Angeal's death has taken a toll on him, and while he typically doesn't let things like this get to him...it's different. Death is part of the job. Killing is part of the job. But he's meant to be fighting enemies, not his friends. Not people he loves and trusts and cares for.

It hurts more than he wants to admit, and he quickly wipes his eyes before turning around to look up at Sephiroth. "Yeah, I guess so," he mutters, not really able to look him in the eyes. He thinks that if he does, he'll start crying again, and he doesn't want to cry anymore. Zack just wants to move on, wants to stop grieving. Why is it so hard?
