Saying that a POC fan is "hyper aware" for bringing up valid concerns about Taylor's track record on race issues is a microagression in itself and part of the kind of behaviour that makes POC fans feel alienated in her fandom.
I’m sorry - all I meant was that a fan of color would be more wary of or sensitive to these things being issues than a white person because it’s related to things they actively deal with; as an LGBT person I would literally say about myself that I’m hyper aware of anything pushing on an LGBT issue compared to most. It wasn’t meant to be at all!

Reasons Kanej is very important to me
AKA my Ace manifesto
Most romance in media is very physical/sex driven, so as a sex repulsed asexual with sensitivities to touch and skin to skin contact, that can get very irritating. Partially because I just don't like to watch it, but also because I can't relate to it at all. It's completely foreign to me. And as someone who can tend to be very influenced by what I watch/read, having physical intimacy hyped in that way can be very misleading. Physical attraction/intimacy is ultimately hollow and isn't sustainable long term if that's all your relationship is based on, and if you're seeing those kinds of relationships portrayed as successful and fulfilling than you would expect it to be the same in real life... which will ultimately lead to a lot of confusion and disappointment. It's very easy to write a relationship just for sex appeal, or pair two actors together because they're attractive; and chances are most people will be satisfied by that.
But that's not love... that's attraction. The media has blurred the difference between those words, so young people growing up with TV and social media are being told that sexual and physical attraction is love, when, in reality, it is just that, attraction and lust.
Real love can include those elements, but it certainly doesn't have to. Real love is about emotional connection, it's about knowing and caring about each other. It's so much deeper than simply thinking someone is attractive or wanting physical intimacy with them. And there are so many more ways that people experience love and romance than just sex, and that is rarely shown in media.
That is why Kanej means so much to me. They're not just another couple that fits the societal "standard" for romance. Their relationship is built on trust, friendship, understanding one another, and wanting the best for the other. All things that are sustainable, the things that really matter. And I know both characters have expressed a desire for a more intimate, physical relationship, but I believe they can have a perfectly fulfilling relationship without that. And while I do absolutely want them to heal from their traumas, I do not think that means they have to be touchy or have a sexual relationship. I would love to see them heal enough to be comfortable in close proximity to each other, to hold hands, maybe even share a kiss; but I don't think they need those things to be a healthy couple, and I don't think that achieving that comfort is the only way they can heal.
In conclusion, despite kanej not being a canonically ace couple, I feel represented by them, I feel my experiences are seen and validated. They give me hope that should I ever desire a romantic relationship, it is possible to find one that I can be comfortable in, that doesn't require physical intimacy to be healthy and long lasting. I adore Kanej, and I will protect them at all costs.

Not sure who else to ask so. We know jedi aren't celibate, they can fuck all they want. Presumably this would result in at least some pregnancies within the order. Do we know what happens to the kid after a jedi gives birth?
Presumably they won't be able to raise the kid, they'll have duties in the order and a parent would likely get attached to their kid, so I imagine they'd be sent to be adopted?
Hi! There's not much touching on this in canon (and nothing from Lucas-level canon), the only instance I can think of is from Dooku: Jedi Lost where a Jedi becomes pregnant and her child is Force-sensitive, so she gives him to the creche anonymously to be adopted. Ultimately, this results in her misusing her position to protect him, including hiding a lot of his mistakes and fuck-ups in a way that puts the Jedi Order in danger from the Hutts and it's a shitshow all the way around because of how she went about it. So, it seems like ultimately the Jedi have a choice--if you want to have a traditional biological family (instead of the communal family the Jedi see themselves as, it's just not the same structure as the Western nuclear family), then that's a perfectly valid choice, but because of a Jedi's position and granted authority, they can't walk both paths, that marriage and individual children are something they sacrifice. Lucas talks about this in a positive light, that those things are wonderful, but to be a Jedi, to have a clear mind and focus in the Force and to be selfless enough to help the galaxy, it's the path they must walk. If a Jedi gets pregnant (or gets someone else pregnant), if the child is Force-sensitive, they have the option to let the creche adopt the child, but they won't directly raise them, the child will be raised the same way all the other adopted children are raised--communally. (I'm guessing that this doesn't actually happen that often, I don't think it makes sense that Force-sensitive is inherently a genetic trait, that the Skywalkers were the exception, as literal Force babies, rather than the rule.) But if the Jedi wants to leave to raise the child, then that's a perfectly respectable path as well, the Jedi have busts in their library to show that that path is an option and one they speak warmly of. One of the natural conclusions of why the Jedi don't individually raise children (aside from the theme of selflessness and sacrifice for their cherished, wonderful purpose) it also makes sense because genetic lineages within the Jedi could lead to dynasties so fast. Imagine Anakin on the Council and Luke and Leia as Jedi younglings. Could he really be objective about being fair to them versus some other child that isn't his biological child? How easy would it be, once they were grown, and so powerful and talented, to put them on the Council, too? And suddenly you have a full quarter of the Council as Skywalkers. Oh, and now there's Ben, who is also incredibly powerful. Suddenly you have a dynasty within the Jedi Order and it's unbalanced and no longer objective. So, basically, my feeling is: - If a Jedi has a child, they have the choice of whether to leave or not, but they won't raise the child themselves for all the above reasons - If the child is Force-sensitive, the creche would likely adopt them, but they'd have to be careful not to show favoritism (which can really fuck over a lot of people) - If the child is not Force-sensitive, the other parent would likely decide what should happen with them or else be adopted by Coruscant social services

Because it’s been going around, here’s my two cents on the whole armpit shaving sensory issues thing:
A few years ago, I stopped shaving my pits, mainly bc my sibling, who had come out as nonbinary recently, had stopped, and we were discussing a lot about gender presentation and societal gender roles. In general, with my PCOS, I’m a hairy girl, and it was exhausting sometimes to try and keep up with the thick dark growth I was dealing with on my pits and legs. So I stopped. (I also switched from antiperspirant to deodorant, which is a whole other Thing but suffice to say I learned No, I need antiperspirant, bc deodorant alone will just allow my natural sweat levels to occur and that leads to chafing. Also I think using Old Spice caused bluish black stains on all my shirts?? Another mystery to be solved later.)
I am a cis woman, and I like to wear shirts that are a little tighter and more tailored for a cis feminine frame, meaning the arm holes are cut closer to under the armpit than unisex or male shirts. (Side note: this is how tumblr back in the 20teens so scientifically realized that loose/unisex shirts can be pulled off by grasping the back of the neck and tugging, where tighter-cut shirts are easier to take off by grabbing the bottom hem and lifting, but I greatly digress.) What I began to notice after a few months of going au naturale with the pits is that my armpits felt sensitive and tender. I thought maybe I was caking on too much deodorant and then antiperspirant (valid), or sweating too much, but I eventually figured it out—with the tighter shirts I like, there’s more pressure on the pits, and with my lush underarm mane, there was actually weight on the follicles that caused the pressure to be uncomfortable, almost painful.
