You love her, you hate her, but you mostly hate her, time for some Dartha headcannons and facts!

* A lot of her is based on toxic management I either heard about or witnessed growing up. In particular, two of my mom's bosses.

* She's literally just evil just because. I thought it would be cool to have a villain that just was. No sad backstory.

* In fact, she had a really happy backstory! Two loving parents who doted on her but were careful not to spoil her. She even did the equivalent to girl scouts when she was growing up!

* Her interest varies depending on what multiverse she's in. For the main one we know, it's dolls. For "Guns & Roses", it's games. There are other worlds where she has hobbies like collecting rocks and minerals, and even musical theater

* Her appearance also changes from universe to universe! That musical universe? Her for is Daniel Radcliffe.

* Speaking of looks, I designed her so she'd be very disorienting as a villain. She looks more like a soccer mom!

* She actually has a REALLY great diversity program. If she weren't also evil she'd be hailed as a very clever manager.

* A lot of what she does is rooted in her just being bored and treating people weaker than her like Sims. She doesn't like being bored.

* She hates being the joke even more. You want to get her to stop laughing? Laugh AT her. She has surprisingly thin skin.

* I've been hesitant to pinpoint a sexuality on her because it feels mean to group her in with anyone. Nobody deserves that. That being said, I have a personal headcannon that she hates herself for having a crush on Agatha Harkness.

* She loves softer foods like yogurt because it can go from her machine right to being absorbed by her lil sluggy body

* The Barbie Movie made her feel an emotion and she was sick for three days from it.

* She doesn't like things that bore her and she hates having her time wasted. She has zero respect for villains that act out of personal vendetta. It's too many emotions for her liking, and emotions are gross

* Her favorite musician is Enya, followed by whale noises.

* She loves the detail work of dolls. It's a lot of the appeal to her. She can spend hours fussing over how to position a doll on display correctly.

* Her favorites are ball joint dolls

* She's been regrowing her collection in-between plotting revenge. It's coming along nicely.

Hi do you know which chapter Sovieshu consoled Evalie?

I know Dartha was consoled by Angel in sidestory chapter 23

I just want to draw a conclusion.

Hmm yes I think it's 34th chapter of the sidestories. "You're finally mine".

The scene was emotional for both sisters.

In Evalie's case she found out that Ishka family is her parents and Dartha was her sister. Before that, Dartha saved her life and fell into the water (she's alive but Evalie thought she died trying to save her). So the guilt overwhelmed her and she started crying loudly in the garden. Sovieshu heard her crying and observed her from distance.

Evalie saw him standing there and she saw Sovieshu wearing the same hurt expression as hers and she finally realised his pain.

She hit herself on her left chest (just like Sovieshu did to himself) and said, paraphrasing " It hurts here, your majesty. How did you endure it?" while crying.

Sovieshu understood that she was feeling guilty over hurting someone close cause he recognised her pain.

He gave her his handkerchief to dry her tears and he thought bitterly " How did I endure? More like how am I still enduring it." Insinuating that he was still suffering from guilt.

In Dartha's case, Angel didn't realise her pain but hugged her to console her. Even though he was planning to use her, I think he was genuine in that moment.

And in case of Evalie and Sovieshu, both recognised their pain. They were both broken by guilt and pain. Sovieshu handling her the handkerchief was very appreciate at that moment cause, Evalie was very vulnerable and any physical contact would spread ugly rumours about them like wildfire.

Both were very emotional scenes and heart wrenching.

Been a long, long time since I last popped onto BDO but with Halloween coming up (my favourite event for all games) I decided to start logging into BDO again in case they have something good.

I was like ‘does Ergi have blue eyes?’ because I remembered the weird hinted love triangle between him Evalie, and Lebetti, in the side stories, but he has green eyes, not blue 😵‍💫

But at first when I read ‘blue eyes’ I thought of these two who are in love with Aini… but Aini doesn’t look like the FL and their love isn’t like that lol, It’s more pure love 😭😭

Who else has blue eyes in Alphatart’s works? The chairman (like the main villain in MOTH), but he doesn’t have any illustrations yet… and there’s also Evalie’s twin, Dartha

But tbh, the webtoon version of Evalie looks more like the FL in that cover

Rashta's side story was just a dream

Ah damn it. When I first read about it, I mistook it as an alternative timeline but turns out it was just a dream. So Sovieshu having another woman as a mistress and Rashta working as Navier's maid was just her soul dream. Makes sense if you think about the arc. To Rashta, Sovieshu wanted a child and him having a drunken one night stand with a countess as revenge on Navier's supposed affair with he*nry was just her imagination of the situation. It was just a wish fulfilling dream unlike other side stories that actually happened in the canon. (RE has lots of side stories)

The children Side stories

Glorym aka Mote is revealed to be Sovieshu's child in the side stories. She grows up looking like Sovieshu, with white hair. Mote/Glorym also identifies herself as Rashta and Sovieshu's kid. Sovieshu later offers the throne to her but she declines. Sovieshu loves his child no less. He always harbours a great deal of parental love for his daughter.

