Cybernetics Assassins AU
This is like a very weird brainrot of mine. So this AU was born from putting 2 of my OTPs into very stylish clothing and thus a dystopian cyberpunk-ish AU was born. Also, no I did not play Cyberpunk 2077 lmao.
In the modern era where mortals and immortal races live together, the mortal races found a way to lessen their longevity and strength disparity via Cybernetic implants and cybernetic organs. At first, it was for the livelihood of mortal races. They can now spend longer time with their loved ones. They can compete on equal terms with the immortal races. For the longest time, humanity has known peace.
However, some mortals wanted more than just long lives and super strength. They sought to become gods themselves. Thus, unethical experiments and crimes with cybernetics implants as the cause became more and more frequent, and later, the resource for creating cybernetics became scarce and tightly restricted behind paywalls and prestige.
In the great mega-city of Teyvat, there is a secret war underneath the peaceful city as each secret organisation of 8 districts works in the shadows to either end the foolish attempt to reach the heavens, or drive deeper into the madness to become gods.
More character info under read more
Cyno
Codename: ANUBIS District Jurisdiction: Sumeru Organisation: Akademiya Position: General of Tactical Assult and Infiltration team Race: Human (?) Cybernetic implant percentage: More than 75% Cyno was once a sickly boy who lived in poverty. No one would notice a child went missing in the slums, especially when there was no one to file a missing report. Cyno was found three years later by the MATRA forces, with Taj Radkani leading the team to bust an illegal experimental lab on cybernetic implants. The experiments leave Cyno with over 75% of his body replaced by cybernetics. The Akademaiya left Cyno to Cyrus, the lead researcher in the Cybernetic fields. The man later adopts Cyno as his son and teaches him how to control the body that he didn't ask for. He would later came to admire Cyrus' sense of justice and became the General Mahamatra to make sure that no child would suffer as he did.
With almost his whole body replaced with Cybernetics, Cyno's strength is unparalleled. Yet, it does not come with a cost. Legally, you can only change 50% of your body with cybernetics. This isn't just to limit the human's power but is concerned with the side effect on physical and mental health.
Despite that drawback, everyone in the Akadeamiya knew that no one was suited to be the General than Cyno. The ANUBIS would only be sent to the most dangerous missions because they knew no one else could return. Cyno specialised in infiltration and assault missions where he could fight from close combat to mid-range with his guns. While he does lead the assault team, he prefers to work alone though not because he hates people (ok he hates SOME of the people in the Akadeamiya) but because he didn't want them to risk getting hurt with the nature of his mission. That's why there's only ONE quartermaster that the Akadeamiya trust to help Cyno because of their compatibility.
Tighnari
Codename: WATCHER District Jurisdiction: Sumeru Organisation: Akademiya Position: Chief of Medical team Race: Valuka Shuna Cybernetic implant percentage: Less than 10%
Cyno's lover and his Quartermaster on infiltration missions. Tighnari was lucky, born in a well doing family and received the best education for medical degree. Yet, instead of joining the researcher on medical field or spent his later days in the hospital, Tighnari became Field Medic for the Akadeamiya.
His fateful meeting with Cyno started when he was caught as a suspect for smuggling cybernetics components which he wasn't guilty of. Tighnari's fearless stance as he was interrogated by the mantra caught Cyno's attention. They would later became friends and later, Tighnari would join Cyno's cause in defending the future of people from cybernetic experiments after he knew how Cyno got his implants. Other than their shared goal, he wants to be close to Cyno in order to take care of his body from the side effect of cybernetics implants.
Tighnari wasn't only an exceptional field medic but also the best marksman that Akademiya had to offer. With a more than 80% accuracy score for long-distance combat shooting and the highest headshot kill in Sumeru's history, one couldn't ask for a better Quartermaster to lead the mission. When the quartermaster told you to duck as he readied his sniper, you listen.
Xiao
Codename: Alatus District Jurisdiction: Liyue Organisation: ADEPTI Position: Assassin Race: Yaksha Cybernetic implant percentage: None
Xiao has lived for a long time. He has seen the feeble humans growing stronger with the wonders of technology. He had also seen how humans fell with their hunger for power. He also saw how the immortals had a hand in all of this game.
Once a slave to another immortal who also used him as a test subject to create cybernetics, Xiao hated anything to do with the cybernetic technology. He knew a secret of cybernetics, how the technology came to be, and how they used lesser immortal beings as the 'ingredient' for the first prototype of cybernetics. Xiao almost lost his life to the said procedure of extracting their immortal essence to make cybernetics. Yet, fate had another plan for Xiao as he was rescued by the lord of the Adepti, Rex Lapis.
When the news first came out, all the cybernetics production stopped once they knew what they had been using to make cybernetics this whole time. That was until a pharmaceutical company 'Celestia' has found a way to implement other ingredients to create cybernetics. Yet, Xiao's disdain for the product remained.
