( ◞ ◟"); mama bird. Mess with her little and she'll do everything in her power to hunt you down. Sometimes calmly, sometimes not. It's best to not test which one she'll end up doing. So best to stay on her good side

( ◞ ◟"); if she happens to be away for awhile, Luffy is usually the one babysitting while she's gone. And safe to say that by the time she's back Usopp would be so hyper from unlimited candy supply and probably trashed the ship. Yeah that is a whole different story....

My Headcanons for How Every Member of the DRDT Cast Sleeps:

Yes, this is rather random and strangely specific, but for some reason I have a lot of headcanons for this.

Teruko: She can fall asleep literally anywhere if she has to, since on the run she couldn’t count on having a bed to sleep in each night. Sleeps sprawled out on the edge of her bed, as proven by this CG:

Xander: Snores very loudly. And since the building DRDT takes place in has not-at-all-sound-proof walls, this means that Teruko and David have to deal with all the noise while trying to fall asleep, since they had the misfortune of being assigned the rooms next to his.

David: Doesn’t sleep. /hj

Rose: This one’s pretty obvious. She can fall asleep anywhere, in any position. It doesn’t matter how loud her environment is, she can and will fall asleep.

Levi: The fact that he was apparently the only one to hear the commotion when Ace was banging on Nico’s door after they failed to murder him suggests he’s a very light sleeper. He probably sleeps on his back with his hands folded across his stomach.

Nico: They have a lot of stuffed animals, and they make sure to sleep with each one of them for the same amount of nights so that none of them feel left out. They curl up like a cat when they sleep, unsurprisingly.

Veronika: Sleeps on her back with her arms crossed in an ‘X’ over her chest, much like a corpse or a vampire. She sleeps like the dead, and the only way you’ll be able to get her to wake up is by shaking her a lot.

Ace: Curls up into a ball under many blankets, often being startled awake by nightmares or even the slightest noise. Meaning he is a literal ball of anxiety when he sleeps. He still sleeps with a stuffed animal, but will take that secret to his grave.

J: All of her pajamas have to be black or some other dark color, and will usually be comprised of a tank top and shorts. That way, she can feel cool and tough even when she just woke up. The best way to describe her sleeping position is ‘doesn’t give a fuck’.

Min: She makes her bed every morning, unlike the other cast members. She does, however, usually keep a book on the end of her bed that will often fall to the floor when she inevitably accidentally nudges it in the middle of the night. If she doesn’t fall asleep while reading a book, which she often does. She’ll often sleep with an open book resting on her chest.

Hu: Sleeps in a night gown with her hair up in a bun, and is the only one besides Min to actually make her bed each morning. She’s a relatively light sleeper.

Arturo: Let’s be honest. He’d probably own a body pillow of some famous celebrity and cuddle with it at night.

Arei: Wears a blue sleeping mask that probably says something like, ‘Wake me up and you die!’ in a glittery, cutesy font. She’s a very light sleeper, since her sisters used to try to play pranks on her or steal things from her room as she slept.

Eden: She is a VERY deep sleeper. She acts like the three alarm clocks on her nightstand are just for show, since she made them and they look very pretty…But in reality she needs to have multiple going off in rapid succession in order for her to wake up.

Whit: His bed coverings are all some shade of pink. He also somehow always smiles in his sleep. It would seem his efforts to always look and feel happy 24/7 are even transferred to his sleeping, subconscious state.

Charles: He would really like to have a stuffed animal to cuddle, but he has deemed himself ‘too old and mature’ to have one. So instead he’ll just cuddle a pillow.

Be My Princess 2’s Childrens (PT. 1)

so, i will only translate a little bit of the second CG (image in the right) because if i translated everything, it would be a loooot... and i would stay here for days and days. but there's context, i will also talk about why the nickname, if it's too different from the name! here is part two of the princes.

MC and King Henry were occupied for his birthday party, and MC was worried Prince Nicholas was feeling lonely. while talking to all the other princes, Kevin asked if Nico is alright, since he wasn't at the party, and she answered he is doing good but Henry saw she looked a bit worried so he let her get out of the party earlier and she went to find Nicholas, who asked what she was doing there. MC said she was there to make company to her baby, but Nico took her hand and made her go back to the party, because it's daddy’s birthday. MC told Henry about it and both laughed a bit, then went to commemorate together privately. after their mini date in a restaurant, they both went to find Nicholas, who was talking alone in his room. the plushie is Nicholas birthday gift (second image), Lassie ¹. MC gave Henry a cake too, then they cut in 5 pieces; one for Henry, MC, Loyd, Nicholas... and the last one for the plushie!

