stuff i love (but mostly hate) about the IB:

Love:

- I’ve created a social identity with other IB students. (basically there’s a “we” in “we’re all suffering” as opposed to “i’m suffering”)

- the social identity is really honestly the greatest thing about the IB because I feel like we all think kind of the same, yk? we are all so stressed and scared but it’s kind of invigorating that we know we are all here together

- kind of related to that, I have some bragging rights about breaking through the IB fog after testing in May. I can say I did the hardest thing I’ve ever done, regardless of if I make good enough scores for sophomore status in college

- Colleges love IB students because hooray college prep give us all your money

- SMART CULTURE. I’m known as “that smart kid” in my family*

- conversations with IB students you can ONLY have with IB students. One time, my school put on a festival, and kids were running around playing, doing activities, having a good time yk. And within all this ruckus, a group of like ten students was standing out in the hallways laughing and arguing over what the correct chemical formula for cobaltic hydroxide was (COOH3 btw). that is a normal, everyday conversation at my school, and these people had to have been younger than me because i’m a senior and didn’t know them

- also, we’re all very tight knit. we kind of have to be. if you don’t leave before freshman year, or even up until junior year, you see so many of the kids around you dropping like flies to go to a normal comprehensive high school.** the size of my senior class as it stands right now is 72 people. i don’t know of anyone in my class that doesn’t know me by name.

- my teachers are WICKED smart.

- my handwriting has become phenomenal because all of our essays are handwritten.

Hate:

- even though it’s “we’re suffering”, it’s still yk. suffering. lmao it isn’t meant to be fun

- *being “that smart kid” means I feel like I’m being held to the standard that I’m meant to be smart and have all the answers all the time, and when I don’t, I feel like I’m failing at… my identity? if that makes sense? makes me feel really, really crappy

- when sleep schedule is screwed, it’s screwed BIG TIME. there’s no happy medium.

- forget to eat in favor of study/ procrastination

- pretty sure those fainting spells were because of forgetting to drink water. whoops

- **i am the only African-American person in my entire grade. the only other Black person in class of ‘23 is Nigerian, and she happens to be one of my closest friends.

- it gets really lonely.

- sometimes, my teachers are so smart that what are basic concepts for them are incredibly complicated concepts for me, and when they skim right past them i can’t get my bearings

- long nights spent watching youtube videos on biology concepts could all be retrieved if my biology teacher had explained them better for me.

- THE IB IS NOT ADHD OR AUTISM-FRIENDLY AHHHHHHHHHHH. THE 504 PLAN HAS RUINED MY PERCEPTIONS OF WHATEVER “ACCOMMODATION” IS SUPPOSED TO MEAN.

- i find that schools in general are not very neurodivergent-friendly. a solution to lack of focus becomes sit in a quiet room by yourself with a ticking clock in the corner that you just can’t block out because it’s just So LOUD and this room is too bright and someone’s watching me from the corner of the room for some reason why do i need supervision i don’t even know what this assignment is asking me to do and i can’t even ask that random staff member watching me because that’s not their job and they aren’t my teacher bc he’s busy teaching all the rest of the class that can keep up with him.

- just no.

but anyway. i don’t know that i’d trade the experience I’ve had with the IB. Character development, yk? and i’m aware it isn’t for everyone.

idk what kind of person i’d be if i hadn’t decided to go through with attempting to get a full IB diploma. i wonder whether i would be as thoughtful as i am now.

- okay okay mULTIPLE characters keep reiterating that 13 years is a long time and he might be a different person. philza probably said it like twenty times. and i think it might be hinting that wilbur IS gonna be different. but not the way it’s been hinted at, like tommy is terrified that he’s way worse than before but maybe wilbur is actually going to try to become better. good, or as close to it as he can be. maybe that’s me just hoping but i just rlly rlly think wilbur deserves and NEEDS a redemption arc

Zenitsu whimpered, he’d woken up alone. He propped himself up on his forearms, golden eyes scanning the room for any trace of her. Y/n would usually be beside him, gently shaking him awake so that he wouldn’t be late to his school lectures or just so that he would get out of bed in general.

“Where could she be?” He questioned as he cupped his face with his hands, knees tucked into his chest.

He looked at his phone beside him, maybe she called or left a message.

Zenitsu grabbed a hold of it, pressing the home button only to see game, school and email notifications and his Lock Screen picture of Y/n on their most recent date.

He smiled sadly at the sight. She looked so beautiful illuminated by the golden city lights in the dark sky. That cheery smile on her face that made his heart flutter and cheeks warm.

He sighed softly as he got out of bed, and got ready for the day. Zenitsu looked around the apartment they shared and found no sign of her.

It was as if she vanished, but he felt some relief from his panic at the sight of her phone, keys and wallet not in their usual spot.

“Maybe she had an exam to take…” he murmured to himself, tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

He reached for his phone in his pocket and dialed her number.

“Hello?” Her voice resounded

“N/n!!! Y-“ he was about to continue until he heard the sound of his own laugh.

“Sorry! N/n is busy taking care of me right now,” Zenitsu heard his own voice speak loudly.

“I’ll call back soon! Ze-Zenitsu don’t do that!” He heard the sound of her laugh begin until it got cut off by the dial and beep.

He sighed and hung up, canceling the voicemail.

Soft steps and knocking filled his ears and he practically floated to the door expecting Y/n to be behind it. He flung it open but was met with the sight of Tanjiro’s smiling face with a box in his hands and Inosuke holding a gift bag.

“Happy birthday Zenitsu!” Tanjiro spoke excitedly as he handed him the box.

“Happy birthday Monitsu,” Inosuke spoke proudly as he pushed the bag into his chest, “I got you the best present by the way!”

Zenitsu’s large smile dropped into a smaller one. He had forgotten his own birthday. His hands took a hold of the two gifts from his friends as he placed them on a chair nearby.

Tanjiro and Inosuke looked at each other and nodded, a mischievous smile on both their faces as Inosuke dragged Zenitsu along and away from his home with Tanjiro following behind after securing the apartment door with its lock.

Zenitsu screamed and flailed his arms around as Inosuke threw him over his shoulder and carried him until he shoved him into the back seat of Tanjiro’s car.

“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH BOTH OF YOU?!?!” The golden eyed young man yelled as Tanjiro drove away from the parking lot, a laugh escaping his lips as Inosuke crossed his arm proudly.

The pair drove him around the city treating Zenitsu to snacks and whatever things he wanted.

“Have any of you heard from Y/n?” Zenitsu asked, his voice saddened and gaze downcast as he walked in between Tanjiro and Inosuke.

Inosuke and Tanjiro glanced at each other. Tanjiro placed a hand on Zenitsu’s shoulder, his voice soft, “I haven’t heard from her today. But don’t worry! I’m sure she’s just fine.”

“Yeah there’s no way anyone would think of bothering her aside from those dudes that circle her,” Inosuke laughed as he placed a hand on his free shoulder.

It clicked in his head.

“AHHHHHHHHHHH,” Zenitsu screamed as he gripped his hair, earning the stares of other people.

“Y/N IS ALL BY HERSELF WITH NO ONE TO PROTECT HER!!! QUICK WE HAVE TO GO SAVE HER FROM THOSE CREEPS THAT LOOK AT HER,” he yelled, tears brimming his eyes and a reddened tint on his cheeks as he gripped onto Tanjiro’s shirt.

A disturbed look formed on Tanjiro’s and Inosuke’s face as they watched his panicked state.

“DONT LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT!” He whined loudly.

Tanjiro took a quick glance at his phone, a smile on his face. He nodded in Inosuke’s direction, mouthing discretely, ‘it's go time’.

Inosuke understood as he threw Zenitsu over his shoulder again, a loud laugh erupting from the green eyed young man as he and Tanjiro began to run in the direction of where he had parked the car.

It was dark out, the sky becoming a smokey midnight blue and purple with faint gray string like clouds blocking the light of the emerging stars. Zenitsu gripped onto the head cushion of Tanjiro’s seat as he urged him to drive faster.

Inosuke reached behind him, tying a blindfold across Zenitsu’s eyes.

“WHAT THE HELL INOSUKE?!?” Zenitsu screeched as he was about to remove the blindfold.

“IF YOU TAKE IT OFF IM TELLING Y/N THAT EMBARRASSING THING YOU DID WHEN YOU WERE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL!” Inosuke threatened loudly, matching the volume of Zenitsu’s screams.

A loud crying sound erupted from Zenitsu, “DONT TELL HER!”

