Darkside Disney Princesses: Tiana

Guys, I'm so sorry I meant to write out a whole thing for Tiana too cuz I love her (heck yeah, Lousiana gals) but Real Life threw another wrench my way and atm I'm too tired to do writing, so this also might be the last Darkside Disney Princess :(

But my basic idea was that instead of Charlotte taking her aside when she trips at the party after hearing she doesn't get the restaurant after all, Charlotte is distracted by the faux Prince Naveeen and so Dr. Facilier, seeing a desperate soul and never one to pass up an opportunity for a deal, swoops in, takes Tiana aside and starts laying out his whole sales pitch.

And Tiana is angry and tired and feeling humilated enough to make a deal. Hard work hasn't seemed to get her anything but emptiness and disappointed in the end, maybe it is ok for her to use an easy out. Just once.

She doesn't outright wish for the other buyer to die of course, she doesn't want that. She just wants them to be unable to outbide her on the property.

But voodoo dolls are just so convenient for the good doctor.

And so then, of course, she's in his pocket. The guilt over inadvertently causing a man's death and then benefiting from it, is ripe stuff for blackmail, plus once you make one deal, it's so easy to make another amd another whenever things start to look prickly. Plenty of people in Louisiana arn't happy about a black woman running a major business, and are willing to cause trouble in all sorts of ways.

And having some untraceable trouble come back their way is just so much faster--and satisfying--then trying to fight back clean.

Of course its not all bumping off bigots and bad critics. The good doctor knows so many well connected clients who'd be willing to help the restaurant out in less magical but equally prosperous ways--in exchange for some favors here and there, some permanent table seats shall we say? Use of a backroom or account book here or there.

After a while, it just becomes more expident to have the good doctor on the premises, a permanent background fixture at the increasingly high-end restaurant, with its increasingly shady bunch of wealthysharing his skills with so many of Tiana's willing patrons.

Between his front there and his puppet prince Laurence splashing his now orphaned wife's cash towards him whenever he needs, Dr Facilier's doing more than alright for himself. At this rate, with all the souls he's collecting, he'll be paying off his debts in no time. What Lousiana (and Tiana herself) looks like with all this voodoo and increased shady dealings...well, thankfully, that's just the Darkside verse's problem...

Leia Organa & Darth Vader

I have always thought there´s so much potential there honestly.

Just looking at the few scenes of them together in a New Hope, the first thing Leia said to Vader was "Lord Vader only you would be so bold" or "Tarkin´s loyal dog Vader" while Vader was like "This isn´t one of your mercy missions Princess" and the way he says "You are part of the rebel alliance and a traitor" is full of emotion, he´s pissed she´s part of the rebel alliance but he isn´t treating her as an enemy yet, to his enemies he´s extremely cold, only says the bare minimum of words and doesn´t hold back when fighting them, with Leia he´s acting as if she´s someone he knew and feels dissapointed they joined the alliance.

It´s obvious they have seen each other before, most probably on the Senate, for Leia Vader´s isn´t that "mysterious right hand of the Emperor whose presence means death" he´s someone she can be sassy or insult to his face without inmediate consequences given her diplomatic inmunity. In fact I think the reason Alderaan´s destruction took her competely by surprise was because she didn´t expect the Empire to actually declare her and her world as enemies of the state, because that didn´t happen in her previous missons.

Now contrast this with Vader and Leia on Empire Strikes Back and they are definitely enemies and no, they are no talking about it any longer. Leia doesn´t have to say anything, she hates Vader with a passion and Vader doesn´t try to justify himself to her about Alderaan because while he was agaisn´t the order of destroying it(In fact Tarkin made the decision on his own, without consulting anyone) despite the fact Vader hated the whole idea of the Death Star, he still didn´t stop the destruction of the planet and Leia is now part of a guerrilla group looking to end the Empire, they don´t have anything to talk about anymore but curiously, she was the only one left alone on cloud city.

But once Leia learns from Luke they are twins and Vader is their father, after the shock left her, she says "Somehow I have always know" wow, why isn´t disney doing anything with this?, Leia has all the right to be furious at Vader for not noticing she was his daughter but Vader at this point had decades mourning Padme and their kid, who he thought was going to be a girl, Padme was buried with her baby bump, by doing this, Yoda, Obi-Wan and Bail effectively made Vader believe he killed his wife and his baby, I know they did this to hide them from the Emperor but Vader would see it in a different way, I don´t think Anakin thinks he ever abandoned his kids, given the chance, dark side or not, jedi or not, Anakin valued family over both Jedi and Sith, he gave up the darkside and his literal kingdom to protect them, he would have never abandoned his kids if he knew they were alive.

