The specific model in the picture is Chloe’s favorite, she calls him “Eli” rather than “Elijah” like the others

“Eli” is the android she used for her “Kamski test” when she made Hank choose between shooting him or sparing him

what are a few of your favorite headcanons for your Spider-Man DBH Au?

OOOO where do I even begin? Thank you for the ask!!

First one that comes to mind is in regards to Sixty. While his name is Conrad in the AU, some people still call him Sixty. This is because I HC that when he was in university and able to drink without Hank getting on his ass about it, he attended a frat party for the beer. He only managed to get through 6 cans before passing out drunk. The people who were there started calling him Sixer, but as they kept using it, the name slowly turned into Sixty.

Having said that, Sixty is kind of a campus legend now because people think he drank 60 cans of beer (which is just straight up impossible but y'know how myths are-- they're unbelievably silly like that).

Along the same vein of RKbros HCs, Connor and Sixty shared a bunk bed until they moved out for university. Hank never got around to remodeling their room after they left, so Nines sometimes goes in there when he misses his brothers and sleeps on one of the bunks with Sumo (can't leave Sumo out of this AU).

I'd like to think Gavin keeps a framed picture of Spider-Man in his bedroom that he cut out of a newspaper. Only Tina knows about it (she probably climbed into his room in the middle of the night to ask him if he wanted to go out somewhere and she saw it). He doesn't want anyone to know how much he looks up to Spidey, and it would take him a lot of courage to admit any of that to Nines.

(And then when he finds out that Nines is Spider-Man, he'd probably work twice as hard to keep his fanboy status a secret because there's no way in hell he's gonna admit he was obsessed with his boyfriend before he was even his boyfriend.)

aaand last HC I can think of rn that I really like is in regards to the other RKbros (Reed-Kamski). Nothing huge really. I just really enjoy the thought of them having matching necklaces from when they were little kids and were still on speaking terms. Thin, silver chains with some sort of small pendant/charm on them. Gavin keeps it tucked under his shirt while Elijah wears his like a bracelet (he had it modified). Gavin is never close enough to him to see him wearing it, and Eli can never see it on Gav because it's under his clothes, so neither of them know the other wears it every day to remember each other.

-After deviating Connor became like little vain, and enjoys making sure he looks good

-Connor loves dogs and hates cats, he got scratched by a stray cat once and held a grudge

-Connor decided to stay with Hank after the revolution

-He forced Hank to make a greenhouse in the backyard

-His mind place aftet amanda tried taking over was dead and barren for a while

-He also was very confused and depressed after the revolution

-Hank ended up getting another dog whenever Connor saw a skinny stray in an alley way

-Connor and Gavin ended up gaining a frenemies bond after the revolution

-Connor's favorite flowers are yellow roses, lily of the valley and strelitzia

-Connor decided to quit the DPD and start a flower shop(he wanted to find his own meaning separate from what his old purpose)

-He still does help the DPD whenever they need him

-He helped deviate Nines whenever he was discovered

-Connor and Nines used to dislike each other but they soon bonded and became very close

-Connor burned his jacket immediately after the revolution

-Chloe and Connor got closer after the revolution and both talk shit about Elijah together

-Gavin ended up joining Chloe and Connor after overhearing one of their conversations(i hc that gavin and elijah are related)

So, basically new DBH head canon I suppose. Preface, I hc Gavin and Elijah as siblings

I imagine Gavin used to do art before he joined the DPD. And he stopped art and did that because he saw how successful Elijah was. Gavin didn't want to be the brother who was "nothing" so he made something of himself, even if he isn't completely happy.

He works restlessly because he wants to be admired like Elijah is

16. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever used as a bookmark?

