Arcana Headcanon: M6's favorite Disney Princesses

(Because I just discovered that Dorian naturally got this very wrong and I am irritated about it. Put under the cut because explaining my thoughts got long.)

Muriel- Snow White

Actually canon as declared by the OG devs. And this fits really well! Friend to All Animals, hiding out in the woods thanks to a vain villain... absolutely works.

Asra- Jasmine

This enby is streetwise, constantly outwits his enemies instead of defeating them with brute strength, has a truly kind heart despite rumors that surround the persona he presents to others (diamond in the rough, anyone?), loves going out to see the world, has plenty of magical companions... yeah, Asra is absolutely Aladdin. So how can his favorite princess be anyone but Jasmine? (Also you cannot tell me that Asra hasn't canonically pulled the "do you trust me?" bit at one point. Or that he never wanted to take his Apprentice on a magic carpet ride).

(I saw a comment on the original about relating to Mulan as a nonbinary person, and I love that! So valid! This headcanon is not meant to counter or to dismiss this in any way. I can absolutely see Asra loving the movie and appreciating Mulan as a character as well. But I cannot see her being his favorite Disney princess. More details later as well lol)

Julian - Rapunzel

Same logic as Asra. This man is Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert. Plus he'd love Rapunzel's sunny energy, and he'd be intrigued by the healing powers (not to mention the fascinating origin behind them). Plus he will absolutely serenade his love with "I See the Light."

Nadia - Merida

Nadia would be a fan of Megara, but Megara is NOT a Disney Princess.

This one was admittedly a bit tougher to pick. My first instinct went to Tiana, since Nadia would relate to her drive and the character arc of balancing work and love. Second thought was Aurora, as Nadia has often felt like the "cursed princess" archetype herself, but that could also make her hate the character, sooo...

Anyway, I settled on Merida since she's headstrong, independent, capable, and hey, Nadia can connect to the family drama. (Plus we all know she has a certain fondness for fiery redheads.)

Lucio - Mulan

TINKERBELL IS ALSO NOT A DISNEY PRINCESS SHE HAS HER OWN FRANCHISE FFS...

Lucio's the kind of guy who would buy into all those bad faith Disney takes that led to the dumb changes they made in the live action remakes. But even if it was just at the surface level of "badass warrior who basically blows up the bad guy in the end," Lucio would love Mulan.

(And I can see Asra finding out that Lucio's favorite princess was Mulan and then changing his own favorite out of spite.)

Portia - Ariel or Moana

This is the only one that I agree with. Portia would adore Ariel. But I can see her loving Moana, too. A strong warrior in her own right who does everything for her family, goes on epic sailing adventures, has TWO cute animal companions, AND has a friendship with the ocean that basically ends up as water magic? Plus she would cry over the "I know who you are" scene at the end.

Hi, I'm luverz-exe, and I am starting a Yandere page! Oneshots, Headcanons, and scenarios are all allowed! Another sideblog where I keepy my stimboards and gifs.

I make sure my gifs don’t come from gatekeepers and are always linked to an original gif maker instead of a chain of reblogs, as 90% of stimboard blogs do.

A/n: So yeah while looking over the characteristics for each Arcana. Not all the male characters seem to fit the description for it, so those spots are filled in by the staff members. The Priestess Arcana was really hard since there aren't any girl characters, so I decided to stick with the fairies that work at the school. Since all the MC in the Persona Series work odd jobs, Persona!Yuu could probably help them out every once in a while. Now, the Aeon and the Death Arcana were tough to decided for who gets what. For Aeon, I was conflicted on choosing Grim or Malleus, but I stuck with Malleus since he basically in a "human" form as the wiki described. Death was hard to choose because the characters I had for that were Idia, Trein, and Sam. But I stuck with Sam since he can communicate with the dead with his voodoo magic.

Kingdom Hearts and Persona: Wild Card

Am I the only one who thinks Kingdom Hearts current direction is absolutely ripe for a crossover with Persona series?

There is seriously a lot of thematic overlap between the two series, they have a lot of parallels to do with Light and Darkness and what exists inside people's Hearts and all that

And it'd be the perfect explanation for Luxord giving Sora a "Wild Card"

Because in the persona series, the Wild Card is "the ability to form a contract allowing one to access and summon multiple Personas and switch between them in battle, and the ability to change bonds into strength. The wild card is most closely related to the Fool Arcana, with its Tarot numeral being zero (0). The term is also associated with the capabilities of Fusion Spells, where multiple Personas are summoned at the same time in order to execute a powerful attack."

aka it's the power all the persona protagonists get that allows them to access the Velvet Room, a place that "exists between dream and reality, mind and matter." It's a place that's very much a sort of equivalent to the Station of Awakening in Kingdom Hearts

Where the room reflects the person who created it, having different appearances but always maintaining a same central theme. Blue Velvet coverings for the Velvet Room and Stained Glass Window floors for the Station of Awakening.

I know it's not a square or disney property or anything, but still, persona 5 seems to be just fine doing a whole bunch of crossover stuff recently so it could happen, maybe

if the "Shibuya" that Sora lands in in the Verum Rex secret video isn't the TWEWY version, then maybe it could be the Persona 5 version?