Growing distrust of both humans and other immortals alike, Xiao only listens to one person as he guards Liyue's ground, his saviour. He works alone...or at least until he met Albedo, the Quartermaster from Mondstad.
Xiao and Albedo met by chance as Albedo came to demonstrate medicine that relieved the side effect of cybernetic's surgery. Something unnecessary, Xiao thought. Liyue has the lowest rate of Cybernetic implantation of all the districts of Teyvat, after all. Yet, an attack from the people who tried to steal the cargo forced them to work together. That was when he took an interest in the man as he saw what a calculating fighter he was. The curiosity would later develop into something more as Albedo and Xiao worked to uncover the secret of 'Celestia' and how they could produce the Cybernetics on their own without immortal essence.
Albedo
Codename: ALCHEMIST District Jurisdiction: Mondstad Organisation: Favonius Position: Captain of Investigation Team Race: Andriod Cybernetic implant percentage: Whole body
Albedo wasn't a human but rather an Andriod created by an ex-scientist from Celestia, Rhinedottir. She left him with one command, "Uncover the secret of Celestia". Upon that order, Albedo journeyed to Mondstand and blended himself with the humans to learn more about what his master told him to do.
There, Albedo has found a family and his place within Favonius Knights. He sometimes forgot his command, even if he thought he couldn't. When Albedo started to develop this sense of self, he couldn't know. All he knew was that he didn't want to let go of this individuality as people saw him as a human, not an android. That was when Albedo knew he couldn't tell this secret to anyone.
Albedo's investigation of Celestia led him to one conclusion: they are still using immortal essence as the ingredient for the cybernetics, but the means they have received it was still unknown. At first, Albedo didn't know what to do with this information. He couldn't contact his master anymore after her disappearance. With no one to report his findings to, Albedo became lost.
However, after meeting Xiao and learning of his past, how he was treated for the other people to harvest the immortal essences. Albedo finally knew what to do. He added one more command to himself, "Stop Celestia".
Albedo would work with Xiao as his quartermaster to track down people working for Celestia and find where they got their ingredients from. Besides his exceptional Alchemy skill, Albedo was also Mondstad's best Quartermaster. With the highest success rate of the successful mission up to 95%, even the most mundane team would make it out alive with Albedo as the quartermaster to lead the mission.

it's criminal that reboot.exe isn't a huge fandom on here with serious wormblr overlap. i could be posting polls like "joseph vs doctor mother vs taravangian: Who Was Worse?". riley bonesaw in reboot would have 3 separate crossover fics. kenzie-uriel information warfare and brian's first ever girl best friend squad would be hit posts (read: 40 notes but 10 are long exuberant tags). i could be powergenning for ugly. i could be powergenning for eve. i could be-

Rayllum Cyberpunk AU
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rayla was a government genetics and cybernetics experiment to create the perfect assassin. Ethari was to build and develop her cybernetic enhancements as she grew, Runaan to train her, and they were also to see to her other care and schooling, since it was a secret project with as few people in the know as possible. But over the 15 years it took her to grow up to be ready for her first mission, they fell in love with each other and with her, and instead of crafting an assassin, they raised a child… incapable of killing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Callum was adopted into one the family heading one the five megacorporations ruling the crapsack world. His dad was trying to change things, but made terrible mistakes along the way, leading to what remained of the government, headed by President Zubeia, sending an assassin after his father and brother. He has experimental cybernetics he made himself, that lets him control electricity and air currents.
Can they break the chains of history, unite the fractured world, let a narrative of love guide the future…?

Au stuff, ig..
SO, I'VE BEEN BRAINROTTING SO HARD OVER THIS AU I THOUGHT UP TWO HOURS AGO, WHICH I'VE ALREADY PLANNED A FIC FOR, AND HAVE ALREADY STARTED COMING UP W/ DESIGNS FOR. So, Bullfrog and Dolph run an undergound (Literally) Group of hybrids Eden has forcefully exiled (Fictional Racism am I right fellas). Bullfrog started this group after Eden wiped out the last of the assassins, excluding himself. Dolph joined him soon after, for his own reasons. Ramon is given a three day notice to pack his shit and leave, since they've decided to replace him with the clone seen in the show. However, my twist on this is that Fakeman, is Raymesis, from the Rayman games. Rayman's canon doppelgänger. Ramon eventually makes his way to hide in the alleyways, though ends up getting caught trying to steal. He is chased down and shot at, giving him a few wounds and such. Bullfrog ends up finding him, cleaning up his wounds and what not, 'n taking him back to their little underground group. Despite his overall disgust, believing that Ramon is still Rayman, he decides to let him in IF he can prove his worth. Bullfrog goes to introduce Ramon to the rest of the group, who react distastefully, some even throwing weaponry or smashing dishes in response, while Dolph tries to calm everyone down, this is where this stupid little drawing comes into play. (Reasoning behind them reacting so cruelly is because they believe he is still Rayman, which the board of directors had sent to spy on their group, though this is not the case.)
