The Lyoko Gang hanging together after school!

I love it when stories go for the 'show, don't tell' approach. It provides a lot more depth to a scene when the characters don't spell out every emotional beat that is currently happenning.

So when Jeremie, arguably the smartest kid in the entire school is worrying about his future, his friends are there for him. They don't have to tell him, they don't have to say it... they just are.

I love these guys.

(Also I have a soft spot for sunsets, so this scene kind of just elevates itself in my mind by mere aesthetics alone.)

Ulrich

 tries to avoid cussing, but does a pretty bad job at it, cusses like half the time when he gets hit on lyoko, damn or fuck lmao

Odd

 learns swears in different languages and started using them for the fun of it, but they ended up sticking, so now instead of "Fuck!” you're ending up with cazzo, neuken, or faen or something of the sorts 

  Yumi

usually good at not swearing, since if she did it in front of say, Hiroki, she would never hear the end of it from him, but sometimes it slips out regardless when she’s frustrated, usually just “damn it” or something of that nature. 

Aelita

Didn’t actually know many or any swears before meeting the others, buuut she’s caught on pretty quickly since. She doesn’t swear much, which is why when she does it honestly just. Shocks the others a bit. Odd has taken to teaching her more swears in different languages.

Jeremie

He either doesn’t swear at all, or once every once in a while just lets out a loud FUCK because the code isn’t working. Probably a mix of both, he tries to avoid cussing at all costs but listen, it’s impossible to avoid cussing if you’re a programmer /hj

Flower of Lyoko chapter 1

Iris Rossi

Age 13

Looks 5ft5,140 ,honey brown hair held in a ponytail by a pearl hair tie, blue eyes, cream skin, blue acid washed jeans, black tee with a sunflower and monarch butterfly, black converses.

Being the eldest child to a top chef, and  waitress was not easy. Iris has two younger sisters and three brothers. When her parents fought and argued she had to take care of her siblings. By the decree of her grandmother on her dad's side she is being sent to Kadic Academy. This is so she can learn to be a teenager and not a caretaker. This makes her feel like a failure.

Iris is soft spoken and well mannered on the  surface. If she feels you wrongd her in any way, she gets even with you. Lord help you if you mess with people she cares about.

Iris loves to cook, garden, play gator, her friends

She doesn't like to be played a fool, her father for leaving her family, being dumped in a boarding school.

Chapter 1

Iris sat with her grandmother in the back of the limousine. "Iris honey I am not doing this to hurt or exclude you. The way your parents are acting is disgraceful. I went to this school and made good life long friends. I feel it will be good for you." The old woman said undoing the gold butterfly necklaces. "My father made this for me when I left home for school. I am passing it on to you so you remember all the people who love you. " she said before placing it on her granddaughter. "What about my brothers and sisters Grandma?" The young teen asks making her grandmother chuckle. "Oh sweet flower they will be looked after by myself and your uncles. We will see you for holiday now off you go." The elder woman said when the door opened. The young teen watched as the limo disappeared from sight. "Hello you must be the new kid." A large man with brown hair and gym clothing looked down at her. She nods and follows him. "Not much of a talker huh well thats ok." He said taking her bag."the head master wants to speak with you." The young teen thanked him and walked in the office. "Ah Miss.Rossi it's good to finally meet you. Please have a seat so we can finalize your paperwork." The headmaster said with a warm smile. Iris filled out the paperwork and handed it in to him. "Well Iris it looks like you are in time for lunch. Lets go see if we can't get you something to eat." He said walking her to the lunch room. When they stepped inside all eyes were on them. "Good afternoon everyone. This is Iris Rossi she is new please make her feel welcome." The head master said before helping her get food. "Sit with Jeremy and his friends. Then come and get your schedule after lunch." With that he left her sitting with four other students.