Persona 5 is a lot darker in tone than kingdom hearts obviously lol but hey maybe in Verum Rex they'll move away from the disney properties a bit and stick to more square and other stuff and embrace a slightly darker tone? Cuz I mean, all the disney worlds are canonically all on the other side of reality from where Riku and Sora fell into

Hiya! Here’s one of the few unique Arcanas; The Aeon, The Jester, and The Hunger. They were introduced in the Persona game remakes; Persona 3 FES, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden.

Persona 5/Persona 5 Royal Familiar AU

Basically where Personas can become animals in the real world. An AU that has been in my brain for YEARS, mainly starting way back when I first played Persona 4. Or rather, I think it's more accurate I've had this idea since I read it in a book with a similar concept way back in middle school. It was just stronger with the Persona franchise.

Arsene/Joker

- First thought: Black cat or Tortoiseshell cat

Honestly the thought of Arsene and Morgana sharing Akiren's bag/desk just amuses me

Plus since Akiren is pretty much confirmed cat by the fandom, it fits his Persona is a cat as well

Black cat for the element or tortoiseshell for the colors (makes me think Metaverse)

- Second thought: Raven

It's mainly due to Arsene's wings

- Third thought: Bat

This is mainly all due to Rauol, mainly the wings

Zorro/Mona

- Main thought: Bird of some kind

Magpies are the only thing I can of. I think it's because they look like crows and the coloring makes me think of all three of Morgana's personas

Captain Kidd/Skull

- First thought: Cheetah

It's all because cheetahs were my first thought when it comes to running

I think Ryuji could soothe any anxiety

- Second thought: Otter or Seal

They are aquatic and cuddly (seals look cuddly to me)

Probably hard for Ryuji to carry these guys around now that I think about it...

- Third thought: Coyote

Another animal based on running

Ryuji is pretty much confirmed a dog by the fandom

- Bonus/Last minute thought: Falcon

Bird for pirate theme

Speed bird as a running companion

Carmen/Panther

- (Edit) Main/Only thought: Panther

Goemon/Fox

- Main/Only thought: Foxes

Debating on the type of fox mostly.

First choice is ultimately the Marble fox as it honestly looks like Gormon to me

Second choice is arctic fox cuz basically it's an ice fox, Yusuke's name plus element

Third choice is a silver fox because they are pretty

Johanna/Queen

- First thought: Dove

This mainly has to do with her Arcana being Priestess

- Second thought: Pangolin

After watching one of these destroy a wall, I just felt like this could fit her

Necronomicon/Oracle

- First thought: Ferret

I honestly have no idea why but I want to give my gremlin child a ferret

- Second thought: Raccoon

Pretty much same reason as ferret...

Milady/Noir

- First thought: Capybaras

Mainly has to do with how friendly I read Capybaras are and how I read that they're pretty strong

Was inspired to use mouse due to Disney's Three Musketeers and rodents due to gardening

- Second thought: Stoat

They're cute and I love how vicious they can get (Reminds me of Haru)

Robin Hood/Loki/Crow

- Main thought: Crow

In all honesty, crows have been the main and only thought I got for this and it's due to Loki. I know ravens are more Nordic but I was inspired by fanworks of Crow having crow traits

Cendrillon/Violet

- Main thought: Deer

The jumping around and elegance reminds me of a dancer

How afraid Sumi got made me think of a skittish deer

- Second thought: Barn Owl

Not sure why but there's just something really elegant about a barn owl to me that could fit Cendrillon

Azathoth/Maruki

- Main thought: Octopus

I blame the tentacles...

Octopuses are said to be smart so it could fit

Notes:

- These were just my thoughts and a lot of times I was scrambling for something other than "just because" for a reason. I failed on that

- This list is honestly two weeks old and I've been working on it on/off when I have time. For some reason, whenever I couldn’t get to this list, my brain would get me a wide variety of animals. I simply forgot them when I got here

- I don't see Persona animals changing with each Tier, but if others do then that's great! Sumi's may be the only one to change, still not sure

If your character isn’t on this list, make sure to check this page to see how many stars that character has earned this month! Stars can be used for purchases at the marketplace.

The blogs that were removed from the Isola Radiale masterlist are under the cut. Note that both blogs with broken links and deactivated accounts will be included both at the top of this list and in their proper categories.

If you were removed in error, please simply send a re-application message. Several different people work on the activity checks, so it’s possible there are mistakes! If this happens to you, you will be able to keep everything you previously had, you just may be placed in a different residence.

Our general activity rules regarding checks are as follows:

Make at least three in-character posts during a calendar month (for instance, if the activity check is for January, have three in-character posts between the 1st and 31st of January).

Only one drabble and/or meme response of 300+ words counts as activity.

One-liners or minis not tagged #isola mini also do not count.

Please Note: If you are removed during two consecutive activity checks, you will not be allowed to re-apply as that character for two calendar months. 

Additionally, anyone removed during the activity check will have a 12-hour window from the time of posting to re-claim their character. Any character not reclaimed during that period will be open to the community at large.

I have a feeling we might have Tarzan as a persona of The Faith Arcana in Royal. His first few books are in the public domain (Ecept in Europe for some reason.), Cendrillon has a connection to Disney’s Cinderella and Disney did a film version as well as Tarzan the Ape Man being part of The Great Movie Ride. Son of Man has a line about Tarzan growing up with “faith and understanding.” Besides that imagine him saying something like “Me Tarzan. You me. Show world strength with mask.”

I’m sorry my mind immediately went to Kingdom Hearts when I first read this,
