New smoker has arrived! It has some attractive little details to it but hopefully it functions as beautifully as it looks. ☺️ My old smoker is a pretty standard design but has always been a bit naff; doesn't stay lit very well, and has rusted very quickly. One of my mentees has a smoker designed like the new one and I found it worked so much better! In the spirit of making my life easier (and not being so cheap!), I decided to buy one and give it a go. 2. Basically Helmut but a Teddy Bear who grown roots like a seed into a Helmut with no pupils. The one he’s holding is a gift, Lucy made for him based on his drawing.

3. I think Pork chopper use to have normal pig hands. But after a knife accident he lost his hands and ears. He can still hear things without them but he got hand prosthetics that look like lego hands.

Ever wondered why beekeepers use smoke when working with bees? Bees communicate in a variety of ways, one being scent. When smoke is puffed into a hive, it disrupts and overpowers the natural pheromones in a hive. It also triggers the bees to go into somewhat of a survival mode and gorge on honey, which distracts them away from the beekeeper. Finally, as the bees fill up on honey, they become "honey-drunk" and typically a bit more docile.