It was either trim the pit hair, or buy new shirts. I know which one is more cost effective for me.
I don’t know how common an experience this is for others, but it was my conclusion. (In addition, I keep my leg hair shaved more or less a couple times a month bc of similar discomfort of long leg hair with tight pants, or long leg hair against sheets, so. Huh. Sensory discomfort.) And it’s valuable to me to have had that experience, because now I know I’m keeping up with my shaving not because “I’m a girl and I have to because I’m a Girl”, but because “this causes literal discomfort for me that I prefer to avoid when necessary.” All the support and kudos to folks who grow their body hair out! Rock it! I am with you as far as I can stand it on myself! And how about we practice some compassion and common decency and stop shaming people for what they do or don’t do with their bodies?

“They needed something juicy cuz dwd is failing at the box office and Olivia isn’t getting jobs anymore. Harry wasn’t mentioned in these “texts” deliberately as him and his team wouldn’t allow it.”
🌌 Odd, too, how this just DrOoPeD on a Monday. Not rAnDoM timing at all. Monday. The same day Holivia held media frenzy with their debut, and then when yachgate happened. But you all know that isn’t calculated.
*Gasps* None of them would co-conspire with the press to capture the GP’s attention because a project is shit, and careers/reputations are in jeopardy. Instead of working and educating oneself, they rely on shallow drama to generate interest. Also some of them, too, suffer with a paralyzing need for attention and validation. That’s such a low cardinal sin for the ones who supposedly life a “IDGAF” about what people think lifestyle. 😑
Like two smart anons reasoned yesterday: Isn’t it a violation of client’s confidential for a therapist to divulge sensitive information to another who later on repeats it to the press? Wouldn’t she be facing penalties from the board? According to the California State Board Rule 3-100(yes I researched our law because if its truthful it will align with reality), “ Disclosure of confidential information must be no more than is reasonably necessary to prevent the criminal act. Under paragraph (D), disclosure of confidential information, when made, must be no more extensive than the member reasonably believes necessary to prevent the criminal act.” In short, only if Olivia or Jason posed a threat to committing criminal law the therapist HAD NO REASON TO DISCLOSE her findings to the nanny. But you know in Holivia’s Land, the rules of law and common sense don’t exist.
Guess Harry should be worried now. His therapist might be tempted to share the tidbits he’s shared with her privately since “therapists” are now abandoning protocols without fear of consequences. Also, if people are to believe this article of the therapist’s “findings of Olivia’s addiction to Harry”…. Why wasn’t this factored into the judge’s decision when he “granted her custody”? The therapist would had needed to submit ALL her notes of Jolivia’s past counseling sessions she mediated over, as they are testimonies of their living situation, and individual evaluations of Olivia and Jason’s cognitive abilities. It surely would had detailed Olivia’s “addictive behavior” and destructive mentality, as well as Jason’s mental state. Along with this volatile saladgate’s episode. Which would had lead to to the kids being temporarily placed with a guardian whom could provide a stable environment for the them while Olivia and Jason attend court ordered counseling and then a decision would be reached which of the two would be given custody.
For a judge to ignore all of this, and still place her kids in a hyper-chaotic environment unfit for stability and normalcy? Maybe that judge’s integrity should be investigated, as he surely is not following the rule of the law.
Just like Sunday has been the unceremonious Sunday-Funday for blinds/ “fan”sightings, as it’s a common slow day for SM press.
Monday seems to be a favorite day for NoT- sO-pLaNnEd- mainstream press to be hogged by given to Holivia. Truth will never contradict itself. It will ALWAYS be supported with facts, logic, common sense, and evidence. Not everything deserves your reactions, everyone. Rather your observations and conclusions of a matter.
*Leave it to Olivia and Co to ruin our upcoming week meals. But since we’re taking about dressing, anyone knows any good vinaigrettes? I like the chili lime, but can’t find a store version. Thanks.*

The Science Behind Teeth Whitening: Comparing Methods for a Dazzling Smile
Tumblr media
Ready to unlock the secrets to a dazzling smile? The world of teeth whitening is brimming with options for achieving that radiant grin you've always wanted. But here's the catch: to make informed decisions about your dental care, you need to dive into the science behind both traditional methods and trendy innovations like charcoal tooth whitening.
So, are you ready to embark on this journey with me? Let's explore the ins and outs of various teeth-whitening techniques to uncover the keys to achieving that brighter, more confident smile!
Understanding Teeth Discoloration:
Ever wondered why our smiles sometimes lose their sparkle? Well, it's all down to a mix of things like age, what we munch on, whether we light up, and even our genetic makeup. But fret not, because there's a solution: teeth whitening treatments! These treatments work by utilising powerful agents to break down and remove those stubborn stains, restoring the natural brilliance of our teeth. It's like giving your smile a rejuvenating makeover!
Traditional Methods:
Traditional teeth whitening methods rely on bleaching agents such as hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide to restore the brightness of teeth. These chemicals work by penetrating the enamel and breaking down the stubborn stains accumulated over time, resulting in a noticeably lighter shade. While these methods are highly effective, it's essential to note that they may lead to temporary tooth sensitivity and gum irritation in certain individuals. Understanding these potential side effects can help individuals make informed decisions when considering traditional teeth whitening treatments.
Charcoal Teeth Whitening:
So, you've probably heard about charcoal teeth whitening, right? It's all the rage these days for getting that Instagram-worthy smile. But here's the scoop: while some swear by its stain-lifting powers, the dental community isn't entirely sold.
You see, charcoal is super porous, which supposedly helps it suck up stains and toxins from your teeth, leaving you with a gleaming grin. Sounds great, doesn't it? But hold on a sec – there's a catch. The scientific evidence backing charcoal whitening is a bit sketchy, and there are concerns about it being too rough on your enamel. Yikes!
Before you jump on the charcoal bandwagon, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons and chat with your dentist to ensure you're making the best choice for your smile. After all, your pearly whites deserve the royal treatment!
Comparative Analysis:
When comparing teeth whitening methods, several factors come into play, including effectiveness, safety, and convenience. Traditional bleaching agents are backed by extensive research and proven results but may cause temporary sensitivity. On the other hand, charcoal teeth whitening offers a natural alternative but lacks scientific validation and may pose risks to enamel health.
Safety Considerations:
Ensuring the safety of teeth whitening methods is paramount. While traditional bleaching agents are generally considered safe when used as directed, precautions should be taken to minimise potential side effects such as tooth sensitivity and gum irritation. With charcoal teeth whitening, the abrasive nature of charcoal particles raises concerns about enamel erosion and long-term oral health implications.