It was a miracle that Tanjiro was driving perfectly, his poor ears were getting destroyed by the two velociraptor-like screeches and screaming battle occurring on either side of him.

Zenitsu’s cries became soft whimpers as he heard the car come to a stop. Inosuke helped him out and carried him up the stairs.

Soft music filled his ears as they approached the front door. Inosuke set him down, Tanjiro’s soft knocks on the door resounded. The door opened quietly, quiet enough to not even reach his ears.

The trio stepped into the apartment, a warm ambience and the scent of vanilla filled the air.

He felt a familiar pair of hands reach behind his head, gently untying the blindfold. His eye sight adjusting to the sight of Y/n with minimal make up and in the sun yellow dress he had given her, a yellow flower crown on her head.

“Happy birthday Zeni,” her voice was soft and sweet, making his heart pound against his chest.

The apartment had been decorated with yellow and orange balloons floating and littering the ground. Star shaped streamers hung from the ceiling with golden fairy lights trickling down. A beautiful yellow frosted cake sat in the middle of the table with his favorite meal ready to be served.

“Thank you guys,” Y/n spoke happily as they nodded with happy smiles on their faces. She handed them both goody bags and elegantly packed food as they had agreed upon in their deal.

Tanjiro and Inosuke high fived each other as they quietly left, Tanjiro closing the door behind him.

“I’m sorry for making you worry,” she spoke sheepishly with a light blush, “Tanjiro was keeping me updated throughout the day.”

He remained quiet for a second.

“Zenitsu?” She questioned softly as her hand found its way to his cheek.

He pulled her into a tight hug, his cries filling her ears, “WAAAAAHHH!! N/N YOURE TOO SWEET! AN ANGEL! A GODDESS! A BEAUTIFUL GODDESS! EVERYTHING! I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU,” he nuzzled his cheek into her head as he cried.

She laughed softly as she returned the embrace, an arm gently wrapping around his neck while her other hand wiped away his streaming tears, “No crying,” her voice sweetly spoke.

“Happy birthday Zeni, I’m so happy that I got to celebrate your birthday with you even though it’s a little late. I just wanted it to be a good one for you,” her thumb gently caressing his cheek.

His hand enveloped hers, “It’s already the best one, because you’re here with me,” his voice adorably soft as the cute floral aura seemingly formed around him.

She felt her face warm, “I love you Zenitsu. I hope to spend a lot more birthdays with you.”

“I love you too Y/n,” he brought his face closer to hers.

Unconsciously, they pressed their lips together in a kiss. His kiss was soft and adorable as the warmth from his face radiated onto her skin. The softness of her lips left him feeling gushy and bubbly as he felt her arms around him.

They pulled away from the kiss, both their faces reddened.

“Well let’s go eat, birthday boy!” She mused happily as she guided him to the dinner table.

They ate dinner happily chatting away about Zenitsu’s whole trip with Y/n apologizing for tricking him and having Inosuke be the muscle of the gang.

She stood and came back with matches to the light the candles on the cake she had made for him. Carefully she lit each one, a soft smile on her face as she glanced and saw the happy expression on Zenitsu’s face.

“Make a wish Zeni,” she spoke softly as she got her camera to take pictures of him beautifully illuminated by the warm candle light.

He closed his eyes as a soft smile formed on his lips, wishing in his mind,

“I hope that one day you’ll marry me and that I can always make you happy, because I love you Y/n.”

It was one of his best birthdays.

Hi guys! It’s been a while since I’ve really talked to anyone here or posted anything. Life has been busy but at the same time I’ve been in a slump and have been unproductive ;~; Still, I’m smashing through my writer’s block so I can continue doing what I love the most --writing. 

I have some updates under the cut (commissions, projects, a big THANK YOU message)! Idk if anyone will read it ^^; But I’ve been MIA and have some things to say so...I guess I’ll get right down to it! :D

• Commissions are currently CLOSED. I want to focus on finishing the ones I currently have and once I’m done with all of them, I’ll open commissions again! To those who commissioned me, thank you so much for all the support and for trusting me to write your stories <3 Also, thank you for your patience ;A; I’ll get your stories to you soon!

• New Projects! I’ll still finish the MM fics that I have right now (or I’ll try to! as much as I can!) like Avenged and V’s Reset Theory Fic. I also want to revamp On the Line when I get the chance to and hopefully finish the story! I’ve had the entire story mapped out but didn’t get to really finish it ;A; Would you still be interested in reading it? ^^; Let me know! 

Aside from my old works though, I’m also looking to busying myself with new projects ^^ If you haven’t seen me spamming my blog yet, please check out the original story I’m working on with the ever-brilliant @rossyele​ <3 It’s a story about two lovers and it’s packed with fluff, angst, action, suspense, a lot of questions and hints (to which some have been trying to connect the dots but hehe no spoilers ;) ) and well, will there be smut? • Lastly, thank you thank you so much for 4,167 followers!  AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I haven’t been active much but I see the likes, comments and reblogs on my stories and fjal;skjflkdja I APPRECIATE YOU ALL! It’s heartwarming to see how my stories from 1,2 years ago are still being read and it’s really inspiring me to write more :) To a writer, every like, comment or reblog means a whole lot so thank you so much, to old friends and new ones! THANK YOU!

The world is going through a tough time right now. All of us are affected by this pandemic and I hope all of you are safe and healthy! I want to write more because stories take us on all sorts of adventures and pull us into different worlds. We get to meet amazing characters that make us laugh, cry, laugh and cry at the same time (It’s possible. It’s not attractive, but yeahhh :)) ) and just bring us comfort in these times. We may not be able to physically leave our homes but I hope my stories (and yours! I read fics when i have the time so please don’t hesitate to share your fics to me ;w;) can take your mind off of reality for a little while and keep you company ^^

Continuing on. Arwin who paid full attention to Latte, of course, noticing she’s fretting more about dance step rather than enjoying the dance itself, went to assure her not to worry and just look at him.

(DAMN BOI, THAT’S LIKE, THIRD STRIKE U R ON A ROLL TODAY HUH?)

Latte, finally relaxed enough to just dance without any worry, start to appreciating the beautiful, majestic scenery, the gentle atmosphere, and Arwin - who she finally noticed - only looked at her.

DEAD! WE’RE DEADDDDDDD!! DEAD WE SAIIIIIDDDDD!!! (psychopath division = WHAT IS THIS FEELING? WHAT IS THIS FEELING??) I WANT TO SHOUT SOMETHING AT THE PRETTY SUNSET SCENE BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAID AHHHHHHHHHHH!!

oh but it seems Latte still only consider you as friend Arwin. It's not your fault, it's just...you're still in uber and deadly pretty, but unattainable fictional character in novel in her perception (even though she had lived for years in this same novel). It's... It's okay, man, you can do it, she just need more time to let all this sink in (in the meantime, please keep doing your baka couple thingie)

so Latte then reviewing post note of this particular event with her novel knowledge. By the way, we notice that she, like, totally forgot to watch Ibelin and two fish because of her own dance (good job Arwin! We love you two more than Ibelin x 2 fishes! Keep up the good work!)

Also, Esula the gossipmonger treated us with Peridot‘s update = the scary lady start chasing Arwin, but blocked by Aroblock (heh) who said he’s not inside the tower at the moment (probably stalking Latte?) or did Aroblock and other mages protecting their master from hungry, scary ladies? heh heh. Latte speculates that Arwin probably kills them all if they dare to attack him like Kenneth fans are (we kinda agree on that, well - girls who just annoying probably got thrown bodily like Iron mentalle , but if you attack him physically, dude, expect no mercy)

We also given information about Peridot attacking Ibelin….by spreading rumors? so girls fight is spreading rumors and bitchslaps (Latte already master of handling the latter, the previous……seems not so). fish 1 and 2 protecting Ibelin from Peridot’s attack and became exhausted themselves = uh why? it’s just rumors? can’t you just ignore them?

Adventures are the best when you’re with your boys. The eight best friends. It all started when you graduated high school. Not the best friend part, no, we’d have to go way back for that one. But this, ‘adventure’ thing, started right when you threw that cap into the air.

“(Y/n) let’s go.” Jungkook whispers to you, pulling you to the side, away from all the newly graduated students, abandoning your graduation cap on the ground. The maknae dragged you to the parking lot, you tripping along the way.

“Jungkook what the heck?” You yell when he pushed you into the front seat of the car.

