The most satisfying feeling ever is when you have such an elaborate idea and have a hard time finding a title that really emulates the vibe you’re trying to convey and then you have an epiphany with the perfect set of words and it just works.
Love my brain sometimes. Wishing I could smooch my cranium fr.

true crime writer!reader moves to a new city, unable to ignore the series of mysterious disappearances of students from an elite university. Ivy League students who come from rich families with big names and reputations, gone without a trace, how peculiar. me thinks you know where I’m going with this… 🥸 cop!/agent!Ari isn’t as good as he seems 🫡 (READ THE TAGS HEHE)

The glitch happens when someone lies with the INTENTION to deceive someone.
Think about it.
When Sam said he didn't care about the magnus institute , glitch, of course it is an obvious lie and we, Alice, everyone can see it but that doesn't matter. what matters is that it was said to deceive Alice. To make her think he no longer cares.
But when Alice told Gwen that she knows who is behind all this ,NO glitch, because even if she does know something or even doesn't, that doesn't matter. what matters is that she said it with the intention to make a joke, not with the intention to make Gwen believe her in any way. not with the intend to deceive her, just to make fun of her.
(If I am right, then that means that whatever is listening is more active than when the web was listening in tapes in archives. Sure the web was meddling the whole time but it wasn't this obvious! That doesn't matter tho because I can't think of what it might mean.)

My dearest
I've missed you very, very much since that last night we were together
And will hold that night especially in my memories for years to come
I've been turning it over and over in my mind lately
I've read your letter through at least four times
And will probably read it more times before I'm through
I've been sitting here, looking at your picture
And getting more homesick every minute
I've wanted that picture more than anything else I know of
Except of course, you yourself
I keep thinking of you darling
Keep wishing I could be home with you
I want to leave in the worse possible way so I can come home to see you
But, things don't look so good in that subject
This war has spoiled a lot of things for everyone I guess
I've never been so lonesome in my life as I am right now
I'm completely lost without you darling
I never realized I could even miss any one person so much
I just hope it won't be too much longer till I'm able to be with you again
And live a sane and normal life

what gets me about the shadow/maria dynamic is that it takes the trope of "weak helpless girl dies for a tragic plot device" and subverts it
Maria wasn't helpless in her fate. She did have a choice. Shadow would have been strong enough to protect them both (Where else could they even go? Would he need to hurt someone?) but instead she made a choice to protect Shadow.
Shadow's story isn't tragic because he failed to protect Maria and now spends the rest of his life tormented over it. Shadow's story is tragic because he is the strongest creature alive, but raw power isn't always enough, and his loving friend made a sacrifice to let him go hoping she was giving him a chance to learn compassion because she was strong!
Maria's purpose isn't that she's a weak little girl who dies. Maria's legacy is that she protects the strongest creature alive, and teaches it the strength of love.
Her character gives the moment purpose, not the other way around. Her willingness to die so he can go free, asking him to use his strength to protect the people of Earth, despite everything. It's her proof of love that gives Shadow's burden that kind of extreme weight. Shadow will live forever and with so much limitless power, would life be easy to discard without a second thought? Not Maria's. Not when she asked him to protect it. That weight will remind him, always.

so I had a Big Brain Moment...
had this been done? I don't think it has
there's so much more I couldn't fit. so much more. feel free to expand on this (or make it look better)
other things:
since avatar is based off of Asian culture technically zuko also helped save China
all could be seen as an lgbt allegory
mulan and zuko both fighting for their honor (why didn't I think of that sooner, it's so obvious!)
atla had the kyoshi warriors and mulan fought with a fan
atla and mulan both had a strong woman having men to do drag
all have fairly recognizable voices
all at some point had talking animals (mushu, aang's sleep deprivation hallucinations scene)
zuko and mulan both had pivotal hair cutting scenes
all of them being physically different than others in some way (po being the only panda at first and being made fun of for being fat, mulan being a woman warrior, zuko and his scar) (this along with other things fits into the lgbt allegory idea)
badass old men (iroh and bumi, oogway and shifu, the emperor)
po and mulan both meet flower symbolism (the peach tree vs the cherry blossom tree)
atla and kung-fu panda both have turtles/tortoises as wise figures
mulan and zuko both wear badass clothes
all underdogs who eventually earn the respect of pretty much everyone in their stories
zuko and po both being the comic relief at some point
zuko and po both joining an already well-established team and feeling left out at first (the gaang, the furious five)
shifu and iroh both essentially losing a son but in wildly different ways
lotus symbolism (po's birth name being little lotus, iroh's white lotus group, again the flower blooming quote for mulan)
mulan and po being bowed to by someone higher up than them (the emperor, shifu)
