laugh at the bad animation
(they tried to watch eight crazy nights without knowing anything about it bc it’s like the only hanukkah movie ever but they shut it off almost immediately)
one time after a lot of coercion and bribes of extra cuddle time Host got Eric to open the door to the dining room and yell “WhY wErEn’T yOu At eLf PrAcTiCe?” to everyone in there
that’s right everyone hosty boi is a memelord
anyway all the egos lost it and started laughing their asses off.
“See, The Host told Eric it would be fine.”
anyway
v soft
v good

my season 3 rewatch is proving to be a fascinating ride!
like the themes that are coming back into play for all the characters is just so interesting and intriguing. It’s making me think about what other storylines they’re going to revisit and bring back around.
Even the flipping gingerbread man and house are there!!!!!
Maybe thats why that gingerbread man air freshener was winking at us 😂 I mean 5a has been all about Eddies heart and in 3x08 Gretal’s blade ‘barely missed the heart’ of Hansel (who is propped up against a gingerbread man) followed by Gretal saying ‘he doesn’t have a heart’ and then it turns out shes following her heart by wanting to stay with the guy she loves and they have a whole conversation about being partners and having to trust one another 👀👀
I can’t articulate it very well (or at all!), but just the way its playing out is just so clever, I’m seeing all these possibilities of how things could turn out in 5b that will/could tie into storylines from 3. And the best thing about it is that they’re storylines that felt like they had resolution at the time, but also that they didn’t - that it won’t require retconning to bring them back up again and expand/re-explore them in the same way that trauma and response is non linear and can just pop up again for no apparent reason! It feels like a long game build up in that they were laying some epic foundations in s3 that they’re now exploring in even more detail and in different ways.
I don’t know this is probably super incoherent and a rambling mess but its making me appreciate 5a even more. I already liked 5a because I could see what they’re trying to do and the visceral uncomfortableness of watching some of it is actually very clever as a tool because you attach yourself even more to the characters and their experiences. Its great psychological storytelling to unsettle the audience (provided you get pay off at the end of it all)  in this way - its art mirroring life and art teaching us how to both experience the world and appreciate other peoples experiences of the world..
anywho S3 is still the best season and my rewatch is only reaffirming that!