I think this is also the reason why Vader insisted on calling Leia "Princess" "Alderaan´s Princess" even after Alderaan´s destruction, this is his way of putting distance between them, "She´s Organa´s daughter" no matter what similarities he saw between her and Padme or between her and himself, he can´t allow himself the delusion of his daughter possibly being alive, it hurts too much more than his other hurts, what if it´s just his own mind playing tricks to him? but if this is true, this would mean people used Padme´s funeral to make him believe his child was dead and that his Master lied to him about Padme´s death and he probably can´t deal with that emotionally without going completely insane, he only manages to do that with Luke once after two decades of distance.

Going back to Leia, once she learned about Vader and her blood links, she can´t deal with that either, she manages to deny it and go on with her life but unlike Vader and Luke, she never got closure about any of this, she never got the oportunity to at least scream at him all her hurts like she did in legends, this is why on this instance I prefer Lengeds, Anakin´s Force Ghost went to Leia to ask her forgiveness for fear of her falling to the darkside and didn´t leave until she screamed at him to leave her alone and never come back, as strange as that may sound, that moment allowed legends Leia start to heal and let go of her hate without justifiying her father, she even learned about his childhood on Tatooine.

The mere fact he appeared for her, to tell her he was worried for her, wanted her to be happy let go of her hate, even if he was never forgiven, meant he recognized her as his daughter and that his loving Luke didn´t mean he loved her any less or that he would have not die for her like he did for Luke.

But in the current canon, their relationship stayed completely buried/ignored like an open wound until she was forced to deal with that because the Senate found out about it and because her Son fell to the darkside and still she didn´t manage to make anything about it, except trust what Luke said to her about him because that can help her deal with her lose of her own Son and imo it´s completely OOC for Force Ghost Anakin to stay out of one of his kids life if it would help her confront him at least once, I honestly don´t see how they justify it because it doesn´t make sense. Anakin Skywalker isn´t one to stay out of his loved ones life if he can do something to help them, this is one of the reasons why the current canon about them is so dissapointing to me, but well there´s still fanfic. :) I just have too many feelings about them.

not every side is good or redeemable. whereas MOST have good qualities (janus advocating for thomas' GOOD selfishness, virgil being thomas' self preservation in a sense), others may not.

the sides physical appearence actually differ greatly from thomas' outside of the fact that theyre all masc presenting. their appearence changes based on how they feel themselves to be, ie roman being taller, broader, and tanner than the others due to his elevated sense of vanity and want to be prince-like. these appeared can NOT be changed at will, and are more like how theyve "grown"

each side has their own personality outside of being apart of.. thomas'... erm. personality..

all the "darksides" have animal like features that coincide with their purpose! like janus' snake features! virgils are cat features, large ears, larger eyes, a tail, etc. remus has rat like features lol

the "light sides" get along with MOST "dark sides"

(almost) every side has functions outside of their "core" trait. for instance, virgil represents a lot of thomas' overwhelming feelings, not just his anxiety. like if thomas becomes too excited, thats something virgil feels. its commonly misunderstood that patton is the one harboring every emotion of thomas' outside of anxiety, but patton actually feels anxious too! its like, patton creates these feelings and feels them first, but if they become overwhelming for him they shift to virgil. the reason virgil was created in the first place was because patton always found it difficult to control anxiety and fear in moderation.

physical ; - black catlike features (ears, sharp teeth, tail, claws) that represent how he is viewed as being bad luck, an unwanted guest - longish hair, down to the base of his neck and his jaw line, almost angled like a mullet, black at the roots with purple ends/highlights, its fluffy enough that he can hide his ears in it - darkest eyes of the group, representing how he finds himself to be a particularly dark side of thomas, reflecting the lack of self worth and anxiety he feels as the representation of anxiety himself - pale with freckles from "sun damage", the freckles being his way of showing how theres still some light in him (as in, he can still spend enough time in the sun (bright side of life) for it to cause "blemishes"), pale because he thinks it fits his aesthetic of goth guy LMFAO - shortest of the group, representing how small he feels in comparison to the others (how his anxiety makes him feel small and scrutinized), skinny as well, but muscular in a lithe way, showing how powerful he is even if he doesnt look like much - large eyes (not comically so, but almost in a cute way), a soft look to his face, almost disney princess like, his physical forms way of representing how unthreatening anxiety can seem to those who arent experiencing him. eyes are larger to almost show how alert he always is. - instead of eyeshadow (which he does wear, but not as intensely), he has tired bruises under his eyes general ; - virgil is extremely sensitive to sounds, loud noises causes immediate anxiety, hes hyper vigilant and easily startled - virgil is technically both a light and dark side. anxiety can be good and bad. whenever he becomes too much (frequently and typically unwillingly), his voice begins to shift and become darker, as well as his general appearence and vibe around him becoming a lot darker. its as though his panic is connected to the world around him. hes also more ambiguous due to him encompassing all of thomas' overwhelming feelings rather than just anxiety, even positive ones. (its unfortunate that his overwhelm tends to turn into anxiety but you take what you get) - virgils core function is to be thomas' fear and self preservation, he just manifests in a way thats too much because he worries that if he isnt overbearing thomas will get hurt.