Tumblr media
ALSO!!! ABOUT BULLFROGS DESIGN. Okay so, yes he is taller than Ramon, why? Bc I find it funny. He IS missing an eye, from the brief lore I've thought up for him in this au, which is why Dolph replaced it with cybernetic features. In the attack on the assassins, his traditional outfit was tattered beyond repair, so he sewed himself an improved one, plus a cloak which also bonuses as wings. As seen in this small rough concept sketch.
Tumblr media
IM SO FUCKING INVESTED IN THSI SHIT, Y'ALL HAVE NO GODDAMN IDEA.

Anon, I could hug you 😁 Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are my latest obsessions and I am so excited to make an AU out of it, I already have so many ideas!
Also, everyone’s demon look sounds so amazing and I hope to make some art for them.
While I try to figure out their deaths and crimes against humanity, here are some ideas I have for this AU.
Let’s call it The Sinners Six… I’ll workshop that.
Hazbin AU: The Sinners Six are guests at Rapunzel's Happy Hotel; A rehabilitation center that offers sinner demons a chance for redemption.
Helluva AU: Newly dead Hiro starts an assassination business with his fellow demons to take out targets in the living world.

Oh hey uhm.. salutations! (Sorry for being a non.. kinda nervous.)
First off: Your art style and personalised humour are absolutely wonderful. Your Cyberpunk AU gives me giggles and smiles every time I see the doodlies pop up in the morning like a happy charm! And the city artworks always bring bright and beautiful inspiration to seek out lil lore/callout hints from within. Very clever! All in all, you're an astounding and sweet artist! Thank you for sharing your style out to the world!
Ah.. and second.. apparently the Cyberpunk AU is slowly rotting my brain.. (as all good stories should) and I was wondering to ask if it's okay to make an oc for your universe? Was thinking of a lil rival character if that's okay? If so are there any rules and limitations to keep it logical for your city. (Species/mech type, power/strength, role/jobs?) However, if it's not allowed altogether that's understandable, thank you so much for your time! Hope you have a pleasant cycle, 8ee! -🌻🌚
Awhhh thats really sweet <33 holding your compliments close to my heart <33
Yess I encourage you guys to make ocs/ y/n(s) for this au, it’s suppose to be this fun lil story game type of situation. Also how you interact with the characters would affect your route/ journey :pp, the core situation being sun and moon (protagonists) who are in a toggle with finding who they are in this city. Especially sine they are almost done paying their debt, which means they get a choice of leaving the life of crime and try to live a normal life in this chaotic city, or give in to the chaos and bathe in the riches of being a higher class assassin.
“Game” rules under the cut:
Friends? Lovers? Rivals? (Relationships)
Friendship-You can just go the chill route of friends, its pretty self explanatory, befriend the two and choose a path together, hang out, visit one another, all that, the oc can be any age in this route. (Preferably over the age of 12 😂)
Romantic- For the simps yahoo! You can move in together, own a cat or something, idk. Eclipse, sun, moon and even 8ot are options. Poly relationships are available for sun moon and 8ot, but eclipse only wants u to himself if u want him 💀 (also oc has to be over 18 for obvious reasons)
Rivals- 😏 this would be interesting, depending on how evil you wanna be with it, but remember if the oc is going to physically fight em, these dudes are tough cookies and wont go down that easily
City environment: basically very chaotic, it’s a beautiful looking place with glass buildings that reach the clouds and vibrant hologram lights but the police system is even more corrupt than real life, and crime is everywhere. There is heavily armed flying tanks (basically police cars) that will not hesitate to shoot and kill anyone that disobeys them.
Citizens: there are two life forms, one being humans and the other being sentient robots. Cyborgs still fall into the human category. Most humans have some sort of cybernetic enhancement in this city. It’s hard for sentient robots without a human owner to find jobs so they usually get involved in crime and hide out in the shadows, scavenge to survive and all that.
That’s all I could think of at the moment, so yeah, have fun :)))

🧠
Felt bored, saw the ask game.
Ya can choose which of mine ya wanna say about.
//-Ah, the art of the extremely powerful self-insert/main OC.
-I remember back when I designed my OCs in an almost identical manner. It is clear as day in my memories how I designed a character named "Mr. Fnafer", then gave him seemingly pointless cybernetics, basically the entire Sans moveset but with glowing orange magic instead of bones, an assassin's arsenal of firearms, a time traveling car, a 5 star hotel he owned, and much more.
-One can think that it was sort of chaotic collection of things I enjoyed at the time, with my flat yet sometimes creepy personality at the time attached, rather than a character. A beyond stereotypical Mary Sue.
-Oh those weird but nostalgic Amino times of mine.
-I will not bash anyone's head in for designing characters like this, no. We do this stuff for fun, and many people can clearly enjoy being an ideal version of themselves. And, of course, the character can be improved into actually something interesting.
-This RP has a few nicely done "overpowered" OCs, from experience, I'd say Writer and Leo were a blast to RP with, having fun personalities and powers, along with interesting backstories.