King Sieg & Prince Elion (“Lila”).

why the nickname Lila? Prince Elion’s nickname is Lila because of his color palette.

King Sieg’s birthday is coming and he will make a national announcement about his heir, Lila. Prince Elion is really anxious for the day, he is worried he won't be good enough for his speech. MC is worried for their son, and ends up with stomachache (gastritis). Elion and Sieg makes porridge for her, and the child start crying, thinking it's his fault his mommy is feeling sick. Sieg and MC are shocked, but then both start talking to Lila about how they are proud of him — and if he is worried, they can study his speech together! Sieg also tries to apologize, he didn't want to pressure his son... the day come and while looking at the public, he gets excited and adds on his speech he wants to be a king as cool as Sieg and as kind as MC, surprising his parents. after party, Sieg hugs Lila (second image) and says they are both proud of how their son is growing up so well.

King Kuon & Prince Riito (“Rikkun”).

why the nickname Rikkun? Prince Riito loves squirrels and he called himself Rikkun when he traveled to the past.

King Kuon and MC were having breakfast with Prince Riito when Rikkun asked Kuon to teach him how to make latte art. Kuon was a bit cautious, because it might be hot and burn Riito’s little hands, but MC convinced him that it'll be okay as long Kuon watch him. with Kuon’s birthday party coming, they were worried about showing Riito to the public, as they both know their child is clingy and need support. they are worried to make it traumatic to him. they agree to think a bit more about it later... next day, Riito calls MC secretly, he wants to make a latte art as Kuon’s birthday gift. MC agrees to help him, making it a secret. Rikkun works hard to learn, even making Butler Kent a latte (who gets emotional). the little family goes to a festival of bakery and Rikkun wants to buy his parents's favorite coffee himself, after a brief hesitation, they let him buy it alone. Rikkun takes a long time there, making MC and Kuon anxious, but shows up with the coffee in hand. they are impressed by how Riito grew up lately and decides to show him on the party. later, Riito shows the latte art he made himself to Kuon, who is very proud.

King Kevin & Prince Cyrus (“Lion”).

why the nickname Lio/Lion? Prince Cyrus was holding a lion plush when he traveled to the past.

since King Kevin’s birthday is coming, he's been a lot more occupied than normal, but he still makes time to read Prince Cyrus a book before sleeping. MC notices how it's more peaceful, but then Cyrus complains about how Kevin can't read a book because he can't do a princess voice and things are back to normal. next day, Butler Gabriel talks to MC about Cyrus being invited to the kid’s band in Kevin’s birthday parade and Cyrus is excited to it, as a gift for Kevin! MC is worried, Cyrus is a bit shy but agrees... so he started training alone, it was nice, but after a while, he needed to train with others kids, and got too nervous, making a lot of mistakes. MC tried to talk to Cyrus it was ok to make mistakes, but the kid was too stressed and yelled at her, saying he couldn't do it and ran away. MC then talked to Kevin about their fight, who went to talk to Cyrus, motivating him to never give up, no one is perfect it at first. Cyrus agrees to go back and get better. Kevin’s birthday now the surprise revealed, the king cries when seeing his son is growing up. later, Kevin wants to reward Cyrus for working hard, who just wants a piggyback and spend time with his father (second image).

King Ivan & Prince Elem (“Wolf”).

why the nickname “wolf”? Prince Elem didn't remember his own name when he traveled to the past, so that's why MC and Ivan gave him this nickname.

King Ivan’s birthday party was near and with it, the announcement of his heir, Prince Elem, that until then lived hidden from everyone... because this is the first time Elem will see the public, he is very nervous and fussing, being really agitated, making MC and Ivan worry for his safety. MC needed to go out to finish her work, then Ivan then make a promise with Elem and apologize to MC for make her worry. when she's back from work, she notices Elem sleeping — something really hard to happen — while Ivan is hugging the tiny body. Ivan and MC talks a bit, with him praising MC to take such a good care of their child and noticing something was making Elem nervous. Elem then wakes up and apologize, making the small child admit he just wants to be praised a lot by his mommy and daddy. in Ivan’s birthday party, everything goes well, he shows up and they spend next day playing with snow (second image), with Elem teaching Ivan how to make snow rabbits!

¹ Lassie is how Henry calls MC in his route, because of the dog. they have a master-pet relationship.

Sieg, Kuon, Kevin, Ivan, Max and Lyuo are called papa (パパ) and MC is mama (ママ). while Henry, Oliver and Shion are called otou-sama (お父様) and MC is okaa-sama (お母様).

i search for everyone's name so i could name them accurately, as Elion... but i don't know how to translate perfectly Kuon’s and Shion’s son’s name. i know Ruito is a name, but i didn't hear anything about Riito. sorry if it's wrong!

