The camera housing is back, and all seems to be solved.
Big thanks to UnderwaterCameraStore!
I have also been able to use the new Panasonic Lumix G 8mm Fish Eye lens.
I need a bit of practice, but the groupers are great posers.
Are you coming to also photograph this great fish here in Lanzarote?
Wishing all customers, followers and online family a very blessed and joyous feast of Our Lady Of Candelaria, patroness of the Canary Islands, known as Chaxiraxi by my Guanche Ancestors. May our beloved mother bless you and protect you, always ❤❤❤!
So this vid has gone quite viral in Spain and... *sigh*. She puts on several accents (Galician, Catalan, the one from Cádiz, Sevillian, Basque and Canarian) and I don't know which one is worse.
Can't speak for the rest - except that they sound off to me - but her Basque accent sounds Asturian.
The thing is not to expose how good or bad this specific girl is at putting on fake accents, but why are these kind of things entertaining? Imitating a celebrity, good! Imitating how a whole group of people speak? Sorry but I can't see the appeal (besides educational purposes when teaching a language, which isn't the case).
On May 26th I started my first multi-day hiking trip into the mountains of La Palma. I choose parts of the GR-131 trail - better known as Ruta El Bastón - the famous trail of the Transvulcania Ultra Marathon. I started from Regufio El Pilar and wanted to hike two days to the Roque de Los Muchachos. On the way there is a cabin - the Refugio Punta de Los Roques - where I have planned to spend a night for photography. The Refugio is perfectly located and offers the best view at the Cascada de nubes.
In the end, the main panorama became a composition of 97 single photos. Meanwhile I was almost laying on the ground while shooting due to the freezing wind and I could hardly feel my fingers anymore.
One year later this image became the cover shot for my longterm astrophotography documentary „Canary Lullabies“
This tiny nudibranch (Stiliger llerae) we can find in shallow waters. It feeds and reproduces on the seaweed species Codium afhaerens. 🐌 It is a species at the moment only found on the Canary Islands and Savage Islands.
