ohhh I love this- I’ll say for the sake of things it’s around middle school age since the majority of the cast um. have not gone to middle school but that being said:

Atlas: Fully walked into an Institute meeting once, didn’t move until he was told to leave he was so embarrassed. Did it again the exact same day with a different meeting.

Puck: Embarrassed themselves in front of their crush by running into a pole while staring at them and subsequently falling back into a puddle, getting their backpack wet in the process.

Skye: Honest to god tried thinking of something that would not be a spoiler but Skye is incredibly bad at reading a room and doesn’t often feel ashamed when she’s just being herself- at most has said things faster than she comprehended it and hurt someone’s feelings.

Reese: In trying to show off his parkour skills to his friends, he completely ate shit falling off of a platform and lost a tooth in the process. His friends never let this go.

Desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

Seeing as I did Shaw for this one previously it only feels right to do Vivian for this one! Vivian’s greatest desire is pretty simple - more than anything, they want to prove themselves to be More than what she was on the surface. More then just a grieving mother, more then a lowly maid, more then someone to be shoved away and forgotten. It’s a mixture of social & monetary ambition combined with a desire to become stronger in an emotional and literal sense. Not in the sense that he’s always deserved this kind of lifestyle, but more in the sense that it’s now hers to Take. It’s a very hungry sort of drive, born from a lot of anger and unsolved grief. While I don’t think Vivian would outwardly admit this to most people, she has told Shaw about it so I don’t think it’s impossible. She would do a lot of things if it meant getting what she wants - including killing the Vake!

Fear: What is your OC's greatest fear? What do they do when confronted with it? Are they open with their fear, or do they hide it away?

B’s greatest fear is… their past. Though they have near total amnesia concerning their time on the Grand Geode, there’s a lot of things that drag those memories back up - the smell of the Zee, mechanical diagrams, bright lights… - and the brief flashes that surface are all laced with a truly terrifying blend of fear and longing. Essentially, B’s developed as many excuses to never have to be exposed to things that dredge those emotions up - their self proclaimed fear of the zee, for example. They hide from remembering as best they can, and harshly deny any memories that do come back as their own in order to try and squish the yearning (and burning) before it can take hold. Whatever they forgot - they forgot it for a reason.

Hunt: Who or what is your OC hunted by? A person, a feeling, a past mistake? Is your OC able to let their guard down, or are they constantly alert?

Similarly, Beverley is haunted non stop by the feeling that he absolutely made a mistake by staying on the Grand Geode. The spectre of doubt is never far behind though you literally could not waterboard this confession out of him. He’s fine! Nothing’s wrong! He made the right choice after all, they’re the traitor, not him! (The guilt is consuming all and he can never allow it to catch him)