Crack Theory: The Alternative Switch Theory

Alright. So, I’m sure many of you have heard of the J-Arei switch theory that’s garnered quite the controversial status within the DRDT community. The basic gist of is it that J and Arei had swapped places somewhere between the events of Chapter 2, and that J is the true victim of Chapter 2.

Now, I see the merit in that theory— And some parts of it have intrigued me. Specifically, Teruko’s possible prosopagnosia and the rhetoric of visual cues.

Because of this, I went back and rewatched some of DRDT. Mainly the beginnings of both chapters, and I noticed something that wasn’t really apparent to me before. I’ll show it off here.

During Episode 4, there are three important arguments that are highlighted:

J & Arturo’s argument,

Arei & MonoTV’s argument,

and Nico and Ace’s argument. I won’t show the photo yet because it’s important for my main point, but you’ll have to reference back to the other two

What confuses me, though, isn’t that any of these are significantly wrong. Remember what I said about Teruko’s prosopagnosia catching my interest? That’s when this comes into play.

If you don’t know what prosopagnosia actually is, it’s a neurological disorder characterized by the inability to recognize faces. Some might simplify it down to “face blindness,” and Teruko has had two instances that really imply that she does suffer from this.

During Episode 7, Veronika and Teruko have a conversation in the movie screening room about how Teruko recognizes and identifies people. Because Teruko says that she uses eye color, skin tone, and hair color, Veronika suggests that she might have prosopagnosia, and raises this interesting point.

Now, back to the topic of the arguments in Episode 4. With the knowledge of prosopagnosia coming into play, I want to draw your attention to the Ace and Nico CG. See if you can understand what I’m getting at.

Here it is:

Notice that? Their faces are obscured. And they’re the only two characters in this set of CGs that have this effect, while J, Arturo, Eden, and Arei’s faces are all shown on full display.

So, to end this off, here’s my question:

What if Nico and Ace swapped places, rather than Arei and J?

While I don’t have any proof, it’s an interesting idea. They’re both the same height, and are relatively close in chest size and weight. Their voices are also relatively in the same or slightly varying octaves. Just a thought.

Agere Dead Sea Siblings headcanons

Their brains do age regression as a coping and defense mechanism from trauma

Technically all flips but only Percy calls themself a caregiver since Nico and Hazel only take care of him when he's a Little while he does it in general for anybody who needs it due to him being an adult while they're only kids

Hazel's ages are 2-3,Nico's are 3-5 and Percy's are 7-8 with the occasional 2

As a cg,Percy does babytalk sometimes,carries them around,gives them extra kisses and takes them on safe adventures like gardening and playing hide and seek.He's learned how to spot when they're tiny when they try to hide it and eventually it gets to the point where they stop trying because of all his reassurances and how safe she makes them feel so now instead they make a b-line for him when it happens

Percy was actually able to repress his regression out of sheer spite and anger when it started(Poseidon genes)but after his self-eestem improved he told Sally about it and she did research so they could find out what was up with him and by then she'd adopted Nico so they knew he's one too and same goes for Hazel when him and Percy ressurected her at Persephone's request so she'd be a part of the Second Great Prophecy

They're all animal regressors too-Nico's a baby bat,Hazel's a pony/fillie and Percy's a kitty

Little!Nico and Hazel call Percy 'Papa/Mama' as opposed to their usual sibling terms for her since while she's normally already a parental figure to them,their age amps it up big time and they call Little!Percy 'Princess'

And Little!Percy calls them 'Coco' and 'Azie' while Cg!Percy calls them his 'Little Rockstars' and 'Precious'(as in pearls)

Nico likes halloween costumes,card games,chewy tender food,being thrown around and storybased songs,Hazel likes tutus,Monster High,black louisiana food sweet or heavy kinds,playfighting,hyperpop and Percy likes coloring,tickles,bubble baths,fairy tales,themed food(Cookie Monster especially)and Lo-Fi Chiptunes

Nico's a pretty quiet kid and takes naps a lot but still energetic,Hazel's even more of a little shit and gets even girlier and Percy's a handful but not in a bad way

Sally saved up to buy them an easy bake oven,toy phones that match their tastes(A box of fries for Nico,a ghost with a bow for Hazel and a pink cat for Percy)and even made them pacis with the diy skills Percy taught her

The cat themed communication cards Nico and Hazel made Percy as a thank you for all he's done for them come into use her for both Percy themself and them borrowing them since she's cool with it

