Batman AU where the batfam is an extension of Gotham’s will so they can’t leave the city without taking a piece of it with them
Bruce, ever practical, has a batarang made from a steel piece off the bat signal (not that he’d be able to throw it but it’s a backup nonetheless)
Dick, Jay, and Tim have made it Robin tradition to carry pebbles in their pockets (the justice league has come to associate the soft jingling of rocks with the arrival of the Dark Knight)
Steph finds pretty rocks and quartz to crack open and share with Cassandra- and they cycle through their newest finds (cass does keep a shiny piece of obsidian in her utility belt, it was the first one Steph gave her)
Duke keeps a corner from a road sign in his pouch, the reflective yellow paint matches his theme- (what better representation of the city than perpetual construction)
Damian reverently carries a piece of deep green sea glass from the harbor. The color reminds him of his mother, and he finds the beauty fitting. (The irony that the only way for him to leave his new home is an echo of the reason he’s there in the first place is not lost on him.)
EDIT: LOOK AT THE REBLOGGED VERSION WITH MORE CONTENT ITS WORTH IT I SWEAR

“a cage for a cage”
when philza said it i was like LET’S FUCKING GOOO ANGEL OF DEATH PHILZA
and now cucurucho got him and said the same to him, as a reminder that the federation is in charge and no one should go against them
the fucking federation kidnapped him because he went against them, and the lava casting was nothing compared to what phil can do if he goes full angel of death
of course i’m worried about him but i know him and he’s gonna set that fucking cage on fire to get out and kill everyone in his way, he can be ruthless and he’s going to be and the federation will fall

Just a quick question for people who work in branding or social media or PR or simply have more than an idea how it works, how likely is it that Alpha Tauri’s Instagram did get hacked?
After the whole fiasco of changing names and then deactivating on Thursday, I’d have thought they would have rushed to make some kind of announcement about the new name or car launch on Friday but there’s been nothing and their Instagram account is not yet back up. It’s also a bit strange how only their instagram account was changed. Question is — if one of your social media platforms gets hacked, would it be something you’d address on your other platforms? What kind of mitigation plans would you even have in place?

fun fact: when i chose the name for this blog i actually didn’t have in mind to write and post skz fics, and i mainly wrote for bts, so i literally chose the first name that came to my mind.
now. i have a degree in foreign languages and my username actually triggers tf out of me bc double “e” is pronounced [i:] while “i” in kids is pronounced [ɪ]. so not only it is a lame username, it’s also incorrect and i’m fucking dumb.

In retrospect, I regret skipping Rebels. 🥲
not just because of Ahsoka, I haven’t gotten there yet. But because back then, I got interested in star wars (I’m still am) when I was a teen and wanted to watch it all in chronological word, and I was told by someone “oh skip rebels, it kinda irrelevant” and then I saw at least during the time that people were saying the show was mid. So I shrugged and say “okay”. And now in 2023, I now finally got to watch it, I’m on season 2 I have to pick it up again, and honestly I should’ve just not listen to people, because at least imo, rebels pretty good, does it get kid-ish at time, sure but it not like that a bad thing really. I do think the story pretty solid when it come to Ezra, and only most of the character are pretty good, I don’t have a complaint really (tbh my favorite is probably kanan, I do like his complexity and how even thought yes he still acts as a jedi he does care deeply. Tbh I’m hazy since I didn’t pick it up again so I might have rewatch again. My bad 😅)
So honestly, even though I regret not seeing rebels especially since at that time I had just finished watching clone wars after season seven dropped. But I’m just glad I’m watching it watching it now. ^v^
Also I’m not going to lie, the fact Ezra’s lightsaber (at least now unless he loses it at some point since I saw he have completely different color lightsaber) is a gun and a lightsaber is kinda cool, I would like a lightsaber like that. Idk 😅

something about humanoid-yet-not-quite-human characters. characters who are a little bit incomprehensible, or a little bit divorced from their humanity. characters who are born with teeth a little too sharp, and characters who learn they have to file their teeth a little too sharp

I know you love big bad scary men, what do you think of my most favourite boy ever and my longtime crush my beloved Emperor Nero from Riordanverse?
Tumblr media
Cool look but since I don’t know anything about them or the context of the thing I just can’t have any deep opinion, I’m sorry

So sorry

Sooo I’m a thousand percent sure I’m getting a Levi tattoo and where it will be placed (upper thigh). HOWEVER, I have no idea what to get tattooed, I’ve been looking at different options but I’m so overwhelmed.
I wanted something small but I quickly realized that’s not gonna happen 😅
But these are the options so far. I was so set on the 3rd picture but the more I think about it the more I’m thinking about the more I want something closer to the first two (maybe a combo) but looking at them literally breaks my heart but the images are so powerful. I want to be able to look at my tattoo and not break down but I also want it to give me a rush of emotion. Idk man.

