I’m actually a HUGE fan of both Cym-K (Narrator on the left) and SteamPoweredWerehog (Narrator on the right) Narrator designs, so one could assume that I become very extatic when I see they like my posts! Thank you both very much for enjoying my content (hopefully) as much as I enjoy yours. (As well as everyone else: you’re all great, even though you all scare me 🙃)
Fun Fact #2:
I now have about twenty screen shots of their designs for research purpose. Well, maybe not “twenty screen shots,” but it’s still an unreasonable amount! (3 each…)
Fun Fact #3:
I based a few of my design choices on bits of their Narrators, so ThAN kSFor lEtTIng mEgEet aWaY wIThtHE fT!!1!@! Llol!! !
Am I the only one that feels like Kazui's MV is like a newspaper?
The dots texture used for his MV reminds me a lot of them. Also the fact that his MV has a lot of text, in french and english.
The colours mainly used are magenta, cyan, yellow, black, the other colours green, orange and red being a result of the combination of this primary colours.
"There are two basic color models that art and design students need to learn in order to have an expert command over color, whether doing print publications in graphic design or combining pigment for printing. These two color models are:
Light Color Primaries (Red, Green, Blue)
Pigment Color Primaries (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow)"
I will write some information of pigment colour Primaries (you can skip it).
"The primary colors of pigment (also known as subtractive primaries) are used when producing colors from reflected light; for example, when mixing paint or using a color printer. The primary colors of pigment are magenta, yellow, and cyan (commonly simplified as red, yellow, and blue).
Pigments are chemicals that absorb selective wavelengths—they prevent certain wavelengths of light from being transmitted or reflected. Because paints contain pigments, when white light (which is composed of red, green, and blue light) shines on colored paint, only some of the wavelengths of light are reflected."
However aren't these four colours quite familiar?
Exactly! They are used at the very end of each page from the newspaper!
And they are used a lot in the MV:
Yellow + Blue = Green
Magenta + Yellow = Red (depends on how much you put of each colour)
Magenta + Cyan = Dark blue
Magenta + Yellow = Orange (again it depends on how much you put of each colour)
The jazz, the old car, the old phone are also clinging to this idea of a newspaper.
Considering that this MV confirms us that Kazui was a cop, it will be funny if he is thinking of Es as a detective. It's like we are reading a newspaper with all the important events that happened in his life and we try to keep track of him and find information, anything that would be considered suspect. And also the fact that he tells Es to uncover his lies and to discover his true feelings about his murder at the end of the VD...

It took me…. A While… to figure out what to do for this prompt…
But I ended up drawing ink having stumbled upon dream before he was freed from the stone.
I figure that while stone erodes over time, it’s still a material that lasts longer than many others do, hopefully fitting the vibe for immortal (and that both characters are technically Demi gods(I think???))
Tried to do this in a more painterly style than the other two so far which have been a bit more graphic.
Who doesn't love an ageless, paranoid astral elf with memory issues? (Other than the rest of aers civilization which abandoned aer for untold eons to watch for a sign that would never come. Oop...)
