Ohiwe (lady) and Ohime (man) aka the fire deity after they get punished.
Originally just "Oh", the fire deity had a bit too much fun with punishing humans and so in a means to stop them, the elder gods split them into two. So now they have to be together in order to have their "full" power but as before the split, they get restless and like to wander. So while one stays in their city, the other gets to go out and travel and see the world and check on the other deities.
Also, as a whole/singular being Oh would use they/them. After the split however, it's definitely not the same and so Ohiwe likes using female pronouns and Ohime uses male pronouns. That way when discussed as one, it's back to they. That feels best for them.

Drifting - Part 2
“Okay, make a fist.” Asked the serious geckin, blue in scale but the owner of long spines that started on his nose and continued up and over his head, down his back and finished at his tail. Zeet was his name.
Casper the friendly human, made a fist and felt the action drain him, as if he’d been at the gym for the last hour doing the same action. However, as his fingers met his palm and the tendons on the back of his hand tensed and corded against his skin, the giant metal fist not a few metres away, suspended in a secure field; made an identical fist.
“What’s the drift?” The blue geckin asked the second geckin who monitored the process not a few feet away, but a fair distance for the diminutive creatures. Her name, as far as Casper knew, was Wren.
“0.001%.” She retorted with an equally serious tone, she turned back and adjusted the two round panes of glass that sat across her snout. If not for the fact that Casper was sweating with the exertion of making a fist, he would have found her cute.
“Impossible. Check it again.” The first geckin demanded, turning to face her as if she had just made a poorly timed joke.
“Sir, I checked it three times, then used the older program to see if it got a different result.” Wren explained, quite confident despite Zeet’s incredulous tone.
“And?”
“It reports 0.002%.”
Both geckins turned back to the human, almost expectantly and gazed at him. No; studying him.
“W-what?” He asked, strain in his voice.
“You can relax Casper. You did very well.” Praised Zeet as Casper gasped, unclenching his fist, and slumping in the chair. He’d been fresh as a daisy when he’d sat down; why had a few wires been so draining?!
“That… took effort…” The young man explained, slipping his arm from the sleeve, and ensuring it was placed carefully onto the caddy.
“You were controlling more than just muscle and sinew young man.” Zeet explained, touching a finger to the control rod of his own personal walker and approached the human. At a foot tall, just like the rest of the geckins, he utilised mechanical legs attached to a platform that he stood upon to move around larger distances.
“Why am I exhausted?”
“Because, unbeknownst to your conscious mind, you not only controlled your own limb, but also controlled that robotic limb.”
“I’ve seen that done before…” Casper licked his lips to try and bring moisture to them. “They used electrodes or something… they had to concentrate, but it didn’t tire them out.”
Wren appeared at Casper’s side and pressed a bottle of orange liquid into his hands. It was almost as tall as her.
“Drink this, you’ll feel better.” She promised, her green scales were a deep emerald, her it was the frill around her neck that was only partially pulled in that made Casper smile. She was agitated. Perhaps worried about him?
The man gave her a curt nod, which caused her frill to pull in tight before he grasped the bottle and drank from it deeply. It wasn’t quite ‘orange’, but it was certainly something citrus and refreshed him almost immediately. After the first gulp he took a breath and downed the rest of the bottle in one, almost immediately feeling better and like his old self.
“What you just did was unconsciously control every single servo, circuit, and piston within that machine. Your mind: without your knowledge, was able to manage and steady all of that. The electrode method, that you mentioned, is a low intensity method of controlling simpler systems.”
“And we can’t use that method with these?”
“These are not for domestic use. I make it quite clear to you; these are bleeding edge machines. Capable of not only reacting as your body, not as a mere extension, but also your mind being able to incorporate the advantages these machines have.”
“Like what?”
“We can have a play with telescopic vision if you like? I’ve heard that is the easiest to manage. If you get addicted to the world those eyes, we can try out electromagnetic wavelengths, infrared, perhaps-“
“Sir.” Wren cut in, a frown on her face and her small, pointed teeth being bared.
“Mm, yes. Carry on.” Zeet surrendered, holding up his hands as if giving up.
“Before we go on, how are you feeling?” Wren asked, looking up at Casper and adjusting her specs.
“Better.” The man replied, giving her a warm grin.
“Better? You weren’t well before?” She poked, not letting him off the hook yet.
“I was tired, like I’d been doing bicep curls all morning. But now it’s like I’m fresh again?” Casper admitted honestly, if she was a doctor checking on him, then he wasn’t about to lie. The speed of his recovery was as if he had been fooled into being tired, rather than actually being tired.
“Marvelous.” Zeet whispered.
“*Sir.*” Wren immediately hissed; the respect of his seniority gone. Casper frowned then cut in, there was something he wasn’t being told.
“What’s going on? Is this about the.. the ‘drift’ thing? What was the drift you were on about?” He asked, demanding an answer.
“I knew he was bright, am I allowed to answer that *direct* question doctor?” Zeet asked the green geckin with a near taunting tone.
Wren merely sniffed, flattening her neck ruffle against herself and shrugged with a single hand, offering Casper up to Zeet, seemingly satisfied.
“’Drift’ is the natural loss of signal strength between your mind and the mechanical parts. The more parts, bits, and pieces, the greater the chance of drift and the more sluggish the movements and actions of the piloted mechs will be, all the way until failure.” Zeet explained with a toothy grin. It was Wren who spoke next, softly explaining it to Casper without infantizing him.
“Geckin have a fantastic drift score. We can manage mechs of incredible size and complexity without much loss of control. Realistically, the next closest would be chintians, but they refuse to be pilots for our mechs.” She said, turning her hand in a gesture as she spoke, still calmly and softly.
“Why?” Casper asked.
“You know the plug in your arm?” Zeet began, pointing at the limb that was limp in Casper’s lap.
Casper looked down and turned his arm over. There was a single dark red dot of scabbed blood. Around it was a bright red circle with the metal casing of the plug had been pressed into his flesh.
“Yeah?”
“It can lead to fur-loss.” Concluded Zeet, rather offhandedly.
“Along with other things.” Cut in Wren, with the speed of someone adding ‘terms and conditions’ at the end of an advert.
“They consider that unacceptable. We consider it the cost of having faster reaction speeds to our machines. They rely on taking hits and surviving them. We believe in the philosophy of never getting hit.” The tiny lizard explained with a mouthful of sharp teeth, eager at the thought.
“Do geckins have any fur to lose? Do you lose scales?” Casper asked, if there were side effects for some species, were there any for geckins?
“No.” Zeet answered immediately.
“Well…” Wren began, but was immediately cut off.
“No, we do not lose scales with use.” Zeet said again, staring at the doctor.
“They can dull though.” She explained, closing her eyes then turning her head to look at Casper before opening them again. She held his gaze firmly.
“Not through usage doctor!” Zeet snapped, certainly exasperated.
“A pilot who is connected for long periods or who is in intense environments requiring constant movement will find side effects, such as scale fading.” Wren continued, putting across the idea that it was not without a cost.
“He doesn’t need to hear this, what is the chance he’s going to be in that environment? Zero!” Zeet shouted, throwing his hands up before gesturing to Casper, then then inert arm.
“Look, it’s fine. As you say; unlikely.” Casper agreed, trying to calm the tension in the room. “So what about me? What about human drift”
“Ah, good male. A fine mind between those big ears.” Zeet grinned again, turning to Casper and clasping his hands. “Your drift, at worst calculation was about 0.002%. That is nothing. That is about as good as a prostetic replacing your actual arm. Unheard of for managing an arm that complicated.”
“What’s a geckin’s drift percentage?”
“5.” Wren said pointedly. “On average. Ace pilots are around the single percent or less range, but that is through biological luck, augmentation and prolonged life-long training. Your natural ability appears to be quite potent.” The tiny green lizard admited.
“Yours, baring in mind your evolution wouldn’t have any sort of natual selection for this, is considered a one in a life time pilot. If humans are all this well adjusted, each and every one of them will be very much welcome in geckin territories…”
Casper turned to the arm and gazed at it. A mech pilot? That would be fantastic! He didn’t like the idea of ‘stressful environments’ though.
“You wouldn’t want me in like, a fight or anything, right?”  Casper asked, staring at Zeet carefully.
“May my tail fall off! No! Could you imagine what the GC would say if we endangered a human? Immediately after your new classification? Absolutely not. Completely out of the question.” He promised, waving his hand as if to dismiss a fly that was bothering him.
“Normally I would warn you about listening to our Zeet here, but he’s right. The geckin people are still under threat by ssypno aggression. Their seat at the table of three means all they have to do is convince one of the other two to agree that they be allowed to create a vassal of our people and we can expect no support from the GC to stop them. Endangering you would all but guarantee the support of one or both of the other two.”
A small hand touched his arm as she leant forward to rest her’s against him, the good doctor offering him a smile.
“The danger to you is over, you can rest easy knowing the rest of your life will be free of hardships.” She lied.

