This was from around when I first had the pleasure of hearing about Kray's continuity. Cannot for the life of me remember what the conversation was about, but I'm thinking I'm legally obligated to squish the updated design.

And here's a lil abandon project with Kray's Hound, Greenlight and Moonracer also from awhile ago though less so than the Bee. :)

As we approach the 10 year anniversary of Transformers Predacon Rising airing (4th October 2013), thus concluding the journey that was Transformers Prime, I thought it would be fun to share our least favourite lines from the show!

Be it weirdly delivered lines (which we do not blame the VAs for, they did a phenomenal job), poorly written, poorly timed, offensive (or somewhat offensive), out of character- or even lines you just have a deep seated hatred towards, please share!

Bumblebee always considered himself a real energetic bot, no matter what life threw his way he tried his best to remain cheerful and peppy. However, there were days when it felt like life just threw EVERYTHING it had at him suddenly, causing a hectic day for him. First it was go stop a robbery at a bank, then it was pick up Sari from school because Sumdac was busy, after that do routine check up with Ratchet, listen to Ratchet lecture you on getting more sleep and drinking less caffiene, get hit by someone on the road NOT watching where they are going, go see Ratchet again with another lecture and then Optimus tells ya you got monitor duty tonight.

by the time Bee got to sit down and stare at the blank screen in front of him, he felt like his processor was totally fried. Thank primus he took his meds today because if he hadn't he was sure he would explode. It was a hectic day he would get to follow up with a boring night.

Bumblebee was absolutely dreading it and he just tried to get comfortable in his chair and rest his helm against the desk. Maybe if he could fall asleep he could sleep through the entire thing...

"Someone looks tired..."

Bee jumped at the sudden voice before he turned around to see a familiar red optic staring down at him with concern.

"Oh geez mech, don't scare me like that..." Bee huffed, laying his helm back on the table.

"I just wanted to know if you were okay... You look like someone ran you over..."

"Yea well I certainly feel like I was ran over... Thanks for the awesome compliment though."

"Right... Sorry..." Shockwave whispered and Bee sighed.

"No, no don't be... I'm sorry I'm being crabby... I've had a busy day... And not in the fun way." Bee explained. "That's not your fault though... I just can't believe I'm gonna end this night with moniter duty!"

Bee whimpered, shaking his helm sadly before suddenly sitting up as Shockwave's claws wrapped around his shoulders.

"W-woah whatcha doing Shocks?" Bee asked and Shockwave only chuckled.

"I'm trying to get you to relax honeybee. You said you had a terribly busy day so I thought it was the least I could do." Shockwave purred, massaging Bee gently in just the right spot between his shoulder joint and the rest of his frame.

"Oh you don't have to do that b-but... Hah, well don't let me stop you..." Bee whispered, relaxing into Shockwave's touch. Tense muscles and a weight he hadn't even noticed was there suddenly seemed lifted from him.

"You know... We could use one of these monitors to watch something, surely we can afford to take our optics off one of these cameras for just a bit..." Shockwave suggested, nuzzling his helm into Bee's neck.

"I couldn't agree more... Just don't let boss bot hear about this okay?"

Shockwave nodded in agreement, picking Bee up so they could get into a much more comfortable position. One where Shockwave was sitting on the seat Bee was just on and Bee was in his lap, now sipping on a bit of coffee Shockwave brought for them to share.

Shockwave struggled not to giggle as Bee nuzzled his chest and neck, spots where he was a bit ticklish. Of course Bee didn't let that stop him in his PDA, nothing really could when he was commited to it. He wasn't even glancing at the screen as he shushed Shockwave, telling him to keep quiet so he could find something for them to watch. He couldn't help but be such a tease like that~

"H-honeybee! Cut it out w-will you and find something for us to-to watch?" Shockwave whispered through his laughter, causing Bee to giggle and shake his helm.

"Okay, okay, geez someone is impatient huh?~ Hmm... Wanna watch some garbage reality TV?"

"Don't we always just complain when we watch those kinds of shows?"

"Yeah but I love complaining when it's with you. Plus I don't want to use my brain for a while."

"Fair enough."