“Put your seat belt on,” he says, backing up the car and driving off to who knows where.

“First of all, where are we going? Second of all, you made me scrape my ankle!” You hissed,  wiping off the blood from your ankle with the bottom of your graduation gown. Not having anything else to wipe it with.

“We’re meeting the guys somewhere. I promised that we’d come after graduation.”

Jungkook and you were the youngest from the group. The rest already graduated years before the two of you. They were in college while you and Jungkook were in high school, but that didn’t end your friendship. It probably even made it stronger.

“And you didn’t bother to tell me because…”

“I don’t know, I guess I forgot. We were graduating after all.”

“Where are we going anyways? Where are we meeting them?” Jungkook grabs his phone from the cup holder and gives it to you. You unlock it to see a text from Seokjin. There was an address on it. It was unfamiliar to you.

“Where is this?” You said, looking up to Jungkook, who kept his eyes on the road and his face serious. Why is he being so serious and strange all of a sudden? You also notice that the car ride was quiet. That was even stranger. Usually, car rides with Jungkook, or any of the boys, were everything but quiet. Especially with Jungkook, who likes to blast his favorite music and sing along to them. Now he was quiet, with a serious expression on his face. It was scaring you a bit. You’ve never seen him this serious before. His jaw was clenched, his eyebrows were furrowed, and his hands gripping the wheel tight. You stare at him, his hair slightly messy from the cap, but still fixed nicely. His graduation gown still on but unzipped so you can see the suit he’s wearing under. You keep your eyes locked on him, trying to read his thoughts. Then the car stops and he stares back at you.

“What?” You blink a couple times and shrug in response. You look to your front and you see that you’re in front of an abandoned warehouse.

“Jungkook, what are we doing here?” You look back to your side to see the driver’s seat empty. Your eyebrows scrunch together in confusion, and when you turn around, Taehyung’s face was pressed against the window, scaring you.

“AH!” You yelled, jumping back, making the older guy laugh. You huff and push the door open, shoving Taehyung back.

“You were.. So scared..” Taehyung says in between laughs. You scrunch your nose and slap him playfully on the chest.

“Shut up.”

“I’m kidding I’m kidding,” he says after he’s calm down. He pulls you into a hug, congratulating you for graduating high school.

“Come on, the others are waiting.” He grabs your hand and pulls you into the building.

It was dark and creepy inside. You literally could see nothing. The darkness gave you chills down your spine and made the hairs on your arm stand up. Why did the boys have to pick a place like this to go to right after graduation? You were in a short dress and heels, and still wearing your graduation gown unzipped over it. You couldn’t see where the other boys were at and if they were hiding in attempt to scare you. You held onto Taehyung’s hand tighter, afraid that his hand will slip and then he’d disappear as fast as Jungkook did.

“Are you scared?” You hear Taehyung say. You nod your head yes, which was a stupid thing to do since he couldn’t see you, so you voiced it out.

“Yeah. Don’t let go.” He chuckles slightly, letting go of your hand and wrapping his arm around you so you’d feel safer.

“You’re fine, everyone else is right over there.” You didn’t know where ‘there’ was, but Tae started walking and so you just moved your feet to follow.

You didn’t know how Taehyung could see in the darkness but then you saw that he was just following the light that wasn’t there before.

“Ah there you guys are, what took you so long?” You squint at the flashlight being shone on your face.

“Here,” Namjoon hands you a flashlight for yourself, and one for Taehyung.

“Tae, how did you manage to go there and back without a flashlight?” Jimin asks Taehyung curiously, tilting his head to the side.

“Honestly, I don’t know. I just did,” he shrugs.

“Guys, what are we doing here?” You ask, not liking the atmosphere of the place.

“We’re starting your first hours of freedom with an adventure,” Hoseok says all to happily, but deep down, you know he’s afraid too.

“Yah, can you stop?” You shine your flashlight over to the source of the voice. Yoongi squints at the bright lights, blocking it with his one free hand. Hoseok was smiling with his eyes close, obviously terrified with the situation as much as you were. He was clinging onto Yoongi’s arm. Tightly.

“This is an adventure?” You ask questioningly.

“It’s an abandoned warehouse! Abandoned buildings are always adventures--”

“Death traps. They’re death traps Namjoon. Have you watched any scary movies ever?” You say, clinging onto Tae’s shirt a little tighter. The older guys laughed at you. They thought it was adorable how scared you were. You glared at them through the flashlight and darkness, knowing that they were scared too. Well, all of them but Jungkook and Namjoon. Seokjin, Hoseok and Jimin were the easily scared ones. Yoongi and Taehyung were half and half, depending on the situation.

“We’ll be fine (Y/n), come on.” Jungkook says, shining the flashlight through the room, the rest following him while you and Taehyung stayed back a bit.

“We’ll be okay,” Taehyung reassured. But there was something that was telling you otherwise.

“Oh look,” Namjoon says, bending down to pick up something off of the floor. It was a box titled, ‘DANGER DO NOT OPEN’.

“Namjoon don’t touch that.” You said, after reading what was printed on the box.

“Relax princess, I’m pretty sure it’s nothing too bad. This warehouse was abandoned almost half a century ago.” Without another word, Namjoon opened the box, revealing it as empty.

“See, it’s nothing.” Then you heard a crash and footsteps afterwards. Your breath hitched and you quickly attached yourself back to Taehyung who never left your side.

“GUESS WHAT WE FOUND?” It was Jungkook and Jimin. The two were smiling so big and there faced showed how amazed they were.

“What is it?” Tae asks, wanting to know what was so great.

“Come find out!” Jimin yells, before the two disappeared again into the darkness. The three of you follow the two boys. You followed them until you couldn’t see them anymore.

“JIMIN? JUNGKOOK?” Namjoon yells through the darkness. He heard nothing but his own voice echoing back.

“Where are they?”

“AHHHHHHHHHHH!!” The two boys yell out as they jump at you three. Making you and Tae fall back a bit, half expecting it.

“You guys are annoying, where’s Jinnie, Hobi, and Yoongs?” The two in front of you shrug and you, Tae, and Namjoon turn around to walk back to where you were when three pairs of eyes were looking at you, making the three of you jump again.

“AH!”

“WHAT THE--” “NGGDSAAA--” You didn’t even know what sound that was that came out of Tae’s mouth but you put your hand on your overly beating heart. Jimin and Jungkook laughing their butts off behind you again.

“HAHA We got you!!!”

It was when the missing three were in front of you laughing, the annoying two behind you laughing, and the two boys clinging next to you breathing heavily, you noticed that you all were finally together once again, but… what was that? You were hearing something from a few rooms away. It couldn’t possibly be anyone else. Everyone was here with you, and no one else was here. Like what Namjoon said. It’s been almost half a century since this warehouse was abandoned. Who else could possibly be here?

Tae must’ve sensed that you were scared again, he held you tighter. You were closest to Taehyung in the whole group. He was the first one you met out of the boys, so you bonded for a longer time than anyone else. You looked up into his eyes. Worry displayed in his while he stared at your fearful ones.

“Hey guys,” Taehyung says, peeling his eyes away from you and looking at the boys. They stopped laughing and listened to Taehyung with smiles still plastered on their faces.

“I think we should go.”

“Are you scared Tae Tae?” Jin asks teasingly.

“OH MY GOSH,” Taehyung yells all of a sudden, pointing behind Jin, making the older one scream.

“AHHHHHH,” Jin yells falling towards you and Taehyung.

“Yeah, I’m the scared one,” Tae scoffs, pushing off Jin who was clinging onto his waist.

“(Y/n) is feeling uncomfortable, it’s getting late anyways we shoul--”

“Hey this is my grad night too, it won’t be fun if one of us were gone, and I want to stay. (Y/n) come on, don’t ruin this for me.” Jungkook says, looking at you with disappointed eyes and walking away. You sigh and follow him. Taehyung grabs your wrist and holds you back.

“(Y/n) don’t listen to him, we could go if you really--”

“No, he’s right. I don’t want to ruin this for him. It’s his day too.” Tae bit his bottom lip and nods. The two of you follow Jungkook to wherever he was walking to with the rest following behind. Taehyung intertwined his hands into yours, giving it a squeeze. You weren’t alone on this one, Tae could feel something was wrong too.

“Are you guys really doing this?!” Hobi asks in fear. The boys were sitting on the ground, Kook holding a portable projector in his hand, standing next to Hobi.

“Hoseok, just sit down,” the younger one says, pushing Hobi down with the rest of the boys.