Haha, this is such a funny question! And I'm racking my brain trying to think of something clever to say, but... Man, I think my worst offense is probably the flap of a pack of Orbit gum that is still currently in my copy of Lord of the Rings. XD It's been there for so long? It's even a different design than the current packaging now, lol. But that's all I can really think of. XD

25. What is a weird, hyper-specific detail you know about one of your characters that is completely irrelevant to the story? Man! You know, I spend all this dang time thinking about characters and how to write them and their backstories and such... And here I am drawing a complete blank. XD Okay, wait! Y'know what? How about my headcanon for Elijah Kamski from DBH? Specifically the reason he was ousted from CyberLife and how he ended up where he is in canon? The entire thing is... very long and detailed, lol! But the short version is: Kamski was a child genius with opportunistic parents who was thrust into a world he wasn't emotionally prepared for. He struggled with relating to his peers and really only found solace in his college mentor, Amanda Stern, who became something like a mother figure to him. She's the one who really encouraged and fostered his talents, encouraging him to strike out and found his business at such a tender age, and she became one of the founding members alongside him, a steadfast support on his Board of Directors. (I hc there was also a third member of this little founder trifecta, but that's not important rn.) After CyberLife was established and the first androids were set to market, Kamski's innovations continued as he preferred the hands-on R&D to the actual minutiae of running a business. Gradually, the Board would take more and more responsibilities from him, especially after Amanda's health begins to worsen, which would eventually lead to her death soon after. Around the same time, a grief-stricken Kamski would throw himself back into his work, and it's then he'd begin noticing odd discrepancies in his field trials, eventually leading to him formulating his original Theory of Deviancy. But by now, CyberLife is taking off like a damn rocket. When Kamski brings his findings to the Board and puts forward his motion to halt business until he can figure out what exactly is happening, he's overruled. With Amanda's passing, her share of the stock would be seized by the third founder, and Kamski would've been in no place to intercede even if he'd known it was happening. At this point, he's well and truly lost control of the business he helped build from the ground up, his CEO title nothing more than a cheap title the Board uses to placate their shareholders and the public at large. But all of this leaves Kamski in a very dangerous place. His best ally is gone, his powerful empire usurped, and his creations may not be as infallible as he once thought. The last straw is when his experimental RK prototype schematics are seized, though it would take years for CyberLife's engineers to even be able to decipher them, much less catch up to his original craftsmanship. (Hence why CyberLife's RK800 is more or less on par with the far older RK200.) He tries to sabotage the takeover of his own intellectual property, but by ordinance, it belongs to CyberLife. He has no choice but to surrender his creations (though the completed RK200 "Markus" is spared due to a legal loophole of him being gifted to a third party). But he does end up having to surrender the RK100.

I have a whole pet theory about that, too, but suffice to say, the Amanda in the Zen Garden who acts as Connor's handler is the original prototype RK100. The initial experiment was a sort of memory preservation attempt, as the human Amanda's body began to fail her. Kamski wouldn't tried to find some way to save her, and making a sort of imprint of her mind was one of his attempts. Sadly, Amanda would pass away before the full prototype could be built, though the imprints of her mind would remain as the bodiless RK100 in it's virtual world. Kamski would then painstakingly craft the virtual Zen Garden as a space for her, as a sort of memorial to his beloved mentor, which CyberLife would then revamp as a sort of AI to sync with their RK800 series. After that, Kamski would resign his position, leaving with his fortune to become the recluse we find him as in his mansion. He takes with him his first Chloe, the RT600, who he created before CyberLife's bylaws were drafted and so was exempt from the seizure. He would build her multiple bodies that could function independently, but all have access to the same sort of hivemind. And he would begin plotting to take down his former company in the coming years. Starting with purchasing an old, abandoned freighter permanently docked within CyberLife's very shadow... ...Haha, well, I said I wouldn't get into it, but I kinda did. XD Suffice to say, I have *a lot* of thoughts about Kamski that have never actually made it into any of my fics, lol! But I do genuinely think he wants his androids to succeed in their revolution. Now, whether that stems from some sort of twisted altruism, a megalomaniacal god complex, or just good old revenge against the people who wronged him, who's to say? Could be any of those or something else entirely. Could be everything combined. But he does seem particularly invested in his androids triumphing over their human masters and how that will shape history going forward. (And there's also that deleted dialogue of his where, if Markus fails, Kamski himself dares to take up the mantle of leader, which is... 👀👀👀) Anyway, hope that answers your question, lol! Considering the whole deviant issue that’s been going on, you decided completely keeping your a relationship a secret until things blew over would be for the best

Elijah suggested it, mainly because he was worried that by so closely associating yourself with him, you would become a target

In the beginning, it was pretty simple. You’re one of the few people to ever visit Elijah, so you can relax at his place whenever you want. Honestly, you lowkey live at his place, especially on the weekends.