AHH OK CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE YAN JORGE AND CHURCH HCS?
Yes, I can and I shall. Enjoy! ;)
General Yan!Church and Yan!Jorge Headcanons
(TW: Yandere, Obsessive Behavior, Violence, mentions of blood.)
Tumblr media
> Church and Jorge are not the types to be hidden in their affections at all. Once they start feeling strong affection for you, it’s obvious to everyone in the vicinity, which is of course how they found out about each other’s “thing” for you. Jorge couldn’t ignore how Church insisted that you were the only one besides himself who could handle his gear or tune his weapons, and similarly, Jorge’s own increasingly affectionate treatment of you was hardly subtle. Even when they started to become a bit more intense in their actions, the heightened focus on showing you their love was mirrored between the two.
> To everyone’s surprise, this just became another thing for them to sort of bond with each other over, instead of causing the infighting they assumed. In the G03LM’s minds, it made total sense; of course the other would love you, not loving you was just plain stupid. Plus, they operate on the same wavelength most of the time anyway, so their bro liking the same person is fine with them. There’s no one else Church or Jorge would rather share you with, and as it happens, this is what really eggs them on to make you know just how much they both care for you.
> Neither are really the type to do typical romantic gestures like give you flowers they picked or write soliloquies to describe your beauty, but they do flirt with you a lot. You’d swear that “good lookin’” was practically another name for you now with how often Jorge purrs it to you in a greeting, and then there was the rare “sweetcheeks” from Church. They aren’t exactly the most flowery terms of endearment, but then again, neither of them seemed the type to do that to begin with, so you were still surprised.
> In fact, they call you those so often that they almost caught on with other grunts as well. But attempts to make those nicknames a regular thing were quickly stopped by none other than Church and Jorge themselves; it was their thing with you, and only theirs.
> (Jorge paused from cleaning his gun when he heard one of the other technicians call out to you with his name for you. He leaned down to them and grinned behind his mask when they shrank back a bit. “Hah, that’s real funny pal. But if you call them that again I’ll crush you.” Point taken.)
> Jorge also lavishes you with praise and compliments constantly, for the most simple of actions and when you least expect it. He’s particularly fond of this way of showing affection to you, and he considers it his mission to make you know how much he loves everything about you. Everything from the way your brows furrow when you’re confused to innocuous things like the precise way you prefer your coffee and the way you look so focused when working. Although sometimes his comments can be weirdly specific. For someone who you assumed didn’t know that much about you, the fact he can list off certain more intimate things he knows about you so offhandedly is a bit unnerving.
> (It’s just because he spends a lot of time looking at you, but you didn’t know the true depth of it. It was easy to keep it secret, with how hidden his gaze is behind his mask.)
> For the record, Church also compliments you, but they’re typically shorter and more blunt. He’ll just state that you’re really pretty as though it’s a universally known fact, which it is in his mind. He’ll also fight anyone who says otherwise, but he’s always itching for a chance to pummel someone on your behalf, so it’s something you’re kind of used to now. It’s weirdly flattering regardless, but you try not to encourage it too much.
> Jorge and Church also give you presents frequently as well; usually weapons and other trinkets as “battle trophies” from grunts they faced in combat, oftentimes still bloody. You’re grossed out a bit by just how much gore they track into the building whenever they find something new to gift you, but seeing them perk up proudly whenever you thank them for it makes up for it. They seem so happy whenever you show an ounce of gratitude for their presents, punching the air and fist-bumping each other when you simply smile at them while holding whatever they gave you. You might even say it’s cute, although using such an adjective for the violent mercs seems a tad inappropriate.
> (Half of the time you’re not even sure what to do with the things they bring you, but now you have an entire wall full of weapons and armor pieces from them. It’d be useful if you ever need to get into a fight, but you’re just a technician.)
> (Of course, you don’t know how many of those special things are from people who were once threats and were foolish enough to pose a threat to your relationship with them. They really should’ve known better, it’s not like Church or Jorge had tried to hide what you were to them. Hopefully the rest of your coworkers would take a hint from the red they tracked in, and the missing presence of some of the people you shared a shift with.)
> They drop any and every conversation they have just to make you a part of it once you enter the room, including important mission briefings from Sheriff. (Oh well. He just has to get that you’re more important.) You’ll also find yourself physically close to them more often than not; it’s common for you to have to try to ignore how they crowd in on your space whenever they catch sight of you. It’s not like you work with them often - you’re not exactly a mercenary or field worker - so when they decide to spend virtually all of their downtime around you, it’s very noticeable.
> They’re also quite touchy with you; you’re going to be picked up by one of them and bear-hugged at least once every day, and luckily they are very gentle with you, so you never have to worry about being harmed by their armor or squeezed too tight. They’d rather die than hurt you, so their grip on you is always soft, and when they nudge against you with their masked face (their version of a kind of kiss, unbeknownst to you), it isn’t hard enough to cause any damage. If they had it their way, you’d always be in their arms, and they even try to take turns with it just to be fair.
> (As an additional bonus, if you’re snuggled up in Church or Jorge’s embrace, no one bothers them and tries to get you away. It's the perfect way to keep you all to themselves, and their loud purring shows just how pleased they are about this.)
> Church is definitely the quieter of the two, but also the one more likely to rough someone up if they affront you in some way. The other members of MERC know better than to get too close to you now, since attempts to be all buddy-buddy with you (or god forbid, flirt with you) were shut down by the mohawked G03LM’s fists. Literally.
> (With how often Church was around you, he got pretty good at reading you. So when he heard you laugh uncomfortably and snapped his attention to you to find one of the other grunts leaning way too close to you for even your taste, he was quick to get rid of the problem. It’s the least he could do, for someone he adores so much.)
> You’ve had a talk with Church about, well, massacring your coworkers whenever you happened to take an off day (at least he’s polite enough not to do it in front of you), so he’s not likely to hurt them too badly now. But it just so happens that Church also knows that you can cause a lot of damage that doesn’t lead to death all the time, which some might even consider worse.
> (Sheriff is now more concerned than ever about healthcare costs for MERC. Perhaps he can cut another deal with the Nexus Core?)
> Jorge is more the type to just threaten the other mercenaries, but he isn’t above getting physical along with Church to break a few (many) bones if he thinks the situation calls for it. Which happens more often than not, if you’re not in their vicinity.
> (They’d honestly be offended if you thought they’d forget the way that prick Sheriff just hired was giving you googly eyes. The little twerp just has to learn his place, and as your partners, there’s no one better to teach them.)
> Despite how they will deliberately target the others in your faction when they know you won’t be around, they still want to show off around you. There’s always an open invitation for you to observe their training, and Jorge is always quick to remind you of this. When you do watch them fight, they naturally put a lot more effort into fighting. They already love the thrill of it, but feeling your eyes on them just invigorates them like nothing else.
> If it weren’t for the fact that the two are so dangerous, the fact that you have them completely wrapped around your finger without knowing it would be funny to everyone else. Anything you even mention once will be noted by them, and while they might not be the most efficient at fetching it/completing some task you need finished, they’ll find some way to fulfill your wishes. Even if it means threatening asking someone else to do it for them, or going to the very ends of Nexus City and fighting through hoards of random bandits and zeds to bring back a single tool you’d simply like to have someday, they’ll do it happily. And of course, they’ll be chatting with each other the entire time about how cute you are, and how they can’t wait to see the look on your face when you realize what they’ve done for you.
> Both of them routinely refer to you as their partner, and they mean it in every sense of the word. Ever since they fell for you so hard, there’s no one else Church and Jorge would be willing to go to for tune-ups and other jobs that needed more technical expertise present. But they also mean it in the romantic sense as well. In their eyes, they’d already made it explicitly clear to everyone else that you were together. They just need to go a step further to get you to acknowledge it as well. Plus, you’d never outright rejected their advances before, so they just know you return their affections. Maybe you’re just shy about it compared to them.
> It doesn't matter to them how long it takes you to understand and eventually officially requite what they feel because Church and Jorge are willing to work at this for however long is needed. They're not going to quit when they know they're so close to having you completely and being able to show you all of their love to its truest extent. Besides, they're G03LMs; Church and Jorge can be brought back from whatever form of the afterlife Nevada has for as long as needed. If they can fight off death itself, then no one stands a chance at taking you from them, so your being with them is completely inevitable. That's all there is to it.