-Now, I have not witnessed a large amount of Stara and Starfish in RP to judge. But, to me, the characters feel quite flat sometimes. Normal, usual, only really interesting for their combat powers.
-Just reading the google documents of both, their personalities and backstories are each summed up in less than half a page, and the rest of the documents detail every single specific part of a thousand combat and utility moves. Does that not feel a bit wrong?
-That's how they both feel at the surface: written for combat, which is a rare part of most RP, and one that some people might not enjoy writing! Some can be spectacular, but still.
-And even when in battle, I would honestly rather watch someone who practiced 1 kick 10,000 times, rather than someone who practiced 10,000 kicks. It is much more interesting to watch a smaller set of more unique powers used in creative ways, rather than obvious use of many powers.
-If I am to recommend anything, I suggest ever so slightly cleaning up the combat moveset, exaggerating the personality traits to be more noticeable, unique and more fun. Removing a few unnecessary moves, maybe a bit more of unhinged/psycho Stara, perhaps the two often end up in arguments at the worst times, as kindness and mischief collide?
-Pretty much in the same section, but I'd honestly love to hear more about the AUs they are from. They have the potential to make great backstories, and can serve as a base for their personalities.
-Overall, they both have great potential, but seem a bit simple at the moment. I'd say that more experience in dialogue and personalty-defining will make them very fun characters!
-Still, the duo is fun to RP with.

cleric's oc factsheet
thought I would compile a quick list of my Mass Effect OCs, including my Shepards, with some basic facts/features about them. I'll be updating this randomly as I sculpt more characters, add more to my canon, and so on :) this is also in my pinned post!
Within Regis's and Nyx's canon, they do exist in each other's universes. However:
In Regis's canon, Nyx stayed a civilian engineer. He and Hackett reconciled before the events of ME2 and restarted their relationship. He's an Alliance contact for tech-related needs and is a strong war-asset for the construction of the Crucible.
In Nyx's canon, Regis never went to BAaT, learned biotics with Vikram, and still did his cybernetics education, which led him to also going to Omega with Vik. He meets Zaeed and enters a relationship with him, and he ends up meeting Kaidan on Omega three years before the events of ME1. He's an Alliance contact for terminus on-goings and also works as a merc with Zaeed if needed.
REGIS LUCIAN SHEPARD
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gender: Male (He/him)
Age: 32 (in ME1)

So, you can add your OCs into the Project: Mirage AU.
Just, answer these questions below:
↺How did they enter Project: Mirage? (Either through an invitation by Vocaloids, or decided to enter through an anonymous song in their playlist)
↺Attacker or Defender? (Attackers are Players who chose to attack the Traveller, the main character of the game. Defenders are Players who protect the Traveller.)
↺What would their appearance and weapon be? What were their ailas in the game?
↺What SEKAIs did they respawn into? (Underwater Circus SEKAI, Land SEKAI, Oasis SEKAI, Marionette Stage SEKAI, or Cybernetic Dreams SEKAI.)
↺What are their role? (Assassin, Sniper, Healer, etc..)
↺Do they fight alone or team with others? (If teams with others, please let me know what characters they teamed with.)

Cybernetics assassins au
Cyno’s side effect from cybernetics implants are quite complicated to explain. It’s not just headaches or nausea after hard missions but something more than that.
For example, he couldn’t feel hunger. The implants dampen his hunger hormones so more often than not, Cyno forgot to eat. Tighnari and other matras will reminded him of his meal time. Or sometimes forced him to sit down and eat.
Same with pain, cybernetics implant dampened his pain nerves but only to a thresholds. So Cyno will eventually feel it when it reached a threshold and pain will crash down upon him in full force. People will usually seek medical attention when their pain is 5/10 (or higher if you are stubborn) to prevent that pain from reaching 10. But Cyno can’t feel pain until they are 10/10 so he either have 0 or 10 pain scale.
There are occasions where Cyno would suddenly drop down and have episodes seizures from overloading the cybernetics because no one should have that much implants in their body. The reason Tighnari was assigned as his quartermaster isn’t just for his support on field but mostly on medical assistance once any of the side effects acted up.

Heyyyy y’all I come bearing a gift for you all ✨✨ (it’s Sheriff’s design in the Cyberpunk Au)
I debated posting this, not sure if I should wait to do the others but decided to just do them individually so I can talk about the design, the character in the Au and other things I feel the need to mention.
So without further ado, here’s Sheriffs design:
Tumblr media
And an alternative version to show off some glowy parts of the outfit:
Tumblr media
So, with Sheriffs design I wanted something interesting yet something that’d be mostly practical for his line of work. So he’s got a cool jacket for that with some orange accents to represent the district he lives in (I’ll talk about districts at a later date.) the orange accents are also on his shoes and the thingys on his pants.
The back of his jacket has the star to represent the sheriffs star he has in canon because I didn’t want to give him an actual one in this, if you’ve seen the one or two drawings I did of Hero, i did the same thing there just with the sleeves.
