安修爾體(Uncial) 是流行於4~8世紀的字體，常見於當時的手抄本，最古老的三本手抄聖經都是使用安修爾體書寫而成。這時期只有大寫，小寫還沒發明出來唷！它簡單易學，古樸優美，適合作為新手入門練手！

影響了三代書法家的「現代書法之父」Edward Johnston，在他的著作中盛讚安修爾體「比羅馬體寫起來更快、比俗大寫體更清晰易讀，筆畫圓潤、精簡又獨特」，是他早期常給學生入門練手的字體！

若你的鋼筆、沾水筆尺寸和格線紙不同，你需要自行放大縮小，你的筆的寬度=黑色方塊的高度，才能寫出正確比例的字。

鋼筆、沾水筆對於墨水和紙張的要求比較高，如果紙和墨沒搭配好，寫出來的字就會長毛暈開，加上沾水筆對於初次接觸英文書法的新手來說，門檻比較高，不過它們的優點就在於能寫出墨韻優美、線條犀利的字，能讓作品更有質感，因此書法家們多以此書寫正式作品。

▼書寫時筆尖要保持45度角，也就是寫出來的線條必須頭尾都是45度。

And now for something completely different! I saw Nickel Creek in concert twice in the early 00's, and now they're back together and touring again (and they'll be in Ohio! In March! I have bought tickets).

This is from their newest album, and it still sounds so quintessentially Nickel Creek- it's been 20 years, but I'd recognize those harmonies in my sleep. It's the perfect opener to their first studio album since 2014: "My god, it's good to see you."

I don't know how to talk about music intelligently (never did take that music theory class), but the resolving key change at 3:00 feels like a shotgun blast of rapturous joy to the back of the head.
