Godzilla and Maddie

Godzilla doesn't meet Maddie until after the merger and the new 'Monster Park' is almost ready to open. Emma and Mark Russell (Maddie's parents) are going through a very difficult divorce and Vivienne Graham takes her while they... sort their differences. Serizawa is Godzilla's handler/behavorist/mechanic/whatever you want to call it, and ofc introduces his Favorite Niece to his greatest creation.

Maddie is 12ish years old, and all of 4'10". Animatronic Godzilla is around 14' tall. But she's a fearless little thing, and leans right over the railing to pet G's snout.

He's smitten from the get-go. His mechanical heart belongs to her now, This Is His Child.

Freddy and Gregory

Going into canon divergence here (obviously), and having Gregory living at the 'plex for a while before he's caught by Bonnie sneaking around after hours. But Gregory is smart and has befriended the wet floor signs, who cause distractions/something to hide behind.

Bonnie is slowly believing that the 'plex is haunted bc Gregory just seems to appear and only shows up when its extremely crowded or in the dead of night. Freddy is having to go to increasing lengths to reassure Bonnie that ghosts don't exist (HA!).

Gregory is 10, and small for his age at around 4 foot nothing. Freddy is around 7'8" in this au. They meet in... similar circumstances as the game. Gregory is hiding from someone, and ended up in Freddy's stomach hatch.

Since Gregory looks like a pathetic waif of a wet cat, Freddy was immediately like "Don't worry, Small Child! I will protect you! :D" when really its everyone else that needs to be guarded from Gregory alkdal

I think that EW article is saying that Owen will be the "father of the groom" zilla. Not that TK is a groomzilla. At least that tracks with what we've seen in promos so far.

Well words do matter and the article clip clearly states father of the groomzilla. It's just super annoying to me. Weddings - have been what I do for most of my adult life.

I have worked weddings as a server, set up, decorator, planning, coordinator, and as an ordained minister - the one actually performing the ceremony & signs the license.

The way they are treating the wedding aspect of this is maddening to me at this point - due to almost 20 years in the industry.

If Tim didn't have a history of not so helpful interviews (a few from this season alone), I would add it to my suspension of belief list like the absolutely batshit 8 week time line, the fact that you have a minimum of 60 days for the divorce to be final & 30 days waiting to legally get married, look past the fact that Iris & Carlos don't meet a single qualification for annulment - which still carries the same wait times anyway. Unfortunately in the same article he said that the white supremacists were just disgruntled blue collar workers.

Everything that man says is deliberate. He knows that there are a shit ton of people that hate TK - and he panders to them with shit like this - things that can make TK look bad, hell I have already been seeing it all day.

So, like I said, words matter.

To be a groomzilla - you have to be the/a groom, just like to be the bridezilla - you have to be the bride.

It is a really simple thing to get right - getting it wrong takes work.

4x08 Coda in which our boys check in with each other.

Carlos expects to find TK waiting for him on the couch, like he usually does when Carlos is out late, but to his surprise, he's not there. He locks up, makes sure all the lights are turned off, then heads to their bedroom, where TK is curled up under the covers and sound asleep. He takes a moment to watch him, but can't indulge himself for more than s few seconds, because TK, freakishly light sleeper that he is, wakes up right then. "Carlos?" he calls out hoarsely, blinking sleep from his eyes and propping himself up on his elbow.

"Yeah, babe," he answers, smiling when TK's hand flops in his direction. 

"Why're you all the way over there?" He mutters, squinting one eye open.

Carlos grins, walks over to the bed and crawls in beside him, not bothering to change. TK wrapped himself around him immediately. "Good talk?"

He turns his head to the side, presses a kiss to TK's forehead. "Yeah, it was."

"Good," he mumbles, voice already fading.

"Hey, TK?"

"Hmmm."

Carlos lays a hand on his cheek, "can you wake up for me, just a second?"

He opens his eyes immediately, nodding. "What's up, babe?"

"You're still excited, right? For the wedding?"

TK's eyes, which have been drooping for the past few seconds, fly open and he sits up. There's an adorable frown right in between his brows, and Carlos leans forward and kisses it away.

TK's smiling at him when he pulls away, that soft ‘I'm in love’ smile that never fails to make his heart skip a beat. "Carlos, of course I'm still excited," he reassures him.

"Are you sure?"

The frown is back. "Hey, talk to me- what brought this on?"

"I don't know, you seemed more excited about the wedding before."

"Before dad butted in and became a dadzilla, you mean?" he jokes, hands finding Carlos'.

He shakes his head. "Before you found out about Iris, and I got kidnapped."

TK's eyes soften. "Carlos," he sighs. His hands find their way to either side of his neck, and he presses his lips to Carlos’ in a soft kiss. "Baby, almost losing you just made me realize that all I want is to marry you. It doesn't matter to me what we're wearing, what type of cake we're eating or what flowers are used for the centrepieces.”

He pulls away, raises an eyebrow. TK rolls his eyes. "Fine, I do care a little bit, but- like I said, as long as the day ends with us married, I won't care about anything else."

Carlos scoots closer, puts his legs on either side of TK's hips so he's all but sitting in his lap, and kisses him. It's meant to be a soft, sweet kiss, but that changes very quickly.

TK's hands find their way under his shirt, and the scrap of his nails against Carlos' back make him shiver. They both move closer at the same time, never breaking the kiss that has turned hungry. Carlos pushes TK back, isn't exactly gentle about it, and TK gets this gleam in his eyes that tells Carlos he likes it.

He takes a moment to look at him, eyes bright and happy, mouth pulled into a beautiful smile, hair a mess, and he genuinely can't believe his luck.

TK yanks him down impatiently, wraps his arm around Carlos' neck and kisses him thoroughly.

"Hey," he mumbles against TK's lips, "how mad do you think our parents will be if we eloped?"