Moving on.
On his right arm, you’ll see what is essentially an electronic glove with a screen in his arm. It’s something Shooter created early into his and Sheriffs partnership, it does many things including having a built in map and communication app of Shooters design. Aside from using earpieces, this is their main form of contact, especially during stealth missions where it’s dangerous to speak.
And moving onto the left arm, we’ve got Sheriffs cybernetic arm, this is obviously to replace his mutated one in canon. It’s got dark greys on it in order to blend into the night but does have a light mode variant he can switch to at anytime. Yes, the shell of the arm can switch between light and dark and even a bunch of other colours. It’s a newer model in the world and is highly customisable. The arm also shifts into a gun as seen below the arm on the main drawing. There’s two variations, the first being where the hand becomes the gun and the second where it pops out of a compartment on the arm. I’m leaning more towards the first option but you guys can leave your thoughts.
There’s also his visor which is not on the main drawing but beside it, another one of Shooters creations, the visors job is to scramble facial recognition technology in order to keep Sheriffs identity secure. It can also make it seem like his eyes are a different colour to what they are. The visor also comes equipped with a mini map for when checking his sleeve isn’t an option.
Those are really the main parts of his design I wanted to mention. So let’s talk about other things about him.
In the MBCPAU, Sheriff is a bounty hunter and occasional assassin. He takes up odd jobs even given to him by clients or by other sources who give him information on criminals who have a bounty over their head. He’s obviously in this for the money, needing to pay off the loan he used to purchase his cybernetic arm (and have the surgery to get it attached. Yes it’s surgically attached to his body.) and to keep himself and Ryan under a safe roof. Ryan is wheelchair bound and doesn’t have an electronic one, not being able to afford it. Sheriff is also saving for one because he doesn’t want Ryan to strain himself trying to get around the house (which has been made as wheelchair accessible as possible.)
Sheriff met Shooter in high school and the two have been close ever since, Shooter has been assisting Sheriff on his missions since Sheriff barged into Shooters apartment one night, bleeding and delirious. Sheriff is thankful he’s on his team, Shooter saving his ass more times then he can count. Shooter doesn’t usually join him on missions, instead hanging back in his apartment and offering guidance from there.
Also this isn’t about Sheriff but Shooters parents are absolutely loaded (they’re head engineers for the company who produces cybernetic parts) so he lives in district 3.
Anywayss.
I believe that’s all, for any further questions you may be having, please head to my query box. It’s always open for asks and I live receiving them!!
As always, Stay safe and eat bread O/

Starwatch au: Genji and Hanzo lore
Here it is, some people have asked to see this au, so i tried to write it out. I'm not a great writer, so it’s not the best quality but i think the idea is really cool, I'm just still learning how to convey my ideas by writing rather then word vomit XD
Tw mention of brainwashing/manipulation, death/murder/assassination Shimada empire was a clan of warriors known across the galaxy as some of the greatest warriors in the collective galaxies
So it was all the more devastating that the clan fell after the surprise attack by the infinite empire,after the Shimada empire had renounced the actions of the infinite empire and publicly stated that they wouldn't listen to whatever the infinite empire had to say. They said that if anything were to happen, their dragons would protect them, that their dragons wouldn't allow any harm to come to their people.
During the attack, the infinite empire killed the emperor of the shimada clan, Sojiro Shimada in a public display, to make a message of standing up against the empire and their conquest of all the galaxy's.
The Shimada empire had been allies with Lucio's kingdom, with the closest relation between the two being the friendship between prince Lucio and the second in-line crown prince (Kotaishi) to the Shimada empire, Genji shimada. Who were often seen partying, playing music /games and having fun together both in the public eye and in private.
In the fall of the Shimada empire, Genji was taken, not as a hostage but rather to be used as a weapon. Emperor sigma originally just wanted to kill the prince, but his grand Seer advised him otherwise. That it would be a better idea to, rather than kill him, to manipulate/brainwash him into fighting on their side, as the empire would only get stronger by having one of the galaxy's greatest warriors on their side.
After being presented with this idea, Emperor Sigma agreed, and instructed The seer to look over the process herself to ensure nothing went awry. And as planned, the process was a complete success, Genji was now a bloodthirsty assassin who would listen to the Seer's every word. He was then remade into the empire's assassin, donning a new set of armor, and even some other cybernetic upgrades to give him the fighting edge over any opponent, enhancing his already superhuman abilities. Including that of summoning his spirit dragon, which had now turned a blood red to represent his new found bloodlust.
One compilation the Seer did not foresee was that she herself would fall for the prince. How deeply she cared for her assassin, and how deeply he cared for her. This however only seemed to make the control of the Seer more powerful in Genji's head. He would do anything for her, even if it meant giving his own life for hers.
They were almost always by each other's side, with Genji working as a sort of bodyguard for the Seer, protecting her from any potential threats.
