reading volume 105 and I had forgotten we actually got mihawk's bounty and on page acknowledgement that he's a better swordsman than shanks??? they have half a billion difference in bounty mihawk's is still over half a billion above luffy's this is absolutely fantastic to me for many many reasons but especially because by god zoro seriously fought him ten volumes in. he really tried to fight someone with three times king's bounty with only one named sword and three weeks of experience as a pirate. he actually left his village at age sixteen specifically looking for him and went up to him at age nineteen convinced he was gonna win. and he had the guts to complain about mihawk using the butter knife to fight him too how is he alive he's so lucky mihawk felt like adopting that day

Unpopular opinion = I hate how Sirius' last words to harry were 'nice one James ' in the movies. Ik a lot of people found that really emotional and touching and all of that but it never sat right with me. In the books Sirius' last words to harry were him asking harry to grab Neville and get tf out of the DoM. Sirius might hv occasionally seen harry as more of a friend than a son, but that was never the case when harry's safety was concerned. He would never have seen harry as duelling partner like he would have for James, rather he saw harry as his godson he had to make sure was safe. That line really cheapens Sirius' love for harry imo.

Having an Anxiety Moment (tm).

I'm going to Akihabara, our favorite Japanese barcade, this evening with Husband and his work friends.

I'm considering cancelling--sitting out on video games and alcohol, which are two of my favorite things--because I have nothing to wear.

I am also considering going back to the mall (already walked 1.5 miles there, go me! but all the stores were closed because it was early) and buying a new outfit, which I can't afford.

Maybe I can wash my SENPAI sweatshirt, even though I'm not super happy about the fit right now.

Where is this really coming from? Akihabara is usually one of the things that I am always 100% down for, no matter how I look or who else is there. Maybe it's because I'll be meeting new people. Maybe it's because I'm insecure about my appearance (I've gained about 15lbs and would like to lose them, as most of my cute clothes don't fit now). Maybe both?

Either way, this is gonna be me with a little sparkling strawberry sake on board. It won't be a huge deal. Anxiety is just being rude and I WILL find an outfit.

no i get you like. i'm further gone than you are because it's like so important to me that bdubs (actually the guy) had all these anxieties about aging & his physical appearance (height, hair, etc.) and his dreams & is talking abt idolizing this figure who is famously not conforming but also plays it really as if he's a straight guy. & so a lot of his anxieties are tied up in being non-normative or non-ideal & it's like not even the biggest thing ever bc he's also simultaneously right before the rodman thing talking abt how his wife is his best friend and he loves her So Much & he's always been that kind of dad or whatever

but like idk when you become an adult at the time where "metrosexual" is just about one of the worst things a guy can be and then you just over time become chill and at peace with the version of the person that you are with all your dyed and fade cut hair and short jokes and straight up not even thinking when asked who your boyfriend is... after so long of playing similar roles but just owning up to it all. it's really fun and nice and lovely despite the rocky path to get there i love that he plays more of an intentional capital-C character now even if it makes me crazy when ppl take that at face value. he's had a journey it's great i hope he drowns in lake michigan but i love him so much <3

This really cool organization called NORLA (Norwegian Literature Abroad) gave me the chance to go to New York to present my comic and it was awesome! Hoping this leads to an English release, but these things take ages so who knows at this point. All I know for sure is I had pumpkin pie for the first time and I want more!!

Didn’t it turn out lovely 💕 There’s not a lot of sky-related imagery in RR, but I couldn’t not go with this colour - it’s an even richer rust colour IRL :D

The spine ended up being big enough that I was able to sneak in two bookmarks! One for Zoom (the black) and one for Rusty (the red)