Choosing the Right Method:
Selecting the most suitable teeth whitening method depends on individual preferences, budget, and oral health status. Consulting with a dentist is recommended to assess candidacy for whitening treatments and receive personalised recommendations based on dental history and needs. Additionally, incorporating good oral hygiene practices and regular dental check-ups are essential for maintaining a radiant smile long-term.
Conclusion:
Understanding the scientific nuances of teeth whitening procedures is essential to achieving safe and effective results when pursuing a brilliant smile. Although there is a lot of evidence to back the effectiveness of traditional bleaching agents, there is reason to be wary when it comes to new fads like charcoal teeth whitening.
Charcoal whitening is very popular, but it hasn't received much scientific support, which makes many wonder if it's safe and effective. Therefore, putting dental health first and consulting with experts in the field can help people choose the right teeth-whitening procedure, ensuring a bright smile that radiates self-assurance and energy while minimising hazards. Hi, I need to tell someone this, because it is in the middle of the night and everyone is sleeping.
I was writing with a man, for the last days, very intensely. Not in a romantic way, he is planning to move into my country, so we started with language practises and also argued about politics etc. He's 27 and I am 23. I live in a country which is not so hard on age gaps (compared to some comments I see from Americans) but I kinda didn't like that in the beginning. I feel very young, I have some issues with dissociations and maybe even DID so, maybe it comes from that. I often forget my age and think I am younger and when I am among peers, I feel misplaced. When I visited a highschool, because a friend needed to pick something up, and I was standing there during a break and watching the students, I thought "That's where I belong". Idk but maybe just everyone in their early 20s feels like that. I just didn't like the age gap, because I don't feel like a finished adult, but someone with 27 does. But we harmonised fairly good and it was fun writing with him. I was always surprised by how educated he was, and how many degrees he already has. And tbh (and that's were I might need help) I always quickly take someone into my heart. I am always very loyal and open. I know that such online relationships (in my experience) always end, at some point. But at least, it wasn't, because I didn't give it all. And I always think "It's no big deal, I am used to disappointments, and it is worth it, for me" but today for the first time I had the feeling, that it was something bad, that did more harm than good to myself. And that I should be more reserved. But tbh, I just need validation from others, maybe that's also a reason.
Okay, whatever, we argued about politics, and he knows a lot about my countries politics and argued a lot about it. And while I agreed with most of it, at some point I was just fed up, to read, how he always finds another flaw in the politicians, the government etc. I tried to lead him to another topic, which didn't work, so I said crystal clear "Done with the political arguments all the time, give me a break".
He didn't take it good and... idk if I overreact, I just hate angry people, because of my background, but he blamed me for being too sensitive, he can talk bad about his own countries politics 24/7 too etc. And that wormed me, because I think it was unfair.
He was also always very reserved about his private life, and never told anything, and when I told him that that's odd, he said "Well, first, I am actually 34, I just lied on my profile, to get recommended to a higher span of people, to learn the language."
And that really hurt me. Because you can restrict, of what ages people can start writing with you. And, with my traumatic background, I absolutely love this. And when I see someone, who states, he's 22, to get around the restrictions and in his bio he says "I am actually 34, lol" I report them. Bonus points, if all of their friends are 16 y.o. girls.
And I really really feel uncomfortable. I was childish, I made some young people/social media references and memes that were absolutely cringe, but I felt safe, because I assumed, there was someone with a, more or less, similar background on the other side.
And now I feel very hurt and ashamed, for being so childish. And I think I'll tell him, that I don't feel comfortable continuing our conversation, in the light of this new news.
I just needed to write this down, to see, if that is reasonable, or if I am just angry because he called me sensitive.
I hope you come to the same conclusion and don't judge me.
Have a nice day.
Hi anon,
I'm so sorry about what happened. Please know that you are not childish for this and it's not your fault.
It sounds like you're experiencing a lot of conflicting emotions and thoughts about this situation. It's understandable to feel hurt and uncomfortable after finding out that someone you've been talking to online has lied about their age. It's also understandable to feel conflicted about the age gap between you two, given your own feelings of youth and uncertainty about adulthood.
I just want to say that it's okay to set a boundary not to discuss politics, but I can understand that shutting him down in the moment may have set him off and made him call you sensitive, although his response was not okay. While it's okay to just say that you're done with the conversation and to give you a break, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, you could say something like "I know you feel very passionately about this and I respect that, but I need to step away from this conversation or change subject as it's starting to stress me out." Remember that you don't deserve to put up with someone who cannot respect your boundaries, even when it comes to discussion topics.
It's important to remember that you are not responsible for other people's actions or decisions. It's also important to prioritize your own feelings and boundaries in any relationship, whether it's online or in person. If you don't feel comfortable continuing the conversation with this person, it's okay to say so and set a boundary for yourself.
It may also be helpful to talk to someone you trust about your feelings and experiences in this situation, such as a friend, family member, or therapist. They can provide a supportive space for you to process your thoughts and emotions, and help you navigate any difficult decisions or conversations.
If you're feeling hurt and uncomfortable in this situation, it's important to prioritize your own well-being and do what you think is best for yourself. You deserve to be treated with honesty and respect, and it's important to surround yourself with people who prioritize those values as well.
I hope I could help. Please let us know if you need anything.

The key tools and platforms for Pharmaceutical data analytics
There are many tools and platforms for Pharmaceutical data analytics. The most important tool for Pharmaceutical data analytics is WhizAI. WhizAI is a machine learning platform that helps analysts make better decisions about how to use their data. This is important because it can help analysts save time and money by making better decisions about which products to sell, how to price them, and which products to abandon.
The challenges of Pharmaceutical data analytics
1. Pharmaceutical data analytics is a growing field that has the potential to make significant changes in the way pharmaceuticals are sold and administered.
2. There are several challenges that have to be overcome in order to achieve this goal.
3. One of the most important challenges is ensuring that data is accurate and unbiased. This can be difficult to do given the sensitive nature of drug information.
4. Another challenge is ensuring that data is able to generate insights that can help identify and prevent problems with medications.
5. In order to achieve these goals, it will be necessary to invest in adequate technology and tools. However, this investment may not be enough if data remains inaccurate or incomplete.
How can pharmaceutical data analytics be used in business?

The Importance of Police Clearance in South Africa
Police clearance certificates are an important aspect of many jobs in South Africa. It is a document that proves an individual's criminal record and helps employers to make informed decisions about their suitability for a particular job. In this article, we will explore why police clearance is important for certain jobs in South Africa.
What is a Police Clearance Certificate?
A police clearance certificate is a document that shows whether an individual has any criminal record in South Africa. It is issued by the South African Police Service (SAPS) and is valid for six months from the date of issue. The certificate is necessary for certain jobs, especially those that involve working with vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly, or people with disabilities.