“I’m sitting between you guys, I’m not going to be in the corner.” Hobi says, squeezing between Yoongi and Jimin. You were sat between Taehyung and Jimin but Jungkook quickly sat between you and Jimin once he got everything set up. It was Jungkook’s idea all along to watch a horror movie in that warehouse. Despite the protests of not wanting to do it, the maknae got all of you to sit down for the movie. The only ones voicing out their fears were Hoseok and Yoongi. The two who hated horror movies the most.

“Jimin, switch me,” Yoongi says, getting up.

“Why? I like it here.”

“I don’t want to be at the end, come on, get up.”

“No, I don’t either.”

Jungkook sighs loudly before getting up and sitting where Yoongi was. Yoongi smiles with his gums out, squishing between you and Jimin.

“What movie is this?” You ask.

“Lights out,” Jungkook says calmly, Hoseok and Yoongi groaning.

“Wow,” you said, “fitting.”

After all the screaming, mostly from Hobi, the movie was finally over. It all ended with Yoongi and Hoseok clinging onto Jimin, hiding their faces on Jimin’s shoulders. Jin hugging Namjoon’s arm tightly. Jungkook asleep on Hoseok’s lap, and you wearing Tae’s hoodie and laying on his shoulder. You weren’t going to lie, the movie was creepier in the dark, around midnight, in an abandoned warehouse, but being around your friends all close like this made you feel safer. You yawned, almost falling asleep. You couldn’t lift your tired eyes anymore and the sound of Tae’s snores above your head was making you fall asleep even faster. 3. 2. 1. And you were knocked out, and so was everyone else.

You woke up to someone shaking you, and you groan in response.

“(Y/n), wake up,” you hear someone whisper, pulling you out of your deep sleep. You groan again, but opening your eyes slowly. Blinking them to adjust your focus. It was Tae, and he looked worried, or more of afraid.

“Tae what’s wrong?” You manage to get out. Your voice rough. You see him visibly swallow and you look around you to see the boys still asleep.

“We have to go,” he says, “help me wake them up.”

“Tae, why are you rushing? What’s going on?” You ask again, then you realize something.

“Wait, what time is it?” He hands you your phone and you notice it’s only three in the morning. But why was it so bright in here? You look up and notice the lights were all turned on. How was that possible?

“How-- how did you turn them on?” You ask, looking at Tae who shook his head no vigorously.

“I didn’t, it-- it’s not even possible. Like what Namjoon said. This place was abandoned almost fifty years ago (Y/n). No one has been here since.”

“Then how--”

“Let’s hurry and wake them up. We have to go now.” Taehyung starts to wake up the others, but you sat there frozen. Then you heard something. You and Taehyung’s head whipped towards the entrance. You look at each other with fearful eyes. The eight of you trespassed a building, you knew that. But it wasn’t the police. If it was you’d hear sirens. But instead you heard quiet footsteps. Taehyung opens his mouth, breathing heavily.

“We’re not alone.”

We Are Not Stoppin’

Pairing: LMM x Reader

Warnings: cursing, alcohol.

Notes: I decided I wanted to write about Lin in PR for 200 Cartas...then I trapped him in a hotel room so you never see PR-oops. Mainly fluff, a teeny bit frisky.

“That’s it! You got it, every line.”, you say, closing the script and tossing it on the bed. “Yes!”, Lin yells and does a little victory dance. He runs over to you and grabs your hand to spin you into a haphazard, kinda-salsa dance across the hotel room. When he spins you to a stop, he takes an extravagant bow in front of an imaginary audience. You laugh and fan yourself “Turn up the AC, will ya?”, you call over your shoulder as you go to use the bathroom.

When you come back, Lin is starfished on the bed. “Do you want the bad news or the really bad news?”, he asks, staring at the ceiling. “Oh god what?”, you say as you sink into a chair. Jesus it’s hot. “There’s been a power cut-therefore no AC.” he says, sitting up. “Oh god. Wait, what’s the really bad news?” you ask.

Lin grimaces. “Power’s out everywhere. This is as cool as it’s gonna get. And there’s no rain forecast until tomorrow.”. “WHAT?! Oh my god.”, you slump in your chair. You check your watch. “It’s not even the hottest part of the day yet”, you whine.

“I know. It’s worse outside or I’d be on the balcony right now.” he replies. “I’m gonna text the producers, see if the other hotels are affected.” He fires off a text and some tweets to see what he can find out. “Is there an ice machine on this corridor?”, you ask. Lin shrugs as he scrolls through Twitter replies.

You get up and put the latch on the room door “If I’m not back in ten, I’ve melted”, you joke. You walk the length of the corridor and find nothing. You consider checking other floors but stairs in this heat...nope. You bump into another guest who is holding a battery-operated mini fan. You briefly consider mugging them but instead exchange complaints about the heat.

When you get back to the room, Lin hasn’t moved. “No ice. Is there a fan in the closet?”, you ask. Lin looks at you with one eyebrow raised. “Right. No power.”. “The nearest place with power is Mayagüez”, Lin says. You hate when he speaks even the tiniest bit of Spanish, it’s distractingly sexy.

These last two weeks working together have involved a lot of trying to ignore the many things he does that you find sexy. He could at least have the good grace to be stupid or mean or something but nope-he’s charming, friendly, incredibly smart. There was no way you weren’t going to have an instant crush on him.

“It’s too far to go and get back for filming tomorrow anyway...so we’re stuck”, Lin says, tossing his phone on the bedside table. “You wanna play charades?”, he jokes. “Ugh I’m too sober for this shit”, you say as you flop onto the bed next to him. Lin gives a short laugh, then after a beat gasps and bounces to his feet. “You genius, Y/N!”, he cries. “The mini bar-it’s like the only cold thing in this place-the beer is ICE COLD”, he says excitedly as he opens the door under the desk.

When he hands you the cold bottle you immediately press it to your forehead and moan with pleasure. “That is heaven”, you exclaim. Lin clambers back onto the bed beside you and holds up his beer in a toast “To mini bars!!”, he says as you clink bottles. “The fridge won’t be cold for much longer now that the power is out, so drink quickly”, he jokes.

The icy liquid cools your throat and you swear the temperature in the room drops by a degree as you drink. “Alright, no tv, gotta save phone battery-what are we gonna do to amuse ourselves?”, Lin asks. You can think of a few things but none are suggestions you can say out loud to him. “Top 5s?”, you suggest-it’s a game you’ve played on location while the crew have been camera blocking and you’ve been standing in for Dayanara. Lin’s encyclopaedic knowledge means he’s infinitely more decisive than you but you love listening to him enthuse about stuff.

“Alright, Top 5...movies where the main character dies”, Lin begins. “Cheery.”, you joke.

The 3rd beer really interferes with your “Name that tune” capabilities as you keep collapsing into giggles mid-hum and Lin can’t keep track of what’s going on. “Just whistle it!”, he keeps insisting. “I can’t whistle!”, you tell him for the third time. “Everyone can whistle.”, he insists for the third time. “Uhoh.”. “What’s up?” you ask from your prone position on the floor. “No more beers. It’s on to the hard stuff. Or tap water”, he says. “Can you even drink the tap water here?”, you ask as you come to check out the fridge.

“That’s it!!”, Lin says, grabbing you by the shoulders. “We won’t drink it! We’ll sit in it!”, he says excitedly. “What are you talking about? How many beers have you had?”, you tease. He’s already headed for the bathroom and shouts over his shoulder “Cold bath-like the opposite of a hot tub”.

“Yeah that’s not a thing, Lin-but you do you”, you reply. You start to clear up the beer bottles and laugh as you hear the water start to run. There’s a knock at the door and you shout to Lin that you’ll answer it.

You’re greeted by a member of the hotel staff. “Hello Ma’am, I must apologise about the power-totally out of our control but we’ll try to make you as comfortable as possible.”. She hands you a case of bottled water and advises you that there’ll be no charge for anything from the mini bar.

As you close the door you yell “Lin! Guess what?!”. And that’s when he appears in the doorway wearing just a towel. Damn. You’ve seen him this way before of course, it’s been warm while filming and most of the male cast and crew have wandered round in just shorts during downtime. But still... damn.

“Y/N? What’s up?”, he asks. You give yourself a little shake and tell him about the free mini bar. “Nice!”, he says as he takes a bottle of water from you. “Come on-bathtime!”, he jokes. “Lin, don’t be ridiculous.”, you laugh. “Suit yourself, I’m goin’ in!”, he says. “What? I’ve got my shorts on, it’s not that weird”, he shrugs. “It’s weird.”, you answer as you follow him to the bathroom.