The Seer is often seen placing a hand to the side of his mask, as he places his hand over hers, interlocking fingers as they stared deeply into eachothers eyes. The assassin being deeply in love with the Seer. Genji had also developed an almost animalistic demeanor, with him curving his back, tilting his head, and crouching slightly in his stance, while always walking(and running) on his toes. Which on top of his new armor, with its glowing red visor and appearance of a Sharp jagged mouth fangs and tusks, made him absolutely terrifying to face.
 Other members of the empire have seen this as a threat, that the Seer would go soft, that the assassin was not loyal to the empire as the Seer claimed and rather to her and her alone. Even going as far to say the Seer might seek to take over the imperial empire by having the assassin kill the grand emperor. Of course the Seer was appalled by the notion, and reassured the emperor that she would have no reason to, nor would she want to take over the empire. Especially since without the emperor's power, the empire would surely fall, regardless of any assassin.
So, the emperor allowed the assassin to remain with the Seer on the grounds that she would never use him against him in any way. And of course she agreed. She, as it stands, wouldn't ever betray the empire let alone the emperor. And though it was true that Genji didn't necessarily follow the commands of the emperor or the empire, rather only followed the Seer and her every word. Since the Seer would never betray the emperor, neither would Genji.
As successful as the attack on the shimada clan was, they made one mistake, letting the crown Prince and heir to the shimada empire escape. Hanzo had fled with the rest of the survivors of the attack, and when he found out about not only the death of his father but also believing that his brother had also died. He was completely and utterly heartbroken blaming himself for the death of his brother. This guilt/greaf fueled his desire for not only redemption but to take down the empire that had taken everything from him. This desire led to him finding the watchers and joining by their side fighting towards the same cause, but once he joined the watchers and saw Lucio with them it only brought both of them even more heartbreak at the (presumed) loss of their brother and best friend.
Hanzo joins the watchers shortly after the rescue of 3.c.h.o , which during her time captured she learned new information about the empire. That they had acquired a new unhinged and deadly assassin that would listen to every command of the Seer, and who served as her bodyguard, preventing anyone from taking down the Seer and by proxy the empire...
!!!Additionally information!!! This is more just au stuff and won't transfer over to the actual game if this where legit
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The shimada empire contained people from across the galaxy, and would take in and protect anyone who needed it. And would train them into being strong warriors
The shimada family specifically were not only blessed by the ancient dragon god's In the form of spirit dragons that would empower ever swing,kick,slash,stab, or shot, but also were descendents of the ancient dragon gods themselves. Giving them sharp pointed teeth (pronounced canines mainly but every tooth was sharper than the average human tooth), elf like ears, soft but crazy spiked hair if cut short/ long flowy hair if left uncut, more durable skin, dragon like tails, clawed Hands and feet, sharp piercing eyes and unusually shaped eyebrows that seem to come off their faces. They also seemed to have slight animalistic demeanor in the way they hold themselves, run, fight, and most evident in the way they sneak around/crawl/perch on ledges, but also manifesting in how they sleep, lay down, sit, etc.
They primarily speak in a language that seems to be a cross between human japanese and some for of draconic tongue, including snarls, growls, roars, and other noises including ones when they are happy which others swear sounds like purring but they heavily deny it (Hanzo and Sojiro mainly denied it entirely while Genji just seemed a tad embarrassed by it and even though he also would deny it, he agreed it did sound like purring)
Additionally abilities that came with this are:
.higher durability due to their stronger skin
.Increased flexibility beyond a human level
. Above human strength
. Increased ability to see in the dark
. A higher connection to the water, and the air ,but specifically Storms (having somewhat of the ability to create and control lightning, but it more often than not comes off as a more extreme version of a static shock that gets stronger as they get more emotional)
. A slightly faster than human healing factor (can recover from injuries faster but not by much)
. And on top of the night vision they have overall increased senses as well (such as above human levels of sight, smell, hearing especially, having above human levels of touch [being able to feel and detect smaller changes in texture, temperature, pressure, or variation], and obviously increased taste [allowing them to pick up on individual flavors and intricacies within food and drinks]
. increased emotions (leading them more quickly to extremes such as rage, sorrow, hysterics, etc)
Additional specific abilities to each brother:
Genji (pre-brainwash)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
. Increased movement speed (this includes reflexes ,normal walking pace, etc)
. The ability to dash over a certain distance at near light speed
. Increased strength (allowing him to throw his shurikens and other weapons hard enough that they would do the same damage as a bullet)
. High levels of charm (able to talk his way out of situations more often than not, for used to quickly befriend or enchant acquaintances, and a higher ability to lie [even though he doesn't like lying so he really needs it for that])