Importance of Police Clearance for Certain Jobs
Many jobs in South Africa require police clearance certificates as part of the hiring process. These jobs include those in the healthcare industry, education, security, and law enforcement. For example, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare workers who work with vulnerable populations are required to have a police clearance certificate before they can be employed. Similarly, teachers and other school staff who work with children must have a police clearance certificate.
Jobs in the security industry also require police clearance certificates. This is because security personnel have access to sensitive information and work in high-risk environments. Employers need to ensure that their employees have no criminal record to protect the safety of their clients and assets.
Law enforcement agencies also require police clearance certificates for their employees. This is because police officers have access to sensitive information and must maintain the trust of the public. A police clearance certificate helps to ensure that police officers have no criminal record and are fit to perform their duties.
Benefits of Police Clearance for Employers
Employers who require police clearance certificates for their employees can benefit in many ways. Firstly, it helps to protect their clients and assets. By ensuring that their employees have no criminal record, employers can reduce the risk of theft, fraud, or other criminal activities.
Secondly, police clearance certificates help to ensure that employees are trustworthy and reliable. Employers can feel confident that their employees have no criminal history and are fit to perform their duties. This can help to build trust between the employer and employee and lead to a more positive work environment.
Thirdly, requiring police clearance certificates can also help to reduce liability for the employer. If an employer hires an employee with a criminal record who then goes on to commit a crime in the workplace, the employer may be held liable. By requiring police clearance certificates, employers can reduce the risk of hiring someone with a criminal record.
Conclusion
In conclusion, police clearance certificates are an essential aspect of many jobs in South Africa. They help to ensure that employees have no criminal record and are fit to perform their duties. Requiring police clearance certificates can benefit employers by reducing the risk of criminal activity, building trust, and reducing liability. If you are applying for a job that requires a police clearance certificate, be sure to obtain one as soon as possible to increase your chances of being hired.

Things to Check Before URL Redirection (SEO) URL redirection is a method that helps direct users and search engines to the desired website. It is important for SEO becase it helps to avoid duplicate content and maintain a fluid website structure. Whether you are redirecting a URL for an existing website or are creating a new website, it’s important to check a few steps to ensure the URL redirection process works correctly and is optimized for SEO. Verify the Destination URL Before getting started on any website, you must verify the destination URL. This means you must make sure that the URL for the website you are redirecting to is active and working correctly. It’s also important to make sure the page you are redirecting to is related to the page you are redirecting from. This is essential because it helps to ensure the users are sent to a page they were expecting. Optimize your Title and Meta Tag The next step is to optimize your title and meta tags. Title and meta tags are important for SEO as they tell searhc engines what the page is about and can be used to improve rankings in SERPs. Be sure to include relevant keywords in the title and meta tags, as well as unique descriptions. Additionally, the title and meta tags should include information about the new URL, so it’s important to check them to make sure they are appropriate for the new URL. Check for Broken Links Another important step before URL redirection is to check for broken links. Broken links are links that point to a page that is no longer valid or no longer exists. If there are broken links on the page, search engines won’t be able to properly index the page and you may experience issues with your website’s ranking. To reduce the risk of broken links, be sure to check any external links and ensure they are still active. Double-Check Your Resources Lastly, it’s important to double-check your resources before redirecting a URL. This means you should check to make sure all images, links, and scripts are working correctly and redirecting properly. Images and links should redirect properly to the appropriate pages, and scripts should not interfere with the page loading process. This is important to ensure a smooth browsing experience for users. In conclusion, URL redirection is a powerful tool for SEO, but it's important to make sure the process is followed correctly. By verifying the destination URL, optimizing the title and meta tags, checking for broken links and double-checking your resources, you can ensure that URL redirection is done correctly and your website will be optimized for the best possible results. SEO is essential for any business looking to succeed online. It can improve your website’s ranking on search engines and drive qualified traffic to your business. We have experienced SEO experts who can help you succeed online. Check out our SEO pricing to see how we can help your business thrive. What are the risks of URL redirection? 1. Phishing: Attackers can take advantage of URL redirects to disguise malicious URLs as legitimate websites. 2. Malware Distribution: Redirects can be used to direct users to webpages hosting malicious software. 3. Data Theft: Unsecure redirects can be used to intercept sensitive data such as login credentials. 4. Unwanted Ads: Malicious redirects can lead users to websites filled with unwanted ads. 5. Loss of Search Engine Rankings: Redirects can cause confusion for search engines resulting in a loss of search engine rankings. What are the security risks of URL redirection? 1. Phishing: By hijacking a legitimate URL, attackers can create a convincing copy of an authentic website that can be used for phishing scams that target confused users. 2. Data Theft: Attackers can also use URL redirection to steal confidential information from unsuspecting users. 3. Malware: Attackers can use URL redirection to spread malicious software, Trojans, and other malicious code. 4. Social Engineering: Attackers can
also use URL redirection to deceive users into performing specific actions or giving away sensitive information. 5. Privilege Escalation: Attackers can use URL redirection to gain access to privileged information that they would not otherwise have access to. What are the potential risks of URL shortening? 1. Misleading URLs: URL shortening services can easily mask a link’s true destination, leading users to visit malicious, unwanted, or inappropriate websites. 2. Viruses and Malware: Due to their hidden nature, shortened URLs can become carriers for malware, viruses, and other malicious code. 3. Loss of Brand Protection: By using a third-party URL shortening service, businesses lose control over their brand protection. For example, an attacker may buy a domain name that is similar to the original domain name and set up a shortened URL that actually points to a malicious website. 4. Spam and Phishing: By using URL shortening services, attackers can easily send out shortened URLs to unsuspecting users in attempts to spread malware or conduct phishing attacks. Additionally, shortened URLs make it difficult for users to detect malicious links from trustworthy ones. What are the advantages of URL shortening? 1. It helps to simplify long URLs, making them easier to share or remember. 2. It can help hide URLs, allowing businesses to track click data while ensuring their links can’t be traced. 3. It can help shorten URLs so they fit within character limitations as with Twitter tweets. 4. It can help improve the aesthetics of a link, making it more appealing or memorable. 5. It can help create custom branded links, allowing a business to make their links unique and recognizable. What are the drawbacks of URL shortening? 1. Security Risk: As most URL shortening services use redirects, the destination URL and its contents are not revealed before clicking on the shortened URL, and this makes it difficult to authenticate the destination before clicking, which increases the risk of users clicking on malicious or phishing links. 2. Loss of Information: Even though URL shortening services are useful to shrink long URLs, when the reader clicks on it, a lot of information is lost, such as the parameters and query strings in the original URL. 3. Unreliable Services: URL shortening services can be unreliable at times, resulting in broken links, which can disrupt user experience.

frost harvest cider fog cinnamon moonlit
I am so sorry I took so long to answer the ADHD had me in a chokehold my bad
frost - if you could give some advice to your younger self, what would you say?