The tub is giant, so it still hasn’t finished filling, but Lin gets in anyway. “Ahhhhhhhhhhh god that’s so much better”, he sighs. You roll up your jeans and perch on the side of the bath, dangling your legs in the water as Lin turns off the tap. “Ohhh that’s good.”, you say. Lin grins at you before challenging you to a round of 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon.

An hour later and having given up on poor Kevin, the conversation has moved on to home. Lin’s been recounting some of his experiences in getting his play showcased at college. “And look at you now, maestro-Tony winner, movie star”, you tease. “Y/N, come on”, he says, a little embarrassed. “None of that stuff really matters...”, he says. “Bet it gets you a lot of dates though”, you joke as you sip another bottle of water.

Lin just gives you a withering look. “What no stories about romantic trysts with your leading ladies?”, you continue to tease. He shakes his head. “Lin, you’re literally acting opposite Miss Universe -you’re not interested?!”, you say. “Firstly”, he says as he deliberately splashes you with cold water. “She’s married”. He scoots over to your side of the bath as his splash assault intensifies and you squeal in protest, covering your face. “Secondly, my interests lie elsewhere”. “Argh! Stop! I’ll stop bugging you I swear! Truce! Truce!”, you laugh.

Suddenly he’s not splashing you any more and you uncover your face to see him climbing out of the bath and grabbing a towel. “Hey”, you say more softly as you swing your legs to the floor and pat your feet down with a towel. “I was just kidding around.”.

“I know.”, he says quietly, still facing away from you. “No, hey, it’s none of my business where your ‘interests lie’”, you say regretfully. He turns to face you, smiling. “It is actually.”, he says a little more brightly. “It’s very much your business...my interests lie in you”, he admits.

You don’t say a word, struck dumb. Simultaneously wondering if you misheard him or if it’s the beer talking. “Me?”, you manage to ask. Lin stands a little straighter. “Yeah. I was thinking of asking you out.”, he says a little more boldly. You can’t keep from grinning like a fool. He grins back and you both just stare at each other-neither one quite knowing what to do.

“I’m acutely aware that I’m soaking wet and wearing a towel right now”, Lin jokes uneasily. “I don’t want to be creepy bathroom dude who tries to kiss you”, he says and bites his lip. In a split second you reply “Then I’d better be the one to kiss you.”, and you close the distance between you. He smiles in relief and takes your hand. You give it a squeeze and then guide it to your hip. You link your arms behind his neck as you brush your lips against his.

As he kisses you back-soft, unassuming-his grip on your hips tightens, causing you to sigh and press your tongue against his lips, begging entrance to his mouth. He obliges immediately and your tongue strokes against his.

Your belly leaps at the intimate contact and you wonder if it’s possible that he felt those butterflies as he grunts and takes full control of the kiss. His hand goes to your face, tilting your head to the other side. Then he slowly decreases the intensity and pace, switching to brushing your lips tenderly, over and over. When he stops, it’s to break into a smile, lips still against yours. With a final peck, he pulls back to be able to look at you.

“I’ve been wanting to do that for a week.”, he says. “Why didn’t you?”, you tease. “Why didn’t you?!”, he jokes back. “Because, I...wait, can we like, leave the bathroom? I feel weird being in the bathroom.”, you say. Lin rolls his eyes and tugs your hand as he leads you back to the bedroom. You sit on the bed as he checks the door is locked.

“I didn’t come on to you because, as we previously covered, you’re a movie star. And I’m not.”, you say matter-of-factedly. Lin screws up his face and asks “So?”. He’s fiddling with his towel and glancing around the room. You point to where his jeans are. “Thanks...”, he says, “Now, avert your eyes, young lady”. “What?” “I’m changing, avert your eyes!”.

You clap a hand over your eyes and hear him wrestle with his wet shorts. “You’re a movie star and generally speaking, movie stars aren’t interested in me”, you say. “Only because they haven’t met you”, Lin counters. You feel the bed sink a little and realise Lin has come to sit in front of you. You uncover your eyes and he’s mirroring your position-legs crossed, facing one another. “Why didn’t you come on to me?”, you ask. “I did...eventually.”, he grins. “Hurrah for broken air con and those three beers!”, you joke.

“Hey.”, Lin chides. “Nothing to do with the beers, I just saw my opportunity. I was gonna wait til we were back in New York in case you felt weird-us working together, y’know.”. You nod. “Maybe we should wait til we get back?”, you wonder out loud. Lin looks at you with those soulful brown eyes and asks “Do you want to?”. You shake your head no, a shy, uncertain smile on your lips. Lin lets out a breath “Phew, cos I don’t know if I could keep my hands off you for another week!”, he says and immediately leans forward for another kiss.

You lean back, uncrossing your legs and pulling at Lin’s shoulders to bring him with you as you lie back. He makes a surprised noise but it’s swallowed by your kiss as he settles beside you, one leg over yours and his hand laid across the round of your stomach. You half-turn towards him, demanding more from the kiss.

And you get more. His tongue fights yours for dominance, your mouths clumsy from need. Lin’s hand slips under your shirt, he’s running his thumb over your skin and skimming your ribcage. As his fingers skirt the edge of your bra

Lin’s phone rings on the bedside table, rudely halting your impromptu make-out session. You both groan as you pull apart. He leans over you to retrieve the phone, flopping back on the bed as he answers. “Ok...yeah. Ok...great. Yep. See you in a bit”, he says. He sits up and you follow. “Producers want me downstairs to talk scheduling”, he says. “Ok”, you say, straightening your shirt and hopping off the bed.

“Lin? They want you now?”, you clarify, since he hasn’t moved. “Uhhh, it’s gonna be a minute.”, he cringes and looks down to his lap. You follow his gaze and see the problem. There’s a bulge in his jeans that’s not suitable for public viewing. You laugh and clamp your hand over your mouth.

“Shut up, this is all your fault”, he grumbles.

Episode 1: “Why is my tribe all these musty men and Ruthie?” -Ali

-I'm writing this pre-cast reveal and I'm scared shitless. Dear future Jess, Don't puke before tribals because of anxiety. Don't let the m*n tell you what to do. Don't get in your head and trust your gut. Sincerely, Pre-Cast Reveal Jess.

- Now where do I begin.... It's day 2? I believe.... in this game and I've already spiralled and showed the signs of a future crackhead. In all seriousness though, I've calmed down and the initial shock of cast reveal has worn off. I was a bit shook seeing some of the people in this cast playing. I've literally hosted a large chunk of these people so I REALLY HOPE NONE OF THAT COMES TO BITE ME IN THE ASS (I don't think it will). I hope people realize I wasn't really paying close attention to their games when hosting.. and if I was... I have the memory of a pebble. I'm sure none of that will have an impact on anyone besides maybe Ali. BUT ALI IF YOU ARE READING THIS.. DAY 2 JESS REALLY WANTS TO WORK WITH YOU! Now lets talk about my tribe: - We got Rachael/Zach who are super close or at least have some sort of connection through his sister. - We got Birch/Keegan regardless of whatever they are pushing about doubts with each other I can see them cleaning that slat in the name of numbers. - Me and Gavin because I'm the only one he knows in this game. - Possibly me/Timmy if he wants to work with me. - Possibly me/Chips hoping he remembers I did show how blindly loyal I was to him the last game we were in.... - Bodhi might be in with people like Zach (who he was hosting) and Rachael. - John honestly... I have no idea about. He's such a wild card for me. My overall thought process and game plan right now is... BLUID THOSE RELATIONSHIPS! I think I proved with my challenge performance I am an asset to this tribe but I want to show people I can be an asset to them. I can see us swapping at 16 so I'm going to be around this tribe for a bit so I need people to want me around. So far I'm getting along with Keegan he seems like a cool cat. I'm also aware he's probably a cool cat in everyone's eyes but for right now.. I really like him! Birch is definitely a social beast. From what I remembered they were an extremely social player in the season I hosted them but they are very transparent with their information which does scare me. For the time being though, I'll attempt to work my magic with them and build that trust so the information spills to me.. Rachael is a queen. I really want to work with her because I do see similarities between our playing style which is something I always gravitate towards in games. I'm naive and I do know she has other people higher up on that trust-ladder based off of initial relationships but I do hope to somehow climb that. Although I do know she will be a power play in this game, I know I'm going to need other power players around me to ensure there is a target ahead of me. She also brings connections which typically brings in information. So rather than be a crackhead and go for her (which is what cast reveal night Jess thought about) I'm going to try and work with her. Zach.. honestly, I don't know how much I have in common with a teenage boy so that might be a road block between us. He is one of those key-relationships I hope to build off of through Rachael. I will also die if Rachael/Zach aren't that close and I'm just rambling shit right now. Gavin is one of my FIRST ORG friends and I'm SO HAPPY TO SEE HIM PLAYING THIS GAME. I don't think anyone right now knows we are close but I'm not afraid to cut him if it means I go further in this game. I'm not really sure about my tribes chances for this first immunity challenge. Everyone aside for a few people on this tribe seem like they have their shit together in this challenge. I know the "movie trivia" crew snapped hard and my back hurts from carrying my tribe but.... our chances of winning rely on Timmy (who is on vacation), Gavin who is probably working or something, and Bodhi who is hosting currently. So to say I'm confident.... would be a giant ass lie. I'm excited for the idol search to open up SO BAD.