. But struggles with regulating attention leading to him either getting distracted more easily or getting bored faster
Genji (post-brainwash)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(In addition to previously mentioned unless stated otherwise)
. Ability to double jump
. Further heightened strength
. Even though he still does possess the ability to use it ,he does not use his charm nearly as much, with him only ever talking when talked to or instantly jumping to action (primarily violence)
. He still has issues regarding his attention but is now more regulated into a state of being hyper-aware of surroundings or completely mentally absent (responding to commands like a drone, with no thought behind it)
. Additionally his emotions have both been suppressed and heightened, with him having a heightened anger levels, and extreme loyalty which for the Seer also manifests as a sort of love/desire/obsession
Genji's weapons
~~~~~~~~~~~
. Incredibly durable shurikens which he can throw faster than a bullet
. A wakizashi (a short sword he can use when dashing through enemies, or to deflect incoming projectiles)
. Ryu-jimonji (his dragon blade, a obachi crossed with a lightsaber, that he can use to channel his spirit dragons power to deliver more deadly strikes)
. Additionally he has other hidden blades in case of him being disarmed
. Hidden smoke bombs which he can use to create an opaque screen that he can use to escape, or disorient opponents
Hanzo
~~~~~
. Dragon sight (allowing him to use the dragon's eyes to see through walls, obstacles, or to see internal injuries on himself allies or enemies for short bursts at a time [like X-ray vision])
. Having two dragons as compared to Genji one, allowing him to send them spiraling towards enemies to be devoured ,attacked , or otherwise dealt with
. Able to channel his dragons powers into creating ghostly lightning bolts of arrows that he can fire in short bursts at a rapid pace [can deflect off walls]
. He's also able to use his dragon's power and combine his dragon sight with his shot, and allow a single arrow to navigate through multiple targets even if they're not aligned
. He also has scatter arrow because why not
Hanzo's weapons
~~~~~~~~~~~~
. Storm bow (and assorted arrows)
. Similar smoke screen to genji's
. A smaller concealed blade for multiple purposes (including crafting arrows, carving, other normal knife things, and more normal violent knife things)
. An assortment of poisons which he can use on opponents (haven't decided in what form but probably multiple, these poisons also include obviously deadly ones, but also more mild ones which induce vomiting , temporary paralysis or multiple strengths of tranquilizers)

First Cyberpunk AU piece on Tumblr yay!!
This shows a little bit of Killua’s life before running away; the Zoldyck kids spend most of their time in VR until they are transferred to cybernetic bodies for assassination jobs. In this image Killua hasn’t quite woken up from the sedative yet, because he’s usually very happy to not be in virtual reality for once. Canary is the one responsible for transferring the brains into the bodies and making sure everything goes smoothly, and as such has a pretty close relationship with the kids, but especially Killua

tell me about your ocs
I HAVE SO MANY. And they're from D&D and other RPGs, so here goes... (Note: some of the other characters that come up are played by some of my mutuals, who I'll let self-identify only if they want to. So, expect to see reference to numbered mutuals. Also, ongoing games are marked with a + at the beginning of the paragraph.)
From Star Wars (the Fantasy Flight RPG), we have T'lara Kest, a stronk purple twi'lek who fled Ryloth to avoid being sold. She took various jobs, from working security at clubs and bars to full-on mercenary work until she wound up with the crew she adventured with (she may have also done some, uh, "adult modeling" to help make ends meet before meeting the crew). During their adventures, she lost her legs to cybernetically enhanced nexu, joined the Rebellion, saved her special agent boyfriend from a zombie-infested Imperial ship he'd infiltrated, and survived a lightsaber to the gut. She also had a hella crush on one of our party members (Kidan, played by Mutual 1), but the leg loss led her to actually get together with her will-they-won't-they guy of something like 5 years. ALSO, she discovered at one point that she has a connection to the Force thanks to accidentally opening a Sith Holocron with fuckin' Darth Nihilus' consciousness in it.
+From Call of Cthulhu, we have Lori Jones, former TV personality turned occultist (and also straight-up cultist). She started off as somewhere between Jean Gray, John Constantine, and a daytime TV host. She then (accidentally) married Hastur, joined an occult investigative group, helped thwart some of Nyarlathotep's plans (some of which included her best friend of many years and the best friend's family), killed someone with a mind control spell, got sent back in time from 1991 to 1921 with the rest of the party, converted from Catholic to Jewish in order to marry another party member (Aldous, played by Mutual 2), and is currently heading up part of Hastur's cult in London while going through more investigative stuff and helping the party figure out how to get back to the 1990s. Oh, and she's plotting an assassination of a member of MI5.
From Pathfinder, I have two major OCs, with a third who is considering the leap to D&D.
Morana is a human Inquisitor of Pharasma whose teacher/father figure was possessed by the BBEG. She was going through A Lot, including adopting a 16 year old werewolf girl who became her squire. You know, I actually forget a lot of the plot of that game, but absolutely loved playing Morana because her personality was fun and Mutual 1 and I had a shitton of AUs to talk about her in. Because there's something to be said about a Pharasmin having a Thing for a dhampir. (I have reused Morana and her squire as NPCs because I love them so much.)