Sovieshu has good relationship with Kai and Lari. He loves them both. He basically has the cool uncle relationship with them.

Evely side story

Evely has a sister named Dartha who was stolen by the bandits and grew up with them just like Glorym. Dartha also has healing power like Evely.

Evely regularly heals Sovieshu and later heals ergi's mom.

There's a scene between her and Sovieshu in the garden where she was crying and Sovieshu comforted her. Which made me uncomfortable cause it was oddly intimate. People were speculating that this might be the hint the hint of her being his future third wife. I HOPE NOT. THAT'D BE WEIRD.

Sovieshu sees her as just a kid. Yes in the main story, Evely at first thought Sovieshu brought her in the palace to be his concubine and outright asked him about it but Sovieshu laughed it off as the idea was too absurd. Why the writer is murking the water in the side stories? I wish I could understand Korean cause MTL is mess.

Anyway there are other side stories but they don't interest me.

And the last one is

Sovieshu's regression

Turns out Sovieshu's new arc has been well accepted among Navar readers. I like this one too. Sovieshu showed great character depth. Instead of dodging responsibility, he owned them. He admitted his fault instead of blaming others. He never discarded Rashta rather took care of her and Glorym. Well, even in main timeline he tried to give her multiple chances until it was too far gone. Anyway he never blamed Rashta for his situation rather blamed himself for not being more cautious about her. He corrected his fault in this timeline and warned her against Ergi and disclosed to her that he knew about her past. (Lots of could have been avoided in the main timeline if he told her he knew about her past). In the end he gave her a bigger palace to stay in with their daughter Glorym. He never went back to her as a lover.

And with Navier. Boy oh boy it was fun to see him grovel. He ate a giant humble pie. Rightfully so. Navier didn't forgave him easily. And I am glad Sovieshu didn't disrespect her. He never raised his voice against her and admitted that it was his fault alone for ruining their marriage. This arc is filled with cute moments between Sovieshu and Navier. Sovieshu finally admitted his love for her and Navier thought it just temporary. Sovieshu would have returned to original timeline if he didn't win her heart. As he remained with her in the new parallel timeline, it means Navier finally forgave him. The ending was also beautiful. Sovieshu treasured Navier for the rest of his life and them falling in love with each other again.

I'd have preferred if Sovieshu went back in time before Rashta arrived. But I guess author didn't want to erase Glorym. I love Glorym but don't like Sovieshu getting a second wife. The problem could have solved if Glorym was Allen's child but author complicated that by later turning Glorym into Sovieshu's bio kid in other side stories. Author wanted have her cake and eat it too with Sovieshu I guess.

Anyway Sovieshu's regression is the best arc in my opinion. It flows very well with the main timeline. Not a dream rather continuation of the main story. It happens after Sovieshu retired as an emperor and Lari is preparing for the coronation. In a way, it can be interpreted as the main ending too.

Finally the novel has come to its end.

I was literally just making a post about her when I got the ask, but! Headcanons first. Some of those will make sense only if you've read the book, sorry, I couldn't help myself. :P

Doric:

She dedicates about an hour per day for "Tiefling care". It's normal self care but with the additions of cleaning her horns and applying the balm she uses when needed.

Some nights, if she isn't feeling tired, she spends some time training the strength and dexterity of her tail.

Speaking of her tail, she can now hang from it. The next time she needed Dartha's ferry services, she took the change to flex on Adar.

She has developed a habit of politely poking her friends with her tail.

While she loves the full party as much as her elven family, she has gotten the closest to Kira and Holga.

She's always up for Kira's invisibility medallion related shenanigans.

She loves berries.

When anxious, she rolls her tail around her right leg and squeezes.

When meeting a species of animal for the first time, she likes to spent a couple days observing it from afar.

While she can swim well enough now, she still holds a phobia of deep water. She feels much safer if she's in the water with a friend, and then doesn't mind it as much.

When she gets really annoyed by the party, she points her tail threateningly at them. It quieted them down really fast when Edgin refused to shut up and was made an example of how hard an annoyed Tiefling's tail can slap.

She really enjoys races in the woods. Specifically, races with Wild Shaping allowed (avian creatures banned). Her favourite technique is turning to a panther, rushing up to about the middle of a tree and leaping from tree to tree, Wild Shaping to various animal forms as needed.

She generally enjoys being at high places.

After the events of the movie, her first solo trip was to go and track down the lonely Owlbear she met. Poor thing was still in the area she had left it, and Doric spent a week or so guiding it further north, to an environment more appropriate for its physiology.

Sorry for the purists, but I used several translators and dictionaries for Gimli's song, so my translation is probably very flawed. But the important thing is the meaning, right? 

When Legolas woke up this morning, Gimli was, like every morning, still asleep against him. 

He watched him fondly, he always looked so peaceful when he was sleeping. He decided not to wake him up, they had time and no one was waiting for them anywhere.

The elf slowly moved away so as not to wake up his beloved, but Gimli, even though he did not wake up, gave a little grunt.

Legolas leaned over and kissed him gently on the forehead.

