Since this mod hasn't been updated since 2020, here are some additional mods that are worth checking out for fans of practical female armors:

DammApple has covered a lot of armors as well

While not exactly the same, Tathrin's Vanilla Match series gets rid of the gendered clothing models, and lets male characters wear dresses and female characters wear trouser/tunic combos:

There is also a mod called Realistic Female Armor Overhaul, which covers quite a few armors that PFA doesn't BUT it also suffers from bugs and feature creep (like replacing the Imperial armor textures and all the male armors too)

I found the only good mod on the entire nexus

What was the reason you got into Elder Scrolls?

Idk if anyone has done this yet, but I doubt I can fit this all into a poll lol

What was the thing that got you into The Elder Scrolls games, and eventually the fandom?

The thing that got me invested was when I saw my old childhood friend’s brother playing Skyrim on the PlayStation. I thought it looked fun and I ended up buying the game ages ago when I was but a wee lass. Later on, I invested into Oblivion, then Morrowind!

From then on, Elder Scrolls made me realize my love for RPGs and got me invested into stuff like Soulsborne games, Dragon Age, and now, Baldur’s Gate 3.

I got into the fandom whenever I saw an artist on Deviantart named SlayerSyrena made a bunch of comics about their Dark Brotherhood OC in Skyrim. Now, here I am either eating the delicious arts or making comics on my main.

What about your guys’ story?

This isn’t on the ask meme, but what are your thoughts on the three combat archetypes? Warrior, mage, and thief!

I think they're neat! I actually think what ESO does with them (personifies them as Celestials, mysterious powerful beings, possibly formed by the Magna Ge or ascended mortals) is pretty interesting.

I like that all the minor signs have a tie to their major archetype.

For Skyrim, I like alternating between Mage and Thief for levelling up Faolythe as a blade-conjurer type (bound bow my beloved.)

I use Warrior the least, because I live that glass canon life for Skyrim lol

Sovngarde - How would your Last Dragonborn celebrate after the battle with Alduin, or would they celebrate at all?

I feel like it would be a bittersweet victory for Faolythe. I think that absorbing dragon souls would mutate your own and she struggles with the alien nature of her own soul. I do think she would join the party, but her heart isn't as fully in it as it would've been.

Riften - What's your favorite guild? How do you feel about their questline?

I love the characters from the College of Winterhold I think they all have massive potential. Unfortunately the questline is incredibly lacking.

Riverwood - Hadvar or Ralof? Why?

Typically Ralof, since he wasn't in the faction that wanted to kill my character for no reason.

(Faolythe canonically doesn't do through the execution bit, but she would pick Hadvar because of her loathing of Ulfric Stormcloak.)

here are my biggest gaming hot takes:

- no game actually needs to run faster than 30 FPS

- no texture needs to be bigger than 2k, and most don’t need to be bigger than 1k (save for megatextures). A good chunk should actually be smaller than 1k

- lower poly counts > high poly counts

Once you pass a certain threshold, it doesn’t even affect the style of the game that much, and you’re just using exponentially more power to get exponentially smaller results

Like, for example, the original Skyrim was 4 GB. The remaster is 22 GB. That’s five-and-a-half times more space for the exact same content! The graphical improvements are honestly negligible, especially when you consider the massive leap in storage and RAM used.

These sorts of things just hit diminishing returns so quickly— My eyes can’t tell the difference between 1k and 4k textures.

We have so many fun ways to get the maximum mileage out of every pixel and every polygon. It’s sad to see those techniques slowly trickle away from big-budget games!

Even as storage space becomes less and less of a concern, there’s something satisfying about keeping everything as small and tidy as possible

#the point idk about is 30 fps #trying to go back from 60 fps gives me headaches #but not as big of headaches as skyrim mods that make the fuckin ant texture 8k #the only reason to have over 2k textures is screen archery #which is wild for bg3 especially because it doesn't even have a freaking camera mod. you have to pay for a mod for it >_< #i think the skyrim increase is from the creation club mod resources? they get installed automatically after a certain update #wheather you paid and can play them or not #but i don't think they actually increased texture resolution or poly count #idk games need to be better optimized regardless #and the pursuit of photorealism over stylization is foolish in the long run #compared Skyrim (the original unmodded) to something like Dishonored or Borderlands 2 which came out around the same time #hell even compare it to bioshock #and i think it's has aged the worst out of them all #actually now that i think of it... resolution really depends on your screensize too #god of war was fine on my pc but absolutely jaw-droppingly STUNNING on a big screen
