Sometimes i lay in bed at night and wonder if there are ever days where essek feels like he doesn’t deserve caleb and/or anything that has been given to him by caleb
I, unfortunately, am a huge sucker for very angsty essek and the thought of him feeling underserving of caleb’s love after everything. Smacks essek, this hot boy can fit so much hurt/comfort in him

late night crew gets secret oc/canon lore cause ur special and im in a giving mood
beatdrop owns a casino, and john dory is john dory i refuse to believe he doesnt owe people money. beatdrop has eden on speed dial and she's able to find anyone anywhere (no one knows how)
she and jd have an "on-off" thing going on. eden's not really meant to kill him just keep an eye on him. she thinks his antics are silly
eden kinda wanders when shes not busy with work, but somehow always finds here way to john's current campsite. he's kinda scared of how easy she finds him without any information...
eden just knows :)

i can't stop thinking about the parallels between g—'s death and wake's death. g— going to melbourne with the suitcase and wake going to the ninth with a baby she'd nicknamed bomb. both of them completely desperate and needing a miracle. both of them probably aware it's a doomed suicide mission but of course they're both willing to burn for what they believe in. and then the fact that g1deon specifically is the one to kill wake, on john's orders, after john stopped g—'s heart. landmine people for real.

here’s another thought i have on the finale which isn’t very high stakes but has been driving me Fucking Nuts:
re: the fight between jamie and roy about keeley. i thought it was stupid and lazy writing that did a disservice to everything else that dynamic was and encompassed. there was so much more there and THAT was how we closed it out eh? like kudos to her for going ‘uh, no’ and kicking them out, that was a good call, but the whole thing sucked so bad generally and wasted time we could’ve spent doing literally anything other than the most cliche, juvenile, classic ‘women are a prize for men to fight over’ thing. however what’s annoying me even more is the way people who DID like it are responding to people who didn’t.
i keep seeing people be like “ACTUALLY them fighting over her was fine and normal youre all just babies who can’t handle that sometimes people REGRESS and sometimes people are MEAN and UNFAIR and UNKIND” and it’s like nah man it’s because they avoided doing this shit entirely for three fucking years and then were like do you want the cliche love triangle bullshit you dodged the whole time heaped on you at the last second when it makes the least sense? sure, here you go!
is it regression if it’s something they never did in the first place? i think not! and characters can be mean and unfair and cruel and whatever and it’s not the end of the world, i actually think it’s very interesting, and THAT’S not the part i find out of character, it’s that they literally never did this before and now after EVERYTHING else, after how clear it was how gravely fucking serious jamie was about the video leak, this is the kind of shit they’re throwing at each other about this? after repeatedly subverting expectations of classic love triangle nonsense? it’s tired and it’s lazy and it’s the cheapest option and nobody is gonna be able to change my mind by telling me i just don’t understand that People Can Be Unfair Sometimes.

I remember at one of my old jobs I had a performance evaluation where my manager basically told me that I didn't perform above and beyond when it came to punctuality because she surmised, "You're either here on time or you're not".
Which is all well and good but I arrived to work 30 minutes early almost everyday so that I could consult with staff for their convenience (not mine) and if that didn't just slap me in the face and teach me right then and there sometimes your efforts go totally unnoticed and to stop bending backwards for people as a general principle.

the flood->job->golgotha-> rome trajectory is so interesting to me because Job complicates what was previously a nice little mostly linear trajectory of Crowley and Aziraphale warming up to each other. There are ways the Job minisode fits in between the flood and the crucifixion (Crowley questions God's plans and thinks God's being a dick, Aziraphale initially expresses deference to the almighty's ineffable plans), but also it might actually be the most honest we ever see them be with each other and it's more intimate than anything else we see up until Paris or maybe Shakespeare.
over the course of that minisode:
Crowley learns that Aziraphale has absolute faith that he wouldn't hurt children (???)
Aziraphale gets confirmation that Crowley won't hurt kids on hell's orders. or adult goats, apparently.
Crowley learns that the sword wasn't a one off and Aziraphale will lie to heaven for humans even when he's terrified about what the consequences of those lies might be
Aziraphale learns that Crowley doesn't want him to fall and he can trust him not to report any indiscretions
They reach some kind of mutual understanding about the loneliness of their positions
Aziraphale experiences food for the first time and it's a very sexually charged metaphor.
It's a lot! a lot happens and then by Golgotha we're back to Crowley accusing Aziraphale of showing up at the crucifixion to smirk at the poor bugger and Aziraphale replying that he's not consulted on policy decisions. Eight years later in Rome Crowley still isn't happy to see him. Aziraphale is going to keep on insisting that Crowley is inherently evil and lacks the capacity to choose otherwise whenever that feels right to him. There are many reasonable ways this could happen and emphasizing the circuitous back and forth of their relationship makes perfect sense for this season in particular but still. i have yearnings. obviously the only solution is eight seasons covering the intervening 2467 years. this would be a good and artistically valuable use of everyone's time and money (to me).

Introducing the Little Queens, an up-and-coming duo with their unique blend of doom and groove.
Vocalist and bassist, Jaehaera Targaryen (17), and drummer, Daenaera Velaryon (14), are eager to prove their "metal" in the scene and empower other young women to do the same.
