"Are you stupid or what?"

"Hey!" Whirling around on the couch, Rebeka brought her hand down on your arm, scowling up at you. "You're supposed to be tutoring me, not making fun of me."

"It's my job as your older brother to humble you every chance I get." You grinned, pinching the top of her ear between your fingers. Rebeka groaned, shoving your hand away and turning back to the textbooks scattered across the coffee table. You snickered, glancing toward the door when the doorbell rang.

Pushing yourself off the couch, you left the livingroom and headed down the hallway, approaching the security panel mounted beside the door. Pressing a button, it switched to the camera next to the gate out front. You blinked, feeling your mouth dry as you stared at the person waiting by the gate. Carla glanced in the direction of the camera and you almost contemplated pretending not to be home.

"Who is it?" Rebeka called.

"Uhm, a delivery person. I'm gonna go sign the papers." You responded, pulling the door open.

"Delivery? Wha-" You shut the door and made your way down the driveway, approaching the tall black gate. An exaggeration in your opinion but your mother had always been one for the extravagant. You opened the door beside the gate and met her gaze.

Carla still looked the same, perhaps a bit older and with darker hair. But her icy stare, fashion, and demanding presence remained. The blonde stared at you for a moment, pink colored lips parting as she inhaled.

"What brings you back? Was London not up to your standards?" You questioned, head tilting and arms crossing. Carla pressed her lips together, swinging her purse over her shoulder and mimicking your posture by crossing her arms as well. She took slow steps forward, heels clicking on the pavement.

"I came home to see my mother until school begins again. I was in the area so..." She shrugged her shoulders. "I wanted to see how you were doing."

"How'd you get this address?"

"Samuel." She responded, smirking when your brows furrowed. "I told him we were back together and that I wanted to surprise you."

"I always knew you were a stalker." You couldn't help but tease. Carla looked away, too prideful to acknowledge she had sought you out unexpectedly. You stepped closer to the young woman, lifting a hand to toy with the ends of her long hair.

"You can go now that you've seen me." You pointed out softly. Carla inhaled, eyes shutting briefly.

"I wanted to talk about us." She admitted quietly and you hummed, letting her take your hand in hers. Carla gave it a small squeeze, meeting your eyes.

"I care about you, (Y/N). Going to London and being away from you... I know now that we needed to spend some time apart so we can grow stronger together."

Snorting softly, you leaned forward and pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. "You missed me that much, huh?" You grinned, feeling Carla smack your arm as she huffed and rolled her eyes.

"I can still book a ticket back-"

"No, no, no need for that." You laughed, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and resting your forehead against hers. "Do you really think we can make it work this time?"

Carla smiled and nodded, raising her hands to cup your face. "Obviously." She replied, pressing her lips against yours.

A mirror chapter to the last one, with Rebe's and Leo's reactions to what went down with Lu and Valerio.

"We… we didn't- nothing happened," Lu implored. "I was terrified and he comforted me, that was all."

That was all. Rebe wanted to scream.

Leo felt absolutely nothing.

Last night had been different. She had definitely felt things then. She had felt, for example, like the man she loved had spit in her face, pushed her to the ground and then shattered all the dreams she'd had for their future like cheap china, leaving her sitting among the shards.

Today is also the two-year anniversary of Close your eyes 🎂 I posted the first chapter two years ago, never imagining it would develop into this. people who hate Samuel’s character are a little bit hypocritical. You are ready to forgive the murderer, cheater, racist, drug addict, accomplice if they have motivation and strong emotional moments.

but you absolutely do not empathize with the good guy who is just trying to fight for his family? He’s overhated like he is an villain wtf... Yes, he is not the most interesting and bright character because he is realistic and simple. When he was good guy in s1 no one appreciated his kindness and everyone hated him because it’s boring. When he received a more interesting problems and done to be too good you didn’t appreciate this too and started to blame him. So what do people want? They look for any reason to hate him but literally forgive ever more dramatic characters

he is called selfish when he literally never thought of himself. he always cared for the family, for the brother who slept with his girlfriend. Samuel forgave him and fought for his freedom, even when he fell in love with Carla, he did not give in to his feelings and brought the matter to an end. even if Carla again lied to the police and this meant that his family was under threat again - he understood her and did not blame her. he did not put his experiences above her own. is this guy selfish, seriously?

And people say that he is not worthy of the girls from the show. When is he literally the only guy in the series who didn’t cheat on anyone in a relationship? He did wrong only with Rebe, yes, but he didn’t want this and he cared about her, defended when they wanted to expel her from school. He saw the best in Carla, he did not treat her as an accessory, and he never condemned her for everything she had done.

Are you really blind or just refuse to see how good he is? you really don’t understand that he was bullied for 2 seasons because he was a waiter, his brother and first love betrayed him, he never knew why Carla continues to lie but he still fought to the end? you really do not notice 13830000 of his good qualities and fixate on 2-3 bad? Do you really think he's the worst person on the show?

ok but hear me out...a scene w the exact same energy as the s1 polocarlachristian scene when carla gives the middle finger to her mum while they all make out, but instead it's carebe and they basically arrange to meet with samuel to 'sort out' the love triangle but instead carla just says a big fuck you to samuel then while he's dumbstruck af rebe just cuts in with like, "yeah, she only loves me. and i'm the top." And pulls carla close and they just rlly passionately make out in front of samuel while hes still like '...what the fuck...' then carla opens an eye, winks, and flips him off

Élite Season 4 Review

as an og fan of élite who’s been binging every single season on the day it came out, i watched the fourth season yesterday. here’s my thoughts. obviously includes spoilers for both the new season and some short stories.

the short stories of carmuel and caye/rebe/guzman were the best for me.

the new characters were… uh… how do i put this nicely

ari is the new lu. but less interesting. hated her at first, felt kinda sorry for her at the end though.

mencía is a cardboard copy of miss marina. 🙄

idk how to feel about their dad?? uhhh

i was really hyped for phillipe’s character (idk how to spell it i’m sorry lmao) but man what a letdown.

ya know what… i really liked cayetana this season! i felt neutral about her before but i rlly liked her this season. wish she’d had more screen time.

