Are you planning on writing anymore poly mc?

I'll be honest.

I've been studying for my Master's degree, and it sucks up all of my energy, so any creative energy that I do have either goes into drawing or into a more recent fandom of mine.

Unfortunately this means this account has been extremely neglected for a while.

I do still have some works I want to continue (primarily Sister's Keeper and Deaf MC) but with how things are, I can't make any guarantees for when that will happen

Dia Claus - Christmas Crack

So hear me out. Diavolo finding out about Christmas after MC returns to the human world and pulling a Jack Skellington.

Man fully dresses up like Santa, gathers as many "presents" aka normal Devildom items that can and will kill or harm a mortal being, and appears at MC's house.

He will go down their chimney. And if they don't have a chimney, then he is going to magic one into existence because he has to be the best Santa, MC, you don't understand.

Meanwhile, MC is just trying to get some sleep before the craziness of Christmas day and they start hearing some CRAZY loud clanging on their roof and in their house and- holy fucking shit. Are they getting robbed?

They come down as Dia is eating the cookies they left out and gawking at the ornaments like, well, a child on Christmas.

Unfortunately, they round the corner at the same time Dia does, and since MC is wasn't going to just face an intruder unarmed, Dia ends up on the ground shouting with pepper spray in his eyes.

As an apology, he and the others get invited over in the morning for a proper Christmas breakfast and Dia is through the roof (though not literally this time.)

Where I Can't Follow

***We had this moment that just happened in one of my D&D campaigns that I think would make such an amazing moment with Barbatos and MC time traveling (hinestly now that I think of it, similar to the Nightbringer premis) that kinda goes like this:***

This was an opportunity you had never expected to get.

To witness the falling of the brothers. To see them so shattered. So vulnerable. So heartbroken.

But Barbatos had gifted it to you — though with great difficulty due to the finality in the nature of this specific event and its inability to be altered. The deal was he'd come with you, you'd watch from afar and then bith quckly leave. In and out.

You came in, as planned. You witnessed, as planned. And now ...

Barbatos approached a door and opened it, the shimmering teal presence of his magic cloaking its doorway. He looked back at your still and solemn self and gave you a sad smile. "Come now, MC. We can have some tea and talk this all through back at the castle. I can't hold this for much longer."

You nodded silently and stepped up behind him as he began to go through, but then you paused, looking back down the lath you had come from.

The brothers ... you had never witnessed so much pain in them. Their cries. Their screams. It was almost too much to bare.

You remembered the many times they had told you how thankful they were for your presence in the Devildom. About the peace and joy you brought their family.

A very stupid, very dumb plan began to sink itself into your brain.

Barbatos stilled as you tensed and looked up. He gritted his teeth, trying his best to keep the doorway open. "MC, you have to go through the door now."

You paused, looking back at the desperate eyes of your dear friend, then back to the path. You took a deep breath as more and more certainty began to trickle in your brain.

You took a step away from the portal.

"I can't go through."

Barbatos' eyes widened, and he moved as much as he dared partially out of the portal. "MC, you can't stay here. You can't help them in this time -"

"I have to try," you mumbled, taking another step back.

A curse rings from Barbatos as his demon bursts out, and he forces the portal to stay open. "You will die if you stay here. MC, come on!"

You look at him one more time, and Barbatos' expression falls as he sees the look on your face. That stupid mixture of boldness and determination. He already knows it's too late.

You shake your head, moving further back as you walk backward. "Im sorry. I'll find a way back when I can. I have to do something about this!" And without another word, you turn around and start running — the sounds of Barbatos shouting your name and the portal forcing itself shut slowly fading behind you.

Instead, you run. You run and run and run towards the maddened, shattered fragments of the brothers you oh so adore with a new mission locked in your heart.