Don’t listen to these “doctors”. You are sick. It is not in your head. You’re not lying. You will be validated and angry and confused, but you’ll get your diagnosis and doctors who understand how to help AND listen to your whack-ass methods of helping yourself, and approve of them.
harvest - what fictional character do you most identify with? Why?
Oooh that’s a tough one. Probably Sandry from Circle of Magic because the one thing she cannot stand and will not allow is her friends or people she loves being treated as “lesser” for any reason. Her best friends are a “street rat” boy, a girl who was thought to be possessed, and a Trader (aka a despised and scorned group of people in the series) and she loves them all as if they’re her own noble-blooded family.
cider - a food that you disliked as a child but now enjoy?
Might get shit for this one but steak lmao. I used to HATE steak and I still only like it prepared one way, but I have a very sensitive digestive system so I kinda have to listen to my body about it lol
fog - how well do you think you’d do in a zombie apocalypse scenario?
I would either be the first to die because I am not fast or I would be the last survivor because my brain works in weird directions leading me to conclusions and solutions no one else would ever think of. No in between lmao.
cinnamon - if you had to live in a time period different than the present, which would you choose and where?
I don’t think I would live in any other time period tbh. None of them have been super great and with my health problems I would’ve either died young or been killed so, y’know. No thanks 😂
moonlit - are you a neat or messy person? Is your room / house orderly?
MESSY MESSY MESSY MESSY there is zero organization in my physical life whatsoever, my digital life is organized obsessively but I don’t have the energy to physically clean up my space. Mom and I are gonna try on some of her days off but we’ve also tried that before and I’m right back where I started, so. We’ll see lol.

Na-bi is gonna see what real love is supposed to be like seeing Soljiwan and high tail out of there! But you are so right about their friendship, they were all so protective and respectful of each other! True friendship!
I think what makes me especially rue the missed chances with their friendship is that I'm not even asking for more f/f, as sensitive a topic as that can be, I just want more Na-bi with her friends, which she was good with. She was so patient, so willing to listen to them and give them the focus despite being the lead and having her own issues. I liked her with them.
The whole of ep 10, you can see her smiling fondly at Soljiwan and mentally comparing them to her own situation.
Here, when she's literally bowing her head in despair and exhaustion against the lockers and then up walk the couple on their honeymoon:
Tumblr media
And at the art show, where BOTH Na-bi and Sol had sculptures on exhibit but Sol's partner came with her, hand-in-hand, and brought her flowers, meanwhile, Na-bi when Jae-eon's brought up:
Tumblr media
And before the famous "Sol..." handhold moment that Na-bi smiles fondly at in the restaurant, there's the part where Sol talks about liking the other person more and that's why you date them that Na-bi pays rapt attention to and takes validation from:
Tumblr media
ignoring that Se-hun's "whoever had the crush first loves the other person most" conclusion is false and that while Sol may have liked Ji-wan first, much more importantly, Ji-wan likes her back just as much. Kind of need that to be a prereq for a proper relationship, Na-bi!
And then of course we do get her admittedly very sweet reaction to their handhold:
Tumblr media
Right now it's just her being happy for her friends but every time he disappoints her and these two are there still acting like this, it's gonna sting more and more.
And finally, clearly remembering her own good memories with him when she sees them flirting over food:
Tumblr media
But again, good memories can only sustain you for so long, as the show literally pointed out.
I feel kind of bad for her and Jae-eon because Soljiwan are the best of both worlds, best friends and lovers, in a way that even normal couples will look distant and mediocre against. But compared to a guy with massive commitment issues who's already hurt her so many times and said he will again, it's gonna be rough.

Fair warning: it's a long post. Let's examine some of the reasons that Kara has cited why she didn't tell Lena the super secret:
1. She wanted to protect her
Now, this one has some legs on it as Kara specifically mentions it in S3 during a conversation with James and Mon-El. And there's definitely some truth to it. But it's also bullshit. Lena was in constant danger and put herself at risk to save/protect Kara who didn't actually need it. In fact, the first time Lena's mentioned (not shown just mentioned) it's in regards to the venture explosion - something that happened because Lex was trying to kill her. People have been trying to kill, kidnap, manipulate, threaten Lena since minute one. Knowing Kara = SG would not have severely worsened any of that. In fact, it might've helped ease Lena's anxieties and resulted in her taking less risks with her life. In fact, I'm surprised Lena didn't think that Kara's association with her was putting Kara at risk (a far more likely thing).
The 100th episode addresses this to some degree in one of the AUs. Lena tells Kara that she wouldn't have had to risk her life dealing with Sam/Reign alone if she'd known the truth and she's absolutely right. And sure, Lena could've told SG and the DEO when she pieced Reign = Sam together but ask yourself, why would she? What assurance did she have that the DEO would not have treated her BEST FRIEND like a hostile instead of someone in need of help? The DEO is guilty of this and they have a history of locking up aliens indefinitely and on occassion straight up murder. After Reign nearly killed their biggest asset (i.e. SG) why in the hell would Lena trust them with helping Sam? She wouldn't nor should she have. She didn't know that she could go to SG because remember, Lena doesn't think of her the same way she does of Kara. SG is not her best friend. She doesn't have a personal, humanized relationship with her (at least not that she knows of). And obviously she's not going to tell Kara the human reporter with the DEO agent sister about it either. And the kryptonite? SG lost her shit over it even though she's been working with the DEO who stockpiled the stuff until SM left with it (a dumbass move that would've bit them so hard in the ass with the WK situation if it weren't for Lena's kryptonite!). Plus, Kara didn't have an issue with Oliver having a kryptonite arrow, J'onn having a sword. But Lena? How dare she!
So yea no. I get that "I kept my secret to protect you" is a popular thing in the hero world but in the case of Kara and Lena, it doesn't make sense and it did make situations unnecessarily harder.
2. She didn't trust Lena
This is mentioned by Kara to William in a deleted scene from S5 but I think it's worth exploring. I'm not sure to what extent Kara means with this but it could be referring to the moments as SG where she did display a distrust of Lena's intentions and she used Lena's personal relationships against her (i.e. asking James to break into Lena's lab). I mentioned the S3 shitshow with the kryptonite which is where a lot of this started but there's also other scenes in that same season where SG pretty much calls into question the so-called trust she has in Lena despite claiming otherwise. The switch was so abrupt the minute she learned Lena not only had but knew how to make kryptonite. Did anyone ever consider why Lena would bother learning how to make kryptonite? I'd hazard a guess that it was something she was looking into even before Sam/Reign. I think she happened to find Lex's stock and she decided to learn how it works and why it affects the Supers like it does. That would explain how Lena seems to be the ONLY ONE able to make an anti-kryptonite suit and other viable forms of the rock (i.e. Harun el). But no, SG and others immediately jump to the worst conclusions and associate the endeavour with Lena's last name, something SG KNOWS Lena is sensitive about it. And then the harun el. SG was suddenly fine with Lena making it when it was to split Sam from Reign and save Argo from extinction. But when it was used for something else that Lena didn't clue her in on (and what do you know, Alex, Brainy and James didn't either and they KNEW what Lena was doing with it) she got back on her high horse and the distrust became front and centre. You can't trust Lena as Kara and then immediately distrust her as SG and expect her to be accepting of this dichotomy. I'm surprised the woman managed to retain her sanity.
