Get your art materials ready. Read Psalm 34:18 and take time to meditate and pray on this verse🙏🙏. 

Paint, sculpt or draw Jesus sitting next to you, holding you. Remember to enjoy the process. Once your artwork is ready, display it where you can see it, or keep it in your Art Journal. This art piece will always remind you of Psalm 34:18 and that Jesus is always close to the brokenhearted. 

You have done nothing to deserve what you are going through✝️.

Yep! Is Romania once again, however, these artworks were made somewhat at the beginning of September. I was trying some facial expressions study but to also have some fun!

I sure had with these expressions and surely the first one, I can just hear him say “Cheese”!!

And if you’re wondering why or who made him cry? … *coUgh* Ze pAsT *CouGh*

Despite being sad at times, God allowed things to happen in our history for a reason. If these difficulties didn’t happen, Romania wouldn’t be the way it is today because of the maturity and God’s plan in the process. He would be a completely different person/ country!

But Ok Ok- the last one tho- is one of my favorites 💀💀 HAHA!

TEE BEE ACHE... eye motifs are so overdone to me. Floating spooky eyes that look like this <I> are like a classic staple of flipaclip youtube vent art. WHICH IS OKAY but I can’t really see it anywhere without thinking back to it :/ Also the TMA fandom did it like 10000 times in all their fanart so it’s basically just lost its taste to me. and the “biblically accurate angel” stuff is the same to me. It was initially interesting but then it was just copied and eaten up by the internet. AND religious imagery I think packs a better punch when the person themselves has experience with religion because then theyre familiar with what it means, and to them it holds weight, whether its because of past trauma or familial heritage or thats just their religion that they believe in! But like. if you just put a crucifix over here and a halo over there and OOOH nuns... BUT SEXY?!?!?!? it just does NOTHING for me and I can totally tell that it wasn’t inspired by any actual experience just from uncritically absorbed Posts from tumblr or pinterest or whatever!!!!

I hate hate hate hate art history (more specifically the class and not the subject) but goddamn does it not make me annoying as all hell. I see one (1) thing I learned about in class and go heehee I know that. The 8 hours per study guide need to be put to use somehow. Unfortunately last years class was just mainstream art history and now that I’m in global history and needing to learn about religious and cultural history on top of the actual the art I’m going to be so much more obnoxious.
