I really should have learned by now that inktober just isn't for me - I get hyped up by the prompts, can't keep up with the breakneck pace I set myself (the plan was a full a4 ink illustration every other day, including weekends)
Ahaha. Hah. Hah.
I got two finished and one plotted out? Like the idea sketches were done and I was trying to build a ref in minecraft. ACK
I wish I could set up some kind of contraption that if I so much as said "inktober", would launch a boxing glove at my face, looney toons style.

Wanna show everyone this octopus stinkhorn (Clathrus archeri).
Found a lot of “eggs” in the woods, took one and watched it “hatching”.
Took only 4 hours from the egg to this. And it smells absolutely disgusting.

Angel of Death.
In the medical field. Some people with a pathological interest in the power of life and death can be attracted to medical or related professions.
Killers who occupy the role of a professional carer are sometimes referred to as "angels of death" or "angels of mercy".
Really proud of this one :)

And a bonus version with all the layers on, because of course I didn't do this on a new canvas:

My players have recently found out that the weird red rat in their backpack at the beginning of the campaign that tried to eat all their food turned out to be a very incompetent, shapeshifted Spined Devil. Needless to say, a strange... Friendship? Alliance? has been born.

"Come back, come back, we don't have time to fuck around"
The older I'm getting, the harder this line is hitting. I have been working on this piece for MONTHS. It was a little masochistic of me to make that many French knots on this big of a hoop, but in the end, the texture of them is perfect for the hedge effect in this piece inspired by Pruning Shears!
