The high school ecosystem thrived on such tales of love and chaos, a dance of hearts and hopes entangled in the whimsy of adolescence.

Looking at the analog clock, you saw the time. 1 A.M. Sighing, you went back to running your hand through Shouta's hair. He groaned lightly, sniffling.

"Sorry, go back to sleep, Hon." You whispered, the backdrop of the moon shadowing his face made him seem so dark. You sighed again, exhaustion stinging your eyes and weighting down on your body. You had been doing that for a while, whispering sweet nothings as he slept.

"...trying.." He mumbled, his arm resting heavily on you. His eyes flickering under his eyelids.

You hissed. "Did I wake you? I'm so sorry." You kissed his nose before softly kissing his lips. "What do you need? Meds? More blanket?" Your assault of questions made him roll over in annoyance, sharply hissing afterward.

"I'm not a baby, I'm not dying. I'm f-" He started.

"Don't. You could have died. I almost lost you. Let me be here for you now, since I couldn't before." You angrily whispered.

Shouta finally opened his eyes, watching you silently get up. "I'm sorry." He whispered, voice so quiet you barely heard him.

"Don't be." You got up, swinging your legs over the side as you cradled your head in your hands. He was apologizing for everything and nothing at all.

He had told you before you officially started dating that he could die at any time. You agreed to that, accepting that. Now, after living that reality again and again, you realized how little heroes cared for themselves. Including him. Especially him.

It seemed near suicidal. His students mattered above all else to him, which you admired. But it almost seemed like he threw himself into danger. Maybe that's why he recognized that behavior in that Deku student. He had lived and breathed that mentality, and even now, he does.

"Why are you awake? Do you need something? Need help to the bathroom?" Your voice hoarse from 24/7 care for him, and none for you.

It was quiet. The only sound was the wind outside and the faint tick, tick, tick, tick of the clock.

"I'm hungry." Shouta said, his voice hoarse from lack of water rather than neglect.

"I'll be back. I'll get you some steaks or something." You got up, sliding your feet. You were wearing the All Might slippers he had gotten you for your birthday last year.

"Chicken strips?"

"Ok."

Shouta would never admit it, but chicken stripes were his guilty pleasure. So you dutifully made your way through the hall. The ICU was filled with quiet, moaning, crying, and distant screaming.

The bright lights of the steril hospital were blinding, and the walls were freezing. You quietly moved your way through and silently bowed to the chef. Carrying back the warm tray was shocking on your cold fingers.

Coming back into the silent room, you rolled over the hospital tray to Shouta and got him situated.

"Thank you." He mumbled quietly before beginning to eat. You just hung your head back, not being able to bear seeing that empty spot where his right leg used to fill.

"Of course." Silence overlapped the room once more. You two hadn't really talked since the both of you got here. You had ran away from your evac spot to the hospital, a two mile trek.

You heard him stop eating, the soft sounds of him chewing, and the scraping of food had ceased.

"Are you....upset?" Shouta asked, his voice shaking just the smallest amount. If anyone else looked at him, they'd think he was apathetic or even annoyed. But you knew. He was hurt and confused, and maybe a little delirious from all the meds.

"No. Not with this. Not with you." You sighed heavily, you were hungry, cold, thirsty, and all of the above. But you weren't upset with Shouta Aizawa. Not now, not here.

"So what's wrong then? You're being cold, and different." The sound coming from his mouth was that same quiet tone you both had been using, but the question itself woke you up.

"You keep brushing off the fact that you could've died, and you practically snapped at me Hizashi earlier when we tried to talk about Kayama. She was our friend too." You leaned forward, the same pose Hizashi had taken earlier that week.

Shouta stared at you, as if you'd grown a second and third head. "You can't tell me how to process my own feelings." He scoffed.

"But you're not. At all. That's my point, I get you don't care about yourself, but I do. And I've been trying to take care of you, we all have, and you've been denying help. I had to force you to eat at the start of the week." You looked down, feeling the tears well in your eyes as your voice cracked.

He said nothing. All Mights fuzzy face smiling up at you, as if he were there, encouraging you now.

"I...I'm sorry."

"Stop saying that!" You whispered angrily. "You keep going back and forth. Either be a dick or don't! Or do you not even know what your apologizing for?" Your arms crossed over your stomach protectively. Shining eyes looking at him, through the looking glass and straight to his face.

