What is this?

Maul Week is a fanwork event focused on Darth Maul from the Star Wars franchise. It is low-pressure and open to all!

What is the timeline?

The event will be running from April 30 to August 5, 2023, with all fanworks posted from July 30 to August 5, 2023. Here is the detailed schedule:

Submissions: April 30 - May 12  Voting: May 14 - May 26  Reveals: May 28  Posting: July 30 - August 5

Dates and times will generally be 12:01 AM UTC.

What kind of content is accepted?

Everything! You can submit any form of creative fanwork you can think of. We welcome all forms of writings (fanfic, headcanons, poetry, song lyrics, etc.), ‘fanarts’ (traditional art, digital art, photography, knitting, cooking, music, etc.) and works in progress! For example, digital art includes drawings, paintings, gifsets, edits, fanmixes… Everything you can think of.

Do you accept late submissions?

We do; we understand that life can get busy! If you want to participate but realize you can’t post at the right time, we still accept submissions throughout the month of August.

Which platforms are allowed?

You can post anywhere you want; we accept submissions to the AO3 collection and will be reblogging creations on Tumblr. If you wish to post something on other platforms such as Twitter, Instagram or else, you can ask the maulweek tumblr to post a link to your creation on your behalf. In continuation to the touch starved Maul

It goes both ways. He can’t get enough of your touch and he can’t resist touching you.

That fact alone...he can touch you...it’s thrilling. You want him to touch you, you want to be near him.

So he will touch you.

Sometimes it’s just him running his fingers over your wrist, he can sense your heart beating faster when he does this. Not fear...excitement and joy from his touch.

You lower yourself slowly and with care. You raise your head back and gasp at how full you feel. His lovely cry is music to you.

A start of a lovely orchestra of moans and groans.

Honey gold eyes so gentle and full of love. You cry out I love yous as you cum. Maul follows suit and stares at you all the while, a cry escaping his lips. He doesn’t release you from his grip. Oh he can’t.

You come down from you high and still in the tight embrace over him. Maul doesn’t want to let his Starlight out of his arms.

Nor do you. You want to stare into those golden morning eyes longer. 

Another string of I love yous come from your lips and Maul purrs with each one and begins to move you up and down whispering praise and love.

So much touch starved Maul...

Having his SO seated behind him as he’s working, or at least trying to. Your chin on his shoulder and looking at the data pad in his hands. He hasn’t moved from this section of the document.

Well, not since you have one hand lazily tracing over the markings on his chest and the other hand just going up and down his arm. He had decided not to wear the arm gauntlets today. You couldn’t help but trace his markings here as well.

You hear his breath hitch just a bit as you move your hand just a bit lower on his chest or have your fingers circle on his flesh.

“You haven’t moved from here.” You whisper into his ear. He is brought back to the present to realize you are right...

You stop tracing the markings.
