Hot take, Chiaki is objectively mid and practically just a cardboard box, absolutely boring. Aside from being hajime and nagito’s character arc catalyst she’s basically just an empty shell. Idk, how people say she has a personality. She’s practically a waifubait, I mean first of all she’s a sweet soft spoken gamer girl, and her entire existence in the anime was just to make hajime attached to someone so that izuru could have some semblance of emotion, she’s not her own character at all. Her design was good, but the thing with her being an ai was lame. Even though her entire purpose in the game was to be a kind of facilitator and to push them towards hope but she ended up just doing nothing. EVEN MONOMI WAS MORE TOLERABLE??? I would take Angie over her any day because at least Angie had a personality and Atua stuck and became a running gag. Chiaki was just generic.
