I'm sure I've talked about this before, but I'm still not over this aspect of abuse I faced wherein systems were used against me in a very manipulative way. When I was hospitalized, it was because I was a "bad victim" of the abuse I faced - the system (hospitals) was used against me in a manipulative and coercive way which further traumatized me, and I don't think people like talking about it.

I specifically talked about the abuse I faced and the way systems were exploited to further manipulate a narrative that I "deserved" the treatment I received, but I think it's telling that I'm not the only person who experienced this. There's something wrong with abusive people being able to exploit systems in order to "punish" the target of abuse. There's something wrong with the way we treat abuse victims/survivors. I, frankly, will never be able to forgive the people who let my autonomy be revoked through coercive means. I spent years feeling like I "deserved" the abuse that put me in that situation, and I was damaged for it. And knowing that I'm not the only person who has had that experience of abuse makes me insane.

The only movie genre I like a lot is comedy. There's more nuance in my book and music tastes, but it's pretty clean cut film wise. If it ain't funny, I don't care. If it's relaxing (like a relaxing sitcom or cooking show or something), that gets a pass too. But I hate anything tragic, dramatic, scary, etc. I don't need it in my life! I'm already a very volatile person, I don't need anything if it can't help keep me calm. If you have a comedy drama, then I'll try it. But pure drama isn't worth it.

Well, Skyrim is being an absolute bastard and crashing on my fancy screenarchery mod profile, but here’s a future Project ja-Kha’jay addon: Asya’la the Nordic Khajiit.

She uses Vaharadaro’s great Canadian Lynx preset as a base, and she’s extra fluffy due to being acclimated to Skyrim’s cold climate (loosely inspired by this art of galoogamelady’s Mi’jirra.)

I will release her after I finish updating the Project ja-Kha’jay, but no ETA because it looks like I’ll have to do a clean install of Skyrim :(

Have you ever heard of the Dracula Musical? It claims to be based off the book, but is more similar to the movie, as Mina is "torn" between her devotion to Jonathan and her "darker desires" for Dracula: showing her wanting to save Dracula, the blood scene being a moment of passion between them, has Jonathan being willing to kill her as Mina requests, and even has her be the one to kill him to fulfil his request that she release him from his doomed existence. Yikes, it makes me sick to see this.