And still, this reasoning doesn't quite hit the mark in comparison to every other insistence of Kara believing in Lena (from day one she even told Clark that she believed Lena after meeting her for the first time). But the contrasting opinions and actions must have given Lena pause. I don't blame her to call into question which version of the truth was real and choosing to believe the worst. It's what SG and the SFs have been doing to her.
3. She was wary of Lena
This isn't an explicitly given reason but I do think it's how the secret keeping started in S2. Frankly, I don't even blame Kara for not showing her full deck in the beginning because she (and even us as an audience) didn't know much about Lena beyond wanting to do good and not be like her family. So no, Kara not telling Lena in the beginning actually makes sense to me (though she told Nia in a split second but that's neither here nor there). For me, I started to seriously take Lena at her word after the Medusa episode. That would've been the perfect opportunity for her to show the true "xenophobic" colours some parts of the fandom accuse her of having and she didn't do it. I don't think she even got so much as a thank you for it. People praise SM for getting Lex arrested but ultimately it was Lena's testimony that got him thrown behind bars. Same thing with Lillian! And yes, the daxamite invasion was facilitated by Lena unwittingly working with Rhea but she fixed it with the lead dispersal bomb, a device she allowed SG the privilege of using or not. So Kara and the SFs being cautious about Lena really should've evaporated halfway through S2 (and it did for Kara at least). In fact, the daxamite invasion may not have happened if Lena knew exactly who Rhea was and her relation to Mon-El because they would've warned Lena about it. Lena did want Kara's advice on Rhea and she would've waited for it if she knew what was going on (i.e. Alex being held hostage) and hell, might've been able to fix it in typical Lena ex machina fashion.
4. She didn't want to lose her
This is probably as close to the truth as we've gotten and it's actually part of her confession in 5x01 (something her outburst in 5x19 tries to undo). But the thing is, Kara KNEW this was a possibility and yet, continued walking towards the deadly cliff with her eyes wide open. The probability of losing Lena got higher and higher as time went on and it was always inevitable. There was always this spotlight placed on Kara telling Lena or Lena finding out on her own but there was always a HUGE chance that Lillian would've told her. Or Lex, which is exactly what happened. And Kara knew that they knew and yet she did nothing about it. The minute kara found out Lillian knew she should've taken action, what guarantee did she have that Lillian wouldn't have gotten bored of waiting for Lena to piece it together? How can they just leave Lillian with dangerous knowledge like that is beyond me. When Alex in particular has made such a big deal about people knowing, didn't want Kara telling Lena, only allowed Kara to tell Lucy to save J'onn and yet, letting Lillian amble about with this info is okay??? Nothing was stopping her from telling Lena or it slipping during one their chess games and definitely nothing stopping Lex from dropping that bomb.
The 100th episode AUs showed us that each time it was Kara telling the truth, no matter how hurt and upset Lena rightfully was, she was ultimately fine with it. And Kara ends up losing her to death, not because Lena walked away. How this wasn't the takeaway message for Kara after that adventure, idk. It was Kara's hesitatancy in telling Lena that allowed Lex to weaponize this secret and twist it into something it never was. And yes, Kara doesn't owe a damn soul her secret and has rarely ever been given the chance to tell anyone on her own terms (James - told by SM, Alex, J'onn, Brainy, Mon-El, the Legion - always knew, Lex & Lillian, Lord & Cat - found out somehow). She only ever got to tell Winn, Lucy and Nia and I'm sorry but none of those people have ever proven themselves trustworthy at the time of the reveal the way Lena has.
So while Kara is every right to keep her secrets, she was wrong to insert herself in Lena's life if she never had any intention of telling her and let's be honest, it really didn't seem like Kara had any timeline on that front.
5. She was selfish
Similar to the above and also mentioned during the confession but this is even deeper. Lena was something of an outlet for Kara, a way to feel completely normal, something she hasn't been able to experience with anyone, even Mon-El. Can you imagine being a cub reporter who knows powerful CEO Lena Luthor and having said CEO choose to spend time with you? Choose to let you interview her when she's wary of the press (remember her interactions with Clark in 2x01 and her family history)? Choose to treat your problems as important and valid and human? I don't blame Kara at all for being selfish with Lena, for wanting to keep Lena all to herself like that. But to not share the other aspects of herself was seriously wrong too and resulted in this imbalance in their relationship. To Lena, it looks like she was giving all of herself when Kara was not. It looks like she put all her trust and vulnerabilities out there when Kara didn't. It looks like Kara was using her (which let's be real, she kinda did a few times in S2 with the fight club and bs article to get info on Lillian and then ofc the CatCo-Edge problem she visited Lena for after ignoring her and proceeding to continue the rejection after Lena said she'd look into it).
You think post-reveal Lena didn't think back to all those moments and have those kinda thoughts? Even called into question what might've been the real reason James dated her and Kara was so insistent on befriending her? Were there perhaps times were she figured it out and can't remember and what's why she chose not to see it? Why do we think she still showed up game night in 4x22 instead of confronting Kara? Because these thoughts amongst others must've been swarming her mind and the only way to keep the upper hand is to continue playing dumb. So yes, Kara made the conscious decision to be selfish with Lena because of the unexpected connection they forged and I get it totally. But Lena has never been selfish and she's always made hard efforts to be a damn good friend (and she was idc what others might think on that) and open herself up to Kara despite how difficult and frankly foreign that is for her.
So are Kara's reasons valid? To a point, I would say yes but their validity waned over the seasons to the point where the secret keeping didn't even make sense anymore.
So was Lena's anger valid? Yes! 100% it was and honestly, I'm surprised she managed to keep it together for so long. I couldn't. But her anger doesn't justify her actions (mind control, manipulating Kara, threatening Russell, holding J'onn's bro captive, putting Hope inside Eve) and how she went out of her way to hurt Kara back. However, I get why she did it though it's worth pointing out that this is the only instances of a betrayal in her life where Lena has gone this far. Bitch straight up spiralled where previously she would cut ties and move the fuck on with life. But with Kara, that doesn't even seem to manifest itself to Lena as an option. Will the show ever address the obvious WHY for this and for Kara being so so terrified of losing Lena (like honestly I have never seen Kara look more distressed).