• Logan used to only wear her hair in a ponytail. She wanted to keep it out of her face since she found it distracting when she worked. Romy constantly complained that Logan’s hair style was boring, and Logan got tired of the complaining. Logan goes to Patli’s room to ask for hair style advice since Pat is constantly putting her hair up in different styles. Pat introduced Logan to space buns and added little star hair clips. “Since you really like space, I thought this style would suit you” Patli said with a smile. Logan looked at herself in the mirror and quickly fell in love with the hairstyle. She has worn her hair like that ever since.

• Reem used to have really long hair but she didn’t really brush it and take care of it well. Janna got tired of having to help Reem brush out the knots when her hair got really tangled and suggested that Ree should cut her hair short. Reem immediately agreed and Jan helped with the hair cut.

• As kids, Romy and Reem would play dress up together. Romy would wear a Disney princess outfit and Reem would dress as a Disney villain.

• Back when Vi was a Darkside, she and the others would have horror movie nights and paint each others’ nails afterwards to calm down after the film. After being accepted by the light sides, Vi discovers Patli and Romy paint each others nails too. They offer to paint Vi’s nails for her, but the idea of anyone else doing this activity with her feels wrong.

• In terms of appearances, Romy and Reem both wear sparkly skirts with off the shoulder shirts. Romy’s emblem is on her shirt’s breast pocket and Reem’s is on the back of her skirt. Their skirts have pockets because everyone deserves pockets.

• Romy’s hair goes past her shoulders and is very soft. She puts it up into a messy bun whenever she goes on a quest in the imagination.

• Logan wears a polo shirt and pants. She wears her signature tie and glasses still and her emblem is still on her shirt.

• Patli wears a light blue dress with white shorts and a cardigan around her shoulders. She also wears white socks that have cat ears at the top of them. The light blue dress has little daisies on it. She wears her hair in pigtails or braids.

• Janna wears a black dress that goes a bit past her knees. She also has a yellow scarf she wears around her neck because she gets cold easily. Her hair goes up to her shoulders. She still wears her signature bowler hat.

• Vi wears a beanie, light purple t-shirt, ripped black jeans, a black patched up hoodie. Her hair is also short and she has side bangs to cover one of her eyes.

• Vi has a collection of fidget rings because Logan gets her a new one on her birthday each year. Vi’s grateful she’ll always have one to fidget with.

• Logan gets a new tie every birthday from Vi. Vi has Romy help her design and make the ties. When Reem discovers this gift tradition she decides to make Logan a bow tie. Reem puts little morning star images on the bow tie so Logan will be reminded of who made the bow tie every time she wears it.

Ooooh I am W E A K for NOIR Leon in Re2remake. But!

I am kind of a basic gurl, too and RE4 Leon with that leather jacket will ALWAYS be peak design for me!

Nostalgia be hitting really hard! Design wise, I really try to not let nostalgia speak too loud but... I cant help it. RE4 (Original) Leon just has it.

But Infinite Darkness Leon? He is a M E A L! ARGH-- There are too many good Leons! H E L P me!

So I am going with Infinite Darkness Leon AND Claire. I think there they did them too fucking good! Claire is like a Disney princess with her delicate features and fun personality.

I mean, not everyone can follow up with Leon's sarcastic comments, except for Claire! HAH.

But Claire with short hair in Revelations 2 is SUCH A MILF! HMMMMFFF

Sherry, Honestly? I am staying with Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles design.

In RE2Remake she reminds me too much of what Ashley Graham would look like as a child and that is... Weird 🤣

Theories and Spoilers for Twisted Wonderland/Kingdom Hearts series ahead! Don't say I didn't warn you!

Yuu/MC/The Player is a Twisted version of Sora.

