Could you do some loki and borrower Clint fluff ?
“If I lift this glass, are you planning on running?” The enormous figure above Clint asks; it’s in a drawl that almost seems bored, or maybe amused.
Clint, for his part, doesn’t fuck around when he answers a blunt, “Hell yes I am.”
Who the hell wouldn’t?
Loki’s lips twitch up, amusement blooming into something visible rather than muted at the answer. “Well, I do applaud your honesty.”
In hindsight, maybe Clint should’ve played ball for a little bit - because Loki disappears for a second just to return with a thick piece of card stock, which he slips beneath the rim of the glass and, subsequently, under Clint’s legs. With it, he lifts the entire prison. Clint goes tumbling back a ways until his hands hit glass, incredibly uncomfortable with the suddenly blurring landscape.
“Hang on- where are we going, I didn’t sign up for this ride-”
His answer is less than reassuring. Loki lowers him down, down, down into an even larger glass prison - an aquarium, it seems. Dry, empty, lidless, and sitting on a table about waist-height so that he’s face to face with Loki’s crotch for a minute. Loki is, at least, exceedingly careful with him. The entire glass comes down, the card stock hits the bottom, and he carefully removes them both without jostling Clint too much.
“You know, I did have the intention to put a pet in this - I wasn’t decided, yet, between a fish or some kind of small mammal. Maybe a snake...”
Clint strides up to the glass so he can knock on it impatiently. “Yeah, no, excuse me - that’s not gonna happen. I’m not a pet, and I swear to god I definitely bite.”
Loki only hums softly, replying in a sort of sing-song, “We’ll see. Perhaps we’ll take bets on how long it takes you to change your mind.”
He thinks the interaction’s over when Loki strides away, but he returns just a moment later with two Saki cups; one with filtered water, the other some bits of fruit, cheese, and chicken.
...Well, he was hungry.
