🇺🇸ENG 🇷🇺RU⬇️⬇️⬇️ BILINGUAL CHILD. How do you deal with bilingualism or do you deal with it? ⠀ I often think If I should start talking in english at home so Zac can hear it and start absorbing but then I think that he will be hearing english when we are on the playground, when we see neighbors (every day), when we go to any free classes that are often held in libraries. Of course he hears russian speech more and understands it but does he understand english - I don't think so. ⠀ When our neighbors's kids say hi to him he doesn't really know what's going on, they wave and he just stands still so I'm teaching him at least to say hi and wave back. It doesn't go well though. I am not sure If it's because he hears 2 languages and a little confused or it's just too early to start talking. ⠀ Is there anyone with a similar confusion as me? Any advice on that? ❤️ ⠀ ⠀ 🇷🇺Билингвизм и дети. А как вы справляетесь с билингвизмом и справляетесь вообще? ⠀ Я часто думаю, стоит ли мне начать говорить на английском дома, что Захар слышал английскую речь и начал впитывать язык. Но потом я думаю, что может это ни к чему тк у него будет достаточно общения на англиском, например на детской площадке, с соседями, которых мы видим каждый день и на бесплатных занятиях, которые проводятся в библиотеках для деток. Конечно он слышит и понимает русский язык больше, но понимает ли он английский - сомневаюсь. ⠀ Когда дети наших соседей говорят "привет", Зах��р не особо понимает, что вообще происходит, они машут ему, а он стоит и не двигается смотря на них исподлобья, поэтому я учу его хотя бы говорить "hi" и махать в ответ. У нас не очень пока выходит. Пока не могу понять, если это потому что он слышит 2 языка и не может понять что к чему или просто слишком рано вообще в принципе и я от него много хочу. ⠀ У кого-нить было что-то подобное, есть тут такие как я, в смятении?