Alright so preface Kingdom Hearts is canonically linked with Disney canon and Twisted Wonderland is based on Disney movie lore so I can mix the two and no one can tell me otherwise I'll explain later

So chapter 6 apparently just finished when I'm writing this so chapter 7 will be next with Diasomnia but will the story continue past 7? Will other students overblot or maybe will the staff? Possibly Grim too? I heard a rumour about us meeting some more RSA students but I'll believe it when I see it.

So I got an idea.

Other people have written about the MC overblotting in fanfics right (psst @wolken-himmel has a really good overblot fic go check it out) and I've seen some art of a potential Grim overblot which looked really cool but I raise you this.

If the player/Yuu/MC were to overblot, I imagine it looks pretty similar to Anti Form Sora from Kingdom Hearts 2

Yeah this guy. Remember playing KHII and you try to use a drive form and this monstrosity pops out instead so you just run around killing enemies like a damn feral monkey?

And what if their overblot monster was like Darkside? But like more Twisted-like.

Now the logistics of overblotting state that it's caused by severe distress and overuse of magic, but because I say so what if something happens to us and we suddenly gain the ability to overblot?

@wolken-himmel hopefully you don't mind me referencing your Overblot!MC fic but they came up with MC eating one of the black stones that gets left behind after the overblots and then can use magic.

So what if something like that happened to the MC? They just get so fed up with everything and finally lash out but instead of still being able to talk and communicate with people they just turn into pure corruption and malice and rage. There's no light left in their eyes as they thrash around like a wild dog until someone subdues them or they eventually run out of juice.

Look if Donald Duck can technically be the most powerful white mage in Square Enix lore than I can bring Kingdom Hearts to Twisted Wonderland okay I will not stop until Disney themselves bust down my door.

So back to my point of us the player being a Twisted!Sora.

We got yoinked into Twisted Wonderland by complete chance, right? The same thing happens to Sora in KHI on the Destiny Islands, which he then travels to the Disney worlds and helps the characters go through their story. We have lived through the events of;

The only Disney stories we haven't played through yet are

All of these (except for PatF) have been used as worlds and/or featured in a KH game. We can also argue that since we cannot use magic that Grim can be argued to be a de facto Keyblade since any magic is performed by him as a proxy. And in the first game Sora couldn't use magic at all without the Keyblade before he learned how to use his powers.

Now granted Sora himself didn't go through every Disney world by himself since Ventus was the one to travel through Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White in Birth By Sleep but they are connected by Sora's heart. So he's done so in spirit through Ventus since they share the same heart.

I really haven't seen anyone take this approach yet (unless it was in Japanese but I can't read japanese so I don't know) but I know I haven't seen it in English. (Unless someone else did write it and I'm just stupid) but for now I will claim this theory.

Character Inspiration

Since Jinx is an original character, I’d like to talk a bit about how I went about creating him and my interpretation of Cassandra from Tangled The Series. 

From the wikipedia;

“Cassandra is a major character in the Tangled franchise. She is the deuteragonist of the Disney Channel film, Tangled: Before Ever After, and the tritagonist of its follow-up series. She is the biological daughter of Mother Gothel who was abandoned as a child when Gothel kidnapped Princess Rapunzel and hid away from the world.”

As she wasn’t a villain for the whole series, pre-NRU I wanted Jinx to already go on an arc that would put him in the same headspace while he was actually at school. By season 3, Cassandra’s major motivation for turning to the darkside was (besides manipulation from the series main antagonist) her relationship to Rapunzel and how she was underestimated and overlooked by so many others in the main cast. From her perspective, she spent a very long time watching Rapunzel get rewarded for the very fact of her existence, while she fought for every scrap of respect and power. When she found out her mother was Gothel and she abandoned her to be with Rapunzel, she reached her breaking point. She was neglected by her birth mother, abandoned, raised to be a servant for the royal family, and when she tried to pursue her happiness, she was repeatedly held back by the same princess she was a servant of and who had “stolen” her mother. So naturally, she chose to lash out. 

Her story is so deeply intertwined with Rapunzel’s that I decided to give Jinx someone to compete with, his twin brother. They also embody the duality that Cass and Rapunzel represent, the moonstone and the sundrop, destruction and creation. If they were to be raised as brothers, however, there had to be a reason Jinx was treated as less than. 

The Curse

This event is derived directly from Cassandra’s feelings of being denied some great destiny and eventually coming to seize power for herself. From S3E1 “Rapunzel’s Return” Song: Crossing the Line:

“And that line between the beggars and the choosers Is a line you've never let me quite ignore How I've tried to jump that great divide But I've never got the chances you were given

You don't know how much I've been denied Well, I'm not being patient anymore”

From a young age he was denied something so fundamental for his ability to live and thrive in the world, and is probably one of the first divisions placed between him and his brother. The talented one and the cursed one. 

