Mahiru Koizumi, Sonia Nevermind, And Chiaki Nanami With An S/O Who Wants To Assassinate Junko Enoshima

Mahiru was shocked.

"You? Want to kill someone? But why? You should know there's always another way to solve your problem!"

You had to explain that no, there isn't. Not this time. Not with this person.

Mahiru won't even help you with preparations for it.

It isn't that she doesn't care. It's just that she doesn't even want to know about it. She doesn't want to feel that guilt on her conscience the way you will.

She knows for certain you'll feel guilty over what you've done. And she'll comfort you, but she wants absolutely no part in the actual event that leads to the guilt.

She won't rat you out. Not to the police, not to your peers, nobody. She will, however, lie for you. Give you a false alibi, tell everyone you were together the night of the murder.

"Oh, uh, yeah. S/O and I were watching movies that night. Free Willy and The Corpse Bride were two of them, I remember."

She's very thorough with her alibis, such as name-dropping the exact movies she claims you watched that night.

However, she makes sure to leave small indiscrepancies in her testimony, making it more believable that she had simply forgotten bits and pieces. Chalking that up to not having been aware she was meant to keep it memorized.

Luckily, she's trusted and therefore people believe her.

Someone else ends up getting arrested for Junko Enoshima's murder.

And the guilt of getting an innocent person imprisoned for murder, something the person didn't even do, weighs heavily on Mahiru's conscience.

Outwardly, she's still your loving, caring, somewhat tsundere girlfriend.

And that still holds true. She's still loving, caring, and tsundere.

She still acts completely normal for your sake alone.

But inside?

Well, that's a different story.

Inside...

She's a wreck.

"Hm? You what?"

Chiaki thinks you're joking at first.

You, her wonderful partner who has been nothing but loving and kind from the day she met you, now wants to kill someone?

And she uses that as your alibi!

They asked her questions about who won and who lost, who you both played as, etc., just to make sure Chiaki could keep her story straight.

Fortunately, she did.

"They were Zelda, I was Kirby. But we switched sometimes, and I won most rounds. Then we went to sleep."

Luckily, she's very well-respected, so they believed her rather easily.

She was hesitant to cover for you and hesitant to allow you to commit murder, but at the end of the day, she trusts you.

So why not prove that trust by allowing you to do what you want and covering for you when you need it?

She knows that you're not the kind of person to do that for no reason, so Junko really must have been horrible.

Instead, she tries to get Junko's death ruled as a suicide instead so nobody has to be imprisoned for the crime of killing her.

And unsurprisingly, it works.

She's not afraid of you or anything, either.

If anything...

She's hopeful.

And she trusts that you've saved her world.

Sonia doesn't ask questions about why or who. She simply asks for one favor.

She asks that you stay in her country for the time being so you're not subject to Japanese law in case you get caught.

The punishment for murder in Japan is execution, after all. And if you died, who knows what she would do?

Instead, she asks that you send one of her best assassins to off Junko for you and the assassin, if caught, can get out under pretense of being punished by her.

If you insist on going alone, though, she'll ask that you register as a citizen of Novoselic.

That way the Japanese government can't punish you, but instead turn you over to her for her judgment on your punishment.

Of course, Sonia would punish you via imprisonment... in a five-star suite with everything you could ever want inside.

Not much of a punishment, but technically, you're still doing some form of time, and therefore, she can get both of you off the hook for it.

"Tell me, S/O, what is so awful about this person that they simply must die? Though I shall not judge your reasoning why, I am simply inquisitive to have, as they say, 'a penny for your thoughts'."

You explain to her that your target is Junko Enoshima, someone who plans to throw the world into chaos.

And of course, being the sweetheart she is, she believes you.

And why wouldn't she? You've never given her any reason not to trust you, after all.

So she'll offer you any form of aid she can provide in your ambitions to kill Junko Enoshima, including a legal pardon from any punishment that may befall you if caught.

She's not afraid of what you've done. Nor does she feel guilty for it.

After all, she witnesses executions all the time, due to her status as royalty. She even has to be the one to condemn the guilty to their death at times.

She's used to this. So she can guiltlessly offer her support and assistance.

And you're grateful for that!

Really, you couldn't ask for a better girlfriend and a better partner in crime.

And neither could Sonia.