Cuddling Shockwave while the two of them watched some... Lesser quality shows together was exactly the kind of mindless activity Bumblebee had needed... He would lean against Shockwave's chest, hearing the soft sound of Shockwave's spark beating and feeling the warmth that just surrounded such a big frame. Every once in a while Shockwave would pause and the two of them would talk about how obviously edited a moment was or a particular person who was annoying them both.

"Can she just stop being so rude and speaking over the other girls? She keeps saying they're fogetting their manners but she's been the worst this entire season..." Shockwave huffed and Bee shook his head.

"Betcha she only made it this far because of the producers." Bee muttered and Shockwave nodded.

The show was stupid, plainly stupid and frustrating to watch at times, it was overproduced and felt like every other reality show you could find out there. At some point Shockwave had paused the show and gone off on a tangent about a topic the show brought up. Bee didn't bother to remind him of the show, he just let Shockwave go on and on. Hearing his voice always made him feel so much better after a rough day, no matter what it was he was talking about.

The way Shockwave would gesture and emote with his hands and body only made it more endearing too...

After he was done, Bumblebee giggled before asking him. "Want to stop watching for now?"

Shockwave huffed, taking a sip of their shared coffee before answering.

"Nope, let's keep going." He whispered, unpausing the video as Bee' smile only widened.

A couple more sips of coffee, more episodes of garbage TV and Bee and Shockwave were both much more lively.

"You wanna actually watch something good now?" Bee asked and Shockwave chuckled.

"I would love to honeybee..."

The rest of the night stopped being a warm haze for Bumblebee, it was instead all so clear for him, him and Shockwave were both quiet as they watched one of their favorite movies. Sometimes pausing to comment on their favorite moments or to grab snacks and a drink. At some point Bulkhead offered to take their place for the overnight job but both of them politely declined. They were having fun and though Bumblebee was still somewhat tired from his day, he was so happy it would end on such a wonderful note.

Just him and Shocks together, Bee comfortable in his lap while they shared coffee and snacks. Sunflower seeds, popcorn and pretzals, it wasn't a movie theater and it wasn't a night filled with anything but junk food.

But these quiet intimate moments between them meant everything to Bumblebee. Nobody would really know about this night or everything that happened during it, because it would be a rather boring story to tell.

But Bumblebee looked forward to another busy day, in the hopes of having an even more boring night, as long as Shockwave was there to make it magical. Just for him...

Heyooo thank you for requesting!! Haven't written hcs in a while so it's been a nice refresher!

Reader is implied to be plus sized, gender neutral and human

TFP

- The sweetest, with the gentleness of a saint.

- He will constantly beep for permission before even laying a servo on you, knowing how important it is to not push you into doing anything you dislike.

- Despite his exuberant personality, he's very timid regarding physical touch. You'll need to take the lead to give him some encouragement.

- "It's okay, Bee, c'mere."

- If you accept and take the lead, there will be no shortage of soft touches. Bee just loves how soft you feel pressed against him.

- Lay on him. Please. You're not heavy to him at all. Lay on his chest or cradle in his neck, wherever you feel most safe, as long as he can touch you.

individually they all have their own little nickname for you; mattias calls you babe, dominic calls you hotstuff, aaron calls you lover (loverboy or lovergirl if you prefer), and judas simply calls you a shorter form of your name.

he'd have a hard time referring to you as anything other than your name. but whatever he does call you, he makes sure to add 'my' in front of it, no matter what. my darling. my treasure. my beloved. you belong to him and he will make it known, even in the smallest of ways.

together, they all almost exclusively refer to you as their human. lyonesse especially — when she addresses you directly, she calls you 'little human' rather than your name. tomila refers to you as 'pearl' or 'starfish', and kallisto will mimic the names she's heard humans use for one another like 'baby' or 'honey'.

➶ the butcher :

rhodes likens you to baby animals. little lamb, cub, and calf are particular favorites of theirs, but they'll playfully refer to you as sillier baby animal names when they think of them (fry, joey, ✨pangopup✨). they like gently reminding you how small you are compared to them; reminding you how safe you are with them as well.

☹ the alt kids :

like the delinquents, they all have their own nickname for you. faust calls you dollface or just 'doll', delta will call you 'sugar' (and/or spice if you have a more firey attitude), and anton refers to you as 'dove' or 'baby bat'.