His lack of magic becomes a driving reason for him to take his leave later and contact the elder witch of the wood (based on Zhan Tiri in my head) to break his curse. Over years of being overlooked, insulted, manipulated, he becomes pressured to find a solution rather than stay trapped. So like Cassandra, he chooses the villain’s path (attending Night Raven) to try and change his circumstances. He desperately wanted to become more powerful because for far too long he wasn’t given his due. 

An Orphan

Both Cassandra and Rapunzel’s stories hinge on the absence of parents and them being raised by other people. However, I don’t really enjoy stories where the evil guardian is totally unrelated to the children*. It is rarer, in my experience, to see stories where the biological family is bad, so I killed off the parents and sent them to live with their grandmother.

*This is also a set-up in the Tangled movie that plays into antisemitic tropes. Whether intentional or not, Mother Gothel has some features people have identified as Jewish (dark curly hair, dark eyes, hooked nose, etc.) in direct contrast to a blonde haired, green eyed protagonist. Her stealing a baby for her own selfish gain seems like an interpretation of the blood libel stereotype. I seek to amend this in my lore by making them blood related, not portraying their grandmother’s appearance as a caricature, and giving Jinx and Lucian some of the same features.

Darkside Disney Princesses: Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty I decided to take a twist on the whole Maleficent movie relationship thing.

So for this AU, Briar Rose, instead of running up to her room in despair after hearing she's a princess and has to leave her whole life behind, instead runs out into the woods. And before the fairies can find her--they're still keeping their magic small to keep their location secret, not knowing its already been compromised--she runs into Maleficent.

Of course, she has no idea who the wicked fairy is. No one has ever told her about her. All she knows is that a beautiful and powerful being of the forest is before her, but Rose has never known real wickedness, and perhaps she's feeling somewhat rebellious towards her aunts, so she begins talking to the strange woman when Maleficent --who likes to play with her food-- feigna concern asks Rose to tell her what's made her so upset.

So Rose tells her about how she just found out her whole life is a lie, and how she'll never see the first boy she ever met again, and how she doesn't want to go and be princess with a king and queen she doesnt know, parents who gave her up for some reason intead of bothering to raise her themselves.

If she had had time to process her grief, and the promise of not being separated from her new found love, Rose might have been able to get over these resentments, spoken in the heat of the moment, more quickly.

But Maleficent decides that fanning the flames of he Princess's broken heart and trust, playing on her anger towards Stefan and the three fairies, could be so much more entertaining than just killing the girl outright.

So she takes Rose by the arm, and back with her to her palace, where she promises her the truth about all her questions, and the answers to how to solve all her problems...

Time passes, and the princess never arrives on her 16th birthday.

The king and queen are distraught. Relations breakdown between the human kingdom and the fairy court, as the fairies failed in their duties to guard the human girl, and they are called back into the Veil of the Fairies, leaving the mortals to fend for themselves.

Then relations break down between the human kingdoms when Prince Phillip goes missing as well, vanished into the forest, never to be seen again.

And then others begin to vanish. A farmer here, a wandering knight there. A whole group of children one moonless night. As more disappear, many more begin to flee entirely. Fields are left untilled, houses abandoned, borders undefended.

Tales soon cross the land as the refugees take flight from Stefan and Hubert's kingdoms. Tales of a dark presence that haunts the shadows of the woods, stealing away those who are foolish enough to wander beneath the trees. A fiend who takes the shape of a beautiful forest sprite, with a voice like a nightnagle. She causes all who hear it to fall under her spell, wandering into the shadows like they're walking in a dream, one from which they will never wake...

Summary: during a movie night, Remus crashes the party

Another friday night had come, and the light sides had gathered in the living room for their weekly movie night. A few weeks ago, their DVD player had broken down and Patton's copy of sleeping beauty had gotten stuck and wouldn't play. In an attempt to save the night, Patton stood at the center and told the story, as people did before tv and radio. He even gave everyone a role in the story. Everyone enjoyed it so much that they continued to tell stories of their favorite fairytales and disney movies. It sort of became a new tradition. Logan and Roman had taken turns being the storyteller- they told cinderella and the swan princess. Virgil and even janus had shown interest of telling a tale of their own in the future.

Remus never really showed up for the movie nights, although Patton, with some persuading from Janus, had extended an invitation, promising he'd be welcome, Remus knew they were all more relieved when he didn't. he knew because he often slinked around the edges of his mind and listen to them have their fun. But this movie night would be different since the green creative got an idea.