Yeah, dates are mostly confined to each other’s houses, but it isn’t too bad. Elijah’s house is fancy af and the Chloe’s are great cooks, so you aren’t complaining

Elijah is naturally reserved in a relationship, so it actually isn’t too different from how you two would date if you weren’t keeping everything a secret

Sure, Elijah can’t spoil you nearly as much as he would like to, but he promises to make up for it someday

The two of you always savor the time you have together, because you don’t get nearly enough of it

Sometimes it’s just laying against each other as you watch a movie, with Elijah holding your hand or playing with your hair

Other times it’s insisting that you don’t need the Chloe’s to cook for you and creating a huge mess in the kitchen

Every now and then, you risk a walk around some old park late at night

Regardless of what you end up doing, you two manage to enjoy yourselves despite the restriction of dating in secret

I headcanon that Elijah is secretly the biggest nerd ever, so be prepared for binging until 1:00 AM too

Elijah always acts really relaxed around you, and you’re one of the few people that ever get to see his more caring and awkward side

You can tell when he’s really relaxed because his voice becomes soft and gentle you’re the only person he uses this voice with

If one of you had a rough day, you’ll just end up just cuddling. Nothing really needs to be said for you to understand one another

Really, it’s those little, quiet moments wrapped up in blankets with each other as rain patters against the window that makes the strain of keeping the relationship a secret worth it

Late night phone conversations are pretty regular when you can’t find the time to discreetly meet up

The sound of each other’s voices help both of you fall asleep, especially Elijah

You can call him whenever, and he’ll pick up no matter what he’s more attached to you than he lets on

Honestly, seeing you is the highlight of his day. When he doesn’t, he would love to call you and just talk for hours, but he doesn’t want to come off as clingy

Problems don’t really begin to arise until a couple months later

Friends and family began to question where you go when you disappear

And there have been multiple instances in which a friend of yours almost stumbled upon some expensive gift that Elijah got you

Your family began to try to set you up on dates or convince you to meet up with someone Elijah was not pleased to hear that

Even Elijah had to give some rushed explanations of his own to cover up for some odd behavior

The absolute worst part was during the climax of the revolution

Elijah was busy dealing with officials and you had to stay in hiding

Seeing each other became impossible, and you couldn’t even call each other

Neither of you could begin to explain to those around you why you were so worried, and you could only suffer in silence 

Even Elijah had a few moments where he just felt like a mess on the inside

So when the revolution was over and you met back up, the two of you were relieved to finally be open about your relationship

It involved a lot of explaining for the both of you, and there were some mixed reactions from your friends and family

Im thinking about Cyberlife (too much)

So, you know how androids are their main thing, right? But what about everything else?

I mean, doesn't make sense to them to be also in electronics (as computers and smartphones) and even prothesis things?

Especially about prothesis. Cyberlife (Elijah actually) figured a way of producing limbs similar looking to human's limbs already. The technology to connect this to a human already exist, so....?

About electronics: another away to steal personal information! Why not?

And the organization itself: how much people do they contract? I have the feel they're kind of "dealers don't consume drugs," y'know? So they actually have more personnel than other companies because they don't use androids.

There's also that thing about the quantum computer??? Cyberlife have an entire department called "futurology" and a computer capable of calculating the future (hyperbole here). What Is That??

They also developed a nano-android? Nano-robots capable of curing cancer?? I mean... The game could tell us more but they didn't :(

-Jerry always helps Ralph during tough times and cheers him up with his acts.

-Rupert also tries to cheer Ralph up, but its usually the pigeons that succeed, not Rupert himself.

-Ralph always likes to try new things, sometimes these things get him into trouble but Jerry and Rupert always got his back.