Since we've got Bumblebee, Megatron, and Optimus babies, i think it's only fair we add Soundwave to the bunch! Especially after the pregnancy scenario with him a little while back. I'd love to see how Soundwave and the cassettes would react to human reader having a baby and adding a new sibling to the fam!

Yes, indeed it is!! I wrote this adorable little fic, I hope you like it!!

"Status; positive?" Soundwave asked you one final time, kneeling beside the floor level berth as he ensured your blanket nest was sound. More snuggled than you'd ever been in your life, you smiled patiently as your mate continued his endless fussing over your comfort, and nodded your head as your eyes met his visor.

"Yes, I'm still sure." you assured him yet again, taking one arm off the bundle in your lap to lay a comforting hand over his. Trusting your judgment but as careful as ever, he nodded in return and lingered his gaze on the newborn peeking out of his swaddling, a kind of softness settling over his angular features as the two of you sat in a moment of comfortable silence. The little one was more or less asleep at the moment, but had already made a habit of waking in short, bleary bursts of cuteness before inevitably conking out once again, and the two of you had yet to grow tired of the awe you felt at everything he did. Hopefully his siblings would be just as happy to meet him. 

"Affirmative." Soundwave said after collecting himself, rising to his pedes to access the bot sized door to your makeshift maternity ward. It took a few steps for him to unlock all the security features he'd personally installed, but as the final lock came undone with an audible thunk and the heavy metal doors whooshed apart, you had just enough time to catch three human sized bots waiting on the other side. "Cassettes granted access-"

"Where-?!"

Soundwave stepped in front of the eager trio just as they tried to charge inside, his visor leveling on Frenzy in a voiceless repeat of a warning he'd delivered many times already. Thankfully the bitlet in your arms merely gave a tiny twitch at the noise, but was otherwise silent as the cassettes sheepishly shrunk down before approaching with almost exaggerated tip toeing. Looking beyond the big bot, Frenzy spoke up again in a much more controlled whisper, craning her neck for a better view. "Where is he?"

"Right here." you invited gently, encouraging them to approach. Seeing the bundle in your arms gave Frenzy, Ravage and Laserbeak a moment of pause before all three hurried to your side, moving as quietly but swiftly as their respective legs and wings could take them. Having expected such excitement, you merely ensured the sparkling was easily visible before preparing for the inevitable flood of questions.

"No way, he really is a bot!" Frenzy said first, crawling over the berth for a closer look but keeping a comfortable distance. Soundwave kneeled behind you as the entire family gathered around, and even with hushed tones all the action had the little one perking up to look around with his broad visor. The purple cassette only grew more awed as he cooed in mild confusion. "The teeniest one I've ever seen, too!"

Laserbeak, though equally touched by the new arrival, brightened at the sight of his chubby face and rounded visor before turning to his sister with an expression of victory. "Ha, you owe me ten credits! I told you he'd have a visor!"

"Don't be so darn smug, you had half a chance of getting it right." Frenzy scoffed, crossing her arms and meeting the other bot's insufferable gaze. "Besides, I'm the one who predicted him in the first place."

"True, but we didn't wager on that." Laserbeak countered with a snicker, the sound of which caused the sparkling to stir with more energy. Yawning and rubbing his face, the bitlet made an adorable show of smushing his rounded cheeks before his digits found his way to his mouth and he began to suckle, emitting a quiet hum of contentment. The adorable sight softened him, and the avian lowered his voice as he continued.  "Cute lil feller, isn't he?"

"Yeah, can't pretend that's not adorable." Frenzy concurred as Ravage sat quietly at her side, observing the newborn with a few tentative sniffs as the others continued talking. "But how long until he gets an altmode?"

"Development rate, uncertain." Soundwave answered simply, reaching over you to adjust your blankets. The movement made the sparkling reflexively reach for his sire, stubby digits flexing before the uncertain mech offered his son one of his own, which the newborn grasped tightly.

"There's not a lot of info out there about how these things go, so we're just going to figure it out day by day." you explained further, chuckling softly as the sparkling nommed on Soundwave's digit. "For now, he's just a normal newborn."

"A cute one. Look at his widdle servos..." Frenzy said without thinking, so enamored with her new sibling she briefly forgot to be cool. Catching herself with a blush and a cough once she caught Laserbeak smirking, the femme averted her gaze and mumbled a quick addendum. "That uh... that grip will make him a good guitar player, that's all."