uh hello- I'm nervous as I'm not used to this since I usually just read your stuff without suggesting things! Congrats on 100 followers, you deserve more tbh. I saw your matchup post! For the fandom it's ninjago, my gender preferance is uh... idk? I use she/them pronouns tho. Idm if it's platonic or romantic but I'm lonely irl so I would prefer romantic! I like kids cartoons and I'm pretty energetic and bubbly but uh- very shy and I get nervous very easily (if this wasn't an indicator) okay tysm! congrats on the followers (again lol)
Thank you for your kind words!! Now onto the matchmaking… I match you (romantically) with:
Jay Walker!!
Tumblr media
Some headcanons!
You guys totally geek out together all the time
He loves being able to talk about his interests with you
And he loves hearing about your interests
He also appreciates that you can match his energy level with your bubbly personality
Most people have trouble keeping up with you guys
You’re just on your own wavelength
On that note, you guys have SO MANY inside jokes and little references
Sometimes it’s like you’re speaking a different language
You both enjoy the confused looks you get almost as much as you enjoy making the references
You just get each other so perfectly,, you definitely call each other “my other half”
You can frequently be found just talking to each other, all alone, in your own little world
He totally relates to your anxiety; though his is less social, so he has no problem fronting for you in public
Actually, he enjoys it
He gets to be your knight in shining armor :)
He’s very protective of you because of your shyness
It makes him anxious to see you alone in a crowd, so he always tries to keep physical contact in public
Hand holding or pinky locking are his go-tos, but he’s not against putting an arm around your shoulder or waist
This is also how he shows that you’re together
It’s less of a gesture he does out of jealousy, more of something he does to say “hey, I’m with her”
He doesn’t really get jealous over you
He knows that you’re his and he’s yours, that’s all he needs
A little Drabble!
You perked up when Jay walked in, sending a beaming smile his way.
“Hi!! And what are you up to, beautiful?”
You felt your cheeks go a little pink. “Uh, nothing.”
“Are you watching something?”
“Yeah… it’s a kids show,” you said quickly, trying to dismiss him as you half-closed your computer on your lap.
“Cartoons?”
“Yes. But how was your d—”
Before you could finish your statement, Jay dived onto the bed and propped himself up on his elbows next to you. He looked up at you with sparkling eyes; it was a look that he always got when he was excited about something. “Can I watch too?”
You blinked at him, your own eyes wide as an owl’s. “Do you really want to?”
“Obviously!! I freaking love cartoons. And what better way to watch than with my other half?”
A rosy-cheeked smile found your face. “Okay then.”
Jay scooted closer, draping an arm around you and bringing your head against his chest. You nuzzled into him, pressing play on your laptop and watching the cartoon with a newfound giddiness.
And a song!
Meteor Shower (Cavetown)
meteor shower! quick, take cover
But the hues in our hair compliment one another
I'd sell my own bones for sapphire stones
'Cause blue's your favorite color
My heart and the earth share the same rule
It starts with love and it ends with you
But don't go outside, it's dangerous tonight
Without me right here by your side
Tumblr media
I hope you like this!! This is my first ever matchup hehe ^^ but thank you for your support, I can’t tell you how much you mean to me!

Smooches all over 🩸 anons face for bringing out tyunning crave lore I absolutely ate that up! Lia you and I have some wavelength going on I had the same idea that Tyun would take a while to warm up to the idea of keeping a human around, i may have mentioned it before i think
I actually have a small headcanon (is it weird to have headcanons about someone else's work i dunno) where reader and Taehyun are out in the woods so she can have a walk, one of the first few times they start to do so, and they're a little too close to town and she spots someone she knows. Taehyun's like oh shit, because on one hand he could leave her here and she could go back where she belongs but if he did Yeonjun would kill him so he had a mini internal struggle
But I have digressed as I often tend to do! I wanted to ask who in the pack can be put in their place by just one look from Yeonjun? I think we all know who isn't a contender, Beomgyu needs like a whole hand clapped on the back of his neck before he behaves 😂
Also i hope you're feeling better soon 💕
-🏹
i'm feeling lots better now, thank you 🏹 nonnie!! <33 flare up's almost completely gone now, thank god, was worried i was gonna have to go on antibiotics AGAIN....
we are absolutely on the same wavelength on crave omg... your ideas always hit so hard and make me want to write so much about my wolfy boys... currently open for full fic ideas for crave that isn't just smut <333 lia can finally flex her plotting talents
and it's not weird at all that you have crave hcs lol!! i honestly love it, a major point of my works is to get ppl thinking :> a lot of tyun's character revolves around an internal struggle lol, he's fighting himself (and others) all of the time
and for who in the pack can be put in their place with just a look, this is gonna sound crazy but tyun and soobin! for tyun, he'll absolutely put in his two-cents but he's yeonjun's second hand man in a sense, he's sworn complete loyalty to him.. so its very rare that tyun would escalate something into an actual fight when it comes to jjun.
with binnie tho he's just very docile :3 doesn't like rocking the boat or causing any drama, so usually he'll drop back with his head down the minute he's given a stern look lol :3

okay i’ll ask you, when did you first get into It? was it the novel or another adaption? what do you think it is about the story that you love so much?
omgg!!! thanks for the ask joeover!!!!!!!! this is very cool i feel like im being interrogated in a good way
this is actually a really interesting story. so it was october and me and my roommate and my friend were doing a study session, but we also wanted to watch something for the season. watch some spooky movies, as you do. and my roomie was like, "oh have you seen IT (2017)?" and i was like, 'no". and so she was like, "it's pretty good. the second one is weird though"... and put it on.
now, dear asker, i'm not one to be into horror movies at all. im also not one to like a media like IT that much - most of the stuff I'm really in love with is mostly meant to be a comedy. i wasn't even paying that much attention to it at first while it played (i even made a really mean joke about not knowing who stan was cause he had such little lines). but when im exposed to a new media, i can't NOT put my attention on it if it catches my eye and consume it and have thoughts about it. so i started paying attention and i really liked the movie.
more than that though, i could already feel the potential of a fixation coming on. it was at the tail end of my asssassins creed fixation, so it was almost perfectly timed. when i get these sensations, i can never predict like what it's going to be, and i can almost NEVER go into something knowing im going to fixate on it. it just happens at random. and i guess i can choose to indulge or not, and my brain was like - "you heard about richie tozier being gay. watch the second one". and i did. and that's when i launched into the full fixation.
after that, i bought the novel (and read the whole thing jesus christ) and got involved with the community. i joined a reddie server and met Angel and Sunny who are honestly some of my best friends and the most talented people ever... I mean, you guys probably know Angel's comic Out of the Blue - and Sunny writes for their ORIGINAL comic. and i also met River, Reb, Bear, and Moony - we formed our fake little "losers club". everything i talked about, they matched my energy. we were always on the same wavelength and they were always incredibly kind people, and we STILL talk everyday as part of our routines. i know so much about them now. i 've even seen their mug collections and know all their pets by name haha. I EVEN GOT TO GET A BEAR HUG FROM IRL BEAR!!! seriously got besties for life from this stupid movie.
to answer that last part of the question - i think what intrigues me about IT is simply the Losers dynamic. Usually a story is about dynamics where one relationship is more important than the others. Typically it's the romance. but in IT, you get 7 people deeply in love with each other with all different but ALL VERY INTEGRAL dynamics. bill and eddie, bev and richie, stan and bev, mike and bill, ben and eddie - like every dynamic is SO juicy and also EQUALLY as valued. that type of found family where nobody in the canon plays favorites is incredibly rare. I think that's why my love for reddie started to fade, honestly, because i felt like a lot of people valued their romance higher than all the other dynamics. and that's my FAVORITE part of the series and what generally fuels my art. : )
hope this was interesting to you! : D thanks for the ask and letting me talk about myself for a little bit. was very nice of you. <3