He was tired, but Shouta Aizawa was always tired. But this was a different kind of tired, a bone deep kind of exhaustion. You knew he had been running on less than five hours of sleep, energy drinks and cheap food.

"No." Shouta hunched over, his greasy unkempt hair falling over his gaunt face. He hadn't shaved in weeks, giving him that rugged look. This time though, it wasn't hot. Just sad.

You sighed, feeling guilt for snapping at him. "Please just, stay alive? If not for me for Hizashi, or your students?"

"No I- Y/N, I didn't....I didn't mean to-" Shoutas head snapped up, looking desperately at you.

"I know. I know, I know I just..Jesus I almost had to watch you die on fucking national TV." You crawled towards him, cuddling up near him carefully.

"I'm sorry I-" He started, trying his best to curl back into you.

"No, you have nothing to be sorry for."

Both your eyes grow heavy, and you fell asleep to the slow and low sound of his breathing.

The kid turns around. He looks like a wet rat. His facial expression says he knows he’s in trouble. He's tall and kinda goofy-looking. His dark hair is messy, and his eyes are overlined in black.

“Uh, hi. I'm Rodrick. I'm in a band, I uh, I wanna play a show?” He squeaks out, waving a barely legible flier in the air.

“Have you been in touch with Mike?”

“Mike?”

“You gotta get in touch with Mike.” you cross your arms and lean against the doorframe, one foot kicked over the other.

He stares at you, guilty and confused. Your expression is throwing him off. Raised eyebrow, pursed lips. It’s the face of a disappointed mom, but you’re… young. And pretty?

“Do you want the email, or what?”

You break his thoughts.

“Yes! Email. Mike.”

You retreat to the office, rifling through papers until you retrieve a business card.

“Mike Morello. By the way, you might wanna change that band name.”

He looks at his flier, “Why? What's wrong with it?”

You look at him for a while, raising your eyebrows higher and higher, as high as you can, until he’s frustrated. His lanky figure is bouncing all over the hallway. Like a dog who needs to go outside. A big, dumb dog. You look at him in true disbelief. You can’t believe he doesn’t know. He has to know.

“What? What?! Stop looking at me like that!” His eyes are wide and frantic, begging you to say something.

“It sucks!” you laugh.

“It does not suck!”

“Dude, it totally sucks. It's gross. What kind of music do you even play?”

“Fucking rock n roll, baby!” He’s pissed off. It’s hilarious.

“Uh huh. And what are your influences?”

“Influences?”

“Influences. Motives. Backstory.” You clutch your hand into a self-important fist.

“What's with all the questions?” He nearly screeches.

“I'm preparing you for Mike. He's a cynical old fart who's mentally still in late 70s San Francisco. You need to impress him, get a good story going. He's not gonna put some suburban garage band up there.”

He frowns. That's exactly what they are…

“I-” he starts.

“That's exactly what you are, yeah. I know.” You smile, “I can smell suburbs, dude. You'll figure it out.”

“Can I have your email? Or y'know, your phone number or something?” he looks nervous, “Just for, like, advice.”

You cock an eyebrow, think for a minute, then grab a sticky note. It’s surprising after how riled up you got him, but boys are weird.

“Number’s too risky. What if you're a weirdo or something? Here’s my email.” you finish scribbling down the address and extend your hand.

“Cool. I’ll use it.” He nods, taking it from you very delicately. Weirdly careful not to touch your hand. Again, boys are weird.

“…cool. See you around. Maybe. Diaper boy.” you smirk.

Before he can retort, you shut yourself in the office. He stands there for a while, trying to think of something to say back, but nothing comes to him.

“I think she’s saying we need, like, punk cred. It’s a punk bar, after all.” Rodrick leans back on their crappy couch. It was free on the side of the road when they were moving in.

“Pshh, we are so punk!” Chris chimes in. “Ward has a shaved head!”

He points at Ward's head. Ward crosses his arms and nods approvingly.

“She knew I was from the suburbs just by looking at me.” He puts his head in his hands.

“So what are you gonna say to the guy?” Ben asks.

“I dunno, I kinda wanna email the girl first and ask for advice.” Rodrick mumbles.

“Oh, sure. Advice.” Ben rolls his eyes.

“Yes! Just advice!”

“Is she hot?” Ward giggles.

Silence falls upon the room.

“Whatever! What are our influences? Punk influences!”

“Dude, you're, like, totally wearing a Dead Kennedys shirt!” Chris pipes up.