Maybe, maybe not but regardless I'm not buying this platonic friends nonsense because no one is that devastated over a friendship. Many of us (myself included) have experienced falling outs with very close friends and breakups. Which one do you think the Kara/Lena rift in S5 felt like? It was full on heartbreak, loving someone in complete torment and not being able to stop despite wanting to because even though it's painful, the alternative is infinitely worse.
MB and KM's acting choices aside, these idiot showrunners have brought us to this point with their own narrative and the only logical next step is to make them canon.
Lol okay I'm done.

Why the Dream SMP’s way of storytelling is IMPOSSIBLE to recreate in any other medium.
This has been in the back of my mind for the longest time. I think I finally got it.
People have talked about this before, and they’ve put forward some good points, and good for them – most of them are correct. It’s the way the ccs interact with each other, it’s how plot is mixed in with banter, that’s all good! I wanna put more out there.
So you know how you open a book to read, you start a new show, you sit down to watch a movie – that’s all produced by some sort of company, someone who made it specifically for you to enjoy. You expect a certain dramatic flair to it, certain cinematic choices, certain ways of writing, certain camera angles, certain reactions to things. That’s just ingrained expectations of things now.
The DSMP? Doesn’t have that.
The low expectations work very much in its favor. It’s a Minecraft role-playing server with a bunch of famous youtubers/streamers, who are all good friends and have great dynamics with each other. So when you expect “just another Minecraft video” but in stream form, or you watch the videos because there are certain people in them, you don’t expect to be dropped into extreme lore and sensitive topics, realistic situations proposed in game form, a combination of serious stuff and just fun times with friends goofing around – and you’re pleasantly surprised.
We, the fandom, are used to it a bit more now. How excellently they manage to make a serious story in such a “ridiculous” medium, how much it affects us all and gets our creative juices flowing. But even the ccs can’t predict some of the things that happen. And that’s fun.
The whole election ending the way it has? That was on us. And it made some of the most angsty content there has been in the DSMP. People still theorize about the arc and make connections to now – that’s pog!
Fundy being adopted by Eret – that sparked the whole “Fundy just wants a dad – let’s get him some love” thing that made FundyWasTaken and other Fundy+someone ships happen. I see a different person paired with Fundy every week, and somehow, I agree with all of them. I really got into Fundy because of that stream where Eret “slept through the adoption” and Fundy confronted his real dad and spent time with his granddad. That little stream gave us more insight into Fundy’s whole character (Nevermind Fundy showing off his acting skills – you go you funky little fox), but also justifies some of his actions now. DryWaters? Wanting to kill Technoblade? Fucked up reasons, but we still love him.
Phil being broken out of house arrest ahead of time – still made a great stream and Phil agreeing with Techno’s want for revenge – that made us all very happy. The SBI!!! The AE! And that’s also a thing!
That even if we do know or have predicted what’s going to happen, begged it out of the ccs basically, it is still incredibly fun to watch. Where some books/shows/movies fall short and reveal too much and end up being “too predictable”, they’re not fun anymore. I read this somewhere before, that sometimes holding back EVERYTHING from the reader, and relying on shock value to make a good story is just bad. Whereas if you progress the story naturally and let the reader make some predictions of their own and then they end up being right – that’s a lot of serotonin right there. It’s the re-readability that makes it slightly better the second time.
The DSMP takes this concept and fucking yeets with it. Letting fans engage in the story, letting them theorize and then be right, even acknowledging the fanart that was made, just engaging with the community that their roleplay created – that makes it so much more fun. I bet that even if the whole script was revealed to the fandom we would still watch every plot stream. Even if we knew vaguely what happens in the stream, we would tune in and enjoy every second of it. Because the ccs are just that good, we love them that much, we love this plot that much.
Oh and the unpredictability helps too. Tommy in exile was the vague concept of a lot of the streams – it’s taken that and ran with it in a lot of different directions. All quite enjoyable.
Having said all of that… The fact that this type of telling a story is impossible to recreate in any other medium is… kinda saddening? It is incredibly unique, and I’d say has things that not a lot of the people that produce mainstream media would even consider. “Just friends hanging out” – how would that make the script progress? “Engagement with the fandom, even considering their wishes for the characters” – but we’re telling a story here!
The only thing I can think of that would come close to the vibe, would be just a bunch of writer friends coming together, thinking up a universe and general plot, and then each deciding to write a few of their own characters in that universe. When one author focuses on their main characters, the side ones can feel left in the dust, or not fleshed out. The DSMP is just “every character can write their own story”, which takes a lot of the strain from the “main writers”. But the general thing of “just friends hanging out” would be taken away from it. We’re being serious here, why would we change the tone so quick?
With all of that in mind… I kinda wanna make some predictions? And I don’t know if they’re correct, but it’s fun to theorize. See?
1. L’manburg will die.
And not just because Techno has 54 withers. The country is cursed – it definitely is. There is little sentimental value that can be felt for a few flimsy stilts built on top of a crater. It might go out in a blaze of glory, with the withers (Is history repeating itself an interesting enough plot point to recycle a whole arc?), but it might just be forgotten. Yeah there have been some angsty headcanons about how “no one cares about L’manburg anymore, save for two people” and it just gets abandoned, but how about it just becoming irrelevant?
This all comes back to Dream, it always does! His want, need for the server to be “one happy family again”, it just means one thing. He wants the server to return to the peaceful anarchy that it was before L’manburg. No rulers, no factions, no nothing.
That’s never going to happen.
Try as he might, Dream cannot affect that change that L’manburg did to the server. The introduction of a faction, one that can exist without the interference of a higher power – why do you think so many factions have sprouted up since? And it’s not even serious factions a lot of the time, it’s just a few friends deciding to build their bases on a plot of land that they claim is a nation now. L’manburg has changed the mindset of these people, now an alliance with somebody is a political move. An alliance doesn’t exist if it doesn’t have a faction, and that faction can remain neutral for only so long.
Basically, L’manburg introduced the factions mod into the server.
And the fact that every faction now has enough relevance to hold weight in a war also means that every nation on the server is doomed to follow the downfall of L’manburg. Eventually, they will get into a fight they can’t win, go up against the wrong people, anger someone they shouldn’t have. All factions will either be destroyed, or lose relevance, until their creators, residents and such just… move on.
(And really you can go into meta and talk about real governments and compare them, but it’s far more simple than that. The server isn’t built for peace, it isn’t meant to be a relaxing place where you can just vibe, it may have been made for a few friends to play Minecraft together, but it has turned into An Author’s Curse. The curse that follows any kind of story being told – the fact that peace is boring. People watched the first streams of the DSMP because they liked the ccs, and that’s valid. But how many more people tuned in to watch the war streams because there was PLOT and there was CHAOS and there WASN’T CALM PEACE ANYMORE – that’s the curse of every writer. That you can write about someone just living their life drama-free, you can make interesting peace with characters or circumstances, but it’s always leading to one inevitable conclusion – war, drama, because people read that. And at this point, it’s just a predictable outcome. No matter how much you say that you are retired, that you’re done with violence (Technoblade), something will happen that will prove to you that you believed in people too much. No matter how “neutral” you may be in the matter, no matter how much you claim that you have no allegiance (Philza), you will be forced to pick one, because out of all the bad things, you pick the least worst one, the most appealing to you, the one that can benefit your want of revenge.
