Time to give my Lucifer's son headcanons because they've been stewing in my head for years and now having solid material for canon everything can be fresh and consistent. No. I don't have self control. Let's go.

He's shorter than Lucifer. Like just below his shoulder.

Right now, banking on his name being Azazel. (Can change, though.)

Azazel is far more stoic and stern than both Lucifer and Charlie.

Most people are terrified of him due to his unreadable expression and general quiet nature.

Plus this freakish thing he does with his eyes where they go all black and he stares coldly ahead. It makes people feel like their heart is being swallowed by a black hole. He's silent and frozen to the spot every time and so are the people who have the misfortune of seeing it.

Azazel has the "family red cheeks" and is the spitting image of Lucifer. People mistake him for his father all the time and can only tell the difference from the fact Azazel is smaller.

And the dark circles. Azazel constantly has dark circles under his eyes and wearing a frown. He is consistently stressed and overworked.

Azazel takes the duties to his family and Hell very seriously. He refuses to budge on it.

Azazel was the golden boy of the family.

Despite his moodiness, him and Lucifer have always gotten along.

Lucifer has been frightened of interacting with Azazel. Like he freaks out with Charlie. Surprise, surprise he's a mess. But it's more due to how strict he is.

Lucifer doted on Azazel since he was a baby and gave him a lot of attention. He had him on his lap to exhaustion. To the point he panicked and thought he lost his only son if he couldn't see him there.

Spoilers: He was either on Lucifer's back or with Lilith.

Lucifer showered Azazel with fatherly kisses whenever he "found" him.

Azazel kept Lucifer's first ever made duck and refused to go anywhere without it. Azazel still has it and keeps it on his person.

Fuck around and find out by trying to take it or damage it. Go ahead.

Azazel crafted himself a duck onesie to wear when he was younger and rushed to Lucifer to show him. Saying and I quote "This duckie you made was perfect".

Lucifer was deceased for like two weeks minimum. He couldn't function. He had to be moved manually. Calls to Lilith were either dead silence with Lucifer staring at the ceiling or Lucifer crying and squealing incoherently about it. Lilith's and Charlie's phone were blown up with countless photos of Azazel with edits of anything cutesy he could find.

Azazel spent most of it in his onesie and sitting on Lucifer's chest to make sure he wasn't dead.

Azazel struggles with depression and paranoia.

Lucifer took it upon himself to pacify him every time.

They had a close relationship but Lucifer had difficulty touching Azazel because he would freak out via violent demonic outbursts because of Azazel's difficulty with conceptualizing anyone approaching him for affection rather than danger. Lucifer going for a hug or any simple touch was an uphill battle of trial and error.

Lucifer had to craft things that trained Azazel's responses to understand the situation. Lucifer had little polkadotted bean bags in his hands and made them visible so Azazel understood he was going for a hug and there was no danger.

This was after countless times Lucifer had to just slowly inch towards Azazel before he got a positive response and Azazel came to hug him on his own accord.

Azazel had breakdowns bad enough to shake all of Hell. Most of them happened due to Charlie.

Lucifer was quick to go in the danger zone to sooth him after asking Charlie what she did that time.

"Whoa! That was close! Have you been practicing, sweetie? That's so great. Hahaha."- Lucifer, after dodging countless knives and angel spears Azazel aimed every which way at him, including his head.

Azazel always was in a ball crying his eyes out in Lucifer's arms after ages of him destroying everything.

Azazel hasn't cried since he was little.

Azazel can travel through dimensions and provides knowledge to humanity. It's a role he plays.

Azazel can shapeshift into anything. But he has a wolf form with a snake tail.

Lucifer has described Azazel as sweet as a puppy, both as a pun and because he genuinely finds his son to be a sweetheart. No one believes him. That boy has never cracked a smile in front of anyone.

Azazel genuinely wishes the best for his father and does everything he does because he's seen how the years have weighed on him.

Azazel is loyal to a fault and does everything within his power just to make Lucifer happy. That includes workload.

Lucifer regrets how some of his habits as a parent has made Azazel so overly disciplined and serious.

Azazel and Charlie have a strained relationship. Really strained.

Azazel believes the Hazbin Hotel is childish and shaming their family. While also giving Lucifer unnecessary stress. Azazel doesn't appreciate Charlie calling Lucifer to ramble about her playing in a sandbox.

Charlie, when asked about her younger brother, says he creeps her out. Majorly. Like- The Shining twins level of creeps her out.

Him possibly entering the Hazbin Hotel is her worst nightmare.

Basically, Azazel is like what people expected Lucifer to be like.

Azazel is highly polite in speech and mannerisms. But that is just more nerve wracking

There's always this air of "if you have one eyelash out of place, you're dead".

