just realized i never posted this one anywhere! i did this project last summer - it's my old stardew valley character! (my current one looks pretty different, maybe i need to do another one...)

it wasn't a particularly large project but there were a bunch of different colors, and it got tricky managing all the ends. i love how it turned out though!

7096 stitches, 98 hours. 2-strand on 18ct.

I was just so in love with this book cover, I couldn’t not.

Last night was a mental health shit show full of anxiety, what if, thinking I'm the anti-hero like in Taylor Swift's song. I attribute that to me having a bit too much coffee in the morning.

So, I call it farming for serotonin. If Ryan and I were discussing and I mentioned that sometimes when I'm disassociating, I will at least play video games so at least I have something to focus on. He replied " So, you're farming for serotonin?"

So, I was farming for serotonin. Playing tears of the kingdom. And then cross-stitching.

I hope I can get this done before we leave on the 21st to Portland for my brother's wedding. There are certain family members that are going to be in attendance, but are stressing me out because I haven't spoken to them in a year and a half. Nor have they seen their grandchild in a year and a half.

And you don't just not talk to your parents for that long without a reason. I hope they had time to think on that, and do some self reflection

This took me 3 years 😮‍💨 working on it over each halloween season.

it didn’t turn out quite the way I expected it would from the pattern and there’s mistakes since my stitching has improved a lot over those 3 years. But I’m too lazy to fix them now because I’m so over it lol.
