King Sunflower- Sunflower is a small, smart, short-tempered RainWing. He is the main ruler of one of the 5 kingdoms on the continent. He rules over the SandWings, NightWings, and SeaWings of the Continent. His scales are pale Yellow, with Pale Green underbelly, frills, and membrane.

King Deathstalker- Deathstalker is a Tall, not very bright, jewel obsessed animus SandWing. His is the secondary ruler of the SandWings, NightWings, and SeaWings (Him and Sunflower are not mates!). His scales are Gold Yellow, with Pale Sand Yellow underbelly, sail, and membrane.

King Caterpillar- Caterpillar is medium-sized, somewhat bright, kind HiveWing. He and his mate, BrightSide, rule over the HiveWings, and RainWings. His scales are Dark Honey Orange, with black accents.

Queen BrightSide- BrightSide is a medium-sized, smart, kind NightWing. She rules over the HiveWings, and RainWings with her Mate, Caterpillar. Her scales are Gray-Black, with Pale Teal-Blue underbelly, claws, and top-side wing membrane.

Queen Flameburst- Flameburst is a Tall, smart, short-tempered firescale SkyWing. She rules over the SkyWings. Her scales are Deep Orange with gold accents, with Yellow-Red underbelly, claws, membrane, and eyes.

General Penguin- Penguin is a short (smaller than Sunflower), Geeky, hard-headed IceWing. He rules over the IceWings. His scales are White, with Ice-Blue underbelly, claws, and membrane with specs of Mint Green.

King Dusty- Dusty is a Tall, quick-thinking, kind MudWing. He rules over the MudWings, SilkWings, and LeafWings. His scales are Dust Brown, with Chestnut Brown top-scales, and Hazelnut Brown underbelly and membrane.

DreamCreator- DreamCreator is a medium, smart, hard-working NightWing. Her scales are Dark Green, with Deep Blue underbelly, claws, and top-side wing membrane.

QuickMind- QuickMind is a medium, smart, fearful NightWing. His scales are Gray-Black, with Green-Blue underbelly, claws, an top-side membrane.

Moonstone- Moonstone is a Tall, smart, boring SkyWing. His scales are Deep Crimson, with Dark Red, almost black, underbelly, claws, and membrane.

Flytrap- Flytrap is tall, smart, short-tempered LeafWing. His scales are Pale Green, with Orange-Red underbelly, claws, and Wing-Veins.

Emperor- Emperor is short, somewhat-bright, silly SilkWing. His scales are Deep Cyan, with Yellow, Green, Blue, and Red antenne, while his underbelly is a Lighter Cyan.

Writing Prompt #DreamCreation

Writing prompt of the day, borrowed from #instagram #writingprompts #DreamCreation. 

YOU GET TO CREATE A DREAM AND GIVE IT TO SOMEONE. WHAT DO YOU CREATE AND WHO DO YOU GIVE IT TO?

I’d like to start by saying that I would give this dream to anyone who likes to write. Here it is:

You are at home – the home you grew up in. You walk through the house to the dining room to have breakfast with your favorite family members of all time. You look out the kitchen window and can see that Townsville is under attack, again. The Pink, blue and green streaks of the Powerpuff Girls are zipping through the sky as they do their shit to stop the chaos. The buildings are on fire, but that’s alright. It’s just another day.

Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange opens a portal in your kitchen. His levitating cloak flies onto your shoulders and pulls you into the portal that promptly closes behind you.

Doctor Strange explains that you have powers, and that it’s time to wake them up. He lays you on a bed of satin and runs his magical hands above you, casting a brightly glowing spell that wraps around your body and enters you through the mouth. You can feel it fill your stomach, and pulse through your veins, as it slowly travels up into your brain. You feel different. He puts you back into your dining room and closes the portal. No further instruction.

You feel pregnant with power, and you head to Baskin Robins to get some of your favorite ice cream. After paying, you suddenly find yourself in outer space, calmly eating your two scoops. The thought hits you that humans behave like atoms and atoms behave like humans. Boom! You are in your shower.

You become hyperaware of everything that is happening. All the molecules that are being washed down the drain by other molecules. Nothing is really connected! We are just a bunch of atoms connected to other atoms by shared valence electrons!!! 

But then, an orca comes crashing though the bathroom, drags you into the ocean, and takes you to Antarctica, where you no longer have the resources to look into these thoughts further… and you sit there, and you freeze, and you cry, and your tears freeze.

Just when you've accepted that you are going to die, your favorite family member finds you, your body warms, and they take you home. You sit at the dining room table eating dinner, and as they have conversation amongst themselves, you sit trying to figure out what your power is and how to use it. You have no idea… so you go to your room and start to write.

Then you wake up.