Remus sauntered into the living room, his morning star holstered in his belt, one of the spikes nearly whacking Roman on the knee. " do you have to wear that everywhere?" Remus turned on a heel and gave his brother a toothy grin " who knows when someone will need a good morning smack! although it's almost nighttime. maybe I should get an evening star?"

Janus appeared from the kitchen " Remus! no weapons. you're not in the imagination" Patton appeared next to him with two bottles of sodas. " oh, hiya kiddo. Are you here for movie night? we're watching Tangled." Janus continued " you can stay and watch the movie with us but only if you behave." Remus rolled his eyes. " then its a good thing im not staying."  Virgil had sat on the couch arm next to Roman " then what do you want." Remus coughed a high pitched bark of a laugh. " ooh romaine, you better get a handle on your emo. " to which roman and Virgil flushed as red as Roman's sash. at the same time, they shouted " HES/IM NOT MY/HIS EMO!" Remus and Janus laughed and even Logan cracked a smile that  he hid behind his book. " well if you don't plan on staying for the duration of the movie, how can we help you?" Logan asked. " well, i had heard you lot had been putting your own twist on your bare-ly tales like an extra bloody blood orange. I figure id give it a shot in the butt!" he said crossing his arms. Roman jumped off the couch " Nonsense, our retellings always follow the story arc, the hero is triumphs and the villains are vanquished." he said while striking a princely pose. Remus rolled his eyes as he shoved Romans foot off of the couch, causing him to almost lose his balance. " that. that sound more boring than the routine of life. also, its completely unfair to the villains" by then, everyone else had drifted into the room.

" I mean- they're villains, They cursed the princesses, kept them locked in towers, some of them even kill the characters! There's no justifying their behavior."

Remus smiled wide and with a twitch of his mustache, " challenge accepted" He snapped his fingers. The whole room blacked out, there were also a few gasps plus a recognizable scream that Remus laughed at. " turn the lights back!" Roman demanded. with another snap, the lights did return, but low-lit along with a screen and projector set up as Remus stood before his captive audience. " alright, snores and bores- and Janni-" he wiggled his fingers in a wave to his fellow Darkside. " you're all about to learn a lesson. Time to play a game I like to call, Villians Advocate."

Remus clicked the remote behind his shoulder, all while keeping eye contact with the group and the screen lit up to show sleeping beauty in her bed, but instead of peacefully sleeping, her skin was grayed and her eyelids were almost see-through, showing thin veins in both red and blue. next to her on the split screen showed maleficent, posed regally with her pet raven diablo perched on her staff.

" the mistress of all evil. who can share with the class what maleficent is known for?" " she cursed aurora," Roman answered quickly, freeing his need to show his expertise in all things, Disney. " yep." Remus agreed " she cursed the princess when she was a baby. totally badass."

Patton scoffed. " how? she was a baby, she couldn't defend herself!" " of course not, let's assume the king and queen have known about Maleficent and her powers over all darkness. you would think they would treat her with more respect. less she gets bitter for not being invited to a baby's presentation. if they were to show up at Mal's castle with an invitation personally, she could have given little Rosie the sickest gift ever! something way more useful than beauty or singing."

Roman fell back against the couch acting offended as the others rolled their eyes at the display. Janus spoke up " I actually agree with you. being excluded from events is enough for anyone to turn evil." Logan made a note in his book he pulled out when Remus began, being fond of a good PowerPoint presentation. Remus clicked the remote again, and the image changed.

"Be Prepared!" Roman broke out into song, while Janus swung his crook just as Roman ducked. " don't interrupt" Janus hissed. that just earned him an eye roll.

" Exactly!" Remus announced. " Scars sins include fratricide as well as attempted nephew murder, oh and the almost extinction of a whole ecosystem." Roman sat on the edge of his chair as he asked " so how would you positively swing this one? bother O' mine?"

Remus cackled at the nickname " with a little animal science!" oh, know-gan…" Remus called in an off-tune sing-song voice. The logical side had been paying attention the whole time and simply placed his notepad on his lap.

" when it comes to the kings of the jungle-"

" Actually, lions live in the open plains of the Sahara. if taken literally, Bengal tigers would be considered " kings" of the jungle, although wild beasts have no sense of hierarchy."