And I can go on, but this is far too deep for one simple reason – The Author’s Curse is so prevalent here because THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO STAKES. It’s a video game – you die? You respawn. Something gets destroyed? You can just rebuild. Sure, you’ll want to kill the person who did wrong to you, but whatever they did wrong can just be replaced, remade, recreated. So why not have wars? Why not cause massive amounts of destruction “for the plot”?
It’s literally a playground. How all authors have their little playground with their characters that they meticulously plan out, the DSMP is that playground for all of these people.
And it’s fun! Sure! I like it! I’m just really skeptical whenever someone in character says that they “just want peace”, “are retired”, “swear off violence”, “are building just a little city for themselves”. Because you can do that, nothing wrong. But eventually, no matter how much you distance yourself from all of the chaos happening, all of the wars, you will return.
Because it is just much more fun.
It’s the curse. A cursed cycle.
And everyone is in it.)
2. The prison.
I don’t have anything on the prison because I don’t have anything on the book. Yeah I’ve done a whole post where I overanalyze what it could be, but it doesn’t make it any clearer. Whatever it is, it’s made out to be a huge plot point, something that can only be revealed when the prison is finished.
Cursed. The prison’s reason for being constructed is the book, but the book is only relevant when the prison is finished. We can only wait, and theorize, as we do.
(My only theory is that the book is information about another op on the server. Or at least something related to op or creative mode. Dream only fears one thing on this server, and that’s Technoblade, so if his one fear is the most skilled player on the server, what else could give him existential fear?)
3. The SBI.
Again, I don’t have anything! Yeah the reunion seems to be going smoothly, one member at a time, but there is already conflict in their beliefs among each other. And all that’s happened is a vague “maybe one day we’ll strike”.
Is history repeating itself an interesting enough plot point to recycle a whole arc?
Is L’manburg’s destruction AGAIN really necessary to hammer home the idea that no one likes that place anymore?
I don’t know. Whatever happens, no one’s in the right. No one’s in the wrong either. They’re all not good people and that’s that on that.
4. The Clingy Duo.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
That’s all.
(Okay seriously? All of these arcs are connected. You know what happens when everything seems to be connected to one another?
A giant, dramatic final showdown between the two opposing sides.
Cause it’s just Chaos vs L’manburg. Those are the sides. People that want L’manburg to exist and people that want it gone. There are no other sides, there isn’t someone who’s like “Well maybe it can exist if we do this and this” cause no one wants to put in anymore effort into this cursed country. The only people were the clingy duo and now they’re separated and everyone is just leaving and Tommy is on the Chaos side like at this point he doesn’t care about L’manburg he just cares about Tubbo but he has to convince Tubbo to leave L’manburg but will Tubbo be convinced but will Tommy even consider leaving L’manburg and breaking free from its curse AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
Goddamit.)
5. The Egg?
Dunno shit about it. Like the prison – it seems important, but we’re just not being given enough information. Is it a coincidence that the moment Dream commissioned the prison the Egg popped up? Or are the two directly related?
I don’t know. But as long as someone is finding ways to fight the Egg, that’s fantastic. Bad juju indeed.
6. Oh the Butcher Army want to kill Dream!
Hah.
Okay I’ve seen people make the case that the Army is just a bunch of people with trauma repeating the cycle of ab*se that they went through and yes.
Just yes.
And the fact that no one is actually looking at it that way and no one is there to like.. help them or even help them understand that what they are doing is just irrational, even though their reason for doing it and the result they hope to achieve is YES and the only thing that a lot of the people of the server who want peace should try to go for as well, they cannot stand up to Dream on their own. They just can’t, they will get punted into exile. They need allies, and they need powerful ones, people that have also been wronged by Dream and want him gone.
But the cycle continues, and no one knows where it ends.
(Okay but from a writing perspective? Getting rid of Dream is the end goal. It is the be all end all of all conflict, well… most of it, at least most that’s related to the supposed “good side”, or “the side that’s been most victimized”. But from the same perspective, that side is just… no longer. It has proven that is just as bad, if not worse than the final boss. I have to agree that Techno has to pay for his crimes, even though I like him a lot, but Techno did in fact cause insane damage. Yeah L’manburg rebuilt, yeah Wilbur probably caused more – still he isn’t completely free.
But that’s a discussion on morality more than laws.
L’manburg is doomed to die. Dream is doomed to be fought, and probably won against (simply because he has won far too many times already, you know how everyone seems to hate OP characters…). But the Butcher Army is doomed to fail against Dream. So how does that work?
Welp.
Is history repeating itself and interesting enough plot point to recycle a whole arc?
The answer is no.
I’ve repeated that question three times now, and the answer to it is no. No it is not. L’manburg can be destroyed again, and it can be rebuilt again, but the sentimentality that people feel for it will not remain. The cycle of history ends somewhere, and it’s not too far a fetch that it ends here.
So what happens when Technoblade, Philza and Tommy roll up to L’manburg with withers and a destruction wish, only to be met with a bunch of traumatized children with axes and a death wish?
Well, I’ll spare the details, but from a purely writing standpoint…
The two sides team up.
Think about it – The Butcher Army doesn’t care about Technoblade anymore. They’ve seen that Dream is the one pulling the strings, they know that even if they do care about trying to eliminate Technoblade again, they have to get rid of his strongest ally – Dream. But through their anger, they’ve lost their fear. You should fear Dream, he’s a fuckin op. Techno is correct in not wanting to go against him.
But after Tommy? After seeing the Butcher Army at their lowest, screeching about Dream being the villain?
Will Techno finally go past his thinking of “government is evil, always government is source of problem” and realize that Dream has the most evil government in mind for his rule?
I’m still kinda sad that Techno isn’t making the conclusions he should about Dream. But he’s starting to – and really, the SBI-Butcher Army team up is the most logical thing that could happen.
Watch me be completely wrong or miss something and I’ve got ALL of it wrong. I would love that.)
(Also it’s very funny to me that Dream is literally simping for Techno while he’s just here like “Listen bud I would stab you on sight if you didn’t have creative mode”. Dream KNOWS that Techno can and will kill him given the opportunity. Techno knows that that opportunity may never arise.
It’s a weird type of stalemate, to be sure. But goddamn is it interesting.)
Anyway... if you read through all of this... I could bake you a cookie? Thank you! I like to ramble.