Charlie still has her people pleasing attitude with him. In fact, she doubles down.

Unfortunately, Azazel is never amused and sees through any attempts to pacify him. He's short and cold as ice.

Charlie can't comprehend why, despite them being siblings, Azazel feels like a stranger who couldn't care less is some random demon ate her or something. As long as it didn't inconvenience their father.

Azazel and Charlie never sat down for a conversation when they were younger.

Charlie has only seen Lucifer doting on him from afar.

Azazel resents Charlie for how she's treated him.

Azazel is a teen.

Azazel shares musical talent with his family.

Lucifer says he has a phenomenal voice and encourages him to actually get into singing and dancing. But Azazel always turned it down out of shame.

Lucifer always sung Azazel lullabies. Especially when he had nightmares and cried for him.

Lucifer still does. What? He wants his baby boy to get good sleep. He won't do it himself.

Azazel acquired his talent for singing through memorizing Lucifer's tones when he sung him to sleep.

Azazel hums his favorite lullaby from Lucifer to calm himself.

Azazel's favorite food is macarons and chocolate cakes. Though he doesn't eat them because they are unhealthy.

Lucifer spoiled him with them when he was small.

Azazel loves teas. So long as they are plain or natural without any sugars or added things.

Azazel believes Charlie is fake.

Azazel exclusively calls his sister Charlotte.

Summary: Everyone at camp has their secrets, but it's the mysterious Azazel "Zel" Morningstar that intrigues Gale the most. Afterall, a compassionate cynic that generously gives out magical artifacts they steal isn't exactly common in Faerûn.

Meanwhile, Zel wonders if Gale can swallow eleven inches.

Notes: i isekai'd my chaotic neutral tiefling rogue (any pronouns) from a dnd campaign into the world of baller's gayte. zel literally put shit on their face and gale immediately flirted with them, so i ended up writing fic of these dorks <3

At the sound of that low sultry voice, Gale finally looks up from his tome. Azazel calls everyone in camp handsome (especially Karlach, Lae'zel and Shadowheart), but given the nature of the question, they can only be talking to him.

Not that Gale is too surprised. Despite their supposed insistence on a reward, Azazel barely accepted anything in return for all the artifacts he'd given Gale, the blood she'd generously donated to Astarion every other night or so, and the infernal iron they searched for Karlach. That's to say nothing of how they've talked people out of murdering or capturing Lae'zel, apparently rescued Shadowheart from the ship or how Azazel is currently risking their neck for Wyll’s father.

It's a curious conundrum to travel with a pathological liar who somehow manages charm their way out of a sticky situation. A thief who constantly gives and gives. A cynical survivor who acts recklessly in behalf of others—

This was the scene that played in my mind while cleaning today;

Crawley sits at the tavern counter, finding the entire area rather uncleanly and unappealing— but it was the only place Azazel ever wanted to meet when Crawley needed him. Some nights, it ended in a drink and nothing more. Other nights it was Crawley trying to get Azazel to stop flirting with him. And, on nights like this one, there was business. *Real* business.

Yet, when Crawley turned to see Az slide into the chair next to him, it was clear to the angel that the old goat believed tonight to be one of wine and flirtatious banter. But there were bigger problems afoot— and Crawley needed Azazel’s *oh-so* charming personality to solve them.

“Lucifer came to my flower shop.” Crawley bites through his teeth softly and Azazel stops untying his ascot.

“What.”

¹Samael<Lucy's angel name>, Lucifer, The Morningstar etc. funnily enough i wasn't aware that He is the Twin of Michael.

² pretty much what we already knew. More angels were "cast down"³ than just Lucifer. Just remember like him, the other cast down angels have self assigned names to show they are independent from the control of god, gone from the light. On a random tangent, i cannot remember what Asmodeus's father's name is (child of angel and man). I do love the name. Maybe it was Azazel? That tickles that memory a bit.

Anyways....

They're not one of the Lamb as they were created to be. Remember, they are this god's first children, designed to only obey and follow that bastards orders like blind, unquestioning servants. Which is pretty much a big part of Samael evolution into the "now", Lucifer's identity.

The Bible often refers to Samael/Lucifer as a dragon or serpent. I wish they kept the ancient bit as to make a point of Lucy being an eternal, always has and always will exist Adversary of that bastard.

Yeah..... Even if Deities or their servants are created later in "eternal time"(sorry, that's the best way i can describe it), they will always have always been and will always be. It's a thing throughout all religions that mention eternal beings. But anyways, forget that and angel names stuff for the time being. That can be a fun topic of its own. Also it's hard.... Lineages and such get involved. As you can imagine, it gets pretty messy.