Everyone, except for Patton groaned and Remus flitted his mustache " Can we stick to the topic, deep blue? I want to know what the color of a lion's mane has to say regarding their health." logan nodded and adjusted his glasses " typically, lions with the darker mane are considered more healthy and have a higher strength,"

" and we all know who has the darker mane in this feature…"

" that still doesn't excuse what he did to his family" Patton countered. "that's where your wrong pity- Patton. once again, it comes to the parents' fault!" he pulled out a book that he was obviously reading upside-down. " Ahadi and Uru had two cubs. They named them Mufasa, which loosely translates to King and Taka. meaning waste, or garbage. and in my humblest opinion.." " doubtful-" Janus sighs, but Remus ignored. " If his parents had trusted him with the responsibility, he could have been a great king. but we'll never know because they're all dead!" he said cackling.

" Can we just move on, we still have a movie to watch after this." Remus cracked his knuckles and grinned wide. " okey dokey, let's have a speed round"

so the sides started to fire off villain names and Remus gave his retorts.

" Captain hook?" asked Patton- " peter pan literally kills the lost boys if they grew up. I would hold a grudge against him too."

" Ursula?" Virgil said. " 1. she is the sibling of king Trident and daughter of Poseidon. That makes her a princess, 2, she was kicked out of Atlantica for who knows what. 3. when her niece comes to her for legs so she could run away, Ursula could have given her goat legs. but she didn't. she got legs that matched her body. " then why did she try and sabotage her after helping her? it was all a motive to steal the crown." Roman fired back.

" BECAUSE- she, like trident, knew what a horrible place the human world could be, she was trying to protect her family. it's not her fault ariel was too dumb to sign a contract she didn't even read." " fine! that actually- makes sense" Roman pouted. which made Remus happy. Logan added more notes to his book.

"at the beginning of the movie, mother Gothel says herself, she found the glowing flower first, just growing in the ground. It was free for anyone to use. she didn't try to dig it up, she only hid it a bit. I'll bet if someone else asked to use it, she would let them as long as it stayed available for her to use. but the king had to dig it up and destroy it to make tea. that is very selfish of him. isn't it Patton?" Remus smirked.

At this point, janus was beginning to get what Remus was trying to do and decided to join in.

" what about Dr. Facilier? surely voodoo and black magic couldn't have a positive outlook"

"that's where you're wrong, Jan-Jan the snake man!" Remus smiled to himself at the nickname. "the shadow man must have noticed how poorly Naveen was treating his servant Laurence. if you think about it, turning the prince into a frog helped everyone, at least for a while. it gave Laurence a chance to live in the limelight, while it gave Naveen a lesson that you can't depend on wealth to sail through life. it also led to his happy ever after" he gagged a bit on the words. " and he still got killed after all that."

" but he stepped on Ray the firefly!" Patton moaned. Remus was about to counter but Logan stepped in " fireflies only live for a month and a half."

Patton then jumped up from the couch "But what about the person who killed Bambi's mom?" Remus pursed his lips and shrugged " alright, let's work this out like a constipated mathematician." Remus laughed as everyone else groaned and even gagged.  "it was winter when momma bambino was" Remus made a throat-slitting motion.  Patton winced  " and know how food was scarce for all the little critters? Any humans living nearby could also be struggling to find food." Patton lowered his gaze as he thought." the big, bad, hunter could have had a family to feed. most people who hunt don't do it just for the immense fun of it" he said with a glint in his eye.

"It's easy to call anyone the villain when you're looking at the right, or in this case, the wrong perspective. except for Cruella, bat-shit crazy, and love for skinning puppies! what a woman," Remus said as roman snapped the living room back to normal. " was there a point to any of that?" Virgil asked, rubbing his eyes to the sudden explosion of brightness." Nah," he shrugged his shoulders. janus held a finger up" except maybe be more aware who you call a villain in the future. just because they look bad to you, might not be bad to someone else."

roman was the first to break the awkward silence. " well, I have to go make more popcorn since Someone ate it all" roman glared over at Virgil. " what? it was entertaining to watch your brother best you in a Disney debate."

logan nodded as the group dispersed "I agree. well done Remus. that was a well-thought-out lecture. it was almost logical."

Star Wars Characters at Disney World

Clone Wars Era Friends

Anakin and Padmé bring their kids to Disney world on a family vacation. Padmé is the type of mom that has their days planned out perfectly and Anakin just goes along with it. He does almost get into a few fights with people who cut in line but Padmé is able to calm him down.

Assuming this is a situation where the characters were plucked out of their own alternate reality and put into an alternate reality of ours, They have to keep him as far away from the Star Wars parts as possible or else he would pick fights with Kylo Ren and Darth Vader. Because him and his family turn to the Darkside? That’s crazy why would these people accuse him of that? (No that doesn’t make sense, but it’s funny.)