Of deities and immortals
Vajra as Great Old One of Chaos
I've been thinking about how godhood and immortality works in the SE universe (and how can I use the lack of stablished rules to my evil motives).
Today I want to talk to you about the Great Old Ones an my headcanons about them.
So, based in the manga and the anime, the Eight Shinigami Legions are the same thing as the Great Old Ones. They were chosen as Lord Death companions for a reason, they were incredibly powerful and, somehow, almost everyone ended up being a being closer to a eldritch deity than a human.
Except the ones who Asura ate of course.
So
G. O. O. of Order: Shinigami
Fear: Asura
Power: the octopus
Wrath/Rage: Excalibur
Knowledge: Eibon
Also, there isn't a lot of clarity about Vajra being only Asura's partner or if he was an oficial member of the eight, but I consider him as one since I think that he should have been an already powerful and skilled weapon to be Asura's weapon, plus he probably was from the very first weapons ever so I think he might have ended as a Great Old One too if it wasn't for Asura eating him.
And to me Vajra could have embodied the Chaos. Let me explain.
Since we don't have a lot about Vajra, we're gonna stick with my interpretation of him, which is based in my own HC and all the info I have absorbed from friends and Tumblr users who have their own versions of Vajra.
The Great Old Ones are inherently tied to madness, showing us that madness itself isn't inherently wrong, but the specific kind of madness and the way people choose to use it is what makes it dangerous.
In the case of the madness of fear (Asura), it enhanced the primal responses "fight or fly" (sorry if I'm using that wrong but i hope you'll get the point), making people a risk to themselves and to others.
People have a natural inclination to certain types of madness, but if there's a specific wavelength acting over them, that natural inclination can change or be mixed, like Stein
Even if we don't get a canon answer of what kind of madness he primarily had (putting aside that "madness" can be an allegory for mental illness and/or neurodivergency), I think that his madness at the start of the story was more atune to Madness of knowledge (Eibon), but the influence of Asura and Medusa's snakes made him switch to a combination of that and the madness of fear. We can see how his "disect this, vivisec that" behavior was strongly inclined to a "let's do it for science" attitude, but after Asura's resurrection it was more tinted with the violent impulses of harming someone, which Stein himself reconogized as something unusual and way out of his control.
So, coming back to Vajra.
The behavior that Asura shows himself is of pure fear. He's terrorized of being near another being and never initiated combat. It was always defending himself or his crazy (unwanted) followers trying to provoke Shibusen. Yeah, he's like "I'm gonna destroy your order, Shinigami-sama" and all that but he doesn't really try to attack anyone directly, the boy is a fucking coward (affectionate).
And ok, I've said that madness can cause different reactions, but I don't think that every one of his followers shared the same unicellular brain, with the same response to fear so... How resulted in everyone being so chaotic and violent under Asura's influence?
Well... Because Asura's wavelength isn't entirely his.
Asura has 2 souls inside him. His own soul and the remaining of Vajra's.
When Asura ate him, he was probably still alive.
I have the headcanon that some weapons can live longer if they're in their weapon form, and if they get injured in human form they can turn into weapons until they can get medical care or the injury heals (but this require a lot of practice and a somewhat strong soul).
Vajra probably survived for a long time inside Asura that way, and when Lord Death sealed them in Asura's skin he was slowly losing his humanity and the ability to turn back to his human form and even the ability to communicate to Asura through their soul resonance, but their souls were still connected in some way, so, the Madness that emanated from Asura was both, Fear and Chaos.

NAME: Natalie Hyster TOP LEFT AGE: 11 // August 24, 2012 PRN: she/her/hers/herself iNFO: Natalie is the youngest of the family. She spends a lot of her time online, specifically tumblr and twitch. She’s part of “MOGAI/LIOM tumblr” and the alterhuman communities. She runs a dollkin blog and has a dollkin TikTok. Hunter finds her incredibly cringe for being so “chronically online” and thinks she needs to find “real” hobbies. Not long after the move, Natalie’s family starts acting strangely, and she feels it’s her job to investigate the cause.
NAME: Hunter Hyster TOP RiGHT AGE: 15 // March 8, 2008 PRN: he/him/his/himself iNFO: Hunter is the eldest child. He enjoys music (mostly post hardcore and metalcore) and he was very excited by the news of the MCR reunion. Hunter is into the whole mean girls troupe (specifically Girl, Interrupted + Jennifer’s Body, Killing Eve and Euphoria). He’s also a fan of the Alien franchise, and likes slasher films. Not long after the move, Hunter is hospitalized by his parents for receiving “visions”. Doctors determine that Hunter doesn’t have schizophrenia or a psychotic disorder, and that he’s doing this for attention. He’s diagnosed with a conduct disorder and his parents are told he just needs more attention at home.
NAME: Reylin Hyster BOTTOM LEFT AGE: 34 // October 6, 1989 PRN: she/her/hers/herself iNFO: On top of being a mother and wife, Reylin is also an author and is working on her next novel during the process of the move and settling into the new house. After the move, Reylin becomes obsessed with writing her new book, spending most of her time in her office, writing with fevor. At some point, after Reylin has held herself away in her wiring room, Natalie gets a peak of some of the work that her mother has been working on. To her surprise, it seems to be mostly nonsense, until she notices it seems to be a handful of phrases repeated again and again: “not the same wavelength” “left a dying home” “you’re the one who killed us”, along with same random scenes that Natalie will later find out describe Hunter’s visions.
NAME: Theo Hyster BOTTOM RIGHT AGE: 38 // April 17, 1985 PRN: he/him/his/himself iNFO: Theo is the husband and father of the Hyster family. He works in IT. He’s eager to get the house looking nice and curating a new space with his family as they start this new chapter in their lives. He’s so eager, in fact, he spends all his free time working on the house. While it’s not entirely unusual for Theo to get hyperfixated on something he’s doing, it is a little strange his obsessive nature with working on the house, cleaning up and renovating it, even with splinters in his fingers, and bruises on his knees and forearms, with bloodied knuckles, he seems in a trance almost, not even noticing his own pain, he just needs to get the house perfect.