Hazel plays witch often and Percy's more than happy to be her familiar wether he's big or tiny

Nico likes feeling independent so his siblings don't overdue it so he dosen't cry or throw tantrums.However,he's also extra sensitive to his chronic pain in this state so he also understands he needs help with certain things

Hazel's hair is often filled with colorful butterfly hairclips by Percy's doing at her request,Nico's hair gets put into protective styles for safety by Sally or one of his siblings and Percy perfers having his styles changed throught his regressions

Their favorite shows are Max and Ruby,Kiya and the Kimoja Heroes,Bluey,Blues Clues,Dragon Tales,Adventure Time and Spidey and his Amazing Friends with Percy having a huge (platonic obvs) thing for Gwen Stacy thanks to it and the Spiderverse movies so she has secondhand merch of her and made her Atsv suit for herself so she could wear it

And she also made a Miles Morales one for Nico since they're literally Siblings!Ghost Flower and a Peni Parker one for Hazel based off the Across concept art since Hazel has a huge crush on Peni

Nico also loves Tiny Titans and Hazel is the number one Koriand'r fan and Percy models his drawing style after the DC Superhero Girls 2019 one

Percy started collecting stim gifs for them and they did the same for him but with Sonic the Hedgehog memes and cute fanart

Nico also calls Percy and Hazel 'Squish/Squishy' as nicknames since they're both fat/plus-sized and have expressed that it makes them feel insecure

They have matching Aquapets and Percy's even more into legos in tiny mode than he is normally

They have a big children's makeup kit they all share because it has sections with different kinds and that's why Sally bought it for them(i.e One's goth makeup,another's pink and purple and yellow and the last one's ocean themed along with all of them having glitter options)

Percy's obssessed with Rainbow Dash all the time but copies her speech as a Little and can't play his scary games like Undertale and Deltarune in that state so he plays Nickjr games instead

Hazel's a no impulse control kid but knows what she's doing,perfers figurines over plushies because she likes the texture better and same goes for sneakers over slippers and adores clowns!!

Percy earns the nickname 'Wonder Woman' because of the greek demigoddess and expert at being good with kids combo

Love Live Nijigasaki School Idol Club Season 1 Watchthrough: Episode 1

#1: "The First Thrill"

We got our two main girls, Ayumu and Yuu. They are already going on dates.

I quite like Yuu's mixed hair colors, I don't think we've ever had that before in Love Live.

Nijigasaki's cast seems a bit subdued than the previous series'. Sunshine had a girl fall from a tree, land on her feet, and declare herself a dark angel. The most quirky we get here is maybe the sleepy girl, which quite frankly, is just a mood.

We'll see how interesting that goes, but we already have some pairings, and interesting archetypes for the series (kuudere, gyaru, school nerd, Kasumi looks like a brat in the veer of Nico), so there's plenty to play around with.

It remains to be seen if Yuu herself wants to be an idol, cause I'm also getting a bit of a Killua vibe from her, supporting her friend until she finds her own goal. Which could very well turn out to also be becoming an idol in the next episode so lol.

also their school is fucking insane and it looks like a central train station inside or something

I only have two performances to go off here (both a bit more genre bending than previous entries) but it'd be nice if we kept up the more individual performances than just big group songs all the time. But, we'll see.

Speaking of the performances, they look great. Seriously, like fully fledged music videos, and the CG is finally so good that I sometimes forgot I wasn't watching 2D animation sometimes. Setsuna's is a big rock performance, while Ayumu's was a love confession.

Like, the lyrics are really gay. "I've been hiding it for some time now, deep within my heart Pretending that I hadn't noticed these budding emotions Lacking in self-confidence, I was hanging my head At that time, you pushed me on The warmth of our connected hands"

I wouldn't say the premiere blew me away or anything, but it seems like a solid Love Live entry. And then it's sure to be a lovely story about femininity (you're not gonna see anything super radical but love live is quite inclusive) with a very queer coded cast.

Again, but because they're school idols, Love Live avoids all the cruelty, exploitation, and horrific abuse that actual idols have to go through. It's really just about a school club of girls who like to sing and dance, and just happen to be labeled as idols.

We'll see how Nijigasaki's cast fares (i'm not sure if I like the new overall visual style that much but it's well animated obv) but the narrative is taking a more unique approach compared to its predecessors, not following previous archetypes or storylines too much. A good sign.

i forgot to mention that the ed is really cute (yes, a nice stylistic change) and a bit more overt in its gay subtext, for those of you who need the rainbow to get it.
