idk if this is a hot take but honestly as fun as think dante/lucia is i honestly don't think they would or could work out- at least until dante sorts through his baggage. but even then, Dante is someone who craves his humanity so bad- going so far as to outright deny his own human blood while simotaneously insisting he's human. i feel like- were he not completely emotionally wrecked by his own existence feeling like a curse- he'd want someone human. someone as far away from the life of a devil hunter or devil. but by getting involved with him they become a part of that life- one way or another, tragically or not. it's part of the fact that he's just a walking bundle of contradictions.

#i also have no vested interest or bias in Dante's relationship given that i selfship nuh uh no i do not #but it's also part of why I don't dig Dante n lady either #i feel like their relationship is complex- like #maybe once a while after dmc3 they hooked up cuz they're both sad they're both repressed and they're both a bundle of emotions #what is this tension between us? but because they're young and dumb they don't realize until after oh wait this tension was shared trauma #but even then Dante keeps everyone at arms length its p clear that lady and trish rly only stop by when they need something or they're #bored. perhaps just a wellness check on dante if he's showing signs of a slipping mental state #but in general I love the sort of sadness behind dante and lucias relationship as is rn too #that sort of heartending feeling of rejection and Dante's fear of letting her get hurt or thinking no one can love him #it makes my heart hurt and I love that shit #idk I'm rambling i saw some light chatter abt dante/lucia #but im not looking to get into ship wars over it lmao im just tossing out my two cents on the two #but my opinion should once again be taken with a grain of salt considering i selfship hard with him. im cringe but im free #devil may cry #dmc #amanda rambles #i need a tag for dmc lore musings cuz im reading this over and it just sounds like rough notes lol #just an uninterrupted nonsensical stream of consciousness lmao #oh fuck i gotta schedule an appointment with a therapist lol

Currently Reading: Nothing particular but I'm getting super into magazines like just random ones that catch my eye. I got two Barbie ones the other day but I finished them already. And I'm always reading academic medical articles and case studies online.

Currently Watching: Family Guy as usual. Jerma VODs as usual. Might rewatch all of the Righteous Gemstones again after just watching the new season. I have a problem called "only watches things I have already seen."

Last thing I wrote/Currently writing: Bianca/Holland (the Nice Guys) intro + finale to the "hypothetical movie" plot, Bianca/K (Bladerunner) intro, Anabel/Raphael (BG3) highly nsfw self indulgent story, and perpetually stuck trying to write chapter two of Got You Where I Want You (Reese/Nonia) and my Kent/Nonia story which the first chapter is almost done but I'm lazy.