My thoughts on Wind
Finally finished reading book 4 of A Starless Clan. I've got a lot of opinions on it, as expected. It's going to be long and rambly. There will be major spoilers under the read more. My thoughts might only make sense to me so I understand if nobody wants to read this, but I really want to get out my feelings on this book
Shout out to @shadowfern for sending me the link to the pdf! Tysm again!!!
Let's start this off by talking about the best girl in the whole world: Frostpaw. Oh my sweet baby. They really put her Through It this book. She was so right to come forward during the gathering in chapter one to speak out against Splashtail.
But then Duskfur. Oooh my god Duskfur. Literally what was her fucking damage? Frostpaw is her freaking GRANDDAUGHTER. But I guess because Frostpaw mentioned Curlfeather being an evil mastermind, Duskfur was pissed about it? Which is understandable. Who wants to hear that their child is a murderer, someone who organized the death of important figures in your society?
But then she goes on to accuse Frostpaw of being a liar and a manipulator because *gasp* she was a manipulated teen who couldn't figure out what was right and what was wrong!? She was tricked by Curlfeather into being a medicine cat, as Splashtail reiterates. She does eventually get real visions, though. However, because she had a few false visions, nobody will believe her about them. But like. Frostpaw is a kid essentially, with not a lot of training yet, and who doesn't have much of a guide when it comes to visions because Mothwing doesn't get them. How was Frostpaw supposed to distinguish what was real and what was a dream all on her own?
Regardless Duskfur is a bitch in the first chapter who backs up Splashtail and his condescending speech about how much Frostpaw had been through and how much of a poir little meow meow she is because of it
And then she proceeds to get exiled. Her clanmates know she's been through so much, and yet they allow her to be cast out from her home away from the support of her family
A family which comprises of mostly bastards at this current moment, including Duskfur, Icewing, and Podlight. Shout out to the do-nothing siblings Graypaw and Mistpsw though
I hate the characterization of Icewing in this first chapter because she doesn't do much. Podlight is another creature entirely. He's so vile. Gives off evil henchman vibes, almost on the same wavelength as Darkstripe
I'll come back to those cats later, let's get back to talking about Frostpaw. After getting exiled she has to frantically look between the leaders to see who might take her into their clan, so she doesn't become a rogue. Squirrelstar almost agrees but because she doesn't want to cause trouble she hesitates (we'll also get back to this characterization later). Tigerheartstar instead offers Frostpaw a temporary place in Shadowclan
If I had a nickle for every time Tigerheartstar took in an exiled Riverclan medicine cat I'd have 2 nickles. Which isn't a lot but its weird it happened twice
I love the dynamic between Frostpaw and Shadowsight. I've seen people shipping them but I literally cannot picture them being romatic with each other. I get big brother little sister vibes from them. I feel like Puddleshine's wariness of Frostpaw was dumb, though.
Puddleshine did eventually come around, when he snuck to the moon pool with Frostpaw to see if Splashtail would go to get his nine lives. I hate how he didn't start believing Frostpaw until Riverstar appeared though. Splashtail and Podlight sitting around, laughing about how useless Starclan is and how they're literally at the moon pool just to say they went, doesn't convince Puddleshine that Frostpaw was telling the truth. But Riverstar hopping over their heads unseen just to wink at Puddleshine and Frostpaw convinces him. Ok.
Great job guiding the living btw Riverstar. Clearly not doing anything or saying anything beyond that one tiny scene was helpful
Anyways, Puddleshine, finally believing Frostpaw, goes with her to tell Tigerheartstar about everything was great. Actually I hate to say if but I really liked Tigerheartstar this book. He was literally the only tolerable and competent leader throughout the entire thing. Even better than Squirrelstar
Speaking of Squirrelstar. Oh boy.... What the hell did they do to her?
I expected the Erins to do one of four things with Squirrelstar. 1) Kill her by the end of this book (and say she lied about getting her nine lives). 2) Make her a very aggressive leader. 3) Leave her character alone and write her as she has been. Or 4) make her incompetent and have her be the first deposed leader
Instead, they made Squirrelstar the most do nothing leader imaginable. To the point where other characters in the text itself were mentioning how she's doing nothing at all, and how unexpected that is. Squirrelstar states she doesn't want to shake things up because of being a new leader. She's trying to gain the other leaders' respect
Which I could understand. If this was any other character in the entirety of warriors, minus Firestar. Squirrelflight was always the type to be headstrong doing things her own way, to follow her heart, and do what needs to be done especially for the good of others. Squirrelstar even mentions that about herself! "As Squirrelflight I'd agree with you. But as Squirrelstar I'm afraid I can't." There is literally no difference though, she's still the same cat!!!
I understand she's also trying to protect Thunderclan and keep her warriors safe. She's responsible for all these lives. But she was responsible for them before as well! She was deputy ffs. A clan deputy is responsible for the lives of their clanmates as much as a leader is. Squilf even acted as temporary leader, and still did not behave like this at that time! I don't understand why she had to be written as someone too hesitant to act because of fear of being judged. Squilf was literally never like that before until this book. She's basically a new character and I think I hated this most of all out of everything else in Wind.
Actually none of the leaders except Tigerheartstar want to act in this book. Squirrelstar and Harestar both want to wait to stop Splashtail until Riverclan is ready to stop him. In the old books though, if there was something going on in the other clans the leaders didn't like, they'd fight about it (for example: how Shadowckan and Winclan teamed up to raid Thunderclan after discovering they were housing Brokentail as their prisoner. Or how Lionclan first formed to stop Tigerstar from ruling over all the clans.)
Also now that I mention fighting, there are literally no battles waged in the entire book. The closest thing we get is the battle training in Riverclan camp where Splashtail was forcing cats to fight each other aggressively with claws out.
And the most violent 2 scenes in the book were when a tree fell on Winclan's nursery, and Splashtail killed Harelight in front of his clan because Harelight dared to have a different opinion than him
Harelight deserved better tbh. He was one of the best characters in the story and he barely had a part to play. Rip king
Let's talk about some other characters now. Nightheart for instance. He was actually also tolerable in this book. I like how his character has progressed. He's growing up and isn't as much of a jerk like he was in the beginning, good for him.
I liked his relationship with Wasp and Waffle. Though I'm surprised neither of them insisted on following Frostpaw. Especially with how determined Wasp was to become a Riverclan cat. I'm shocked he didn't loyally follow Frostpaw wherever she went due to her connection to Riverstar. Instead both cats went with Nightheart to Thunderclan which was fine for a while
Nightheart makes for a good mentor, surprisingly. I like the way he taught Wasp and Waffle about things. Though I don't like that he was chosen to be Wafflepaw's mentor. It makes sense, but like other characters said, the apprentices could have gone to more experienced cats than Nightheart and Co.
The relationship between Nightheart and Sunbeam is cute here and there but their chemistry is almost non existent. Sunbeam has more chemistry with Finchlight, Bayshine, and Myrtlebloom than Nightheart. Finchlight should steal Sunbeam from Nightheart sorry not sorry
Sunbeam's turn now. Once again her chapters felt the weakest compared to the other POVs. She doesn't really bring anything new to the table, her perspective shows nearly the same things Nightheart's does and her personality is kind of generic. The only thing she has is mommy angst, and love for Nightheart. She worries about her family in most of her chapters, when they don't really want her around unless she helps them and/or stays with them. Berryheart is especially mean towards Sunbeam. She feels betrayed, sure, but that's still her kid who's trying to heal the disgusting infection that slowly killing her. Look at that Sunbeam's so uninteresting I started talking about Berryheart instead. Let's dive into that more
I didn't think Berryheart would have that much influence over the plot anymore tbh. But this stupid cat is gripping it tightly with the tips if her grubby little paws refusing to let go. Throughout most of her mentioned moments she's slowly wasting away from a nasty wound she obtained by being too stubborn to get off the road. She refuses treatment from Sunbeam because she didn't agree with mommy dearest and follow her to exile so now Berryheart's basically disowned Sunbeam (its never stated but implied by her behavior).
Another reason Berryheart refuses medicine is because they are "clan herbs" and she refuses anything from the clans. Although idk how she was able to tell the herbs came from a clan vs Sunbeam finding them on her own but whatever. Then several chapters later she's magically joined Riverclan and proclaims to be one of the most loyal cats there??? Idk how Berryheart went from being a diehard Shadowclan loyalist, to a bitter rogue hating all the clans, to a Riverclan cat. Sunbeam thinks it might be due to Berryheart fighting to survive but by the time she's shown in Riverclan she seems almost back to full health. Maybe she's planning to destroy the clans now, from the inside out, starting with Riverclan. Who knows. I guess we'll find out in the next book or two. I'm disappointed Berryheart didn't die and that they're continuing on with her as a villain. I'm on the fence of whether I like her being a villain anymore. On one hand, yay a villain who's clanborn and a female. On the other, she's a really annoying and a poorly written villain
Moving on to other, more minor characters: Mothwing Duskfur, and Icewing. We don't see much of them (especially past the first chapter). When we do, though, they're talking to Frostpaw about how right she is and how none of them want Splashtail in power anymore.
This is an especially surprisingly development from Duskfur who earlier was very outspoken about accepting him. The in-story excuse is that Riverclan just wanted a leader finally, and were willing to accept that Podlight suddenly wanted to be a healer and magically had a connection to Starclan which told him that Splashtail was their new ruler. The real excuse is that it's piss poor writing and the Erins make whatever cat do whatever is necessary for the plot, even if that means their personality needs to takes an entire 180 in the middle of the book.
Icewing is still pretty useless in the story, which is a shame because she had a decent roll last book. Mothwing's character stayed somewhat the same, though. She's still kind of mean to Frostpaw. She's sort of a do-nothing, too, but not as much as the leaders. She wants to make a change but doesn't act at first because then Riverclan would be left without a proper medicine cat, which is a more valid excuse for her inaction compared to Squirrelstar's, Tigerheartstar's, and Harestar's.
Lightleap was mentioned in one chapter and she had an attitude. What a tragedy. Blazefire and Dovewing weren't mentioned at all which was a huge loss, because we lovewing Dovewing here, and I just think Blazefire is neat (I like his name, I'm biased purely because of that)
Whistlepaw was really good in this book, as she was in the last. I feel like she was unjustly punished for helping Frostpaw as I stated in this post here, I won't repeat myself about that point again. I liked her during the Windckan chapters, when the tree fell on the nursery. Her mentioning the kit she was trying to save, Leafkit, was her baby sister was sooo nice. The Erins rarely write cats acknowledging younger siblings as such so that was cute. It made the worry and care Whisperpaw expressed during that scene all the better because it wasn't just a medicine cat trying to do their job and save someone. It was a sister desperately trying to get to their sister. Whistlepaw is my second favorite character in this arc next to Frostpaw and not just because of my next point.
Whistlepaw × Frostpaw is the most superior ship in the book, and dare I say throughout the current arc. Their dialog with each other once Sunbeam rescued Leafkit was so gay it was amazing. Like legit their interactions with each other here as well as through most of A Starless Clan have more chemistry than any other pairings do
Also this is random but I feel like either Whistlepaw or Leafkit will get a POV next arc. Probably Leafkit because the writers took the time to describe what she looks like even though Leafkit only appeared for this one scene. Please Erins give us a Winclan POV
I suppose I should talk about Splashtail now. He's a really lame villain tbh. I'm glad we have a clanborn bad guy for a change, but he literally sucks. He wants to be leader because he wants to make Riverclan stronger, great. And then he proceedes to do that by having his warriors beat the shit out of each other to toughen them up and make them seem like the strongest clan. Ok. Idk how that accomplishes anything rn. I'm sure this means Riverclan will get to cause the one fight scene that happens next book, hooray /s
No but seriously I see where this whole evil Splashtail plot is going. He doesn't like Starclan because he doesn't want to listen to what they say or follow their rules. The moral of this arc is going to be that following Starclan is the right thing to do, they are the ultimate good, and anybody who doesn't follow Starclan is a dirty heretic. It's christian religious propaganda and I'm tired of it, but whatever I'm to obsessed with these stupid cats to stop reading
Overall this book was very disappointing and boring. I'm sad to see this arc taking such a boring turn, and I'm worried about what the next books will bring. The arc was so promising and now it sucks, tragic
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Members of the Frostpaw Defense Club rise up!
I give this book 3/10 Stars