Okay out of all the moments in Supernatural that make me go insane, one of the top ones for me would have to be in 6.20 The Man Who Knew Too Much. Specifically the scene where the Winchesters confront Cas. (But really just Dean.)
Tumblr media
This moment, right after Dean tells Cas to look him in the eye and tell him he’s not working with Crowley. For a second, Cas holds his ground, and you can see the hope on Dean’s face in that second. Dean is praying that he’s wrong here and Cas will deny it. He wants to believe so bad that Cas would never betray him, even with the evidence so clearly stacked against him.
Tumblr media
And then Cas looks away. He probably thought about lying during that second where he didn’t back down, but he couldn’t lie to Dean, not about this. And I think Dean knew that, at least subconsciously, and that’s why he set it up this way, forcing Cas to look him in the eyes.
Tumblr media
Up until this moment, Dean has defended Castiel to Bobby and Sam relentlessly. He has refused to look at any of the evidence to suggest that Cas might be betraying them. He denies it until he cannot anymore, and then he’s devastated because yet another person he thought he could trust has lied to him.
Of course this scene reads like such a breakup scene, as many have pointed out, but I think that up until this point Cas was the one person Dean felt he could trust implicitly, and this moment is where the rose-tinted glasses are torn off Dean’s eyes and he sees that just like everyone else, Cas has lied to him too.

I just now realized (after watching this qualifying) that when drivers get weighted, the person responsible gives them a little paper like a receipt. I don’t know, I just thought it was cute 😂 like I was imagining them buying some bread ‘here you go! your receipt sir’.

I’ve been thinking about my book and I don’t think I will ever be able to publish it. While I searched for if I can publish books even if I’m not from an english speaking country, I don’t think I could do it because I use brand names (mainly Twitch and Discord, Tiktok and Twitter are also mentioned)…
I want people to read my book. I love this story and I want people to see it. I crave validation as authors usually do.
I would be very much okay if I could just put it out there, let people having it for free but I don’t know where I could put on the internet because I don’t wanna use Wattpad. People associate Wattpad with bad fanfics and while my novel is not high literature, I want to believe it’s better than those fics. And even if Wattpad allows you to publish original works, it doesn’t really reach people.
I just want comments… some opinions, reactions.
I’m writing for myself and I’m having fun with it but it doesn’t mean I don’t crave validation. I love to see when my friends read my work, even if they are criticising me. I don’t wanna please people with my work, I just want them to see it, interact with me about it. Telling me that it’s bad, or even good (I don’t think it is that good).
I wrote fanfics before, there are comments. But now I’m writing an original story… heavily inspired by some good old minecraft roleplay (QSMP) but it is still an original novel. I didn’t even make it Minecraft, i came up with an original game, I made it different, there is no roleplay in it, only gamers having fun and streaming.
While this is inspired by another media, it is my own. And I wanna tell this story, I want people to see it.
I have doubts, I always have doubts. That’s why I didn’t finish any of my books, that’s why I’m nowhere again. But I promised myself I would not drop this one but now I’m thinking about it. I’m 10,000 words into this story and I might drop this one, too. Because I feel it’s not good enough to make it a published book, I feel like I can’t make it a published book because it is too heavily inspired by QSMP and I used brand names. I really want this one to be published. But I can’t. And I will never get that sweet, sweet validation I crave.

