Some details of the cross stitch tablecloth I am working on, very slowly right now because I've been really busy with work for customers. Still many hours ahead before it's finished, but, the more I work on it, the more I love it. The hardest part is not starting other pieces that have been waiting for me to finish this one – so far, I've resisted, but as every crafter knows, I can't promise anything 😊.

Two small oil paintings finished this weekend, part of a series that reflects / dreams lucidly on the very beginning of life in the Universe. Most of it is private gnosis, so feel free to make of it what you please. 15 x 20 cms (a bit under 6 x 8 inches), plus border for framing, oil on canvas paper. Another painting finished this morning: a master copy of Mykola Pymonenko's Ukrainian Night (1905), one of my favourite paintings ever. I've been working on this for many weeks – oil is worked on layers, and since I really dislike thick, textured paintings, in my case is really fine and flat layers, which takes even more time.

This is a process called glazing, in which the built of transparent layers, like layers of coloured glass, allows light to travel deep into the painting, actually through it, and bounce back into the surface. This gives a luminosity and depth of saturation that is truly unmatched in any other form of art – and makes a test of patience of each painting!

This piece, which is canvas over board, was custom made for a lovely frame I already had – I can't wait to show it varnished and framed. Yes, another test of patience LOL!

Solstices are places of change, points where tides can be turned, spaces of transmutation and rebirth. If there are things you want to stop doing, or things you want to start doing, today is the day to do it. Don't wait, don't plan, don't procrastinate any more; just make a firm commitment to yourself, and go for it.

The energy of the Solstice is more than strong enough to give you that first push that we all need when it comes to change; after that, it's up to you to follow the inertia created by this energy. Remember, timing is everything; knowing when to do your moves is, more often than not, winning half the battle.

Sometimes, the most liberating, empowering and life-changing experiences wear the masks of grief, loss, illness, and fear. It is always our choice to see them for what they truly are, and be grateful for the feelings they bring up, so we can deal with them, and acknowledge our own pain.

This is ugly, yes, ugly and uncomfortable, and there will be moments of great darkness, because life is made of a whole spectrum of experiences and emotions, and you came here to get as many as possible. Let that pain be, let it flow through you, and allow it to show you its true face, and your true needs.

Don't suppress it, don't push it away; embrace it and give it attention, care, and time. Only that way you will truly release it, and once released, the knowledge of yourself that you'll acquire will become your ally and your shield. It will protect you and help you grow into a more loving being, into a more being being; and with that new knowledge of yourself, you may be able to help and comforts others, just as I am trying to do today.

One of the most important tasks this weekend was the cleansing, recharging and programming of my crystal collection. Crystals have always been very important in my personal practise, and recently I've started to incorporate them more and more into my customer work; as they work for others, in their healing and success, they need to be tended and fed so they can give and heal abundantly.

Most of the small tumbled pieces came from my younger brother, who collected them as a child, and from my customers, who have sent me small pieces of their world; because of this, the collection has an extra charge of love and generosity that makes it even more special.

In the past two years, they have become more and more important for me, because of my most private work with certain spiritual entities, and their power to heal and elevate vibration has kept me in constant, and growing, awe.

I have always perceived them as living entities, but the work I have done with them in this period is like nothing I've ever experienced before. My gratitude today, as I washed them and prepared them from recharging, had no boundaries.

When my husband saw it, he said "I feel like it has been made to dissipate fear", and I thought that was so lovely, and so accurate. Painting my spiritual visions is more than a blessing, and the idea of this work blessing someone else fills me with such joy!

Every challenging thing that happens in your life can be considered a hindrance, or a lesson – and this is just your choice. And, with Mercury Retrograde starting eclipse season this week, it is more true than ever.

MR is not the reason why things turn the way they turn, or the justification of all your bad habits and behaviours; MR is an extremely powerful teacher that asks us to go deep into our own ideas and perceptions, and to understand how responsible for our own narratives we are.

MR is a gift of temperance, patience, and new, improved strategies for your life. But you have to do the work. Every action and every thought that you have during the day, can be imbued with the energy of success, or with the energy of failure; and again, this is just your choice.

Flow with ease, and allow life to happen in grace, and obstacles will evaporate before you; fight them, and become obtuse with arrogance, and obstacles will multiply and grow stronger with the energy that you are giving them.

MR is asking you to stop before you react, think before you react, and even better, not react at all. Actually, this is MR's Superpower Teaching: that not being reactive to everything improves your life to no end. That remembeing that you always have a choice on how you participate in the events of your own life can change everything for you.

That is why I chose the Temperance card to illustrate this post – because Temperance is the embodiment of ease and grace, af conscious reaction, of patience and release. May it be of help for you during this season ❤.
