Anyway if youre like me and have trouble visualizing poses you have in mind, 3D models are a godsend.

The structure and proportions of the models arnt perfect even if you resize them, so I end up adjusting a LOT. I just need the general shape of the poses.

one of the best examples I have of 3D models in clip studio making it possible for me to actually complete a draw I otherwise would have scrapped lol

I actually do have a list of options for that alphabet drawing thing. Mostly to have something to fall back onto when I cant get myself to draw other things. The point is variety, so I'm excluding khr characters.

Not that I have a lack of things I want to draw. But ADHD dictates when I am able to actually start on those ideas. So when my brain decides it doesnt want to put in the effort for my HC or AU draw ideas, I will just do this instead of doing nothing at all.

Design process for Vitoria. A character who I thought I had the concept for completely figured out from the start then every time I got close to finalizing it I decided "Hm, this is too shallow. Needs more work." She went through as many name, concept and design reworks as Murmur if not more, within a much shorter time frame.

Extra process details below:

In my evil queen au, Vivi was one of the early concepts, filling a darker story role that tied in heavily with Rasiel.

Concept:

She started as a deranged stalker type character that was obsessed with the prince, and as a result clawed her way into the ranks of the queens guards just to get closer to Rasiel. The Queen overlooking her problematic motives as long as she was useful, so Siel was forced to tolerate her presence in the castle.

Her concept shifted to her being the daughter of a powerful noble family the Queen had her eyes on. The queen is too controlling to allow her heir to choose his own partner, if he ever chose one at all, so she selected Vivi as the most likely candidate. Vivi in turn offered to serve the queen until then, to constantly prove she was worthy to share the throne.

She hovered around those concepts up until i decided to give her the jester theme. Now she is a performer from a lower status family who earned her place among the guard through her ambition and acrobatic talent. The main character changes are that her idolization of the prince switched to the queen, and she shows notable disdain for the queens heirs, especially Rasiel. (she has only a slight bit more resepct for Bel because unlike Siel, he isnt a complete killjoy and actually knows how to have a bit of fun. She still thinks hes the most disappointing of the two for throwing away the perfect luxurious lifestyle he could have had just to hide in the shadows. Regardless she is eagerly hoping for the day the queen finally gives the ok to off one or both of her useless heirs.)

Because of her early concepts she was going to have a Princess/Bride theme mixed with slight roller derby inspiration for the way she fights and uses roller skates. The skates stayed on the design up until the very end where I decided stilts would be more appropriate for a clown/jester type character. She was also originally going to have a flowery decorated chainsaw as a weapon, but that was changed at the last minute too. She has however always been designated to be the most dangerous member of the guard.

Former star of her families traveling circus, Vitoria is an exceptionally skilled acrobat, dancer, and contortionist. She was personally recruited by the Queen and swiftly cut ties with her family, favoring the status and luxury that came with performing for royalty over the modest lifestyle of a small time circus.

Vitoria is the most ambitious and vicious of the guard. She keeps up her lively entertainer persona even when handling the Queen's targets, always happy to make a show out of the carnage. When she is the one chosen for a particular task, it means the Queen wants someone permanently off her playing playing field.

Vitoria is often paired with Murmur in part because his supporting abilities make her job significantly easier, but also because she believes it fitting to have someone that can provide music for her performances on the field. Although Murmur isn't particularly receptive to her style and his usually gloomy melodies clash with her energy.

Her respect and loyalties are exclusive to the Queen. Vitoria idolizes her majesty and goes above and beyond to exceed her expectations whenever possible. However her egocentric and confrontational nature often put her at the center of conflict amongst the other guards, especially with her superior Delilah, who stands at rank 1 and works alongside the Queen as her personal bodyguard and maid.