Let's talk about Rengoku
Man, that guy, Rengoku. Love him to pieces. Let's talk about him.
Specifically, I'm thinking about his relationship with Tanjiro (naturally). I do think it's interesting to explore what his relationship could be with the others, but that's for another post (he's forgetful of names, but I think after a few times he would make an effort to remember!).
I think the reason that he forgets Tanjiro's name on the train is not that he's callous, but he has a one track mind.
He remembers Tanjiro - of course he does - but that wasn't his focus. We never got a ton of information about him, but one thing we know is that he tends to run at a different wavelength. He's got a lot on his mind. Shinobu mentions how they're often not on the same page, but she still respects and admires him. All the Hashira like him even if he may get a head of himself.
I think with Tanjiro, the reason they work so well together is how Tanjiro, perhaps unlike Rengoku, tries to match his wavelength to others. It's not even that he does it purposefully, but he's naturally empathetic. When he realizes Rengoku isn't going to meet his eyes on the train, he stares ahead. When Rengoku starts yelling, Tanjiro eventually matches his volume lol it's comedic relief and meant to show us how awkward but lovable Rengoku is, but also shows how Tanjiro is always willing to meet people halfway.
I think we can see in these scenes together how even born from admiration, the two of them could get along very well. Rengoku is desperate to have a tsuguko he can relate to that can keep up with him. He's not willing to sacrifice the effort he puts into training just to make someone stay.
Tanjiro would absolutely be the first to stick with him and fall for him.
Though we do have to consider: Tanjiro has no intention of becoming a Hashira. He doesn't really care about making it far in the Demon Slayer Corps either. I love this about him.
I feel like it might confuse Rengoku, at first. He wouldn't get it, but if Tanjiro is intent to train with him, he wouldn't mind.
So, romance. I think Rengoku would be so focused on his work that he wouldn't even have time to think about things like romance. He would never recognize his own feelings until they were shoved in his face. I have a hard time imagining him getting jealous or realizing his feelings in that sort of roundabout way. Rather, I think he would separate himself from those feelings without even really thinking about it.
So what's the trigger? Would Tanjiro confess?
Tanjiro would absolutely make the first move, but I'm not sure about a confession. Realistically, I assume in this time period that wouldn't fly lol but let's say it would!
A Tanjiro confession would feel almost like a normal conversation. I can imagine Tanjiro one day going out of his way to declare every way in which he admires and likes Rengoku. He might even use the word love, but it would be a love for his passion and his strength. I think that kind of confession would cause Rengoku to stumble a little. He'd realized what it means eventually, but it would still take time.
Then they fuck...

okay so i rewatched the batman for like the 5th time last night / this morning and i was having too many thoughts to put them all as a letterboxd comment so here are all my little semi connected ramblings on the film
starting off strong with right at the start the drophead guy that tried to rob the convenience store, its just so interesting to me that he was scared of the batman even when he wasnt there and so he ran back into the street and got hit by a police car but the police just yelled at him like they didnt try to stop him or anything -- metaphor for how the batman is offering solutions and providing suspects for the police and stuff but theyre too corrupt to do anything about it ? maybe
it’s the whole system -- just that quote is so good, i should remember who said it considering i literally watched the film 2 hours ago i think it was gil but again super good line just encompassing the fact that the gotham justice system does not offer justice, it is corrupt down to its core and it is failing the people
bruce wayne my blorbo this is just a point about how smart he is and like he just catches on to things but its interesting because he can understand how the riddlers brain works also when bruce punched jim and then jim was like you couldve pulled that punch and bruce was like i did he is so im just kind of obsessed with the fact that he trains for this and its just interesting anyway point about my poor little meow meow over back to analysis
the good cop batshit cop contrasted with brains and brawn -- bruce and jim work together well, they bounce ideas off eachother especially in that scene with the penguim and the way when jim pretended to side with his captain (??? i cant remember) bruce was like et tu? and then that contrasted with batman and the riddler the way riddler thinks hes working with bruce because they both understand a fundamental aspect of eachother and sure bruce is on the same wavelength as him sometimes but its only to track him down and riddler just completely does not realise
when alfred intercepts the assassination attempt and the card reads see you in hell, i feel like that wouldve twisted the knife even more; im not 100% familiar with the original deaths of martha + thomas but the whole senseless crime thing kind of echoes here, like all the other cards to the batman had a cypher or a clue or something but this is just senseless hatred that has no obvious lead for bruce to chase up
he mindmaps, i just like that its fun its fresh hes just like me fr
the way bruce and the riddler are tied together, like in the small things with the diaries but also theyre obviously both orphans and they can understand eachother, they were both born out of tragedy and that was the renewal fund and thomas + marthas deaths, where bruce was left without a mother or father alone in the world (ignoring alfred, as bruce did) the riddler was left without hope, they both use fear, though the batman uses it as a deterrant whereas the riddler uses it as inspiration and almost thrives off it
the way bruce misses the tucker, the carpet tool, showing that even if he fights for the city, even if he walks its streets, he is still a billionaire in a bat suit and there will be experiences and little things that he does not know and that shape his personality and the way he solves crimes
the way the batman begins with the whole i am vengeance thing but comes to realise that he needs to be a symbol of hope, someone for people to fall back on as he ends in the movie, the realisation as he hears his words come from someone wanting to cause only pain and immediatly sacrificing himself by cutting the electric thingy and falling into the water just seconds later