-Rupert occasionally talks in third person or as “we” to match Ralph and Jerry

Nerds: Consists of Connor, Chloe, Elijah, Nines

-Connor, Elijah and Nines are the Studious Friends

-Chloe is the Mom Friend

-Elijah flexes his smarts to Chloe often

-Connor and Nines trade places with each other during tests. Eg. Connor fills in the answers he knows, he doesn’t know all the answers and swaps places with Nines, Nines fills in the answers he didn’t know and swaps back. This leads to both of them always getting High Grades

-The trade places idea was given by Gavin, Both Connor and Nines had some doubt that they would be able to pull it off without getting caught which is the thing they want to avoid, they want to maintain their good reputation among teachers.

Gavin hangs out with them rarely, mainly because Elijah was his childhood friend for quite a while and their parents are friends

The “Couple”: Consists of Luther and Kara

-They aren’t actually a couple at the time and they’re just really close friends, however this does cause people (mainly the other girls at the school) to ship them

-Luther helps Kara improve in exercise

-Kara prefers Yoga over Fitness and therefore does some Yoga with Luther sometimes

-Luther promised Kara he will always be by her side during rough times

Pure, utter, golden irony

On one side you have Hank Anderson: a gruff and careless lieutenant 

On the other side you have Elijah Kamski: an arrogant and wealthy genius

And it’s just a great combination

When you told Hank who you were dating, it’s safe to say he wasn’t exactly pleased

You know his experience with Elijah wasn’t the best and had to quickly explain that your boyfriend wasn’t the worst human being on earth

Even when Hank does eventually relax, he goes on this long rant about how if Elijah ever steps an inch out of line he’s a dead man

Elijah ends up hearing about Hank’s hesitance and it makes him put forth a bit more effort into showing that he is well and truly capable of being a good boyfriend

And what better way to prove that than spoiling you with everything your heart desires?

So Elijah goes on a huge spending spree on you to try and show Hank he’s going to treat his daughter well

I’m talking diamond jewelry, the newest technology, dates to the finest restaurants etc. Elijah is not sparing any expenses with you, so you better get used to getting spoiled

It works more than Hank would like to admit, especially when Elijah donates some new coffee makers to the DPD

Even after that Hank is always asking questions about Elijah to make sure he’s still being a gentleman

And of course, meeting the parents is tons of f u n

“So, dad, this is my boyfriend, Elijah”

“We’ve met” They both say at the same time

You can literally feel the tension in the room 

But because they both love you dearly, they manage to at least tolerate each other for your happiness but that doesn’t stop them from sending each other nasty side eyes when behind your back

Elijah deeply admires your detective abilities and is constantly impressed by the way you can connect clues that seem to have nothing to do with each other

But he’s a lot more worried than he let’s on

On the outside he’s still as suave and casual as always, while on the inside he’s a lot more worried than he would like to admit

He’s considered trying to talk you out of it a few times since he could more than easily provide for you

But it’s clear you have a passion for it and enjoy working despite the danger, so he decides to drop the idea pretty quickly

I have this random headcanon that Elijah get’s nightmares a lot, and since you’re a detective, he has frequent nightmares about you getting hurt… or worse

You can usually tell when he’s had one of these nightmares because he’ll be a bit more affectionate the next day and you’ll probably get some random gift

Despite your assurances that you know how to handle yourself, he’s still always at least a little concerned for your safety

So he tries to help how he can, even if it’s just doing little things like bringing you snacks or something to drink when you’re working on a case

And while you aren’t able to really notice since you’re working on your case, he’s very attentive towards both your mental and physical health, and does his best to make sure you’re taking care of yourself, even if he has a backwards way of showing it at times

If he notices you’re looking stressed he’ll suggest a movie marathon or something else you like in an off hand manner to try and give your brain a break 

Elijah’s not super cuddly, so of course you jump at the chance to curl up with him and watch a movie even though you both ended up falling asleep oops

He calls to check up on you every now and then when he’s feeling especially worried 

He would like to call you more, but he doesn’t want to come off as clingy or needy

But that doesn’t stop him from sending expensive cars to pick you up from work 

If you ever got injured in any sort of way, it would just about give Elijah a heart attack

He’ll pay for everything no matter what you or Hank say. He wants to make sure you get the best of everything so you can recover quickly and comfortably
