These icons are all made from the in-game sprites and even features transparent icons as a result, combined with screenshots from her animated cutscene, in-game CG, as well as artwork from the official artbooks.

These have been done differently than my usual icons and has three sets of icons within. One folder consisting entirely of screenshots of the cutscenes and official artbooks (94 total), one folder consisting of icons and screenshots from the bust upwards (91 total), and icons focusing solely on her face in her three hairstyles (ribbon, no ribbon, hair down) (72 total). As the face-only icons are taken from the bust up icons, there is a total of 186 different icons to be used, with 91 transparent icons total. As always, I have included the original full sized icons, and this is significant with this one.

While the 100x100 face-only and cutscene/art-only icons are fine, the sprite icons from the bust upwards may look small or hard to make out on certain icons. I highly recommend either using the full-sized icons for these if you don’t mind using large icons, or perhaps resizing them to 150x150 instead. I do not post icons outside of my usual size, but if you want 150x150 icons (or any other dimension) I am willing to make them for the chest upwards icons. I will not do this for the other icons, however, as I don’t want to have to upload these images multiple times.

I might have missed some CGs (mostly near the end of the game), but I do not intend on remaking these icons: as such, these icons are considered complete. Please like or rb if you use them, or credit elsewhere!

even though it’s not in the actual release of the game you ever fucking thing about how the. fucking ableist dad from Katawa Shoujo in the beta had one of the most absolute raw and real lines imaginable with a ton of real life relevancy despite being an even shittier person overall

ngl I'm not a fan of how the very necessary discussion of how autistic girls (and many poc for that matter, not that we usually remember this) often end up masking hard due to the pressure to "be ladylike" or "not be too angry" and therefore end up being seen as "very polite" and "mature for your age" and so on and so forth is morphing into being less about how social pressures may impact how autism presents and more about saying "so there's Girl Autism and there's Boy Autism and Girl Autism makes you nice and polite and pleasant but Boy Autism makes you gross and annoying and rude and offputting and no it's not ableist at all to say that being overly excitable or trying to get a turn to talk when you don't know when your turn is or struggling with arbitrary rules is rude and annoying because Girl Autism exists uwu"

homeless disabled trans person needs help paying for hotel, storage unit & phone while government assistance housing program keeps delaying their move in date

March 21st, 3/21/2024: hello, I'm equinox or Johnny, I'm a severely multiply disabled trans person living in a hotel right now due to not being able to afford apartments on the housing market right now. i have a guaranteed apartment through a government assistance program, but their compliance team keeps delaying my move in date because they cannot figure out how to calculate my earned income because i am self employed. they have been running me in circles asking for the exact same information for six months and have been becoming increasingly more condescending and rude as I've pointed out that they're asking for information i physically cannot provide, like "bank statements" for GoFundMe, a fundraiser website that considers all money earned personal gifts, and tumblr bank statements.

i haven't been able to get my hormones in weeks.

i was promised to move into my apartment on the 7th, then the 11th of this month, and it was requested of me to put the electricity bill in my name so I could get moved in as soon as possible. I did this and now i have a $20 electric bill in my name because they've delayed for so long. my unit has been sitting empty for 6 months and now I'm expected to pay for the electricity that is running in a 1 bedroom apartment I'm not living in.

i have been homeless for 6 months straight. i have been living in my hotel for 2 months. my hotel has been without WiFi for a month which forced me to get a Tracfone with a data plan so I can do my job and communicate with this apartment complex via email. i unfortunately need to buy more data because this has taken so long. most of my possessions including large portions of my stock and shipping supplies are in my storage unit, of which the $78 bill is due in 3 days.

the hotel I'm staying at is normally $40/night but the prices are skyrocketing this weekend because this is a very cheap hotel due to its low rates. i can't afford any of these nights independently of each other, let alone altogether, and it's Thursday and i haven't heard a single word about my move in date.

i have been depressed and crying for days, i cracked a tooth from clenching my teeth and i haven't been sleeping due to stress and nightmares. anything helps. thank you for taking the time to read and support and share. everyone has kept me housed for 2 months so far. i owe you all so much

it’s actually really funny that toph’s original design (that was thankfully pretty immediately scrapped) was a big, buff, strong, abled dude who makes sokka feel insecure wrt his masculinity. like they literally looked at this model and were like, “wow this sucks. what if we made it the exact opposite though,” and in doing so created one of the greatest characters of all time.