³ Cast down. Onto The Earth. From there they influenced early humanity before being forced into what we know as Hell. My memory fails me as to why and how they were forced "below" The Earth, but I'll find out as i read more... Probably found in more detail and more entertaining in more of the older Bibles, deuterocanonical stuff and other "inspired" writings.

Oh well. We can learn that together! Or you can tell me and I'll post about it, then find ways to expand and reference beyond the prompt.... Though I'll do references next time. I just went off memory for most of this bar the passage from Revelation. Which i should have done here, with this post.

But it's a bit of a quick "damnit, it's irritating me! Wiki will know that bit!"... Followed by "damnit" as my brain went "ooooo previously known knowledge turn on now!".

Honestly i regretted that i focused so much on Solomon's writs and his letters to his sons. I should have been doing the obvious. Current and old Bibles. That's where the good shit is. Then we can focus on where earthly connections lies in the stuff that have been created (or divinely inspired) like Solomon's writings and everything that influenced/created it.

yeah. I said created. It's currently only an entertained thought that it was his original work.... Or King Solomon had anything to do with it. But, still. The "Keys" transcripts has interesting details and it's fairly easy to find links to older works, holy works and Devil worship stuff. Just gotta find it on the net. Which is a PITA. There's sooo many red herrings. But I'll sort through it and make sure what i find are well referenced and confirmed to be of a certain age or written by a scholar/prominent figure (or they're Canonical/Deuterocanonical).

But yeah... my idea of revisiting the writs of Solomon by the researchers in the Library of London etc, is a moot point. Much more interesting more intact/complete books, tomes and grimoires that would have influenced these sets of fabricated (or not) works. This opens me up to so much amazing bits of work, paintings, instructions and such. So. Sorry. I'm an idiot.

Thinking about how cute Azazel would be in his demon form. Considering how much he resembles Lucifer and the fact he's smaller than he is- fuck, he'd look like such a little doll of a gremlin. Such a demon baby. Like a really dangerous small animal you can cradle in your arms. And considering he can indeed shapeshift into anything, it can be quite literal. Just imagine him perching on Lucifer's shoulder as a sphinx, kitsune, or a smaller version of his wolf form.

And the fact his cheeks would be bigger and his face is rounder. Plus Azazel's long hair and eyelashes standing out. Topped with the resting bitch face that is so angry it's cute. I don't think you could peel Lucifer off of him. R.I.P. Azazel's cheeks. He'd look so absurdly youthful in comparison to his already gorgeous, short father. Just like he's still an infant. Adorable baby. Handsome boy. Feral rosy cheeked prince.

Gale has half a second to marvel at how hard his heart crashes into his ribs (a phenomenon that hasn’t happened since her). He has less than that time to notice the dwindling space between them, the air that crackles like electricity. It’s not unlike when they melded minds or forged a moment of connection within the Weave, but it’s entirely separate.

This feeling is not borne of any magic artifact Zel carries, but it is from Zel themself. (From Consumption and Curiosity, a Gale/Tav fic)

— The concept for Azraels are the interpretations from Orthodox/Catholic, Islam, and Judaism research and scholars. The divider (of heaven).

— The concept of separating the soul from its physical form; Venus, Mars, Saturn (The planets), the idealization of something being amazing from the start dying out or loosing it (mentally and/or physically).

— Its always winter, because they live in a city in Aitalæ (A country thats always snowing), the bunker is underneath their house (the layout of the house is from the movie 'Monster House' but the basement isnt).

— the buildings in their country are either destroyed or abandoned, in SOME other cities (within the country) are flooded due to storms.

— the entire world is going through the apocalypse, some thriving, others arent.

— the language in Aitalæ is actually greek.

— the hindu interpretation in soulmates (but used in a platonic setting).

— The twins are half greek and half filipino, their ancestral lineage coming from all the way back in The Hellenic Republic (Fathers Side) and The Tigwahanon tribe (Mothers Side)

— Aitalæ CULTURE is based off of Filipino and Spanish culture, whereas how the city looked before the apocalypse resembles modern day Philippines.

— The twins are both atheist, or just have no religion in general (ironic ik). Both used to be catholic when they were in their younger years (16 and below) but left their religion due to certain things that happened (They're in their early 40s now).

— The story begins when they WERE 22, there will be timeskips or timeleaps where they age ofc. There will also be more arcs for those and/or new characters that are yet to be introduced. There will be some flashbacks to.

— The genshin version of the two dont actually live in teyvat, but rather live outside of it. The genshin version of the twins are only researchers that are travelling. What they do outside of teyvat will not be spoken of.