“Okay, yeah, I like Dead Kennedys.” Rodricks sighs, relieved. He knows ‘Police Truck’. Who doesn’t? It was in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater for fuck’s sake!

“Okay! Uhh, shit, what else did she say… motive!”

“Dude, what?” Ben's eyes go wide, “Like murder?”

“No, dumbass, like why did we start the band?” Ward tosses a crushed beer can at him.

“To get girls? To, uhhh…” Chris trails off.

“To rock and roll! To tell everyone to fuck off and prove them all wrong!” Rodrick yells.

The rest of the guys give a resounding yeah! and raise their beers.

Rodrick opens his laptop, making a big show of stretching his hands. He’s gonna write a masterpiece. Löded Diper is gonna take over this town.

He starts typing furiously, ignoring all the little red squiggles appearing among his words. It doesn't take him long to slow down, though, and he gives up and passes the laptop to Ben. Rodrick’s mind is cloudy. He’s thinking about that girl at the bar. You’d been so… mean. But not? Did you like him? He doesn’t get it.

Heather Hills had made it incredibly clear she did not like him. In fact, she hates him.

He remembers the last day of senior year. He’d handed her a Löded Diper CD, masterfully engineered by the man himself in GarageBand, and asked her to sign his yearbook.

Are you being serious right now? You still owe me for my ice sculpture, pleb!

Oh, uh, right, he’d replied, how much is that again?

Four. Thousand. Dollars. And you’ll never make that much in your life, freak.

He grimaces as the memory infects his brain. Four thousand seemed like a lot for just some ice. He remembers fantasizing, though, about getting signed and nailing down a solid deal. Reimbursing Heather for the sculpture and so much more. Maybe she’d marry him. Hot rockstar with a hot, blonde trophy wife. That had been the dream. Until…

Well. Don’t focus on the past. The past sucks. The future is now.

“Rodrick!” Ben’s hand shakes his shoulder.

“Sorry. Um. I don’t know. I think it’s pretty good!”

Between the bones he had put down, and some additions from the guys, they have what they think is a pretty kickass email.

Rodrick’s mind is still elsewhere, though. The thoughts of Heather had kind of messed with him, and now he’s just thinking about home. He hadn't left on great terms. He really wishes everything could be better. The only support system he has is the band, but they don't talk about that kind of stuff. Not more than once in a blue moon.

He’s where he wants to be and everything. He's living his dream. But something still feels wrong. He feels a little empty.

So one of many parts of me explaining my sims HC's of how the sims universe is

Part One The Timeline

So Sims 3 is messy in the timeline because different worlds take place at different times so that will be noted when needed

The Sims 4 is similar in difficulty but also different because" it's an AU" so the Sims 4 is taken lightly on the timeline with parts that will be built upon later in explanation posts

the baseline of years are also based of the constant characters of the goths and the fact that sims 2 came out in 2004

-Sims 3 Twinbrook- between 1900-1910(The Curious brothers grandfather was a toddler)

-The Sims 3-Late 1950s-Early 60s

-Sims 3 Monte Vista, Roaring Heights -Late 60s-early 70s(The Montys and Capps are still young and growing a there families)

-Sims 3 Midnight Hollow, Lucky Palms, Moonlight falls-Mid 70s-early 80s(The Summerdreams are young adults, The Dreamers are young adults, Nervous Subject is a toddler)

-Sims 3 Aurora Skies -Some time during the early 80s (The Beaker siblings are alive and Loki is a child)

-The Sims 1- the late 80s-early 90s(The goths are adults and Cassy is a young child with out her brother Alex)

-Sims 3 Sunlit Tide-between 1986-1988( I know this is really specific but if the pleasant twins are between 14-16 in 2004 they had to be born between 1988-1990 and Mary-Sue and Daniel are on their honeymoon in Sunlit Tide. This also takes into account the theory that if The Sims 1 had a teen life stage Daniel would have been a teenager.)