Jacinth Haf aka Jace is a half-elf and former sex worker who was raised in a brothel, then became a cleric of Sarenrae. Because it's a popular module that I don't want to spoil for anyone, I'll just say that, plot wise, she ran through Rise of the Runelords with a rather interesting party, including another of Mutual 2's characters. Jace is a firm believer that everyone is created equal and that equity is needed in order to give everyone the chance to succeed. While the party made some choices she didn't agree with, personal choice and free will are important to her, so she didn't physically fight them on any issues even when they released a pair of demons into the world rather than sending them back to the circle of Hell they belonged in.
Slaine Caellach is an elf ranger who, together with their black panther Straif, was on the run from their homeland to avoid being sentenced to death. Why would they be sentenced to death? They killed a human noble who'd trespassed into their territory and killed some animals Slaine was protecting. Then they escaped prison, avoiding being turned over to the human authorities who planned to kill them. Slaine also made the mistake of making deals with an eldritch being and wound up with something like Hermaeus Mora as a passenger in their brainpan. Until a TPK happened.
Aaaaaand now for the list of D&D OCs...
+Most recently played is Mara Lantos, who's a member of Team Ponderance (obligatory plug for our official artist, @thedovahcat, who did some great art of Mara and the rest of Team Ponderance and is an absolute delight to work with!). The Ponderance crew is currently working on thwarting what appear to be world domination plans being enacted by someone who should be long dead. Before adventuring, Mara was a member of a traveling performance group, The Wandering Oddities, who took her in when her family home was destroyed, killing her parents and (she believed) her elder brother. Within the Oddities, Mara was adopted by Pa, a Drow male follower of Eilistraee, and Da, a male wood elf, both of whom are skilled tumblers. With her birth family (heavily based on the Belmonts...), she had trained to be a monster hunter from a young age. So, she's the first fully multi-classed character on this list as a Bard/Fighter. The rest of Team Ponderance includes characters from Mutuals 1, 2, and 3! (Added note: 10/10 highly recommend Bard College of Lore paired with almost any Fighter subclass. Especially Battle Master or Echo Knight.)
While she was only played briefly, Razira Fein is one of my favorite characters to date. She is a female drow who came to the surface after losing her girlfriend, who'd been trying to leave the Underdark to join a conclave dedicated to Eilistraee. After joining the conclave and feeling her training with them was near-complete, Razira traveled as an entertainer. She still used some of her prior (read: drow raider) skills to take security jobs guarding merchant wagons and the like until she (and the rest of the party) were informed that they were destined to save the world. The thing that was most enjoyable about Razira was that she was a character who was entering the last phase of her arc as the game was starting. There wasn't much character growth she would have seen, but there was a lot of character growth in the party that she could have aided in. Hers, she felt, was a story of redemption and finding peace, and she believed others could do the same. She felt guilt when Nym, a male half-drow party member played by Mutual 3, left after she refused to let him start a fight with the Evil Army (not their real name) in a town square. She blamed herself, but also had felt that her action was the best choice rather than letting him get killed. Also, she was a Fighter (Echo Knight) with the Entertainer background, which made for a lot of fun for RP.
OK, OK, I'm gonna lump two D&D characters together here back-to-back because they're all followers of the Raven Queen. As a note, my DMs and I have tended to play the Raven Queen as a hybrid of her 4e and 5e versions.
Oswin Blair was a Paladin of the Raven Queen who formed an entire knightly order, the Order of the Raven's Crest at the end of her adventuring life. She had at one time led a group of soldiers to their doom, all of whom were raised as undead, their names emblazoned into her skin until she laid them each to rest. When she died, two names remained. She'd had to make a choice at the end of the adventure: let the BBEG go, or fight him nearly alone, which would have killed her and the child she had just discovered she was pregnant with. Her husband, Dane, was a healer and leader among a Druid Circle, so he split his time between her home and his enclave. In her time adventuring, Oswin and friends got up to some crazy shenanigans, though her biggest mistake was making a deal with a fae that inadvertently led to a few hundred years' worth of dead followers of the Raven Queen being resurrected. Oops.
+Mithvari Dresia is the character on this list with the most titles and the most to learn. A shadar-kai of only about 150 years, she was raised in a clerical school run by her father, Zunas, who is the younger of two sons the Raven Queen had before she ascended. He was harsh with her and still holds her to exacting standards she's unsure she will ever meet. She's only been on the Prime Material Plane for the last three years, with most of that time spent either being coddled by a temple that knew of her origins OR wandering as much as possible and discovering, essentially, a love of sex, drugs, and Rock & Roll (or Bardcore, I guess?). While she was being coddled by that temple, though, she did meet a paladin of Pelor , Randall, who she had a brief relationship with. Here we are two and a half years later, and Mithvari and Randall have been reunited by circumstance. She refuses to commit to a serious relationship unless he asks for one because she's spent so much of her life being told what she wants, she doesn't know what she actually wants. And also because she wouldn't mind the excuse to sleep around some more. She's basically one of those overly sheltered kids with really strict parents who lets a little too loose their freshman year of college.