-Cast is revealed and game starts in a half hour. I’m feeling excited. I hope I do better in this season than the game I did last, 17th. Ughhhhhh, grosss

- I’m having fun doing the quotes, it’s interesting. I feel like I’m getting along well with everyone. I’m trying to talk to them all and interact. If I’m amusing they won’t get rid of me. Right? Right? Somebody tell me I’m right

-Okay tea time!  I'm really excited. I had to add A LOT of people I have never talked to before and I always like doing that because I LOOOOVE playing with people that don't know how I play and also getting to know clean people and starting with a clean slate! The only people I had added on my tribe are Jay and Ali and I LIKE that!   I'm excited to talk to people, scope everyone out a little and see what I need to do.  This game and the theming is SO CUTE and I can't wait to see what all happens next!

-That 36 person cast twist not being real...big disappointment, I was hoping for a huge mess where someone cries. But 20 people, good size. My tribe seems like good people so this should be exciting.

- So we lost the first immunity challenge. Seems like it’s unanimous for John to go. Works for me as he is who I wanted out when I woke up this morning since we hadn’t spoken. He keeps saying he wants someone who was weak in the challenge out and didn’t tell me a name but told Rachel, Bodhi. Funny thing is, John did worse in his challenge than anyone in the quotes group so therefore his own logic can be used against him.

-AHHHHHHHHHHH MY PEOPLE ARE HERE I DON"T KNOW WHO I WANNA WORK WITH. There is king ali, my bae Austin, bestie jay, and really old time friend Collin in this one tribe. I'm not even counting people on the other tribe. I'm gonna lose so hard. I'm crying tho

-When I was meeting my tribe for the first time I was thinking that we have a very good group here. I'm glad to see Bodhi again cuz I haven't seen him since Trinity: P&P a few months ago. I think that with the additions of Birch and Keegan to our tribe I think we're gonna win some challenges. So I'm hoping for the best and not the worst for this team.

- So we're all waiting for the results of the 1st challenge, and I'm feeling a little nervous that my tribe may lose, but I'm hoping that we do win because I want this season to start off on a good note for my tribe. I'm just hoping that we pull this off and not blow this.

-I love my Tribe!! I'm super excited to play with Keegan and Timmy again! I'm trying to get closer with everyone else since I haven't played with them before. I'm also kinda nervous for the challenge. I have a weird taste in music so we will see how this goes. I really hope I'm not first boot. Kinda bummed the movie challenge didn’t go so well hope we don’t have to go to tribal this early

-Hello hello! I am SO happy to be back in atomic Survivor! I feel like things are off to a really nice start and I'm hoping that will continue. For now I'll do a little assessment of my tribe before we find out results for the first challenge. Ali - I've seen him around in the community a lot for years, im pretty sure I was around when he played his first game. But I don't remember if I've ever had the chance to actually play WITH him. He's such a nice guy I've loved talking with him so far Austin - Lmao the funny thing is I actually talked to him for the first time ever like a week ago. A real lucky break that he and I were both part of this casting twist. We immediately started talking and agreed to look out for each other. Cindi - this is my first time meeting her ever! She seems really rad and we've just been talking about life and tattoos and shit lmao. I can definitely see myself working with her in the future. Collin - y'all I LOVE Collin. I just played with him in Mesopotamia, and even though he voted me out I never had any bitterness towards him cause he's just that nice. He's definitely been the person I've talked to the most so far. We have a lot in common and I really want to trust him. But I am still a bit wary bc of Mesopotamia. Czern - I don't really have a read on him yet. Haven't spoken to him too much. Dan - Same as Czern but I haven't spoken to Dan at all Vi - Vi is such a ray of sunshine, I've loved her ever since I met her in Tashirojima. In fact my biggest mistake in that game IMO was voting her out. I'm 100% working with her this time. Ruthie - It's been so long since I've talked to Ruthie and I'm so glad that this game gives me the chance to reconnect with her. An absolute legend and one of the nicest people I've ever met. I haven't talked strategy with her yet but that'll come soon lol Timmy - Yo he DESTROYED that music challenge and I'm super grateful for that. I've talked to him a little bit and he's pretty nice but I don't really have any further opinions on him lol

- Reallllly glad we didn't have to go to tribal tonight. I've been really busy today so it would've been a really rough time. But instead I got to enjoy my day, but of course I socialized with my tribe. I feel really close with Collin, Ali, and Ruthie. Granted those are relationships that started outside of this game, but they're relationships nonetheless. I really vibe with Austin too, even though I talk to him a little less, we're bonded through that opening twist. And the best thing is Austin mentioned vibing with all those people + Vi (who's great as well, I just haven't talked any strategy with her yet) so I smell an alliance starting sometime soon. I just feel really well about the start of this game and im hoping it can last.

-First confessional of the season! I debated making a video but then I realized that's a lore more work and harder for me to have actual organized thoughts. Going back to the start of the game: I know RACHAEL, BIRCH, CHIPS, JAY, VI, CINDI, DAN and RUTHIE. The only person I don't know anything about is CZERN. So I've got a pretty stacked cast of people I can potentially work with moving forward. But I currently have three goals for this season: 1. Make the merge or swap so I can play with VI. Even if we don't work together, I'd love to play with her! She rules! 2. Make sure JAY gets voted out before myself. As a fellow winner, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE. 3. Make sure DAN gets voted out before myself. He's a sneaky snake and I won't ever trust him after Nova Scotia. First off, I'm in an awesome alliance with BIRCH and JESS. It's only three people so it's not a clear majority but it's a good start. We formed this literally 10 minutes after the challenge had ended. Speaking of the challenge, it was a fun challenge but we did lose. However, JESS, RACHAEL, CHIPS and myself were the only ones who won our portion of the challenge, so I've been subtly hinting that I wouldn't feel right if any of us were voted out. GAVIN told me that TIMMY and BODHI didn't contribute much of anything to their part of the challenge, so that's a possible decision when it comes to this tribal. However, JOHN has been very difficult to have a conversation with and I've been told that him and BODHI won't vote for each other. So right now it's just working with JESS and BIRCH to determine what the best option is moving forward. I'm thinking I can get RACHAEL, ZACH and GAVIN on board with whatever we decide. Tune in later for some more thoughts.

-I wanna say it’s be super eventful but not really. Just a few small things: CHIPS has been telling everyone everything. He told JOHN he was the vote. He told JESS about the GAVIN thing. He needs to learn to keep things to himself if he doesn’t want to be gone next. JOHN tried throwing ZACH under the bus for not being good in challenges. I had a call with BODHI and apparently ZACH is a comp beast. So that’s not happening. If everything is as planned JOHN should be the unanimous vote. I might throw a stray vote on CHIPS just in case of an idol play but I’m undecided.

So this round I got super close with Austin and Collin, and close with cindi, and okay close with everyone else. I killed it in the music challenge because I  did not feel confident I wouldn’t go home if we lost. I need to tighten my bonds and hopefully make a solid group before the next round. I have no real targets atm but Ruthie and I have yet to speak so that’s awkward. I kinda wish I was on the other tribe because I feel like I’d vibe with them better. I had to make sure I was the first to go into the treehouse because I wanted to be open and transparent about what happens in there and make sure that nobody else got to go in and change what actually happens. I’m very excited for the next few rounds tho!

