1 : Soap never had any idea that woman wanted him carnally, he's not the most observant on that front (he never noticed Ghost flirting with him and thought his love was one-sided for the longest time, but tbf Ghost was also very discreet about it)

2 : He sewed the hat, eyepatch and hook himself, because he's the best uncle and then got distracted as he was wrapping it up, so now he's watching a tutorial on youtube about how to build a voice box. Honestly how hard could it be, he builds explosive devices as a hobby (listen, Price doesn't have to know)

3 : He is out to his family, but doesn't want his mum to know he has a boyfriend because he knows she'll insist on meeting him and welcoming him to the family and making a big deal out of this, and he knows that Ghost isn't ready for that.

4 : Christmas is obviously a very hard time for Ghost, but he is very very in love with Soap and some days still can't believe that it's mutual, but then his Johnny does something like that and his head gets quieter while he's melting a bit.

5 : For the people that didn't see my other post : the bird is a Caique parrot, and they're supposedly very energetic, a bit loud, medium sized, unintelligible, very friendly to what they consider their family, adventurous and danger prone, with an explosive personality and a hate of boredom, so basically the adhd bird.

Chips is a captain of a ship that was given to him by his parents’ last wills. This also included supplies to run the ship, and quite a lot of money, since his parents were rather well-known travelers before they got swept away at sea… Chips has a crew, but his crew mostly consists of the animals he has adopted or taken with him in his journeys. He hopes to build a true crew one day and travel the seven seas!

Dream log

Had some deeply unpleasant dreams recently. Not like scary nightmares -- those often end up as cool story fodder. These were just pathetic.

I am at some kind of combo diner/cafeteria where you order your food and then they call your name and you pick it up at the counter. I'm there for breakfast. My friends have eggs and bacon. I have three brown patties the size and thickness of hockey pucks but plainly made from some kind of pastry material, covered with white crystals that look like sugar. "Apple fritters with saccharine!" the lady handing me the food says, and I am appalled. I would never order anything with saccharine, that's disgusting. "Well, the menu did say 'with artificial sweeteners', honey," she says to me in the most condescending possible way. I am dubious, because I hate all artificial sweeteners, but also, when I hear artificial sweetener, I expect Splenda, not saccarhine. Now I have three inedible pastries instead of food I could eat. Could I save them by scraping off all the saccharine?

A close friend of mine starts waxing misogynistic about the feminists. Shit, dude, you're trans, where the fuck did this come from?

A Vulcan woman is abusing her spouse by making him wear what amounts to a full-body Chinese finger trap, attached to a similar suit she is wearing. When she pulls on it, it compacts tightly around him and restricts his movement, forcing him to follow her closely.

I am working on a project with a classmate or coworker (not clear which) who is a bird. Like a caique or something, and he;s a drunken asshole. He's drinking port wine from a bottle, and starts pestering me to have a drink. I tell him I don't drink. I am a teetotaller. I don't do alcohol at all, ever. He starts mocking me for this and being a total ass. So I grab him and throw him into a wall. In retrospect, perhaps the fact that I am like 20 times his size because he is a bird should have prevented me from letting myself get so mad at him I got violent, because birds are fragile, and I think maybe I just fucked him up pretty bad.

Like, what is this shit? I had this incredibly cool dream the night before about a post-apocalyptic world and being a child exploring a river that runs through a building that's at the back of our house, where there are all these rooms that you can get to by wading through the river and all this stuff people left behind in them, and now I get this?

I guess this calls for a Hiccup appreciation post! Hiccup is actually my girlfriend's parrot. He's a white-bellied caique and he's six years old. His name is Hiccup not because of How to Train Your Dragon, but because he often made a funny sound like a hiccup when he was a baby.

Yes, he does pluck a lot. We've figured out that it's mostly because of dry, itchy skin, which is not helped by the fact that he's also molting. We're hoping we can afford a super fancy new humidifier for him soon!

Also I fell asleep last night listening to a reading of The Repairer of Reputations while (barely) high and it gave me weird impossible-geography-related dreams. It was great.