-The sims 4 Horse Ranch and Cottage Living-Mid 90s-Late 90s (I put these two together earlier than The Sims 4 because Mortimer's aunt Agnus and her "Dead Husband" are elders)

-Sims 3 Dragon Valley-Mid 90s(John and Jennifer Burb are unmarried and Lucy isn't born yet)

-The Sims 2- 2004-05 (This is the baseline year with Bella being abducted in the Summer of 04 and then I am guessing the events of The Sims 2 take place between Summer 04 and then Summer 05 given the handful of pregnancies we know of and the fact that Seasons start in the winter with the exception of the Greenman who start the next spring)

-The Sims 4- the 2010s-Present ( Look at the game and tell me you don't think it takes place in the 2010s it might just be the fault of the game being stuck in 2014 in style)

-Sims 3 Lunar Lake- 2020s ( I just feel like its the vibe of Lunar Lakes plus if Mathilde Goth is the third goth child that would have had to be born after Belles abduction in the 2000s she would be a young adult now pretty much )

The Sims 4: My Wedding Stories- In My Wedding Stories Arnessa Thebe talks about how she misses her Aunt Queen and Uncle Eetion. And how her and her dad{Queen's Brother} would visit them time to time when she was a kid. So this just creates a wired gap I have yet to figure out yet.

Princess Cordelia Thebe- So still being on my Thebes issue. In the sims 4 in text it suggest that Princess Cordelia lived at least 100 or so before the events of the sims 4. But Arnessa is referred to as her Descendant which to me suggests more than 5 generations But I think that maybe Arnessa is like her great-great granddaughter. because in 100 year you don't really get decedents you get great-great grandkids. Maybe Cordelia never got to meet if she was older and had a kid or two.

If you read this whole thing WOW. If your wondering what I am on to come up with this much of a sims everything timeline my answer is hyperfixation and Cherry Slush Alani. I think its wild this is just my like baseline timeline to without any like actual headcanons besides estimated ages.

Spring, Year 1

John Burb's impromptu park picnic turned a routine afternoon into a feast of fun for the Burb kids. As hotdogs grilled and horseshoes clinked, John's dad-ly charm transformed the local park into their backyard adventure. Ever the cool preteen, Lucy balanced her amusement with obligatory eye rolls while little Kody's glee was as boundless as his appetite for play. Unexpectedly, cousin Lilith crashed the party, adding her own flair to the familial shenanigans. Together, they painted a picture of Pleasantview life — simple, joyful, and ordinary.

How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? at the very beginning of playing ts2 (as an adult), there were very few clay hairs so i had some alpha poppet hairs. you could find the find screenshots on this blog lol, but then i gave clay a try and never looked back. there are some cute alpha hairs that are very chef kiss too, don't get me wrong!

[a long character origins story and a bonus art under the cut]

...when I was a wee lad, my parents gifted me a copy of the freshly released Sims 3 World Adventures for my birthday. They really did great with that one, because I liked The Sims, I liked cool shiny trinkets, and I liked being in places I totally shouldn't be in. WA and I? Yeah, we really hit it off.

I had this badass tomb raiding lady character, and it was a great couple of weeks, but I was still a little lad with very limited patience and attention span, so I never finished the tombs in full and never got to finishing them in the later years. The character, however, stayed with me, turned into a proper OC and morphed unrecognizably over time (which really did her good, truth be told).

Fast forward to the last couple of years. I met @bunnybananasims (hiii, I know you've been waiting), we were sharing a server, and her numerous Capps and fabulous Burbs were having quite a ball in some old moldy crypts. That's when it hit me. I'd never finished WA! My most favorite Sims EP of all times!

But my birthday was fast approaching, and is there a better way to get the sweet sweet gaming closure, than to return to the game you first played on your birthday... for your birthday? Moreover, is there a better candidate for this tomb-raiding job than the OC that sprung from the original candidate?..

And this is where Jo came in. She's really been with me for a good dozen of years, and now she's been back to where she started to give me comfort and childhood nostalgia. I like her a lot. I think we'd be great friends, were she a real human person.

I have completed a full year in my Megahood! (Pleasantview and Strangetown + universities)

This is part 2 of my Megahood update! Part 1 covered Pleasantview. (Apologizes for bad screenshot quality)

I will be going in order of the screenshots, but this is not the order I play in!

Smith: Johnny is very high in the Music career, and he has the LTW of becoming a Rock God. He moved in with Ophelia after he aged up to an adult. Ophelia is doing okay in the Law Enforcement career, and has the LTW of becoming Captain Hero. Neither of them went to university, and got married very quickly. The couple ended up having twins, Quincy and Rosalie. Rosalie is a lot like both of her parents while Quincy is more like his uncle Pascal.