Okay so first round is going pretty good so far . I cant believe they put me on a tribe with vi which is amazing bc ride or die right there. I know ali vi collins and jay are def ppl I wanna work with in this game . I mean my whole tribe is great . Dan I know is a wild card and he seems like he wants to work together but I'm not sure if I can fully trust him since he did vote me out last seasons with telling me a damn thing . Cindi was almost in my duplicity season I'm on production for so I know her a bit as well. I know she would probs go with Rachael at a swap or merge which is dangerous .THANK GOD we won the first immunity and I dont have two sorry about a vote bc if I'm honest it would be HARD to decide on a name . Honestly it seems pretty slow starting. Just working on getting to know the tribe at this point. I really like Collin and Ali but beyond that I'm not getting like amazing vibes from the others. I'm not getting bad vibes either though, just neutral positive vibes if that makes sense

okay, so i have been focusing on getting to know my tribe-mates the past few days because in this game, connections are your lifeline. but, i also didn't want to come off too strong and be perceived as "too social" from the get-go *cough* keegan the snake *cough*. so, i laid back, talked to people (some more than others), and tried to focus on winning immunity. unfortunately, when immunity slipped through our fingers, i quickly got to work socializing and making sure i wasn't the one to be blamed for our loss in our challenge. i felt that i contributed a lot and tried to start discussions and debate about our quotes, and felt as though i didn't get much back from my team. so, i made sure that people knew my group wasn't very communicative and had they communicated more, we could have totally won. i didn't push for a name to begin the round, but i did make sure to let people know who i hadn't talked to in hopes of getting one of their names on the chopping block this round. i made sure to reach out to everyone (even those who didn't reach out to me or seem invested in the game, nor our conversations) because i don't want someone to spread my name as a result. then, it seemed to narrow down to john and timmy. also, it was obviously leaning towards john leaving this round. however, it was not until about a few hours before day change that john had FINALLY heard that his name was going around due to the fact that it was TRULY IMPOSSIBLE TO TALK TO HIM. funnily enough, this information came directly from chips--someone who i haven't talked to much. thankfully for me, john decided to tell almost everyone exactly what chips had said and no one was pleased to hear that. so, i worked my magic and made sure people were upset that chips tried to throw us all under the bus--because i need to make sure there is a target for next round that isn't me... DUH! later, i asked john what he wanted to do, and he sat there completely clueless. i was completely dumbfounded at his reluctance to say a name when his ass was CLEARLY on the line. eventually, i worked a name out of him, and he said bodhi (who was the only one who wanted to keep him earlier today)... so i obviously went right to bodhi and made sure he knew so i could build some trust with him going forward in this game since talking to john literally made me lose brain cells by the minute, i wanted to make sure he was the one leaving tonight. so, i am hoping everything goes according to plan at tribal tonight, but as long as i don't leave, i am golden with whatever. until next time... xoxo, gossip girl

Episode 3 - so sado is HELL ISLAND - Adam

After Sam was sent home a high intensity challenge for reward and immunity was posted. It involved creating Shinsen, by prepping ingredients in individual messages. Hiroku was immediately off to a strong start, gaining a lead over Awashima. This lead continued to grow over night and by morning it was clear there was very little chance of Awashima catching up. Despite Rachael’s best attempts to coordinate and motivate Awashima, it was too late. Hiroku won immunity and reward with triple the score over Awashima. Jay and Josh were initially targeted due to their challenge performance. The majority seemed to be settling on Jay, however there was some pushback from Vi and Marc, who wanted to use Jay as a number. However as the day progressed it became clear that there was no saving Jay, and he was voted out unanimously.

Olivia went on an expedition to the lagoon on Honshu, completed the challenge requiring her to burn paper

“Here we are ladies! I feel pretty good with my position in this game. I really like Rodrigo, yes like my favorite. Jay is cool too cuz he’s a nerd. OH RACHEL my future nurse, looooove her. We talked a lot about nursing school and the career in general. Vi isn’t bad, we just don’t talk much. The first vote off was uhhh Lauren. She was AFK. The vote wasn’t unanimous tho and Adam got some so that was messsssy. I like Adam. He bounced back. Regans annoying but she’s my friend. Cori on the other tribe I did my challenge against and we had a phenomenal rapport omg I wanna work with her. OH AND EXPEDITIONS. Shikoku wasn’t iconic. Main land Japan got me 14 tickets so my ass is gonna feel it’s oats and go on a million expeditions soon lol. BUT we won the challenge and here to slay!!!”

“I mean it’s just like me and this sweet guy from halfway around the world are playing virtual hot potato with nonsense words like fowl and tray and we’re on this adventure and we’re in a cave and our tribe mates are all asleep next to us and we’re all that stands between us and the evil other tribe from coming into our territory and snatching another one of us up and we’re just two little anxious nerds who get along swell saying random incantations back and forth and it’s raining and I’m so fucking tired does this make sense I’m doing my best to keep our tribe afloat”

“I ain’t even mad. Olivia killed it. Honestly her biggest supporter is a person on the opposing team... 242 with no mistakes what a queen. Rachael is also a queen. Highest scorer for our tribe with 114, 3 mistakes. Fucking jay with his two tries but both mistakes. I literally was sick all day and still did better than half the tribe wth. Adam got a 12 hour penalty so he’s excused and he didn’t mess up.  But josh got 13 with 11 mistakes. Screeching. How do you mess up that badly. It’s just copy paste. I’m so tired I’m not even making any more sense. Good night y’all ima go try to save jay’s ass but idk if I want to”

“we love working for 6 hours without our phone all day and still being responsible for 34% of the work in this challenge on a 9 person tribe. we also love when someone does only 2 points worth...and screws up both of them. maybe this could be best for our tribe long term to purge the people that are not contributing? “things have been rly quiet since last time, but it seems like a handful of my tribe really worked together and pulled out the win in the shinsen challenge yay!! Some have not had the opportunity to contribute as much but hopefully they will the first chance they get. I still have my voting coin if I need it, but things are definitely super chill in the hiroku tribe for the time being and I seem to have good ties all over.”

“I’m thankful that this round allowed us to win by such a long shot. I believe that we have such a strong tribe, unfortunately however, we just do not necessarily communicate all that much, or at least that’s what it seems like.

Echoing previous confessionals, I still really adore almost everyone on this tribe. I do not have any issues or concerns with anyone at this moment in time, however my eyes and ears are open  just in case, however, I believe I can hopefully stay connected with several individuals in this tribe.

I’m not the best when it comes to challenge performance and I’m the first one that would always say that to myself. That’s why I play such a big social game, because I feel like that although I don’t have any challenge prowess, people will catch on to what my next best thing is. 

It would not surprise me If there was an undercover alliance at the moment just based on certain conversations I’ve had but perhaps that is just a thought and not merely reality. I hope that this upcoming round allows us to win yet another competition and continue to do our best like we always do.”

“HERE WE GO LADIES. Well that challenge sucked. Like, wasn’t fun at all. I personally SLAYED it, with Rachael and Regan. Vi did okay too but like we legit never talk. The people who did the least were Jay and Katie. I’ve had a good connection with Jay since the beginning but he has been MIA. I think he kinda gave up cuz he’s not even fighting at all. Someone said he’s in another game and SIS, me too. But still made time and did what I could. That leaves Katie who I want to go, but it’s not getting traction so I gotta go with the Jay vote unfortunately. RIP BBY GURL. Otherwise I’m still loving Rodrigo and Josh. My ideal 5 some is Me, Regan, Rachael, Josh, Rodrigo. But idk if I can get that to happen.”

“This round went pretty good, i think that kind of tribe wins solidifies a type of loyalty because everyone fight for each other so we can all have a nice week-end with out having to vote anyone out of the game. I think every one loves this tribe the way it is and i kind of wanna push that even more, remain loyal to a tribe is still an option that i have never made before but it is still an option and i wouldn't wanna take away any of my options until it's time to decide. I think right now i am in a good spot, i think if we go to tribal Odd or Zach would be the target which means i am in a good spot. Voting out Sam was a big deal for me because Odd is more beneficial for my game i believe. He is good at challenges and also he doesn't talk to a lot of people so it's something that i can use to my advantage in the future. This is my favorite tribe ever and i wanna keep enjoy this tribe so i would pray to win another immunity challenge”

Natasha picked up on your fifth call; you and Steve standing in the street not far from where you saw her, thankfully, chatting with a man from the summit.

“Yeah?”

“Don’t you yeah me, I thought you were dead.”

“Sorry.”

“Are you alright?”