"Sleep, Nîn Meleth."

He got up and revived the fire to heat a pot of water before going to the nearby river to do his cleansing.

Then when he returned, seeing that his dwarf was still asleep, he sat down by the fire and began to sing softly, closing his eyes, enjoying the feel of the wind in his hair

"Good morning my beloved, what do the words of this beautiful song mean?"

Gimli's voice startled him and he opened his eyes to see him get up and walk over to him.

Arriving near Legolas, Gimli sat down beside him, took his hand and brought it to his lips.

"Hello Gimli," Legolas replied with a smile, "You're really going to have to learn Elvish, you know?"

Gimli grumbled, "I know the words of love, the insults and the polite expressions, that's good enough."

Legolas chuckled softly and replied, "That song meant, My heart shall see the light, our hearts shall be forever.  Go forth, rest in dreamland, I’ll soon be there. Wait for me, my love, you know I’m here  to join you in dreams. You have nothing to fear."

Gimli nodded and said with a smile, "Hmm maybe I should delve into the Elvish language actually."

Legolas stood up, took two bowls, filled them with the now heated water and added a few leaves before setting them down in front of them and sitting down next to Gimli again.

"And you, Nîn Meleth, I never hear you sing, don't you have any songs to share?"

"Yes I do, but...", Gimli stopped and shook his head, "I really can't sing. You wouldn't want to do this to yourself."

Legolas looked at him with a tender expression and insisted, "I bet you would. Please my Gimli, for me, sing something. Anything you want."

Gimli sighed because it was impossible for him to resist when Legolas looked at him like that.

He cleared his throat and turning his gaze to the fire, he began to sing.

Unable to bear Legolas' silence, Gimli turned to him and said sheepishly, "I told you I couldn't sing."

Legolas snapped out of his silence, raised his hand to cup Gimli's cheek and whispered, "My silly dwarf, always belittling yourself. That was beautiful. However, although I understood a few words, would you mind telling me what she meant?"

Gimli leaned his cheek into Legolas' hand and recited, " You want to pack your bags, something small, take what you need and we disappear. Without a trace we'll be gone. The moon and the stars, they will follow our path and then, when we get to the ocean, we are going to take a boat to the end of the world . You and me together could do anything, my beloved "

"Indeed, you and me together could do anything," Legolas whispered then grabbed Gimli's face and leaned in to kiss him. It was a long, deep kiss.

Since I talked about Gideon and Pyko, I wanted to back up and talk about Dartha a little bit.

I had a lot of ideas for her, including a Lassorian but bigger, but there was something amusing about her being her like, some lady in yoga pants. She is that lady at Starbucks who is being passive aggressive to the barista. She is in a Hobby Lobby bickering over prices. She is the worst and a kind of worst people tend to recognize.

I have a background in management, and at her base, she's based on toxic management. She knows just the right words to not cross certain lines, but her contempt for those who helped make her money is palpable. She works microagressions and mean humor.

So why dolls? Her concept was reverse-engineered. I pictured her as a Z-List villain from some forgotten back issue of Rocket Raccoon comics, like some little old lady with an army of robot dolls. And then the thought was "what would that translate to in the 2020s"? So a maniac with an obsession for dolls was born! Also, in my real life, I'm a doll collector, and that can be an insane world to be a part of.

She has no sad backstory; her family was supportive and successful, she has no trauma to speak of. She's just a bully who is creative, smart, and capable, and finds treating living beings like playthings *fun*. At her core Dartha is like most bullies -- pretty spineless! So her true form is based on a banana slug. This is based on a real mascot for a college, the Banana slugs.

Dartha was originally supposed to meet her end, but she was well recieved, I had fun with her, she was well received, and after an afternoon of watching "Bluey" with my nieces, specifically some Muffin-heavy episodes, I realized there's things worse than death. Namely, being cared for by a small and enthusiastic child. It's everything someone like her deserves.

👉 Mangę "Star Wars. Mandalorianin" dostarczyło na polski rynek wydawnictwo Egmont. Jaką historię nam serwuje?

💬 5 lat po śmierci Dartha Vadera niedobitki Imperium cały czas działają w ukryciu. Przez to wciąż nie można liczyć na pokój w galaktyce. Samotny łowca, Mandalorianin, poszukuje dobrze płatnego zlecenia. Kiedy na takie trafia, okazuje się, że zleceniodawcą jest Imperium. Nasz bohater ma pojmać tajemniczego osobnika - żywego lub martwego. Jedyne, co Mandalorianin wie na jego temat, to jego wiek. Nagroda jest spora, więc nasz łowca długo się nie zastanawia i wyrusza na poszukiwania.

📙 Tomik składa się z 4 rozdziałów. Tekstu do czytania jest niewiele, za to można nacieszyć oczy naprawdę staranną kreską. Postaci wyglądają realistycznie a tła są bogate.

👌 Naprawdę przyjemnie mi się to czytało i chętnie sięgnę po kolejny tom. Koniecznie dajcie znać, co myślicie na temat tej mangi! 👀