Loste/Curious: On their first date, Kristen got pregnant from Lazlo. Lazlo just moved in, and the couple are unmarried but they’re engaged. Kristen is one level away from mastering the Athletic career and completing her LTW of becoming a Hall of Famer. While Lazlo is still a few levels away from reaching the top of the Science career, his LTW is to become a Mad Scientist. Their twins, Valerie and Weston are still babies, but are very close to aging up to toddlers.

Curious/Beaker: Erin still lives with Chole and her wife Nikki. With no sign of having the family she wanted, Erin is high in the Culinary career and close to completing her LTW of being a Celebrity Chef. Chole is a serial romancer, but she fell in love with Nikki and got married after their 3rd date. Chole is only half way through the Slacker career with the LTW of being a Professional Party Guest. While her wife, Nikki, is also in the Slacker career and has the same LTW. Sadly Nikki can only do part-time Slacker so she’ll never complete her LTW.

Curious: Pascal convinced Nervous to move in so he could escape the Beakers. Pascal had his alien baby, Celeste, and the couple adopted Barbara as a toddler soon after. Pascal is at the top of the Science career and completed his LTW of becoming a Mad Scientist. Nervous is unemployed, he never had a want for a career, and has the LTW of reaching Golden Anniversary. Celeste is the unborn Curious baby, she’s now a teenager and is dating Easton Burb. She’s a lot like her dad and her uncles, except she wants to go into the Natural Scientist career when she’s an adult. Barbara just aged up to a teenager, she has dreams of becoming a Game Designer.

Smith: Pollination recently passed away, leaving his widow Jenny Smith to raise their son, Jayden. Jenny isn’t doing well in the Medical career, but she completed her LTW of reaching Golden Anniversary. Jayden is the youngest out of the Smith children, looking a lot like his father. He’s the black sheep of the family.

Beaker: Loki wanted a large family, but Circe was only able to get pregnant twice. Loki maxed the Science career and completed his LTW of becoming a Mad Scientist. While on the other hand, Circe is still a few levels away from reaching the top of the Medical career, and hasn’t completed her LTW of becoming the Chief of Staff. Their oldest daughter, Fiona, is just like her mother, she even joined the part-time Medical career so she can follow her mother’s footsteps. While Iris is more focused on tormenting her peers at school.

Loner: Ajay and Lola are just living a classic white picket fence family life with their two daughters. Ajay mastered the Oceanography career and finished his LTW of being the Hand of Poseidon. Lola is very high up in the Law career, and is very close to completing her LTW of Becoming the Law. The eldest daughter, Kendra, is just a child. She loves playing in the pool and catching butterflies. While the youngest, Udella, is a toddler and is busy conquering the potty.

Grunt: Buzz is just a creepy old man, thirsting over university girls. He’s at the top of the Military career, but has yet to complete his LTW of Earning 100k. Tank is the eldest of the Grunt boys, he followed in his fathers footsteps by going into the Military career as well, his LTW is to Become General. He’s also dating the much younger Jill Smith. When Buck aged into an adult, his high school girlfriend, Ivy Copur moved in. Buck is just starting out in the Politics career, and has the LTW of Becoming Mayor. Buck quickly proposed to Ivy after finding out the couple is expecting their first baby very soon. Ivy is in the Law Enforcement career, yet her LTW is to become a Media Magnate.

Smith: Jill Smith lives alone in a 1 bedroom apartment, she’s hoping Tank will move in with her and help bring in some money. She’s in the Culinary career for now, but her LTW is to be the Hand of Poseidon.

Grunt: Ripp and his high school sweetheart, Tosha, went to university together where they got engaged. Their apartment is cramped, but full of love. Ripp is doing okay in the Gamer career, and has the LTW of becoming a Game Designer. Tosha is in the Dance career with the LTW of Having 6 Grandchildren. Scott is the oldest out of the two kids, much like his mother he loves nature. He plays in the apartment complex's playground with Hesper Curious. The newest addition of the family, Zoey, is just a little baby.

Curious: Vidcund got pregnant from an alien abduction, having his daughter Hesper. When Hesper was just a toddler, he met La Shawn and fell in love. The small family of 3 moved into an apartment together and quickly had their own baby together, Yvette. Vidcund is doing very well in the Science career, and like his brothers he has the LTW of becoming a Mad Scientist. La Shawn is low in the Culinary career, and has the LTW of becoming a Celebrity Chef. Hesper, the daughter of Vidcund and an alien, is a very smart child. She has no time for nonsense, but she enjoys playing with Scott Grunt. Yvette is the newest member of the family, she’s the only child of Vidcund and La Shawn.