Luke and Leia probably argue on where they want to go and what they want to do. Luke is more interested in meeting characters where is Leia is more interested in riding rides but Padmé works it out for the both of them.

Anakin and Padmé definitely wear those matching bride and groom Mickey and Minnie ears at some point cause that’s adorable and of course they would.

Of course, I have not yet mentioned that Ahsoka, Rex, Cody, and Obi-Wan joined them on this trip. For the most part they’re in their own little group because big groups tend to make things more complicated. Sometimes they hand the kids off to each other.

Ahsoka wants to ride the biggest rides there are and Rex goes with her even though there are different things he’d like to do. It’s more about spending time with family to him.

Obi-Wan would have a lot of fun at the epcot wine and food festival. Makes sense, considering he’s had to deal with Anakin for half his life. Cody is just there to supervise him and everyone else.

Anakin and Ahsoka do join up one day to be absolute nightmares together. They don’t get kicked out of the park, but that’s not to say they didn’t come close.

BobaVader

(Set in an alternate universe from the first one lol)

Vader and Boba go together to get away. Darth Vader of course is unable to wear anything other than his suit. So through Disney World you see this big cyborg with a breathing problem wearing Ahsoka themed Minnie Mouse ears holding hands with a fairly normal, but also weirdly familiar looking guy. They are of course accompanied by two stormtroopers.

Vader just wants to ride the dumbos and the haunted mansion. Boba Fett wants to ride space mountain until he passes out. They work it out.

Vader also really really enjoys talking to the princesses. They’re just so nice and non-judgmental. Like he knows that’s their job, but it’s a breath of fresh air.

They have a good time, Boba has the foresight to keep a Vader as far away from it’s a small world as possible

Thranto

(this one could be set in either of the above universe is and it’s funny either way.)

Thrawn is the most annoying person at Disney World. He walks through the entire park, goes through every single one of the cues for every single one of the rides and character meet and greets and shows. And the entire time he’s there just looks at tiny details and evaluates the art. He also has very in-depth lectures or discussions that keep the cast members, both character actors and otherwise, very confused. There comes a point where Eli is genuinely starting to worry that Thrawn is preparing a preemptive strike against Disney.

“Oh don’t worry Eli I’m simply interested in all of the little details that go into making this “the most magical place on Earth” as they say.”

“Normally when you care about small details like that it means that you’re going to declare war against them.”

“Nonsense, why would I declare war against Disney World?”

“WHY WOULD YOU BE HAPPY WHEN SMALL WORLD BREAKS DOWN WITH YOU ON IT?!?!”

Oh yeah, about that. When they were on it’s a small world it broke down. And Thrawn enjoyed that like a crazy person. Eli was trying very hard to ram his head into Thrawn’s shoulder the entire time.

But for the most part it was pretty fun. Thrawn had the best time at galaxy’s edge. After all, he had been to black spire outpost before and the detail that they put into the park made it look exactly like the real thing. It was just like being back there without the hostility. And he tried to have a deep and intellectual conversation with Kylo Ren but quickly realized that that wasn’t going to work out. (Actually truth be told I’m pretty sure he freaked out the cast member because he figured out personal details about him that he shouldn’t have been able to figure out)

Depending on the universe, either Anakin or Vader is there at the same time. If it’s a Anakin, they stop and talk for a while and grab lunch together. If it’s Vader they pretend they do not see.

DinLuke and Family

(Set in an entirely different universe.)

Luke has Disney bounds and bucket hats galore. The entire family does actually because he got them all matching bucket hats. Han pouts about that. Ben looses his.

Grogu is very spoiled. He has his little ears sticking out the sides of the hat. He gets snacks all over the parks. And just imagine with me for a second him in a stroller. And if he’s not in the stroller he’s chasing the ducks around. The Princesses adore him so much, who wouldn’t. They are essentially that little picture perfect family going to Disney World.

And then there’s Han, Chewie, Leia, and Ben. Leia is also very organized but Han and Chewie sneak away from her several times, sometimes they bring the kid, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they bring the kid and then pass him off to Din and Luke. When that happens, Luke calls Leia immediately to make sure she knows where her child is.

Leia, when not stressed out about her unruly child and Ben, has diplomatic conversations with the princesses.

Ben has fun no matter who he’s with. He loves the Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle cruise. He was very upset to find out that he was too short to ride Space Mountain. But he was able to ride mission space and soarin’, those are fun. When he and Grogu are together they terrorize all those who come in contact with them.