OH ALSO I had an idea where Candace teaches Phineas and Ferb how to drive (which you would think wouldn't be necessary cause of all their driving space ships and stuff but driving a normal car without any tech is HARD) and how cute that would be. And like, you'd think Phineas would be a speed demon and bad at driving but its actually Ferb who wants to go like 90 in a 45 and Phineas has driving anxiety and is actually so SO careful. I just wanted to tell you about that that's all <3
You and me are on the same wavelength forever and ever, my friend!!!
Listen, remember "My Ride from Outerspace?" Ferb is like that with a normal car all the time! His speeding is worst than anyone else in the family, AND he's always his friend groups chauffeur, unfortunately. He and Isabella split the difference, actually. The boy is a man of action, and his action is trying to go faster than the speed of light in a regular, non-modefied station wagon. Because of this, Linda and Lawrence have forbade him from getting a motorcycle.
You're completely right, Phineas is the most careful with major anxiety, he won't even have the radio on just in case he gets distracted. (Ferb always has his on full blast, Isa has her radio on a normal volume, Buford listens to podcasts in different languages when he's on his electric scooter, and Baljeet alternates between academic lectures and full blown, full bass hard rock.) Phineas is the most careful and drives like a little old lady, which actually little old ladies of Danville find annoying as hell.
Candace is such a backseat driver when teaching her brothers, she's trying her best to be supportive, really. She starts with Phineas parallel parking in front of the house, like Lawrence did with her, and it's the most careful, slowest, tiny adjustments, parallel parking of her life. Ferb does it in one go, perfectly, but somehow there are fast tire marks on the asphalt.
Perry is in the backseat with whoever isn't driving at the moment, because for some reason the mindless platypus wouldn't let them leave without him. (Perry wants to see his kids succeed! He missed a lot of big Candace moments like this because of OWCA, he refuses to miss any of Phineas or Ferb's!) He almost breaks cover twice, once when Phineas was driving, just to sign to tell him to speed up, once when Ferb was driving, so he could write a new Will, just in case!

You know it's so contrasting that Tae want people to support them so he keep mentioning Jungkook but Jungkook wants to hide his relationship by mentioning anyone but Taehyung? Please make it sense for me. I am a taekooker and I believe in taekook my issue comes from I don't understand what JK wants.
Before someone points out JK talks about Tae plenty. He did at one point: beach live, Taehyung mv, Instagram live etc. but you see there is no consistency. Do I want him to speak about Tae everytime? Absolutely not. It's okay to keep your private life private. Yet he talks about Brian all the time. He sings his song, tells stories about him, watches his show and all that jazz. Again they are friends he can do so but then so are other BTS members. I hardly see him speaking about others. He has to know that favouring one would cause fan wars with the same people Tae wants support from. What I don't understand is lack of balance they keep when they have to make sure they are not outed and people think they are very close. I mean if they are in relationship they must have at least discussed how to go forth with their relationship in the eyes of gp and fans. And I am hoping taekook would know brimothy & army and taekook fan wars. They must have studied the way they are portraying themselves makes Tae a liar or attention seeker While Jungkook just don't reciprocate much. Look at SNS pages you'll see beside some tkkrs and kths almost everyone think Tae is using Jungkook.
I don't think I was able to explain my point. What makes me puzzle is lack of coordination between Taekook and how they portray their relationship. If the goal is make people believe they are close without outing them then I think JK needs to be a little proactive in mentioning Tae and start talking about other members on the same wavelength. Otherwise Tae falls in negative light tbh.If their goals is to keep hush hush their bonding (not relationship) then Tae really needs to tone down because people are now seeing them together and that should be sufficient.
Just my POV. People may not agree with me.
Note: I am not asking them then to behave acc to my wishes just trying to make sense what they want to show about their relationship.
Hi anon!
In a span of one night, I've gotten many asks like yours. And... I get it, but I also don't. Everyone is acting as if something has changed, but it hasn't really. When we take things at face value all Jk did was do a live (as he has many times before) and talk about Jimin. Jimin is one of his best friends. Jimin has stuff out for him to watch together with army. He knows army enjoyed it last time he did this, so why not do it again. Jimin is safe territory for Jk. Only fandom is comparing Jikook to Taekook, but I really doubt they themselves do that. I think Jk is just being genuine in his lives. He is not betraying Tae by mentioning Jimin. He is not choosing Jimin over Tae by mentioning him more this time. Tae is in a tricky situation right now. The safest thing for Jk to do right now is to not engage in any Taennie stuff.
So while fandom is making this some kind of competition, Tae, Jimin and Jk are not actually participating in that. Jk doesn't keep tabs on how many times he's mentioned anyone. Jk is just being Jk. He shares what he wants to.
Just, think of Jk as a real person, with real human feelings. What would you do in a situation like this? Your boyfriend is in a tricky situation with a pretend girlfriend. That hurts, because he is yours but the public can't know about it. You can also not talk about him freely, because when you do your smile gets too big. And when you'll see all the Taennie comments in your live... you are prone to get upset. So what do you do? You don't talk about him. You keep your love to yourself. You do talk about one of your other best friends, because that makes you and army happy.
It is not a competition or a war for them anon. That is only between fandoms.
I think Jk and Tae want to make it absolutely clear that they are really close friends. But not more than that. And how they've been acting, I think to most (not Taekookers) that is what it looks like.

*Me banging on your window again*: I am just SO Normal about these mutant turtles and your Star Wars OC.
Knowing that Leo went through a growth spurt during his year in space and after seeing some great art by butterflyscribbles about the turtles dealing with shedding, I have some Thoughts about Leo having to deal with at least one shed while he was with Chula.
First off, because I continue to find it hilarious, I think Chula would see pieces of Leo’s skin and shell peeling off and immediately assume he was dying of some horrible disease. Especially if Leo had mentioned the possibility of “shell rot” to her in the past, and/or that turtles typically need specific wavelengths of UV light (UV B I think) for their shells/bones to stay healthy and grow correctly (she might assume that she hadn’t adjusted the ships lighting correctly to give him those wavelengths, or she hadn’t taken him out in sunlight often enough, or she hadn’t taken him to the right suns). True, of all the times she’s freaked out before, it’s never actually been anything serious, but by the Force she cannot take that chance.
Leo would probably be a huge drama queen about it. This may or may not have contributed to Chula’s freakout (the 87th this month). Eventually he manages to establish that “No, I am not dying. I do not need to go to a Space Hospital. This just happens every so often and I hate it but it’s fine. Please get off Space Web MD. My ✨whole situation✨ isn’t even going to be on there!” However, I think that complaining about it a bunch would help him feel a little more normal, even if it makes him miss his brothers a whole lot more, because they all tend to shed at the same time and help each other with it.
And now the angsty bit, because I have to: the scarring and damage to Leo’s shell might make it a lot harder for some of his shed scutes to come off. Maybe his scutes usually come off in one nice piece, but now on the damaged areas they are cracked, broken, full of holes, and literally crumbling in his hands. Definitely no metaphors to be drawn there, no sir! I’m sure that would be great for his mental state. Also, if I remember correctly, his worst shell injuries were in spots that would be hard for him to reach. Sure, he could make a little portal to get at those spots himself but he just… kinda hates seeing the extent of what the Krang did to him. So he asks Chula to help, and it’s a little emotional and stressful because he can’t stop thinking about what (who) caused all that damage and how bad it would have been if he didn’t fall onto Chula’s ship and get treated with her Magic Space Goo (bacta), but they do have a nice little bonding session despite—or maybe because of—all that.
On all levels except physical, I am stacking sugar cookies on your window sill.
Hell yes, love sugar cookies!
There will definitely be a shedding episode at some point. I'm hoping to start posting the one-shot fic once I get a little more headway on the current main storyline.
But yeah, Chula would absolutely flip when Leo starts shedding. Knowing Leo, he'd probably wake up itchy and kinda cranky and immediately go to Chula, acting like a sick toddler.
And Chula will once again forget everything she knows about reptilian races for the next few hours and be stuck on, 'I fucked up, i fucked up, the child is dying now. I have killed him, I will never recover from this mistake. Ashla have mercy on my soul because I fucked up.'
And then she finds a nice planet with a hot spring where Leo can soak to help with the shedding.
And he definitely asks for help, maybe because if he closes his eyes and doesn't think about the extra claws, it almost feels like Raph is helping him scratch loose scutes off.