THEY BUILT UP GUZNADIA FOR THREE SEASONS ONLY FOR THEM TO BREAK UP WITHIN THREE EPISODES AND HAVE GUZMÁN GO AFTER A DIFFERENT CHICK?? W H A T

i liked ander back in season 1… but his character just becomes less and less likeable over the seasons. fight me.

shoutout to samu’s hair this season. hot.

okay but what the fuck was up with all the fucked up relationships this season?? omander. carmuel. guznadia. samu and guzmán. samu and rebe’s friendship, which come on, could’ve gone back to the way it was back in s2.

i cannot stress this enough: FUCK LOVE TRIANGLES. for me it worked in season 1 with carla/polo/christian because they actually seemed to be into polyamory and it actually benefited the fucking plotline around covering up marina’s murder. but that was it. AND THEY HAVE ONE OR TWO EVERY SEASON. it’s exhausting. jesus.

HEY BY THE WAY… what happened to la inspectora from the first three seasons? ma’am?? where you at?? the kids fucked up again and someone nearly died. then someone actually died.

the mystery this season was so fucking dull. like i forgot what was even going on kinda dull. the interrogation scenes were not nearly as compelling as in the previous seasons, they didn’t give you chills, didn’t make you wonder what the hell happened.

you don’t even need a murder mystery to make it interesting. season 2 was my favorite season, and there was no murder mystery — samuel had gone missing. his disappearance and the interrogation scenes were interesting, no one saw the guzmán teamup coming or his relationship with carla. it was exciting and thrilling and this season did not have that even a little bit.

solid plot twist. i’ll give them that. i did not really see that whole armando storyline coming, although i did figure out he had something to do w it because they kept him around for so long.

at the end after guzmán shot that mf in the back i was like NO DONT LEAVE THE BODY?? and then i saw he and samu and someone else i think (i don’t even remember man) dropped his body into the lake. i liked that, reminded me of the trophy.

the fuck is up with the fasion getting more and more extra this season? compare the party outfits from season 1 to the ones we have now. a little extra is good, but now they’re just plain ugly. anyway s1 and s2 fashion >>>

that one scene in the restaurant where guzmán spoke of marina and the way she was as a person and a daughter… that was so well written. i feel like so many people (the writers included) forgot about marina bc she was the first to die and only appeared in season 1, but still. like this teenage boy lost his sister (and so much more) in such a short span of time. i’m glad they at least acknowledged it.

dude… obviously i know that the show isn’t realistic at all but these kids have been through so much. guzmán has been through the worst shit. losing his little sister to murder and then his best friend as well? seeing him die in his fucking arms? and the other kids? they’re still teenagers man. it is beyond wild to think that they’d be as carefree as they were displayed to be this season.

obviously that joke rebe made in the short story about not being able to take any more interrogations and murders and shit was, well, a joke, and it was delivered well, but if you think about it… come ON. they’ve been through hell and back. the show has never been just light-hearted, it has dealt with several serious issues and deaths and murders and things like that. these kids are broken. why couldn’t they have shown more of that? or at least acknowledged it a little? have someone go to fucking therapy??

i thought overall the whole season was underwhelming. kinda boring.

before the season came out, someone said that they didn’t think the show could thrive without carla, lu, nadia, valerio, polo… and i agree now.

i feel like this season had such a different vibe than the previous seasons. not in a good way.

i miss season 1 and 2 man. those seasons had the best mystery, the best vibe, the best cast. i don’t just miss carla, lu, polo, valerio, nadia… i miss christian and nano as well.

even the soundtracks of the previous seasons were better. i’m sorry to sound this negative in the whole review but man i waited so long for the new season only to be disappointed.

"This was your idea, Rebe!" You turned to look at your friend, watching her shrug. Rebeka had come up with the bright idea of making your ex jealous. The breakup had left you down but Rebeka thought that by getting back at Carla, it'd make you feel better. If anything, it would just spread rumors.

"Carla isn't the jealous type." You said, opening your locker. You paused when you noticed a picture of her and you. You swallowed, taking it out of your locker and shoving it into your bag. Rebeka shot you a pity look, placing a hand on your arm and giving it a squeeze. You gave her a thankful smile. Her gaze shifted to something past you, straighting up.

"She's here." Rebeka said quietly, looking at you. You nodded, closing your locker and leaning against it.

"You know, you really don't have to-" Before you could finish, Rebeka placed her hands on your cheeks, leaning in and kissing you. You froze, not expecting her to actually kiss you.

"Kiss me back, dumbass." Rebeka muttered against your lips. You wrapped your arms around her, eyes shutting. Rebeka's arms wrapped around your neck, head tilting.

"Let's keep the PDA to a minimum, guys." You pulled back, looking at the teacher walking by. You and Rebeka shared a look, laughing. You turned your head when you heard a locker slam, watching Carla storm away.

"Don't chase after her yet. Let her come to you." Rebeka said, sending you a wink. You nodded, feeling your phone buzz. You took out your phone, looking at the text from Carla.

"Let's talk."
