I’m happy to say that even though it was a busy year I did complete it and kept on reading a few more books 🥳 💌 What is your 2023 reading goal? This year it’s gonna be 50 but I’m hoping to read a few more again🤞🏻😄 💌 which book/book series do you want to read? I just received “The final girl support group” by Grady Hendrix so I’m very excited to get into that one🔪 💌 2023 five star prediction? I heard about “old babes in the woods” by Margaret Atwood and of course I think that’s gonna be a five star read cause that woman only knows how to write a five star book (according to me, anyways). 💌 Books you want to re-read? Good evening from the UK 🇬🇧 everyone and hope you’re all doing okay. Today I thought I’d join in with the #bookstagramtag which I saw on the lovely @tillylovesbooks page. Here we go! When did you start your bookstagram? 18th August 2015 according to IG! Why did you start a bookstagram? To be honest it was probably because I missed the wonderful community and the interactions with bookish folk but didn’t want the pressure of blogging. I’m really glad I carried it on! What inspired your user name? It’s the name I used for my blog, I wanted a bookish reference and bibliobeth seemed to go together quite nicely ☺️ What was the first review you ever posted? Oh dear, I dread to think! On my blog it was Boy by Roald Dahl. Favourite part of bookstagram Easy peasy - the people. I’ve made friends for life, had unforgettable buddy reads and heard about books that I wouldn’t usually come across. Bookstagram made me buy… EVERYTHING. And I’m not joking 🤣 What is your favourite bookstagram tag? Probably obvious to those who know me well but easily #bookhaul it’s my most used anyway 🙈 What is your bookstagram aesthetic? Here’s where I get a bit embarrassed - I don’t really have one! 🫢 I use my tub chair for hauls as it’s a pretty material, I love using candles and plants and try to take pics outside wherever possible. I see so many amazing bookstagrammers doing incredible things but I don’t think I have the creativity or the patience, what you see is what you get with me! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Recent faves? Even though I have been posting on my stories and checking out everyone else's posts, I just realized that I haven't posted in 2 weeks. #QOTD Do you agree with the quote? 📚 📚 Be warned, this caption is going to be long but it's coming straight from my heart. Today I was finally able to visit the library after more than 4 months. Even though they had opened on 15th, I was not able to go since children are not allowed entry yet. So I had to wait till my husband had an off day from work. This particular quote is so true. I had an amazing experience today. We are required to inform the library in advance the books that we need to check out. Entry to aisles are not open yet. So the books we want will be waiting for us when we reach. Unfortunately, my son's membership had expired last month and so I couldn't request any book for him in advance. He was disappointed when I told him I will not be bringing back any books for him. I was able to renew the membership by sending an email while I was at the library. I didn't want to go back without any books for my son. So I checked the library's website and wrote down the call number for two books. When I asked the librarian whether she can get those books for me, she immediately said she will do her best. There was only half hour left and she already had other work. She took my number and said she will give a call when she has the books. After around 20 mins, she called me. When I went back to the counter, she explained to me that the books I had asked for were not on the shelf. But she has taken 3 other books which she thought my son would enjoy. I was truly amazed. She could have just told me that the books were not there. But she took the extra effort to make sure I was not leaving disappointed. My son has already started reading the first book and he is enjoying them.
