This is from John Dory's chapter, when Branch was born, it was a quick sketch

And this is what Captive Branch (possessive brozone x Tangled) looks like

Each braid of yarn represents one of the brothers

Floyd gave her an identical earring, so they will match (because Branch is very close to Floyd, since Floyd spends more time in the tree with him)

The bandage is an attempt to replicate John Dory's glove (if JD wears his glove in this Au, he had an accident and it was Branch's "fault", so John Dory is kind of like Branch's idol or hero)

The glasses are to hide his dark circles a little, because although he has a lot of free time and has nothing to do, he has insomnia problems so he does not sleep, since he does other things, and as he is alone during the nights his brothers do not know that he is staying up late

He wears overalls because it's cold in the tree (he has a chimney don't worry), also because it's inherited clothes, and Branch is thinner than his brothers so the pants are too big for him, that's why the suspenders are usually sewn and don't match.

Same As The Day I Lost You

I...

This came to me as I'm making dinner so I'll be quick.

What if we mix deaged Danny and twin/older sibling (either one works) Damian, AND he gets tossed to his sibling in a last minute escape.

Like what if he was fighting Vlad who was doing his whole "denounce your father and join me as my son Daniel!" Thing while in the Zone and knocks Danny into something that's floating in the Zone with the ability to deage or was hit by a new Fenton or Plasmius invention while fighting in town that accidentally deages him.

Danny, who in this was adopted, gets put back to the age of six. The same age he had been found by Jazz in a 'haunted' forest Jack and Maddie were visiting/investigating while also using that time as a family vacation. (They were shocked to see a little boy with a stab wound bleeding out and rushed him to the nearby town, almost completely forgetting about the glowing green tiny puddle they found nearby and bagged most of it as evidence when they heard Jazz's scream of terror over finding the hurt little boy)

The sudden revert into that traumatized age, along with the child response to a fight or flight scenario, and add Danny's deepest need/wish to be protected his child fogged mind wishes to go to the one person who always made him feel safe.

His twin/older brother.

Just as quick as it was with Danny being turned into a child, his ghost powers ripped open a portal and sent Danny to the person he wants to be with...

Only he didn't know that right at that moment his seventeen year old twin/older brother is currently fighting the League with his family's help (his mother was trying to convince him to return to the League and be it's heir) in Nanda Parbat (the very place Damian lost the last/only person he knew loved him without any strings attached.)

So imagine everyone's face when a portal opened up, some muttering its a new pit being formed before them or something, and crawling out of it is a very scared and confused six year old Danny.

This is just my own interpretation, and I very much do not say that other reads are wrong or that people shouldn't write romantic/sexual qijiu fic, which I've read plenty of and is great, but

I think it's also valid to read Yue Qingyuan and Shen Jiu's relationship as being neither romantic nor sexual

they are still 100% each other's most precious person but in an entirely platonic way. This read to me mostly comes from the fact that their bond -- which was so strong that the splintering of it kicked off a sequence of events that led to the downfall of their sect and arguably to the end of the world -- formed in their childhood on the streets, before either of them had gone through puberty. And, critically, although they met again when they became teenagers and then adults, their relationship never advanced in any kind of positive direction after that.

I don't think Shen Qingqiu was Yue Qingyuan's white moonlight, or the one he got away. I think he was the one he couldn't save, and the inability to save him hollowed Yue Qingyuan out. It was a wound that was inflicted early enough that it took up half his world, and only grew as he did. I think you don't have to be romantically or sexually interested in someone to love them enough to be willing to die for them.

I think you can get a valid read of the situation that Yue Qi and Shen Jiu's relationship was never romantic, let alone sexual.

imagining the story from pei ming's perspective is rlly funny i think. this god from all that time ago ascends again (you were there for the first two times) and immediately waltzes into a situation that fucks something up for your descendant (putting both of your reputations on the line, messing up how hard your descendant worked to become a god and how hard you worked to ensure that he would have that chance) and then refuses to let you smooth the situation out and on TOP of that your friend's little sister (who hates you and who you are trying to look out for by request of your friend) is on your case about it too. so you've gotta work all that out and then like. you chill for a little bit (still kind of upset about your descendant) until your friend undergoes a heavenly calamity. and then in the space of like A Day the god from earlier shows up again with a fucking ghost king, your friend dies, the little sister you're supposed to be looking out for disappears, and everything just kinda goes to shit. so you're like. grieving. trying to process everything. until your OTHER close friend goes off the fucking rails with the spirit of that guy she murdered, and then you get called out to the spooky ghost mountain where you're confronted with the girl whose death YOU were essentially responsible for and have never really come to terms with, and then like. you just kind of hang out with these gay people until everything resolves itself. fight some ghosts. fight the heavenly emperor. get your friend to stop being evil for a little while so she can fix the filing systems. and then you just have to keep being the god of love i guess

Soooo I've been reading your AMAZING FIC Beloved Little Brother, and I'm curious. About the significance of Branch feeling cold to the touch, both as an egg and as an adult?

Like as an adult I could argue it's due to his substantial time being grey, but why even as an egg?

Well for when it's an egg, it's easy mostly because eggs need heat to hatch, if the egg is too cold for too long, it means that the baby or the hatchling inside died, so it's mostly that the egg is cold (I plan to give more context to that later, because it's important).

And if his coldness to the touch goes back a long time to the time that Branch was gray, but it was emphasized by the import for the brothers because they remember that Branch when he was a baby was warm, you know that kind of warmth that reminds you of the I congratulate you, and if Branch can be happy, I have this headcannon for the trolls, when they're cold means they're not happy or comfortable with the other trolls around them, Branch feels warm to his friends, Poppy and Kismet, because he trusts them.

He loves his siblings but isn't comfortable enough with them yet, so when he becomes warm to the touch with them, it will be the signal to Brozone that his little brother has come back to seeing them as a safe place.

(he also reminds them that he almost died when he was an egg, of course Branch doesn't know that)

Woke up today to some wild jjk leaks and it turns out Gege is hitting that Hamlet type beat with some uncle-nephew drama with Sukuna and Yuuji? Like what?