“Yes love, I’m fine. I got lucky.” You watched her look around, glancing for where you and Steve stood incognito. “I know how much Barnes means to you.” She wasn’t talking to you now, she was talking to the eavesdropping Steve who could hear her clearly with his stupid serum enhancements. “I really do, but stay home or you’ll make this worse for all of us, please.”

“Are you saying you’ll arrest me?”

“No but someone will if you interfere. That’s how it works now.”

“If he’s this far gone Nat, I should be the one to bring him in.” He tried. She sighed.

“Why?”

“Because I’m the least likely to die trying.” Your heart skipped a beat at that thought. He stopped the call, tossing your phone in the trash - rude but okay - as he connected hands with you. You went to reenter the cafe where Sam was waiting for the both of you but instead were pulled into a tight hug, and you completely melted into him.

“What are you doing?”

“It’s all been moving so quickly, we haven’t had a moment just by ourselves.” He pulled back, brushing a piece of hair from your face as he gave you that broken grin of his. “How are you feeling right now?”

“Scared as shit, but I’m okay.” You kissed him quickly, not wanting to draw attention to yourselves. “You alright?”

“Yeah, just needed a moment with you to breath.” Your heart shuttered in your chest. You had to tell him, right now. If you didn’t, it would all just blow up in your face so you had to tell him right now. You opened your mouth, ready to watch your relationship fall to pieces but Sam caught his eye over your shoulder as he inclined his head to a waiting Sharon Carter. Fuck.

Sharon didn’t explain exactly how she got the information, just slid a folder in front of you with a single statement: “you’re gonna have to hurry, we have orders to shoot on sight.”

You had been searching for the Winter Soldier for a year, there was no way you were going to let Steve go by himself and potentially lose his best friend because you weren’t there to help. At least that’s what you told yourself. Truth was, you knew your deception could only last so long because he was about to be a fugitive of the state and you wholeheartedly agreed with the accords. You had let it go on too long as it was, especially because he thought you were in this together as always. You just had to be positive the accords were what you wanted, more than you wanted Steve because unfortunately, this time you couldn’t have both.

Sam took the high ground, perched on top of the building for a ‘bird’s eye view’ as he liked to put it while you stood on rooftop near the back of the building. You looked for all the world like a graffiti artist, no weapons in sight because you, well, were the weapon. It really helped the whole incognito thing. So far so good, nothing but a slight crackle from Steve’s mic to let you know he was in the same room as Bucky now and your heart sang for him. He had lost his other person, the only one who remembered the Steve before the serum and before the ice, and aliens, and robots. Now he was finding a version of his old friend who was still the same age as him.

“Heads up, Cap. German Special Forces, approaching from the south.” You turned your attention that way, watching as they fanned out to begin their search. Shit. “They've set the perimeter.” Steve was still radio silent. “They're entering the building!”

“Geez Steve,” You mumbled to yourself, “at least acknowledge us somehow.”

“They're on the roof. I'm compromised.” Steve’s comm crackled to life as you tried your best to continue to be nonchalant, even as the fighting started in your ears from Sam’s side. “Five,” Sam breathed, “Three, breach, breach, breach!”

Then it was on, grenades crashing through windows and the sounds of explosions but you didn’t dare interfere. If you were to go in there now, you’d be a liability. Steve would focus on you rather then the current objective and that wouldn’t help anyone.

“Baby, he’s headed your way!” You jumped, hearing Steve speak to you directly. Next thing you knew a black bag was landing to your left and a full, grown ass man was hurtling out the window and rolling onto the ledge.

“What the actual fuck, you’re just as reckless as Steve!” You admonished. Bucky met your eyes, recognizing you for a moment as he skid to a stop.

“You’re his girl.” He stated. Before you could respond, a man in a literal, honest to goodness cat suit went flying over the ledge and headed straight for Bucky who took off at lightning speed.

“Steve, we got an unidentified man in a freaking cat suit with little ears and everything, I’m not kidding!” You followed in pursuit, thankful that element control meant you could control the wind enough to make you levitate over the ground and ‘fly’ because these guys were quick and you’d been skipping leg day.

“Sam, southwest rooftop!”

“On my way, who’s the other guy?”

“Bout to find out!” You clocked Steve landing behind you, easily covering the distance as the cat-man and Bucky begin to fight. The shadow of a helicopter flew overheard, raining down bullets and you form a wall of rock to keep them from hitting. One slips through, bouncing off cat dude like it was nothing but giving Bucky enough time to escape claws of doom.

“Sam!” You call out, dropping your shield and joining Steve in pursuit of them once more. “Helicopter. Please.”

“Got it!” He sets the chopper off course, giving you enough time to get out of the way before they started firing again. What in the actual fuck was going on right now.

“Steve are they headed for the -.”

“Freeway? Yeah.” You groaned, landing from your hover as you both began to jump over cars and bringing a whole new meaning to parkour.

“Cover me.” He got your gist, grabbing your arm and propelling you a few cars up as he deterred the others from hitting you. You ripped the door open, smiling softly at the shocked male cop chasing down the rogue Bucky. “Sorry about this.”

You tossed him out, Steve grasping his arm and depositing him safely - minus a few bumps and bruises - before hopping into the passenger seat as Steve took the drivers.

“Okay, I have to tell you something right now because I am 100% afraid we are going to get murdered by psycho Hello Kitty and rogue cops.” You yelled, grasping onto the handle above the door as Steve took curves at mock 40. You glanced over at him, receiving a nod of approval and you shut your eyes tightly, begging yourself not to cry because you were literally in the middle of a fight.

“I’m going to sign the accords.” He slammed on the brakes, narrowly dodging a police car as he slid through a small gap all while looking at you in utter shock. “It’s the right thing to do Steve and you would agree if it weren’t for Bucky.”

“Are you kidding me?” Steve yelled, and you shied away. Steve never yelled at you. “What, a man’s life doesn’t matter to you? The fact that this is just an easy way for governments to have access to an elite team of enhanced humans and aliens alike to do their bidding doesn’t bother you? Bad guys won’t just go away because we do.”

“But we hurt people Steve, civilian people who don’t deserve it!”

“And how many do we save in the process? We’re not perfect. I’m not saying we’re remotely close but for fuck’s sake,” He exclaimed, eyes tearing up as he looked at you. “I’m doing this for more than Bucky, but you? You’re doing it to assuage your guilt in some misguided notion that you can atone for something you didn’t mean to do, and put any future mistakes onto someone else while ignoring taking responsibility for what you’ve already done.”

Your mouth dropped open, eyes wide as he dared to say you were trying to blame other people for what your abilities did. Were you guilty? Yeah, you’d fucked up long before you met Steve and continued to do so now but were you trying to blame someone else for it? No, because you could never do that - not when you knew how bad it hurt to carry it on your shoulders.

He didn’t flinch though, eyes unwavering on the road in front of him because even if he did feel bad for that last remark, he couldn’t take back anything else he said. He believed every word he uttered to you. A thud hit the back of your car, cat-man at it again as he clung on for dear life.

“Sam,” Steve cleared his throat to rid the anger, “I can’t shake this guy.”

“Right behind you.”

Sam swooped in, grabbing the man up but you watched in horror as he climbed Sam like a tree. Rubble started to fall around you and Steve grabbed your hand with one of his. You met his gaze slowly, fear in your eyes as you wondered how much hatred you’d see there.

“When I say jump, you jump.”

He might be on the opposing side of this now but you still trusted him more than anyone, as hurt by his words as you were. He wouldn’t let anything kill you though, so you steeled yourself for whatever he was about to do. Rubble had fallen in front of the exit, beginning to block it but Steve wasn’t slowly down and your palms started to sweat. He was going to hit it head on. The tip of the hood smacked into the rock, right as he yelled for you to jump. You both went out the driver’s side door, him lifting you over the rock as you used a gust of wind to propel you both out.

He kept running but you turned on your heel, hands out in front of you to catch falling rocks that could easily kill people if they were hit. The sirens blaring behind you told you the running was over for now, that you were about the have to surrender so you lowered the granite and turned to face the music. The cat-man’s mask was off and you recognized him as the man Nat was talking with earlier as Steve stood to Bucky's side and Rhodey pointed hand rays at both sides.

“Walk over here slowly, no funny movements.” Rhodey commanded you and you rolled your eyes as a chest ray trained on your shirt. “I mean it.”

“Don’t worry about her,” Steve sighed, giving you the most heartbroken look you had ever seen in your life, “She’s on your side.”