An Overview of Yu-Gi-Oh! Fans, Represented by Card Types
The “Standard Card” fans; the “I Really Love Yu-Gi-Oh but Only a Specific Series” type of fans. Though the incarnation of Yu-Gi-Oh that they like may vary, they tend to stick to their preferred one and don’t typically ventures into the others. The type of fans who regularly post oneshots about and have a blog dedicated to their favorite incarnation of the series. Is bar none the most reliable of all the fan types for steady content.
The “Equip Spell” fans; the “I Didn’t Expect to Love Yu-Gi-Oh as Much as I Do, but I Took a Chance and Now I’m Obsessed” type of fans. Tend to dabble in most, if not every, incarnation of the franchise, and will devote the entirety of their heart and soul to said series… but it’s only temporary until another anime comes along to steal their heart. The type of fans who start a flurry of well-written, long-term fanfics while in the throws of their obsession, and then leave you off on a cliffhanger chapter, never to update again, because they’ve moved onto a new fandom.
The “Field Spell” fans; the “I Never Thought My Mind Would Turn into a Mess Because of a Card Game Show” type of fans. Similar to their sister fan, the “Equip Spell” in terms of obsession, except the brainrot goes deeper and is long-lasting. Tends to comb through most — if not all — installments of the franchise with a keen eye and analyze even the most minuscule of details in the shows because they weren’t expecting Yu-Gi-Oh to be so deep and now they can’t unsee it. The type of fans who write detailed essays and spontaneously start talking about the surprising intricacies of The Card Game Show to anyone who will listen. Likely to liveblog when watching. Also likely to post a slew of headcanons and observations while doing so. Often makes great content, but sometimes needs time off to recharge their mind.
The “Quick-Play Spell” fans; the “I Got into Yu-Gi-Oh for the Sole Purpose of Sh!tting On It and Accidentally Ended Up Liking It” type of fans. Only started watching Yu-Gi-Oh to trash it just to discover that they unironically enjoy it, and now they have to find some way to explain that to their Anti-YGO friends. Can’t figure out how to justify themselves, so they eventually decide to keep trashing it. Has a blog dedicated to how much they hate this “stupid show” and all of its characters, but you can always sense a certain level of fondness under their supposed ire. The type of fans to make and reblog memes to poke fun at the franchise and preserve their dignity. Writes lots of fics but never shares them.
The “Counter Trap” fans; the “I Love Yu-Gi-Oh — Really, I Do — but…” type of fans. Antithesis of the “Quick-Play Spell” fans; while the latter claims to hate Yu-Gi-Oh but secretly loves it, the “Counter Trap” fan will claim to love Yu-Gi-Oh, but often seems to hate it. Never has many positive things to say, even about largely-agreed upon positive aspects of the series. Will find a way to critique everything, be it the new form of summoning mechanics or the clothing a character is wearing. Most definitely has a blog dedicated to Yu-Gi-Oh, filled with nothing but salt masquerading as “good natured fun”. Also likely to have an AO3 account where they post their ailments with the series rather than actual fanfics. The type of fans who goes on about how they’d rewrite things to make the shows better, never realizing their plot and changes are far more convoluted than those of the show they’re criticizing. Is constantly tacking “but…” onto the end of every supposed agreement, just to make sure you know they don’t actually agree. Updates their blogs and AO3 page regularly with new variations of old complaints. Ironically, the only indication that they might actually love Yu-Gi-Oh at all is the amount of time they dedicate to hating it.
The “Ritual Monster” fans; the “I Was a Big Fan as a Kid and Still Am” type of fan. Loves the franchise as a whole, and is unashamed to admit it. Is likely a huge fan of Duel Monsters and at least likes most of its incarnations (and even the ones they dislike, they still find pretty charming). Has a deep appreciation for the series not only because of nostalgia, but also because of its longevity. Is glad that Konami is still making new installments of the series, and touching new fans to this day. Still thinks 4Kids is a thing. Has a Yu-Gi-Oh blog, and mostly likes and reblogs the content of others. But when they decide to finally make a post of their own, it for some reason blows up and now they’re famous. The type of fans who will recount with tears in their eyes the experience of first watching the Final Duel between Yami and Yugi in DM. 100% still has the cards they bought when they were a child.