Oblivious to how much his arrival had been anticipated, the sparkling decided to return to napping right in the middle of nomming on his sire, yawning once before conking out in your arms once more. The cuteness was too great for anyone to resist, and even Ravage gave a soft purr of adoration as the group gathered more closely around the new arrival, basking in his presence as he snoozed in perfect contentment. He couldn't know it yet, but he was perhaps the safest little one on Earth.

Imagine femme bot reader being a hugger/cuddler. Femme reader is also lovable, short, and childish, so they get a lot of admirers.

No continuity or characters were given here but my brain just immediately went "Earthspark" and imagined Femme!Reader is also just a really loving and supportive teacher to the Terrans. LOTS of hugs and pats on the back when the kiddos do a good job. Not to mention every single Cybertronian in this continuity needs a hug I stg

Content Warning: Mentions of PTSD in this one. TBF that's probably a warning for a LOT of my stuff - there's robots be traumatized.

The Earthspark!Autobots recruiting a Femme!Autobot who is a smol, energetic cuddler would include...

Optimus has always been pretty casual about giving his cohorts pats on the back/side hugs/etc, but they don't so often respond to him as enthusiastically as you. They see him as this larger than life thing,  so it makes him really happy that you're so relaxed around him. Between that and how you make sure the Terrans receive physical reassurance, and the two of you become fast friends.

Elita-1 doesn't really initiate hugs, being more of a words person, but once she adjusts to how physical you are she will crush you with affection in return. She immediately gets the sort of bot you are and recognizes your warmth as strength. She will call anybody out who assumes your childish nature makes you naive. Speaking of which....

Megatron has zero idea how to deal with it when you straight up hug him in front of everybody for the first time, and it shows on his shocked face in a way he may never live down. During the war, he never let anybody that close, and while he's mellowed out a great deal now, most bots would be afraid or at least cautious to try being so affectionate with him. He's likely the most prone to assuming your demeanor means you're innocent, even if you've actually suffered from the war as much as anybody else.

Wheeljack ends up asking you for advice on being more open and warm with Twitch - it's not something that comes naturally to him, and he can tell physical reassurance does her a lot of good. You help him out and in return he often has a new gadget for you as a thank you present... to mixed results.

Bumblebee is the most hesitant around you at first - the last thing they need is another child running about, for Primus' sake. Autobots need to be mature and professional. But eventually, he realizes nothing about your sunny disposition keeps you from doing the job at hand just as well as the rest of the team, and from there it doesn't take him long to get attached. 

Arcee is the most like you in disposition AND size, so you two immediately click. She's not as much of a hugger as you, but will respond enthusiastically to a hug by straight up LIFTING you off the ground and swinging you about. The terrans LOVE when you two are teaching, because you're the most encouraging and least intimidating duo of any of the Autobots.

Please, for the love of Primus, give Grimlock a hug. He's not going to openly ask for one, but he needs one badly. He never acts too excited when you hug him but also never backs away or tells you to stop... and you notice the more you comfort him, the more likely he is to come to you when he's had a rough flashback or is otherwise just feeling out of sorts, and not so subtly sit or bend over in a way that makes it easy for you to reach up and hug him.

Bumblebees can surprisingly withstand days underwater, according to a study published Wednesday, suggesting they could withstand increased floods brought on by climate change that threaten their winter hibernation burrows. The survival of these pollinators that are crucial to ecosystems is "encouraging" amid worrying global trends of their declining populations, the study's lead author Sabrina Rondeau told AFP. With global warming prompting more frequent and extreme floods in regions around the world, it poses "an unpredictable challenge for soil-dwelling species, particularly bees nesting or overwintering underground", co-author Nigel Raine of the University of Guelph said in a statement. Rondeau said she first discovered queen bumblebees could withstand drowning by accident. She had been studying the effect of pesticide residues in soil on queen bumblebees that burrow underground for the winter when water accidentally entered the tubes housing a few of the bees. "I freaked out," said Rondeau, who had been conducting the experiment for her doctoral studies. "It was only a small proportion… so it was not that big of a deal, but I didn't want to lose those bees." To her "shock", she said, they survived. "I've been studying bumblebees for a very long time. I've talked about it to a lot of people and no one knew that this was a possibility," she said.