Just rewatched Vol 2 and here is my take on the love confession the second time around:
The love is real. It would not make sense to have saved her if it wasn't. The "power of love" is in contrast to the lab here though (in that she has grown and built relationships since escaping) and therefore does not have to be explicitly romantic. I fully believe that he loves her, is unafraid of her, is scared of losing her, is scared of vulnerability. I believe that *he* believes he has loved her since the day they met - but that is a very dramatic phrasing and is often used in retrospect overgeneralizing (+the st writers said on twitter they dont believe in love at first sight/"wrong answers only" and they said "absolutely" to that question). I find everything entirely genuine except the phrases that were especially dramatic and rom-com-y. Those were still mostly genuine because I don't think he's *LYING*.
I guess what I'm saying is that he obviously loves her as someone he has known for years, who he gets along with great, who he trusts, etc. I do not think any of the moments that he says he loves her are disingenuous. The only sentebces that feel off are when he describes HOW he loves her. He describes having loved her since the day he met and feeling like his "life started". It's sounds like a recitation of some definition of romantic love.
It just feels sort of out of place to me, especially being contextualized with genuine statements the way it is. "You are important to me; you are amazing; I believe in you; I can't lose you; I love you always and forever". It's so close to being the same wavelength and I can't explain it because these things are SUPPOSED to be subliminal messaging but it just feels out of place. Like every other statement is about how he loves her and what he loves her for but as soon as he goes into what caused him to love her it's just a little off.
And with the writers saying that they don't believe in love at first sight too? I don't know; it just doesn't add up. It ALMOST does. Everything else is right. Just not "I feel like my life started; I fell in love when I saw you" and I don't quite know why but maybe it is just the cheesiness of it. That it's cliché. Everything else is personal but for those few sentences, he said things that have been said before.
Maybe that's it. It's too vague. He specifies her shirt, sure, but that isn't what I mean. "I've always loved you" can be applied to anyone whereas "I love you with or without your powers; you're *my* superhero" is personal.
It's just...why would the disconnected line be about what caused him to love her, also? Like there would be nothing wrong with it if he didn't fall HEAD OVER HEELS in a matter of days at age 11. So why would any part of his subconscious feel the need to exaggerate or compensate? What would he even have to hide? Why lie about when and why he loves her? Does it even matter? I'm literally trying to think of like what would be "bad". Like...he loved her like a normal person and it developed with their relationship? I really think the only possible explanation for him feeling the need to overcompensate with what the writers have confirmed is a statement they do not believe would be to subconsciously convince himself of the nature of his feelings by delivering them like a rom com. Idk that's all I got man. This man has no heterosexual explanation to his behaviour and I'm not even saying that in an I'm gay and want him to be I'm saying that in an I am an actor and am confused because I cannot for the life of me track this man's motives way.

Overthinking dictionary show again so okay what if Two-Brains has to go under house arrest at the Botsfords for a couple of weeks or so like chuck did that one time (ramble ahead)
Okay so Becky is pissed at first naturally and Tj thinks it’s cool (he asks TB about wordgirl and stuff). Their parents are as cheerful and accommodating as ever, and Mr. Botsford gets really excited to make like a ridiculous amount of cheese-based Botsford home recipes for their houseguest because thats what he does.
Funnily enough, the sheer amount of cooking Mr. Botsford does provides Squeaky with a good enough amount of cheese to let Steven have a bit more agency.
Becky is all annoyed that she has to house a villian AGAIN because why wouldn’t she be, until she catches Twobrains reading a science book, and because she is her, starts reading it over his shoulder. He notices this but pretends not to in the hopes that she’ll get bored and go away. It’s just some random little girl right? She’ll get bored eventually.
So anyways after they finish the book he sarcastically asks her what she thought of it cause he thinks that she probably wasn’t able to understand it. Once she starts discussing it in depth he’s surprised to find himself in an engaging conversation with this kid. They just kindof keep talking and bantering and going on tangents until it’s dinner time and they both realize that they’ve been conversing for like an hour. Both parties despise this realization.
Becky is telling herself that she was just bored and doesn’t ACTUALLY like talking to twobrains, and the rhythm they fell into definitely isn’t making her think about Boxlietner. Meanwhile Twobrains is questioning why he would spend so much time talking about NOT cheese with some random child he’s forced to stay with. And why talking with that random child felt so comfortable and familiar.
Becky puts off processing her emotions because she does that and just ends up finding herself spending more and more time with Twobrains, he still annoys her with his cheese cravings and tendency to try and concoct evil plans on a whim but with him being unable to actually commit crimes and her being able to pretend to just be some kid without any obligations to hate him it’s just. Nice
After all, Wordgirl is the superhero who should never support Twobrains. Wordgirl is the one who has a rocky past with him. Becky Botsford is different.
She even brings him some non-dangerous building materials and they work on projects together to pass the time. He teaches her science and technology things just like he did back when he was Boxlietner. Becky thinks that Twobrains is not considering this. He is.
Twobrains is just rolling with it at first and pretty indifferent to the fact that Becky seems to go back and forth between being fascinated with him and being aggressive and mistrusting with him. As she ends up hanging around him more and more that familiar feeling grows, and he swears that sometimes she is exactly like the pesky little Superhero that he used to be friends with. He totally does not enjoy this and does not like having someone around smart enough and interested enough to teach again.
At some point he mentions her likeness to wordgirl to her and the rest of the day Becky is like “dont be suspicious dooont be suspicious” which makes her seem soooo suspicious
If you want family angst, then may I bring up the fact that even though the Botsfords love and adore Becky and she love and adores them back, they don’t always ‘get’ her, she’s got a lot going on and she’s almost always preoccupied in her brain with SOMETHING (that she never talks to her parents about). She also tends to be on the same wavelength a lot of the time as twobrains in the show, and will just casually end up ranting to him about whatever when they’re not at odds.
imagine her parents seeing Becky, as far as they know, finally have an adult at her nerdy, book-smart, intellectual level (we all know 95% of Fair City is dumb as shit, I say this with love) and watching the two ramble on and on using big words they don’t understand and feeling like there’s something there that THEY should be providing for their daughter, but can’t. Better yet, imagine her family getting worried that she’s unintentionally on a path to becoming a villian.
And what if at the same time Twobrains decides for SURE that okay this little girl is actually Wordgirl, her parents go to confront her about that even though it may be intellectually stimulating and she’s getting along with Twobrains, she can’t become a villian. And theres just an entire mess there
Okay im done but hnnnn
