#i hope this is readable lol #deltarune #susie #noelle holiday #suselle #art tag #man i had a whole thing to type up here and now i forget most of it. ummm #basically ive been thinkin about suselle with the new info we got from the sweepstakes #specifically from noelle's perspective. because up until chapter 2 she wants susie but she doesnt KNOW susie #its an extremely shallow crush which is normal for teenagers but what makes it interesting to me is #how noelle sort of seems more attracted to the danger susie poses than susie herself #and she doesnt really make an attempt to get to know susie personally until ch 2? iirc? #and before that almost seems to hope that susie will treat her as badly as she treats kris #and you could argue whether its bc of noelle's psychological problems or if its just. yknow. a fantasy #either way my point is shes not really thinking about susies feelings. shes not trying to reform the bully or something #so consider this little lyric comic as taking place in noelle's fantasies pre-ch1 #BUT #all that said it doesnt mean noelle isnt open to getting to know susie. obviously #when she sees an opportunity noelle does reach out and not in a way where shes trying to provoke susie to hurt or threaten her #she gives susie a gift and invites her to study together. not to mention the whole ferris wheel thing #i actually think noelle didnt even consider that as an option until susie and kris became friends #and even after chapter 2 noelle doesnt really know susie all that well. and to her susie still exists mostly in the realm of fantasy #but its a start. and they have so much more room to grow and understand each other better #plus susie clearly already cares a lot about noelle #moral of the story is suselle is more compelling than just 'shy girl plus mean girl' #and i like it #good night

I was once again thinking about this goofy Luffy moment after his Lucci punch™ and i had to see it frame by frame.

first the force of it throws them both away, and while Lucci is seen on screen tumbling for a long moment, Luffy is just away in a blink of an eye.

and then his funny scene - his legs are like jelly that he tries to get under control,

he stumbles, falls, rolls into a mix of all his limbs and eyes,

and then only the cloud behind him cushions his fall

- which would be interesting if he can subconsciously control that while he tries to regain the control over his movements - that the environment around him still adapts to his awakened Devil Fruit abilities and morphs to help him. Where others would probably fall through that cloud, for Luffy that cloud backs him up like a trampoline.

It's just fascinating!

thinking about how in the manga aiura says she also saw teruhashi when she asked her crystal ball to show her her soulmate and was scared to learn that teruhashi would be her rival for saiki's love like... What if she mixed saiki and teruhashi up and misinterpreted. wouldn't that be so tragic? aiura also mentions that she can't predict lottery numbers because the karmic balance will strike back twice as hard. what if that's her punishment for using her powers in a self-interested manner by trying to find her soulmate? doomed to a life where no matter how much she may yearn for kokomi, she will always deny herself because of her ultimate belief in the truth of her own predictions?

I sketched the original idea for this scene and posted it a whiiiiiiiile back, and now that idea is part of the story.

Now that the chapter is out, I can get back to finalizing the final pop-up shop stuff and, uh, stopping neglecting the hella expensive figure invention for character animation I'm taking for the spring semester.

I feel like over the month+, I have like 1-2 hours a day max where I feel relatively awake, and every other hour I'm fighting bone-deep exhaustion. I'll bring it up with my doc at my check up on monday, but tbh i know the solution so idk if she can help

And I can work-work when I feel half-dead, or rather I force myself to because I don't want my cats to starve, but when it comes to creative stuff, it's like my mind is slippery sludge dribbling out my eyes...

The Solution, of course: just stop working 3~10 AM every day (and then taking a short nap, working during the day, and then taking another short nap, hours vary but repeat), and maybe get at least 6, ideally 8 uninterrupted hours of sleep at least every other day, ideally every day.

But do I see that happening? No.

Like rn I know I desperately need to edit fic and reply to comments and do several arts but I'm nodding off at my desk after boss DMing me work at 5 AM and dealing with repair people since 8:30 AM...

You know how in some fairytales the fey will test the main character, and if the main character succeeds the fey will help them?

I was thinking this could be the case with Plant Lady. The eggplant thing in Chapter One was the test (will they help the stranger asking for free pizza? Will they take care of the plant?), and the Ovenist succeeded.

It's also why Plant Lady mysteriously shows up to help exactly whenever the Ovenist needs it (aka Chapters 3 and 4).

Bose has been up all day making this perfect for mika, his mika. 2 years and bose still hasn’t told mika how he feels about her.

Mika isn’t like anyone else. He had told her that he needs help setting up for his date with a girl from school.

“Bose?” The boy turned around to see his one true love behind him.

“Mika! I’m so glad you made it.”

“You know I can never let a friend down.” A friend he thought. Always a friend. His face saddened thinking about it.

“You alright? I know this might be hard for you.. I do have some advice?”. Mika was avoiding eye contact, for what reason you might ask? This girls got a big crush on bose.

“I just don’t know how to tell her how I feel. I mean we known each other for years..she has this dark curly hair. Amazing honey brown eyes, a smile that can light up anybody’s world. I don’t wanna ruin our friendship we have, but i’ve been keeping this secret for a while now.”

Bose looked into mika’s eyes. No one said anything. It was peaceful.

“Bose, you’re gonna do just fine i promise. Im sure the girl you like likes you back, your bose o’brien! Who do you like anyway? You can’t just keep it to yourself!”

started watching the chainsaw anime and im disappointed with how they adapted this scene. i can understand cutting the dude’s daughter being kidnapped by a devil and speeding along to denji meeting aki, but i always found it really striking how makima could easily have handled this herself but is so apathetic that she dumps it on denji for the sake of her fucking udon. the way she cheerfully, coldly threatens him with death the instant he questions her was so creepy. 

even with them cutting the child kidnapping its strange to me how the anime reversed the order of denji’s first interaction with makima. in the manga she gives him a coat and he’s smitten then we get this scene where he’s stunned by how cold she is. the anime reversed it so she’s cold to him at the start, then gives him the coat and he’s smitten. its a weird change.

Oh god one day I'm gonna write the fantasy au dabihawks I've been having a brainrot for for months where Hawks is the guardian of the forest that needed to stab First Prince!Touya in the back to take him out of the line of succession, courtesy of the King. Hawks didn't see this as a betrayal, considering the fact that Touya had always hated being royalty and his forest would be having another layer of protection, so it's a win-win situation, right? He takes care of Touya to the best of his ability after the whole stabbing incident, but progressively got more worried when its been years and the boy still hasn't woken up.

Imagine his surprise when one day, the one morning that he left the other boy's side for an extended period of time for an emergency, he came back home to empty sheets and a burned up bedroom. Because he might see the situation as him helping Touya out, but in the prince's eyes, Keigo became another enemy who wanted him out of the way. That sees him as something defective and even went out of his way to harm him for a favor from his father. That all their time together was just a farce to get into the heart the prince has walled off so much, but it seems like it would never be enough.

A stray feather is the only thing Touya brought with him when he left. Keigo's unending grief is tolerable with the comfort that somewhere out there, his prince's heart continues to beat.