The “Fusion Monster” fans; the “Yu-Gi-Oh Helped Me Through a Tough Time and I Love It for That” type of fan. Used to be ashamed of expressing their love for the franchise, before eventually getting to to the “screw it” point and buying some article of clothing with a Yu-Gi-Oh-related image on it. Knows not everyone will get their love for the series and no longer cares. Proudly posts fanfics overflowing with love for the series’ characters… and self-deprecating author notes. Usually has one installment that they deeply care about, and finds some of the others enjoyable. Definitely hates at least one of the installments, however — usually the one that contrasts their favorite incarnation the most. Doesn’t know anything about the irl card game, but can go into depth about why their favorite characters are amazing. The type of fans that Konami should really hire, tbh, because they’re a perfect fusion of passion and critique.
The “Synchro Monster” fans; the “I Turned Yu-Gi-Oh on One Day Because I Had Some Spare Time, and Now I Don’t Want to Leave” type of fans. Has watched all the series in order, and is pleased to report they like the majority of them. Has a favorite, but will gush about each of them (you’ll still definitely be able to spot their fave, though, in the event they haven’t already told you). Won’t say that they dislike any of the installments outright, but generally seems to gear towards the the DM, GX, and 5D’s eras, if not the trifecta as a whole (also might like Arc-V). Often writes fics and essays, but doesn’t post them usually, so they mostly just read and leave comments on the former and like and reblog the latter from other content creators. Is interested in how everything “connects” both in the sphere of a solo series as well as across the greater narrative, hence why the DM-GX-5D’s trio are usually their favorite incarnations. The rational Yu-Gi-Oh fan, who has brainrot just like the others but still manages to stay sane and not let it completely take over their life… unless you happen to bring it up in their presence. The “mom friend”. Feels as if they have to be loyal to the franchise and is saddened at the thought of ever leaving it. The type of fans who you’ll come across on Pinterest with frequently-maintained, high-quality aesthetic boards dedicated to the franchise who you’re secretly wishing would post their fics and other content just to see what else they can do.
The “XYZ, Pendulum, and Link Monster” fans; the “I’m Inexplicably Into This Series So Now You All Have to Suffer for It and I Might as Well Get Internet Famous While I’m at It” type fans. Not always from the post-5D’s era, but usually. Has a blog of their own as well as a thousand others they follow. Are reblog fiends, and have most definitely scrolled through the Yu-Gi-Oh tag at three o’clock in the morning using a “borrowed” WiFi password. Is mad that everyone they know doesn’t get the magic of Yu-Gi-Oh, so they actively go out of their way to make it a part of their identity. Is determined to get something out of it prove they’re right and their haters are wrong, so they strive to get internet famous. The only way these types of fans differ, really, is in their method of trying to become internet famous. “XYZ Summon” fans will probably become YouTubers with a channel dedicated solely to Yu-Gi-Oh. “Pendulum Summon” fans are all about the fics and next-level cosplay posts on Instagram. And “Link Summon” fans choose to become memelords. All three tend to have one installment of the series that they will defend fiercely, one they will hate fiercely, and the rest they’re mostly apathetic towards. The type of fans that you have fun just sitting back and watching, because you never know what they’re going to do next.
And lastly, but certainly not least, there’s the “Continuous Trap” fans; the “I Got into Yu-Gi-Oh at Some Point in My Life and Keep Trying to Leave but It’s Got Its Hooks in Me and I Always Come Back” type of fans. This type needs no further explanation because this type is what all Yu-Gi-Oh fans secretly are, no matter which of the prior options they claim they are. Because, let’s face it. None of us are ever actually going to leave this card game hell.

I think about the “I don’t write my own material.” “I knew it. I fucking knew it.” exchange very often because it implies that Eddie was aware of Richie’s standup and probably watched it. It also implies that while he was watching it, he had this nagging feeling that the humor was wrong somehow.
I really wish that was explored more in the movies. In the book, it seems like every Loser had read one of Bill’s books and were like “holy shit I knew that guy.” (Note: I have not finished the book yet because my attention span is virtually non-existent) In the book, as far as Im aware, no one had that experience with Richie because he was a radio host for a station in an area of California, and none of the other Losers were stationed in that area.
But movie Richie’s a comedian, so his acts were probably bootlegged to YouTube. He might’ve had specials on some streaming service. It was pretty likely that the other Losers would’ve had that “holy shit I knew that guy” moment with him.
I just think it’s interesting, and I kind of wish it had been explored (for Richie and Bill) more than a couple throwaway lines in one scene in the first act of the 2nd movie.
